Bed was comfy and the air con worked so that was a bonus.

I felt the pillows were lumpy and mattress wasn’t that comfortable compared to other premier inns.

The bed was great (always is at premier inn).

What possessed you to provide such thick duvet?

Quiet nights sleep in the usual comfortable, spacious bed together with a functional bathroom with plenty of hot water.

Friendly receptionist, clean room, comfy bed.

This particular Premier Inn was a very good experience, we had one of the newer rooms with a walk in shower and very comfortable bed.

I  have no difficulty in recommending this hotel if your are looking for a comfortable place to stay at a reasonable price.

This hotel is a lovley hotel with lovley and polite staff members they always give you a smile and try there best to do things to help people we had a lovley 3 days and the dinner was lovley and the break fast was a lovley stay because it was lovley especially Georgina she is a lovley member of staff she always had a smile and is always treating people lovley and it is pleasure to see all the staff bieng lovley she is a lovley women I would rate her a 10 out of 10 and the hotel stay a 10 out of 10 because the room was tidy and no rubish and all of the staff were lovley 

Georgina is lovley give all of the workers some praise for all the lovley food they serve sand just there’d normal staff is lovley

Would stay here again,  prices cheaper than we thought, rooms clean and comfortable,  bar prices cheaper than most pubs.

but that I find acceptable given the price and what I expected.

The only positives were the nights I stayed the prices were good even though I didn't stay for 2 of the 3 nights and the parking was ample, Location was good

I'd recommend it as the price is very good.

Otherwise an excellent cheap mini break away.

We stayed at the Hastings Premier Inn having booked way in advance and secured a great price for a two night stay.

30TH June booked for a 1 night stay 10th July chose standard rate as no need to cancel.

but when you pay for a service, you expect it to be available.

Certainly will not be booking breakfast again, it felt like they were using the virus as an excuse to cut their costs.

The Hastings Premier Inn gave a comfortable night's sleep at a good value price as I'd expect from this chain.

For the small price we paid we had a great room, comfy bed and pillows and good food right next door at the Brewers Fayre.

Sainsburys is just across the road and Macdonalds so could get a cheaper breakfast there.

The Premier Inn was easy to book, good price, the room was clean and warm, and breakfast was available until 11am, meaning a lie in on Sunday morning.

The hotel itself was clean and tidy at a fairly good price.

Hotel is very good for the money they charge.

but there was no real noise so we were happy 
It’s a premier in not the ritz but you don’t pay ritz prices great over night stop would stay again

We took the bus which was only £9.00 for 2 adult day tickets and as for the 247 taxi it was also cheap and they were amazing!

The ambulance actually had an accident, hitting its roof & damaging a waste pipe - which caused a real problem for the hotel.

Smoking by other guests disturbed us by the smell creaping into our room.

But we didn't have a great sleep at all as where the headboard was against the wall that wall was against a communal door so when people were coming in and out the door it was banging on the wall and shaking the wall and headboard/bed waking us up everytime so after a long sleepless night u had to drive for an hour to get home

Only downside was that there was a busy road and you can hear the cars.

Room situated next to reception so noisy and couldn't have windows open for smokers gathering outside.

There was no soundproofing between the stairs and the room, so we heard people coming up and down the stairs with their luggage late in the evening/night and in the early morning (from around 7am).

Awful..do not stay in Room 123..access is horrendous & a definite fire risk with a sealed window.

Also on the Saturday night the police were in the hotel arresting a man, resulting in a lot of shouting late at night and damage to the stairs the next morning.

There were two main problems, our room 101 was VERY VERY noisy all night with constant use of the stairwell next door.

We did not feel secure as it was very loud and noisy from other stayers who were coming back drunk.

but because of the noise I'll never be going back there.

I didn't say anything to reception regarding the smell and their attitudes as I have had horrendous experiences with premier inns receptionist in the past and I didn't want another drama.

Staff rowdy, singing and noisy behind the bar.

Drunk noisy residents up & down corridor & outside until gone 1am, laundry van crashing around outside at 07.00.

Guests shouting and riding electric scooters around the carpark at 2am.

The room was noisy and could constantly hear people running around above us.

Our windows were looking onto the main road and we were not disturbed by the outside noise.

Had an absolutely splendid stay at the premier inn hastings, my room was very clean and up to date.

Enjoyed one night’s stay in this one - quiet, comfortable & clean room plus free parking….but would like to make a special mention to Sarah on reception & the hotel manager who were both so kind & helpful to us when my wife was taken ill during the night & we had to call an ambulance to take her to hospital.

however the air-conditioning was exellent and the room and shower room was very clean.

My room was spotless and air conditioning was on when I got there which was very welcome during the heatwave we have been experiencing.

