I disagree with another Reviewer, the hotel staff DO replenish the buffet breakfast.

Breakfast was well stocked and good every morning.

The spa and delicious complimentary breakfasts are nice touches, too.

Natale and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and breakfast was yummy.

The free breakfast was good and just what was needed before a day of yomping up hills.

We had a superior room with two large terraces and fantastic mountain views; really cosy room and comfy bed; lovely breakfast; and the staff are wonderful, especially Stefano on the front desk.

Rooms were great, beautiful woodwork, clean, well appointed, excellent breakfast daily.

A beautiful fresh breakfast is also included every morning.

The views were fabulous, the location is great, the room was quite large (the balcony gigantic); the staff so warm, welcoming, and helpful,  a bountiful breakfast, and great parking right on site .

Breakfast was included in the room rate and was a buffet with a good range of food.

I can’t say enough good things about the buffet breakfast with meat and cheese variety, eggs, lots of pastry, yogurt and fruit salads.

There was some construction outside the hotel as Cortina is preparing for the Winter Olympics

Recent reviews had said there was construction on either side and while the sites were visible, I must have gotten lucky with timing because there was no active construction going on during my visit.

The hotel is wedged between 2 buildings under construction.

There is some road noise and there is currently construction ongoing around the hotel.

however due to such a noisy room and the fact that breakfast wasn't topped up once it had ran out (even with an hour remaining), I must rate this hotel as poor.

Thought the breakfast was quite poor and rooms lacked air-conditioning, I will recommend this hotel.

Our only complaints would be the poor WIFI reception and noisiness in 1st and 3rd floor rooms (we ended up moving rooms in the middle of our stay).

Only one thing, wifi in the room was poor, so I had to go to the lobby or a breakfast room to use internet fast.

The only too things that bothered us (other than bathroom quickness, see title) is a faint wooden odor, and poor sound insulation (we could hear people in the corridor, as well as our neighbors).

The hotel is in a great location for skiing (the ski bus stops directly at the hotel) and is only a 5-minute walk from the city center.

We recently stayed at Hotel Natale for two wonderful weeks on a family skiing holiday.

Rooms are very cozy and we had the luxury of having two balconies -  luxury to sit in the balcony after skiing and enjoy the sunshine.

As we were skiing every day the most important thing was the breakfast and the shower.

Yes we would stay there again if we returned to Cortina perhaps get a bigger room if you intend skiing and have lots of gear.

Everyone was so helpful with tips on where the best skiing and hikes were,they also made us up a sandwich boxes for the bus back to Venice,which was really good,as we had to leave before 8am.

We used the spa for one evening, it's a worthwhile extra expenditure (only 14 euro each) to relax after skiing, especially given that you have the area to yourselves for two hours.

All up, a wonderful week's holiday, skiing prang notwithstanding!

The lovely restaurant area is available to be used by guests who wish to bring their own food to the hotel, which is a great facility to have after a tiring day of skiing with children.

We stayed at the Hotel Natale on a short skiing break and it was perfect for our needs.

If you are in Cortina for skiing, it is highly recommended to bring/rent a car!

but the snow was best at Cortina since the slopes on top are so high (early April skiing with NO crowds).

The hotel is on a main road so there is constant car noise.. if this annoys you then you better ask for a room with mountain view and in the middle (with not sides to the main street).

This is a biker friendly hotel, which is good to know, as we tour on our motorbike quite a lot.

We were met by the most friendly and professional staff.

The Inghams staff were brilliant throughout, really friendly, always smiling, efficient, sorted out a lesson problem right away with no quibble.

The team at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful and reps Sean and Jack were excellent.

Food was either good or excellent (and I am quite fussy), and ALL the staff without exception were excellent- helpful friendly and professional.

but the food offering was poor on two fronts.

Fast forward 60 years from its 1950s and 60s heyday and few should be bothered about missing out on a trip to Cortina, a resort of fading grandeur, poor mountain infrastructure and questionable customer service in its second rate mountain restaurants (Col Druscie an honourable exception).

Overall the management of the hotel are poor.

Service and cleanliness was very poor, in marked contrast to the previous year.

Some first gen, LED or simmilar lights create poor, blury ligtning.

The service in hotel was very poor ,  breakfast option varied with each person you asked.

One very poor thing was the free WiFi which is shockingly bad, not just because of the low bandwidth

The only weakness was the poor showers and terrible internet connection.

However the resort is let down by poor transport and infrastructure between slopes/pistes.

Although Mother Nature did her best to disrupt our stay in terms of mega snow, poor visibility and lift closures.

The management and staff work hard to assist us with any matter and the only downside was the poor internet reception which tended to drop out a bit.

The furniture is oudated and  needs a change, the bathroom was tiny,  and the breakfast was very poor.

The staff were really attentive, we met lovely people and had great skiing, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definately go back, thank you to everyone xx

As far as the skiing went – everyone enjoyed the runs especially the Sella Ronda and the Olympic downhill routes.

