Yes you can walk to the hotel
from the airport which is a real plus.

This airport hotel offers the most convenience to any traveler in Chile.

This is a very good airport hotel and is literally just a walk across the road to the terminal, glad we stayed and would not hesitate to recommend it.

It is practical to stay at this airport hotel especially for those who have one day layover in Santiago.

Holiday Inn Santiago Airport hotel was very much appreciated after a long and tiring flight!

The restaurant was very nice for an airport hotel, and overlooked the airport terminal outside the windows, just steps away.

It is only about a minute walk from the hotel into the airport.

This is a good airport hotel located right at the airport entrance only a one minute walk across the pedestrian crossing to the terminal.

This hotel is right across from the airport - you just walk right across the street and into the hotel.

In the restaurant the food was reasonably price for an airport hotel and I recommend the Filet Mignon or the Cold cuts and cheese platter both very very good.

Nice hotel next to the airport so perfect when your flight is canceled.

You can walk directly from the airport to the hotel which is a huge bonus after doing a lot of travelling.

The rooms are of decent size and well sound proofed, important for an airport hotel.

but I think the biggest thing about an airport hotel especially one virtually on the doorstep of the airport is achieving quiet and the holiday inn definitely surpasses itself there.

staying at this On Site Airport property is worth no stress.

Bed was very comfy after long flight and it was very quiet - couldnt ask for anything more of an airport hotel - or any hotel for that matter!

The food was good and reasonably priced, especially being so close to the airport where they could probably get away with high prices and bad food.

This hotel is conveniently located at a short walking distance from the airport.

Located very conveniently near the airport - you literally walk out the terminal, cross the road and into the front door.

It was reasonable, in line with most hotels close to airports, offering basic accommodation, and quite basic fare, If you want a hassle free trip to the airport on foot, this is the place to be.

Overall, we had a nice stay and I would recommend if you need somewhere near the  airport.

We appreciated the proximity to the airport and didn't mind taking a cab into town.

This hotel is very close to the airport just a couple of minutes walk as you exit the airport.

It is right across, within walking distance to the airport.

I think the value – price is good and is the best option if you have to be near airport.

All in all I would recommend to whoever has to stay near the Airport.

They have 2 different credit card machines and one charges  another fee and the other one doesn't.

Need your room card to access the hotel beyond the reception area.

Still not enjoying that hotels in Chile do not charge taxes to foreigners and charge them to locals, which is insane and not caring of the people they coexist with.

The front desk even went to the trouble to explain the tax situation for tourists - hand over your tourist paper along with your passport on check in, and provided the hotel is registered, the 19% IVA tax won’t be charged.

Here as in many places in Chile, the suggested gratuity of 10% is included in the bill, and you simply acknowledge that (or change it if necessary) when the server brings the credit card machine to pay (or charge to your room).

With this range of room charges, I would suggest to include free bottles of water and Slippers.

The glass door leading to the lounge, bar, restaurant and elevators is accessed through room key card.

On my second visit the only electrical socket by the bed was non-functioning (tiresome for those of us who phone charge overnight).

We arrived early in the morning and were granted early check-in without extra charge since we are IHG remembers.

but we were able to stay in our room for 2 extra hours without charge and after we checked out at noon we were able to stay in the premises with access to their wifi, restrooms, and restaurant.

We stayed on the 23rd and 27th December and on the first visit we paid a $100 credit card deposit to cover any bills.

And if the cards are reused over and over again they also become unusable.

The attention to detail in this hotel is exceptional an absolute credit to it’s management!

Then everything I wanted to charge (phone, camera, tablet) could be charged without an adapter.

I advise anyone staying to put the latch on their door and to keep a close eye on any transactions with the hotel.

We went to check out and they had charged us 72USD.

Side note: I was overcharged for one of the nights,

Many are not aware that the guys outside wearing taxi vests and carrying taxi signs are rouges that charge up to $20 more for the $33.00 US (approx)run into Santiago.

but please ensure that you check the price before the journey as you are likely to be overcharged which when foreigner visit a country.

We had an early morning flight so we did not use any of the hotel amenities.

Really convenient before your early morning flight or after an exhausting journey - literally 3 minutes walk from flight checkin.

Our domestic flight was in early morning so we did not have to get up early. 4.

You can't beat a hotel attached to the airport terminal when you're there for one night to catch an early flight.

They start breakfast at 5am which was very useful as on our last stay we had an early flight to catch.

You can't beat the closeness to the airport, very handy in particular when you have an early flight or want to avoid demonstrations.

It is very convenient and safe for the tourists getting on the early flights.

Obviously very convenient for airport as within a minute’s walk of the airport so works well if you have an early flight.

Just across the street from the airport, if you need to be close or have a early flight as I is the place to be.

We spent one night at the Holiday Inn at the Santiago airport, which was a good idea since we had a very early 6:20 am flight to Calama the next morning.

This was a great hotel for over night to catch an early morning flight, quiet and very clean.

but convenient option if you have a long layover or early flight.

