The receptionists were so helpful and friendly and the rooftop terrace is a real bonus to enjoy a late digestive :-) the room was very comfortable and large.

We recently stayed 2 nights at the Panorama and were delighted by the location, staff and the facility.

The hotel has a fantastic rooftop terrace with amazing views over the the bay _the spa is also well worth a visit _finally the reception staff are exceptionally polite and helpful  also the breakfast service was good too highly recommended

The reception operated 24 hours a day and every one of the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great holiday.

People at the desk are highly unfriendly (cold welcome, no explanation, in fact no nothing).

At the 2/9 coming back from the beach around also ~7pm, feeling a bit cold, I decided to make myself tea.

Other members of reception staff remained cold and aloof throughout our stay.

All the “hot” food was cold (the lamps were not keeping it hot).

Breakfast is cold, scrambled eggs sat in an unheated container left to go cold.

They gave us stale chips and charged 8 EUR for a cold toast, and did not agree when I told them it was old.

but she would not refund me so i had to stay. it was a very upsetting stay at a hotel that had cold breakfast was not kept warm and the hotel had at least 70 cameras all over the hotel which made you look like you was being watch all the time.4 euros for water at dinner with no complaints process at all i will robbed.if you look at my large amount of reviews most all good one word (shocking)

but we used it twice towels cold water provided.

We went down at 9.15 (finishes 10) and all the hot food bowls were near on empty, not refilled and the majority of it was cold - I mean fridge cold.

It is true the two lifts are a little maddening and it's hard to explain the pattern with which they arrive, many times bypassing the floor you were on to go to another floor and sometimes taking ages with no rhyme or reason and on two mornings the hot food - bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs and potatoes were stone cold, and one I gave up waiting for sausages and bacon to be replenished and had something else instead - that could be improved with hotplates BUT .

Cold mushrooms from a can, strange overcooked scrambled eggs and lukewarm tomatoes.

I don't recommend.they change the towels after 3 days.we had in the room ants.the breakfast is very poor.for 3 days they give us the towels pour beach after they say no because if we go out from the hotel we will pay a fine.the most of the personnel there they are very cold I speaks unfriendly even if a speak very good italienne.

The breakfasts were just appalling - there was no service, the choice was very poor and the few cooked items available were always cold.

What was missing perhaps was the local accent - yes, they had a bit of the local cold cuts

There's a swimming pool which is apparently pretty cold - we sat around it

The only bummer was that the jacuzzi was not heated and as cold as the other pools.

We have just come back from an amazing stay at the Hilton Double tree in Olbia, the staff were really helpful and friendly.

When we asked the poolboy if we could reserve a sunbed for the next day, he told us no because the sunbeds were reserved for the management.

Asked for food late afternoon from bar menu before going to the Airport was offered a tasteless toastie or advised by staff to go to McDonald’s which was not in walking distance, this was not the staffs fault it was hotel management.

Two times I asked at reception desk, nothing has changed.

At exactly 7am, we asked again and were told to wait as the restaurant wasn’t open yet.

If we are being really picky, the rap music being played at the pool was at times too loud - another guest asked for it to be turned down a couple of times - and the content quite offensive (we aren't prudes

in advance we asked for rooms on a high floor and we had to fight with the hotel so that they would take us from first floor to high floor and it was very unpleasant to see the behavior of the receptionist and her manager when we left the hotel We told them that next week we expect to receive a room on a high floor and they promised us,

her answer was this was against the law even so i did contact the reception on this before i bought it down she said i should leave the hotel i asked for the money for another hotel

One morning when I asked for a bowl, the waiter was very rude to me.

I requested a dish and cutlery to take with me up to my suit as my wife suggested we´d need them for breakfast,

Requests for air to be fixed were unsuccessful (repairmen was not available as it was weekend).

After a while of talking and with carabinieri we asked to calm down, in the idea that I could not leave the hotel because the wife is in the first months of pregnancy.

Unfortunately we were not offered anything in exchange for the caused inconvenience (although we explicitly asked).

When my husband asked for an Irish coffee (on the bar menu) he was told there was no cream on two nights running.

I gave it 2 stars because of the attitude and unwillingness of the front desk staff to help, they refused simple requests like extra glasses for the room.

Pros:

- Good food in the restaurant.

However the star of the stay was their concierge Sofia.

All of the staff members that my colleagues and I encountered were very pleasant and helpful.

He was kind, funny, exceptionally helpful and speaks perfect English.

Went for a long weekend to lie by the pool and pool closed and no water and we were sent by taxi to another hotel which was in the middle of no where with a nice pool

The bar shuts at 11pm with no night bar or room service facility.