In fact, I’d go so far as to say it was the best food in an Inghams chalet that we have every experienced – good food is such an important part of a skiing holiday so very well done to the new chef and kitchen team for reacting to the recent reviews!!

It is a great chalet hotel for a ski holiday if, after a day's skiing, you like to be able to spend time in a comfortable lounge enjoying tea and cake.

The skiing was better than I had expected even for good skiers and of course the Dolomites are stunningly beautiful.

In the film The Talented Mr Ripley, Jude Law and Phillip Seymour Hoffman torment Matt Damon with the prospect of a winter’s skiing in Cortina.

It’s beautiful, it’s full of lovely people, great food, wine and has links to some fantastic skiing.

Cortina can be praised for the maintenance of it's runs under trying conditions - very very little snowfall, -despite this good skiing was had.

The skiing is a little spread out and perhaps a little limited compared with the resorts enjoying direct access to the Sella Ronda.The weather during our stay was terrific, blue skies every day and ,perhaps for a ski holiday, a little warm,

Cortina is a spectacular resort and the free minibus helped us to get the most out of the slightly disjointed skiing.

So to summarise sorry to those who got sick as you probably missed out on the good skiing , would recommend Cortina for mixed abilities or groups as easy to get around, good ski schools and well groomed pistes.

For skiing, the Dolomites is a brilliant, wide quiet slopes, would return to the resort.

Cortina is lovely and skiing around the Dolomites is great - beautiful scenery, empty pistes and great restaurants on the slopes.

Cortina is pretty with great shopping and we had some fabulous winter hiking and skiing.

Despite this we had some great skiing in Cortina and the Sella Ronda, a trip that I would highly recommend.

but to be honest I have no complaints, our room was fairly spacious and the bathroom had a bath/shower, so you could have a great soak after a day of skiing.

but quite fun and very comfortable, after a day's skiing.

The star of the hotel: definitely the staff and manager  (thank you Francesco!).

Lovely friendly staff, room was lovely, with massive bathroom, comfy bed and spotlessly clean, great location in the middle of the town, it also has a few parking spaces for residents only.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful in finding a solution for storing our baggage we could not take on our hike.

April 18th 2019 had a fantastic time, the Inghams team were fabulous!

The staff - who were always highly rated in previous reviews, were upbeat and seemed to be very happy to help everyone.

but honestly we were amazed at how well we were looked after and how the staff really went out of their way to accommodate the twins and provide them with a totally magical Christmas> All the Inghams staff were lovely, always smiling and happy to help, really kind to us and especially the children, we truly had a fabulous holiday.

The registration desk is wood and makes you feel like you are in a chalet.

The hotel has lovely sitting areas and is in a perfect position in the town.

Our room was fine, slightly larger than expected and the hotel's location is great for the town.

Wednesday was the staff’s day of so we headed into town which is literally on the hotels doorstep for a very reasonably priced pizza.

It's a pretty town full of fur coats and immaculately dressed locals - I felt out of place carrying my skis through the town.

The hotel is ideally located for strolling around the town, which is beautiful (but somewhat lacking in après-ski type life).

We had no balcony, yet I don't think we missed anything, as the views are stunning from anywhere in the town.

Stayed week feb 2016 with Inghams, good position in town,  ski bus stop opposite.

The hotel itself was in a super position right in the heart of the town.

The hotel is kept very warm, staff are extremely good in all respects, Cortina is a lovely town and there are miles of pistes to choose from.

The town is pretty with many designer shops.

There was a balcony on each of our rooms and we could look out upon the beautiful church/bell tower with the mountains behind.

Possible to sit on the balcony for breakfast and watch the square right in the centre of Cortina.

We had a room with a balcony which is very nice when you want to catch some rays away from the crowd.

Two rooms had balconies which overlooked part of Cortina, and the other room had a great view of the mountains.

On the superior room there was also a balcony included.

Both rooms we stayed in had lovely balconies with views of different areas.

We had a great room with a balcony and the staff were terrific.

We had two adjacent rooms with a connecting door on the top floor with a balcony overlooking part of the city and the mountains.

We loved sitting out on the balcony for breakfast.

The interior of the room and balcony were all wood.

It was just as great as the fist stay, with the bonus that our room, on the top floor, had a balcony with amazing views of Cortina and the Dolomites. It's hard to believe that this hotel is not more expensive than it is; the location is literally steps from the heart of Cortina, the family who runs it are incredibly friendly and laid-back (told us to just wheel our dirty bikes through the lobby to the bike storage room!)

Now I've got to take action through my credit card to get my money back.

He told us we could not charge our phone here.

Wifi: small charge of 2 euros for our 3 day stay.

Traveled with my little dog, no charge for her.

Only downside was that the wifi had a small charge (which was per-device as well), from memory I think it was E2 for the stay.

Pity they charge a small fee for internet access

Breakfast is sufficient, one of the weakest we have come across and none has ever charged extra for a carton of yogurt!

Adriano and family were very friendly and helpful.

As ever the staff are super friendly, the location in the centre of town is incredible and the prices very reasonable.