The air con was on when I arrived which meant despite the heatwave the room was cool .

but I could have waited for a room to become available on ground floor.

Within 5 minutes to checking into my room I found a toenail clipping on the bathroom floor.

but the day before they changed it to 3pm but lucky enough the room was ready for us at 2pm.

Nothing seemed out of place when we arrived in August, and the room was spotless as always.

On pulling back the duvet, there was a disgusting stain on the bedsheet - that was large enough that it could not have been missed by the housekeeping staff.

Weekend stay - room smelt drains then we told room was supposed to be out of commission after we’d spent the two nights in there.

but disappointing that the bathroom had a musty damp smell which although not over powering it was enough to let you know it was there.

To top it off the whole room smelled of damp.

but a horrid damp smell and a old cigarette smoke smell which was fairly strong, damp smell was from the shower curtain which did look fairly old.

During the night I could smell a strong smell of damp or mould.

There were also cob webs throughout and a very musty smell.

My only complaint was a smell in the room that we noticed every time we returned to the room  & the  toilet not flushing well.

but these were so disgusting that three of our party ate just two and left the rest.

Room had strong smell of paint, AC broken, window unable to open as restricted resulting in poor ventilation.

but cleaners should have been on top of it

Carpet was giving off a very unpleasant smell.

Myself and a lady staying with her husband and very young children at to complain about the smell of Canibus in the corridors, not please tell al all.

First night was just hell bed linen torn, bathroom dirty.maintenance room door which was in our room was left open and would not close the smell well !!!!!

Dirty towels, poor lighting (actually no lighting in the bathroom, as it kept flicking as if you were in a horror movie).

We later found that the cold water supply to the shower had failed.

This was the first time I’ve had to pay for Wi-Fi ever there was cobwebs in the bedroom and a spider in the bathroom  nasty cheap coffee just as well I bought my own then having to pay for parking … again that was a first in a budget hotel for me ..

Even to find an empty reception to ask for a loo roll.

Only downside was the shower, we had to run it for ages before we got any hot water.

Just wanted to sleep, shower and get out.

In our room the ceiling appeared to have suffered a leak, it had  just been patched decorated very badly in a totally different coloured white paint.

As i showered the knocking sound got louder and then the extractor split in half, sending half of the fan towards the shower, hitting the shower curtain.

extractor fan in bathroom did nothing apart from make a lot of noise and metal door keys rather than cards.

Hygiene is poor, no cleanness, never changed the curtain including shower curtain.

One room had a strong smell of damp and/or bad drains coming from the bathroom.

The en suite bathroom ceiling was mouldy, so much for the enhanced cleaning regime.

but in my room - specifically the toilet so I suspect there is some sewage problem.

the soap dispense rfor the hand basin was empty.

Bath shower head was broken and leaked was unable to mention to staff as every time went to reception it was unmanned probably due to covid.

Lots to choose from the menu and with in a nice walking distance to the seafront.

It was made particularly delightful by superb service by Barbara.

There are lots of parking avialble to the hotel and only about 12 minute walk to the beach.

Stayed for the night after a full day at the beach.

The hotel is located close to the seafront which is refreshing.

Lovely area lidi is few mins walk up road and not to far a walk into town and beach all down hill until you wanna come back

Barbara on reception was very polite and friendly.

Staff very professional,  Barbara receptionist was very helpful and kind.

I would like to thank Barbara from the reception for help in recommending places that we could see in Hastings.

Staff are super friendly, specially receptionist Barbara Romanowski is a great brand ambassador, very knowledgable how to discover Hastings as we were there for the first time.

There were no wall sockets next to the bed, so you had to get out of bed to charge your phone,

I was not informed of parking charges nor reminded at desk to pay upfront.

Only downside and wasn't to much of a big deal was lack of plug sockets to charge things we had 3 phones 2 tablets and couple of other items that needed charge points.

There was only one plug socket in the room which makes it difficult to charge multiple phones etc.

but only if you pay £3 plus 20p admin charge, if you haven't pound coins and have to phone the car park operators.

If you are going to charge at least make sure it looks smart and not scruffy.

Wifi was charged at an additional £3 per day,

This chain still feels the need to charge for WiFi that most other chains including their main rival offer for free.

My only negative comment is that there was a charge to use the car park.

The bed & pillows were uncomfortable, plastic chairs in the room, no hairdryer, extra charge for Wi-Fi.

There was a shortage of plug sockets and we ended up having to borrow an extension lead just so we could charge two phones, an iPad and have the fan going.

Parking could be made clearer if paying by card.

lack of plug sockets ( blocked off) overpriced drinks, eg, bottle of bud £3.90, breakfast £8.95, no electronic card entry, defective bathroom door handle, could not shut or lock door, therefore the steam could activate the fire alarm.