The price was  expensive (I guess they have a “captive audience”)

but on the downside it is very expensive,rooms are merely ok,the hotel need better maintenance,it is not equipped with usb in the bedrooms and tho the service was ok ..many on the front desk struggled with english

At the rates the hotel charges for its breakfast this is totally unacceptable.

However, it is not worth $17 USD so only would eat there, if included in your room.

Way better than the one in Vitacura, which is out dated and expensive to what it offers.

Hotel failed to explain to me that a breakfast pack is available if your breakfast is included in the rate and you have an early flight.

However, their room rate is not so attractive!

Unfortunately, we booked this for a quick layover when Australians still had to pay the reciprocity fee.

the night fee is quite salty as it’s a 3 star hotel.

but had rebooked at a slightly better rate before cancelling.

In terms of prices and if time is available one may consider picking another Hotel to safe costs.

So had to go to the bar to pay an extortionate amount for a small bottle of water.

Our planned quiet night not was not so ;-)
I did have to deal with my Australian partner asking everyone why he had to pay an entry fee/tax because he is an Australian citizen and Chile is the only country that makes him pay it!

A little pricey for the room and restaurant,

Rooms  are clean, great size and the staff excellent.

Our room, the restaurant and all the outer rooms were spotless.

The food is good and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

I was planning on a 5 star review based on location, size, cleanliness of room, and the exceptional customer service from Christian on the front desk.

Great staff and really nice spacious quiet clean rooms.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, the room was very clean, quiet and comfortable, and the food in their restaurant was good.

Location was excellent, check in was quick and our room was clean and spacious.

Rooms are clean and a good size while food & beverages are great.

We stayed in the hotel twice with full satisfaction, good noise insulation, comfortable beds and clean rooms.

but the staff had no clue what was going on, food service was slow and our room looked out onto a building site.

but sometimes they ran out of things and were rather slow replacing them.

Only negative was the check in process- too slow & more staff are needed at critical times.

If it's what you need, you won't be disappointed, except perhaps from the slightly slow internet speed.

They call me at 9 am to remember to check out and encourage to be early (normal checkout is noon, not  before noon) and also the checkout process was slow and not an express checkout for IHG members.

The air conditioning is rather noisy even at slow speed (and was required given outside temperatures).

Check in was a bit slow because of a lot of people checking in.

Check in late Saturday evening was slow and tedious ( the only reason for not giving five stars).

The location is great for both sightseeing (it's at the base of Cerro San Cristobal) and eating (there are restaurants in every direction).

The room and building are elegant & full of character and the location was great right next to Cerro San Cristobal and in easy walk of Bellas Artes.

The human interaction at this boutique hotel at the foot of Cerro San Cristobal was simply wonderful and breakfast in the balcony, while watching Santiago wake up, priceless!

This hotel is located in a bohemian area of Santiago close to cerro San Cristobal and near to metro, which makes a good location for moving easily to most attractions on Santiago.

It is located in the heart of the Bella Vista neighborhood, close to lots of good restaurants and nightlife, and also to attractions such as La Casona (Neruda's house) and Cerro San Cristobal.

Within easy walking distance is also Pablo Neruda's house and museum as well as the funicular to the top of Cerro San Cristobal.

It is well situated in Bellavista, near the Cerro San Cristobal and a host of restaurants and shops.

A couple of blocks from the Cerro San Cristobal Funicular.

It's one block from the must-see tourist stops of Cerro San Cristobal and La Chascona, just a few blocks from the subway/bus station which gives access to the entire city, and nestled within the beautiful Bellavista neighborhood.

Close to transport and a stones throw from Cerro San Cristobal as well as La Chascona.

The Hotel has a perfect location for us - it is pretty close to the Plaza Bellavista, with good restaurants; not so far from a subway station (Baquedano, walking distance), great view and close to the Cerro San Cristobal and La Chascona.

The hotel's location is ideal in the heart of Bella Vista, at the base of the Cerro San Cristobal, one of Santiago's main attractions and just steps from restaurants, bars, theatre and nightlife.

The Castillo Rojo is walking distance to La Chascona museum and the tram that goes to the top of Cerro San Cristobal with its breathtaking views of the city and Andes.

Market and Cerro San Cristobal are easy to reach too.

Our room was very nice and had a wonderful view of cerro san cristobal.

The hotel is 2 blocks from the Casa Pablo Neruda, 4 blocks from the Cerro San Cristobal, 2 blocks from The Patio - a neat assemblage of restaurants and shops and 1 block from the Pio Nono nightlife.

The hotel was in a great location - right in the heart of the Bellavista neighborhood, making it walkable to restaurants, bars, and Cerro San Cristobal.

Furthermore, the hotel is surrounded by plenty of restaurants and pubs and at walk distance from Cerro San Cristobal Park.

The location could not be any better - easy walking distance to the Bellavista nightlife and dining, the Metro, the Plaza de Arms, and the Cerro San Cristobal.

The Cerro San Cristobal is a few blocks away as is Pablo Neruda's house.

By the way, there's no elevator, so you might need to haul your things up a few flights of stairs.