The hotel has more plusses than minuses - such as charging guests for bottled water from the room when there is no indictation that payment is required.

The shower was strong with powerful water pressure.

The room was large, modern clean and well maintained, my only complaint was that the bathroom tiles get very slippery once the shower has been on as the water doesn’t drain.

There is a mini bar with stil and sparkling water which is charged at 2.50 euros per bottle (small).

The water dispenser would be empty for days without replacement.

Our car hire was closed and the taxi queue was huge so I rang the hotel to see if they could help, Marco went above and beyond and jumped in his car and picked us up.

The only issue for us was that in October, much of the surrounding area have closed for winter and so somewhat limited eating options

Being late in the season many restaurants in the town itself were closed,

but once we closed our door we heard basically nothing.

We stayed at Villa Margherita from 18th to 22nd October and the resort and the hotel closed down around our ears.

but we were disappointed to find that the hotel restaurant had closed for the season.

The road outside the hotel was closed except for access every evening between 8 and 12 for a market so we got a bit lost, not helped by us arriving after dark.

All the staff were very attentive, friendly and made our stay so enjoyable.

The staff went about their work efficiently and in a friendly manner - Marco has an excellent team working for him and also dealt with our needs personally when we spoke with him.

Arrived early and our room was ready, all the staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was a large range of hot and cold,very tasty, pool and Jacuzzi were lovely, great position next to the promenade, easy access from Olbia airport, lots of lovely beaches neatby, all in all thoroughly recommended.

The beach bar along the beach only charges 30euro !!

The downside and reason for the 3* star rating is that it radiates a cheap feel if you have to exchange towels for an old plastic card and if you lose either, you should pay some outrageous amount for old, overly used and frayed towel.

Left the hotel with an additional 12 Euro tourist tax charge and mixed feelings.

Only down side was that as our room didn't qualify for tea making facility, when we asked for it, were charged 15 euros per day, a little exorbitant I would suggest, particularly as we had our own tea bags!

I just don’t want to manage towel and card count on my vacation. 3.

but beware catch of the day is charged by weight a sinle fish can be 60-70 euros.

even though we travelled with our daughter (we were charged for her stay).

The fact that EUR 30 are charged for an umbrella and two sunbeds on the beach - yes this is mentioned on the website - is nonetheless irritating and not common practice in hotels I have stayed in before.

Our main issue was the charge made of 30 euros per day for use of the hotel's private beach!

I missed this “extra charge” in the details before booking (was it there?

They were charging three times what we paid in a supermarket for a bottle twice the size.

although clean and presentable lacked the modern facilities of phone charging etc and the dark furniture looked a little tired, otherwise this hotel would truly earn 5 stars.

It all looks pretty tired and not up to its 4 star billing.

Use of hotel beach - hotel charges €10 pp per day for hire of a sun bed, and €10 pd for an umbrella.

There was no charge for the sunbeds while we were there,

but whereas they were charging 25 euro for an acceptable Cannonau, the same product was available for less than 8 euro in the local supermarket!

Never any problem getting a lounger at the pool and beach towels are provided for a deposit (this can be placed against your booking card).

but I understand they start charging for these at the end of June.

Wifi is not free of charge in the room  (in the lobby is for free)
You have to pay (10euros) per sun bed per person per day!

although felt the charge for sun loungers cheeky- €10 a day for one person meant we clocked up €120 over the week. .!

Each day, the friendly housekeepers would return at multiple points to bring extra fluffy towels.

Very friendly and helpful staff (reception and cleaners especially).

The staff is very professional and friendly, the service is great, the food delicious and the room we had (comfort suite) was spacious, nicely decorated, very clean and with direct access to a gorgeous pool.

As others have said, the staff are incredible - friendly without being in your face.

We couldn't have asked for more at this hotel - the reception was friendly and attentive, being early for check-in we were provided breakfast by the pool, our room overlooked the sea and was comfortable, our meals were excellent, service was efficient, the ocean was clear and blue, the beach socially distanced and private, all COVID rules regarding mask wearing and room sanitization was respected.

and within 5-15 minutes walk of several good restaurants in Golfo Aranci (recommended by the hotel who have a great concierge service). The best ones included:
- La Pecora Viziosa (delicious Neapolitan pizza)
- L’ostrica ubriaca (modern seafood - don’t miss having your desert or a drink up at the sky bar with a view of the whole bay)
- Gente di mare (elegant seafood right on the water’s edge with very friendly service)
- Lo Scorfano Allegro (big portions of lovely Sardinian food right on the beach)
- Agriturismo Sa Mendhula (a 15 min taxi ride away, delicious traditional food - go hungry!)
