Well designed, very friendly owners, excellent breakfast sitting on the terrace by pool.

This hotel is a true 3 stars, extremely clean, beautiful pool, fantastic breakfast.

We had breakfast here 2 times and enjoyed it very much.

It was a 20 minute walk up the steep footpaths into the beautiful town with its plentiful & very good restaurants (booking advised).

There was plenty of choice for the tasty continental breakfast.

Lovely relaxing breakfasts outside on the patio as well as keeping us supplied with refreshments while relaxing by the pool.

Because we were in Fayance for an international tournament which started early in the morning, the hotel changed the breakfast hours to accommodate the guests/competitors.

We opted for breakfast which was extra and good value.

Welcoming and attentive hosts, elegant swimming pool, comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast make this an admirable base for exploring this beautiful region.

The breakfast was good, and the coffee was amazing, I had like 4 cups.

The reption was very friendly, the room very clean, the breakfast good -all in all value for money -  a really good place to stay.

The room was small, felt cramped, and the carpet a bit dingy.

We found this hotel by looking at other reviews on Trip Advisor and a few other websites and decided to book it.

The pool is lovely and heated to about 27 degrees, breakfast is excellent with a range of  homemade jams   and the location is quiet and peaceful

but no Jackie drove us and sorted a taxi out for us coming back.

Food in the restaurant was delicious as always; good social distancing.

The ambience is warm and comfortable, the service is excellent and attentive and the food delicious.

They coped brilliantly, Excellent food, very generous wine, the best cheese trolley we've seen in France outside Paris [so many places no longer do cheese], delicious desserts and all the waiters were friendly, helpful and smiling.

Breakfast was excellent with all you could want from a French breakfast.

Most importantly, the food was scrumptious.

An extensive cheese board was a highlight of the already delicious meal.

This being said it's a delicious meal to behold

The buffet  breakfast was excellent and the staff again very attentive.

An amuse bouche, a crab starter and delicious sea bream followed by crème brûlée and then petit fours.

Good thing is the food was delicious, service just perfect as well .

Stand out dishes for me were the rabbit terrine and the steak tartar - which were both delicious.

Breakfast comprised a wide selectionof food and was good value, recommended.

Efficient yet convenient rooms, we slept well, had a very good breakfast and are ready to continue our tour.

We had a wonderful stay making the one night into two full days, starting with poolside lunch, evening dinner, great buffet breakfast next morning and lunch.

Breakfast could not be faulted, the yoghurt is the best I have ever tasted, there was fresh juice, pastries, bread, cheese, meat and great coffee.

The restaurant is of high standard, the food delicious, the service excellent (this comes of course at a price).

My only minor irritation was that the curtains did not fully close, the rail being set forward some 6 inches from the wall, allowing streams of sunlight through in the morning and in the evening those with the desire to look, a view, albeit very limited, into the bedroom.

but the rooms are basic – small with ensuite bathrooms but no tea/coffee making facilities,  no mini bar, safe or fridge and thin walls.

The only reason they don't earn another star from me is the pace of the meal was way too slow with not enough staff to even fill water glasses when empty.

It is a humble hotel, no tea or coffee in room, one bottle of water for four nights sort of thing,

The builing, once a water mill, is full of character.

The hot water took a long time to reach this room as it is at the far end of the building, this didn't bother us as the feeling of being separated from the hotel added to our pleasure.

however, the hot water did take a little time to come on however this seemed to add to the charm rather than deter.

Amazing stay in this cosy boutique hotel, staff is very welcoming, fantastic breakfast and nice and very clean rooms, dinner at their restaurant was sensational with Nicolas and Julie always going out of their way to make everything happen, we will be back soon, thanks for a lovely stay :)

Breakfast offers a really substantial choice.

The breakfast could have provided more fresh fruits.

but were greeted by the resident dog and a handwritten note, just perfect :) the room was super cosy and clean, the breakfast was just amazing (not a lot of options but everything was delicious) and you can even have it outside under the sunrise light.

I started with snails which I like very much and have had elsewhere this year in delicious sauces.

The breakfast offered a wide enough selection, all very nicely presented.

but the buffet was wonderful with fresh fruit salad, pastries and home made specialities.

The food just cannot be beaten; they always use fresh produce and seasonal ingredients.

Enjoy breakfast on the terrace on this wonderful place like it used to be maybe centuries ago.

Elegant, immaculately clean bathrooms and bountiful breakfasts to linger over on the terrace until lunchtime.

The food in the restaurant was delicious (some overcooked lamb aside) and the staff were generally very friendly.

There was a very good buffet breakfast round the fountan when the weather was fine.

and were a bit disappointed as it felt as the hotel and also the room has seen its best days and that it urgently needed a renovation.

The building is old and very well renovated with ancient furniture and all the comfort you need (Wi-fi and satellite TV).

17th century house renovated with a twist that makes it look more like a sort of curiosity cabinet.

Yet there were a few too many things amiss to leave us with a lasting impression of a great hotel: lack of warm water, some poor fittings in the rooms, the smallness of the ‘large double’ room, two animals (a bird and a gold fish) in the hotel reception kept in highly confined conditions (seeming rather cruel and in poor taste to us).

but in need of updating: why a chair by the bed, not a table; why is the wall covering stained; why no proper mirror; why the uncomfortable (to walk on) floor coverings?

but the bulding needs necessarily a renovation.

but appears shabby and definitely needs updating and the stair covering was well worn and looked grubby.

There is a bit of renovation going on with some gentrification perhaps?

but this hotel is overpriced, outdated and run by two surprisingly inhospitable and frequently rude and abrasive owners.