There is no elevator, so prepare yourself for the stairs,

For historic reasons there is no elevator so request a lower room if you have issues with stairs.

Downsides, it is a historic building and they can't put in an elevator, so it is a lot of stairs.

The lack of an elevator could be an inconvenience.

but have modern touch

-Location is close to all things touristy
-Rooms are small
-No view from the room (unlike some hotels which have beautiful view of the mountains
-Shower was tight and strange configuration
-No elevator (and no help to take the luggage up or down--waited for 15 mins and had to bring the luggage down.

There is no elevator so we must give thanks to Diego, who carried up our luggage.

There’s no elevator so be sure to request a room that reflects your physical ability.

Being a heritage building thee is no lift

but be aware that there is no elevator so a room that high up involves some stair-climbing.

If you have a disability make sure to let the staff know as  there is no elevator.

The staff were extremely helpful with suggestions as to what to see and also schlapped our bags up to the room - there is no lift.

One caviar to consider is that this hotel does not have an elevator and there are no rooms in the first floor.

though the room is quite small and there is no lift to reach the room at the 3rd floor, it is a great hotel to stay!

The only negative is that there is no elevator and we were on the third floor.

No elevator as this is an old character building, so reasonable fitness required.

They made me feel like I was home with some friendly and smart neighbors around me.

Located in a neighborhood filled with theaters and cafes, you could walk to parks and museums easily.

Loved this old home ("castle") in charming Bellavista neighborhood of Santiago.

Sebastian was extremely helpful in recommending places to go in the neighborhood.

The neighborhood was an easy walk to the city center without being in the hustle and bustle.

The room was nicely appointed, with the caveat that it is a retrofit from a residential home, so there are some work-arounds that have to be allowed for.

Beautiful facility is a walkable neighborhood.

The neighborhood has many wonderful restaurants, and it was easy to get to other parts of the city.

The location is in the lively Bellavista neighbourhood.

We just spent two wonderful nights at Castillo Rojo in the Bella Vista neighborhood in Santiago

The hotel was centrally located, very clean and comfy, and everyone who worked there was so helpful and kind

A fabulous, charming, small hotel perfectly situated in the Bellavista neighbourhood.

I felt safe and had a wonderful stay in a clean and Unique room, comfy bed, with a nice neighborhood view. The Hotel is not as "Disney" as it appears in the photo :)

The tree-lined neighborhood Bella Vista, with its restaurants and shops, is a nice respite from the more urban sections of Santiago.

Bellavista is my favorite neighborhood, full of great restaurants with outdoor seating.

Our room was on the third floor with a view of Bellavista neighborhood, the windows were solid and room was quiet.

It is in a great, lively neighborhood with plenty of restaurants nearby and right next to the Pablo Neruda house!

It is in a great neighborhood that has so many restaurants within walking distance.

The BellaVista neighborhood offers many eating and cafe opportunities; is a 10 minute walk to nearest subway.

There are lots of great restaurants in the area, particularly in Patio Bellavista.

Close to everywhere ; teleférico, patio bellavista, 15 minutes walk for Santa Lucia and surrounded by restaurants and bars.

Were able to get out and walk for lunch and to change money at Patio Bellavista (about 1 1/2 blocks from hotel).

but I noticed most people go to Patio Bellavista down the street, or the various restobars in the area.

It is also close to patio Bellavista which can be noisy over the weekends

In addition, the location is simply brilliant as it is in the center of probably the coolest, most lively neighborhoods in Santiago with Patio Bellavista down the block and great restaurants and bars all around.

The location is superb, and right near Patio Bellavista where there are many wonderful restaurants and bars.

Great location as it is just a short walk to the restaurants, bars and shops of Patio Bellavista and the funicular.

Stumbling distance to fabulous restaurants, including the restaurant's own 'Cabildo', Peumayen Ancestral Food and short walk to other great eating options, including loads in Patio Bellavista.

Located in the Barrio (neighborhood) Bellavista, it is a great location to check out on your arrival as it is within walking distance to many restaurants and shops (Patio Bellavista is 5 minute walk), and the funicular at Cerro (hill) San Cristobal.

The location is convenient with Patio Bellavista over the road and San Cristobal Hill a couple minutes walk away.

This boutique hotel is located in the Patio BellaVista area of Santiago.

The location is perfect, nearby Nerudas Santiago home, also a short stroll from Patio Bellavista and all the cafes/restaurants shops on offer in this neighbourhood.

We were only about a 5 minute walk to Patio Bellavista which is a cool open area with nice restaurants and bars.

although rest of room clean and very nice.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

We were warmly welcomed and shown to a balcony room which was clean and near to the guest lounge which offers complimentary tea, coffee, water and light snacks as well as a wine tasting hour each evening.

The rooms were spotless, the cooked to order breakfasts were delicious.

but the personality is big. The rooms are clean, the areas has some great restaurants, the metro is a 10min walk away, the staff is super helpful and friendly (especially Lily who took some of her personal time to walk me through how to see the local’s must-sees in Valparaiso and Santiago, how amazing!)