No charge for parking as machine was out of order.

Arrived and our first room had water in bathroom floor the guy at reception was so sweet he tended to us immediately put us in a different room he is a credit to your business and should be given an award Later at dinner he was doing everything and he was so professional at it as well a read credit to your company

We encountered problems with the parking machine and a member of staff told us we'd have to ring and pay by credit card only to find out afterwards there was free parking on the road outside the hotel (might have been nice to be told this instead).

but be advised that Travelodge charges a £3.00 fee for 24 hours of use.

The server then said she was off and had to charge me.

You had to slam the bathroom door if you wanted to close it, so whoever is in the room with you (or neighbouring rooms) might have a small cardiac arrest if you want to use the toilet at 3am.

We opened the door to have a heat blast hit us.

The fire door did not shut under its own force.

We left the sign on our door asking for our towels to be refreshed etc and it didn’t happen.

but when looking a little closer, the door mouldings had months and months of thick dust and hair build up [see photos] .

but would 'log-it'  I honestly think it was the flustered member of staff opening our door by mistake, if she had owned up to that, things would have been okay, anyone can make a mistake. .

The room keys were actual keys that were awkward to use due to the size of the door handle and there was no internal bolt for extra security.

The only down side to our stay was that on the friday night being the 16th oct, and the last night of our stay, there were two young couples in room a few doors away, and they were very noisy til about 3am, going out for a cigarette every 20 mins, and being as loud as if it were daylight outside.

but room was comfy hot water in sink takes a while to come through and shower curtain sticks to the body.. Maybe think of door instead.

We also weren't told about what to do if we arrived back late as the door is closed.

Hand sanitiser on arrival by door, which we did not see a single soul entering or leaving the building use.

The bathroom door didn’t close properly. The WiFi is expensive (Premier Inn manage to do it for free!)

although bizarrely the door handle was in the wayof ther keyhole!

Doors need replacing & proper locks applied to them.

but most do and internal doors to noisy and staff shouldn't hover before checkout time as the building has a massive echo chamber sounds so hoovering should be done after standard checkout time

There is a bus stop very close to the hotel giving easy access to the town and back, my only issue was not having my sheets or towels changed despite my being there for six nights, I did put the `please make my room up` sign outside my door.

VERY VERY basic and old fashioned, even a yale lock on the door.

Room was clean and tidy, no noise and smelt fresh.

Was surprised to come back to the hotel it’s had a little refresh new carpets and a lick of paint just what it needed, the room was clean and the staff where friendly!

The rooms where very clean and done for me daily, food was very reasonable for the price.

Now I see Travel Lodge is advertising in the local paper to temp visitors to Hastings at £30 a night. Disgusting.

I was part of my daughters Hen weekend and they had two rooms in the basement and they said they smelt awful too.

Room smelt very musky service was very slow had one towel in room for two people hardly any plug sockets window could not open very wide would not recommend staying here also stunk of weed in corridor very limited choice on breakfast and poor service person grunted when asked question and bar very slow for service all in all a waste of money will not be returning

but I can’t get past the damp smell in the bedrooms.

Why would I pay more money to stay in this filth???

.I then waited at the Reception for 15 minutes before the same person I passed smoking outside arrived at the Reception desk.

When we went through into the hotel corridor from reception, we were greeted by a strong smell of stale water/drains, which continued upstairs  and into the room.

It stank of poop and rotten eggs, not just in the corridor,

Our bathroom the extractor fan didn't work and you could tell it was causing a lot of damp, and one of the walls in the bedroom had something splashed up the wall

On one occasion there were two staff getting coffee from the machine in the closed cafe and they both walked through the cafe and reception area without masks to have a smoke outside.

The room stank of damp and there was hair around the toilet and on bedsheets.

Carpet and wooden edge flooring was disgusting dirty and didn’t look like it had been cleaned in years!

but I have to say we had an excellent night here, great value for money a comfy nights sleep and this hotel is in a fantastic location right near the town centre which was ideal as we had a night out planned in the town.

Great location for visiting all hastings has to offer, after a long cold day down the old town i came here to a warm welcome and a nice glass of red wine, the next morning breakfast was lovely I will return again

The car  park had plenty of spaces and was quite cheap considering it’s close to town.

The hotel was perfectly located for us as went to the beer festival opposite and walking distance to the main town.

You should also remember the bar closes at 10pm so stay in town if you want a drink!

Rooms are a good size and clean  mins walk to the town.

but the hotel was very convenient for one of the events & for walking in to the town.

The hotel is only 10 minutes walk from the town centre.