For some reason the hotel's own website has not been updated for 2007.

but the rooms are small and poorly lit with worn fabrics and broken furniture.

The rooms are tiny and unfortunately not airconditioned so it was rather hot in the middle of July.

but the rooms are admittedly small, this is not a problem if you will be sightseeing during the day but when we returned the third time with our baby the room was really too small, so I would recommend if you are bringing children to definitely pay for ‘Superior Confort Double Room’ or a level above.

The bed was the same size and the room just a tiny bit smaller

but were disappointed by the tiny room and even smaller bathroom.

For breakfast she asked us what we wanted and prepared also scrambled eggs for us.

Bronwen is lovely and was always there to help, breakfast was delicious and every little detail was thought to perfection.

The breakfasts were tasty and relaxing on the deck overlooking the gardens.

There is a nice garden, great swimming pool and the breakfast is fantastic.

We had breakfast in the morning on the main terrace and it is worthwhile staying here just for breakfast alone - scrumptious !!

Very peaceful and quiet location yet within easy reach of all the area has to offer, Rooms are comfortable and well equipped (we slept so well) and breakfast on the terrace a Provencal dream; highlight must be the pool.

Rooms lovely and chic, pool was great and breakfast every morning on the terrace was a real treat.

Each morning we enjoyed a good breakfast and the coffee was more than excellent!

Perfect for a stay in the South of France, Rob and Bronwyn are friendly,  hospitable  and do great breakfasts.

We had delicious breakfasts on the terrace every morning, and whilst we were only there for 4 days we are already planning our next visit.

I'm allergic to dairy (cow's milk) products, and they got me goat's cheese for breakfast, which I really appreciated.

Gorges du Verdon was about an hour away and the coastal cities about the same.

Both cities were picturesque and we ended up seeing an 18 piece jazz band performance at l'Espace Culturel in Fayence that was unforgettable.

Breakfast was of a generous portion, with fresh breads, juices and eggs (as per your personal order/preference, they ask you the day before).

Philippe and Geert make fantastic hosts and the breakfasts were superb accompanied by great tips for sight seeing and the promise of rest and relaxation at the end of the day beside the pool which has stunning views of the mountains and surrounding countryside.

Breakfast by the pool in the morning was delightful and we even managed a quick swim before we had to head off.

I stayed with my partner for 3 nights, and I really liked the very nice and big garden in front of the house, the 12meters long swimming pool and a generous breakfast.

The accommodation was immaculately clean and we had a kitchenette (although we didn't need it for one night) and a pretty private terrace with table and chairs.

The wireless access not working in the rooms was a bit of a pain as the wifi was one reason we'd selected this hotel in the first place - they were planning to sort this out I think.

The terrace frames this view and is perfect for breakfast, or just lounging on throughout the day.

The view from the breakfast table is alone worth 5 stars.

This is a truly wonderful place to stay, with sweeping views from the windows and breakfast terrace across to the neighbouring ‘village perche’ of Callian.

the views are indescribable and breakfast on the terrace was delicious and relaxed .

The views from our room's balcony and the breakfast room's covered terrace are amazing: it is quintessential Provence.

The thick walls of this ancient building gave us one of the quietest night's sleep I can remember and we woke to a sumptuous breakfast of some of France's best croissants, homemade marmelade and more other choices than we could have possibly eaten.

but the view from the veranda could keep you languishing over breakfast for most of the day.

It is such a stunning view from the bedroom, and on the balcony we had breakfast.

Having breakfast on the terrace with the same view is just the perfect way to start the day.

If you are lucky to be staying when the figs are ripe they were delicious to have for breakfast.

Sabrina made the most incredible breakfast for us every morning with everything from fresh juices, fruits, figs, croissants, eggs, baguette with homemade jams and honey, yogurt and granola. .

Breakfast was a feast, home made jams, fresh juices and even a strawberry pavlova!

The breakfast has been the best we ever had on holidays.

The hosts/owners are very welcoming and solicitous and the breakfast, served in the shade of a lovely tree by the pool is a series of delightful surprises from fresh orange juice to an assortment of breads, fruits and other goodies.

The breakfast was perfect : you can enjoy it outside during a sunny day , eating homemade cake , fresh fruits and perfect coffee .

Breakfast in the garden by the pool was delightful.

Breakfast outside with strong coffee, fresh fruit and more was a grand start before we went on our way.

The only sounds are from birds and ciccadas, the only sights are of Provencal countryside. Idyllic.

Unluckily on our last day it had been extremely windy and a terrible coal smell came in from the bathroom fan.

There was no aircon and the temp of the room was intolerable.

On the other hand its restaurant was delicious, fast service and good quality.

but thats not what we stayed for, the location is superb for access to the Gorge Du Verdon, 1 hour and 20 and your on the Cote Azure. We took up the demi-pension, which in my opinion is good value for money, Continental breakfast with good choice(if your not an early riser like me and its not there Ask!)

Because the chapel is flood-lit at night, we took the steep hike after dinner to walk off some of our delicious meal.

With the good restaurant and breakfast it provides all you need for a night or 2 on your travels.

Good service and cleanless plus a satisfactory common space for good breakfast.

As dessert a delicious foret noir cake not only filled, as usual with cherries,

We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed a delicious meal of local foods (chevreuil, sanguins, truites, morilles, agneau).

I choose the omelette aux fines herbes as a unusual starter

Before you leave buy a pot of M. Bains wonderful orange conserve it turns your breakfast toast into a dream.

If you want to visit the gorges it is in good location with good breakfast
