Both rooms were spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated.

The rooms are immaculately clean, the en suite bathroom is sanitized well, the buffet breakfast is quite good for Italian hotel standards with hot scrambled eggs, delicious mushrooms, soft boiled egg, tomatoes, cold cuts, hot beverages such as espresso, capucchino, americano coffee, tea and cold beverages such as different juices and milk, cereals, yogurt, different breads, etc.

Our room was clean and large for our 10 days.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and our room was comfortable and well set out.

Also, the room was clean and nice and quiet.

People at the desk are highly unfriendly (cold welcome, no explanation, in fact no nothing).

At the 2/9 coming back from the beach around also ~7pm, feeling a bit cold, I decided to make myself tea.

Other members of reception staff remained cold and aloof throughout our stay.

All the “hot” food was cold (the lamps were not keeping it hot).

Breakfast is cold, scrambled eggs sat in an unheated container left to go cold.

They gave us stale chips and charged 8 EUR for a cold toast, and did not agree when I told them it was old.

but she would not refund me so i had to stay. it was a very upsetting stay at a hotel that had cold breakfast was not kept warm and the hotel had at least 70 cameras all over the hotel which made you look like you was being watch all the time.4 euros for water at dinner with no complaints process at all i will robbed.if you look at my large amount of reviews most all good one word (shocking)

but we used it twice towels cold water provided.

We went down at 9.15 (finishes 10) and all the hot food bowls were near on empty, not refilled and the majority of it was cold - I mean fridge cold.

It is true the two lifts are a little maddening and it's hard to explain the pattern with which they arrive, many times bypassing the floor you were on to go to another floor and sometimes taking ages with no rhyme or reason and on two mornings the hot food - bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs and potatoes were stone cold, and one I gave up waiting for sausages and bacon to be replenished and had something else instead - that could be improved with hotplates BUT .

I don't recommend.they change the towels after 3 days.we had in the room ants.the breakfast is very poor.for 3 days they give us the towels pour beach after they say no because if we go out from the hotel we will pay a fine.the most of the personnel there they are very cold I speaks unfriendly even if a speak very good italienne.

The breakfasts were just appalling - there was no service, the choice was very poor and the few cooked items available were always cold.

What was missing perhaps was the local accent - yes, they had a bit of the local cold cuts

There's a swimming pool which is apparently pretty cold - we sat around it

The only bummer was that the jacuzzi was not heated and as cold as the other pools.

Bacon was always burnt and the food was always cold.

When we check in and we asked to the swimming pool, they told us the pool is cloed.

Always going the extra mile, no matter how small the request!

Since they did not mention any upgrade at the check-in, I asked if anything was possible

She was not happy that guests, including us wanted to sit in the part that overlooked the beautiful pool and even asked one man to move when he had already sat down with his breakfast!

It seemed perfect sense to her that a person would revenge like that just because someone asked him to put a mask, as if in this more than 7 floors building with I don't know how many rooms has only one person that cleans rooms.

When we asked the poolboy if we could reserve a sunbed for the next day, he told us no because the sunbeds were reserved for the management.

even though we asked more than once for it to be fixed.

Asked for food late afternoon from bar menu before going to the Airport was offered a tasteless toastie or advised by staff to go to McDonald’s which was not in walking distance, this was not the staffs fault it was hotel management.

Two times I asked at reception desk, nothing has changed.

At exactly 7am, we asked again and were told to wait as the restaurant wasn’t open yet.

If we are being really picky, the rap music being played at the pool was at times too loud - another guest asked for it to be turned down a couple of times - and the content quite offensive (we aren't prudes

in advance we asked for rooms on a high floor and we had to fight with the hotel so that they would take us from first floor to high floor and it was very unpleasant to see the behavior of the receptionist and her manager when we left the hotel We told them that next week we expect to receive a room on a high floor and they promised us,

her answer was this was against the law even so i did contact the reception on this before i bought it down she said i should leave the hotel i asked for the money for another hotel

One morning when I asked for a bowl, the waiter was very rude to me.

I requested a dish and cutlery to take with me up to my suit as my wife suggested we´d need them for breakfast,

Requests for air to be fixed were unsuccessful (repairmen was not available as it was weekend).

After a while of talking and with carabinieri we asked to calm down, in the idea that I could not leave the hotel because the wife is in the first months of pregnancy.

Unfortunately we were not offered anything in exchange for the caused inconvenience (although we explicitly asked).

When my husband asked for an Irish coffee (on the bar menu) he was told there was no cream on two nights running.

I gave it 2 stars because of the attitude and unwillingness of the front desk staff to help, they refused simple requests like extra glasses for the room.

On the positive, the toiletries are Crabtree and Evelyn and everything was very clean in the room, the hallways and the common areas.

And the room was so clean just like the hotel.

The room was large, modern clean and well maintained, my only complaint was that the bathroom tiles get very slippery once the shower has been on as the water doesn’t drain.

There is a mini bar with stil and sparkling water which is charged at 2.50 euros per bottle (small).

The water dispenser would be empty for days without replacement.

but it’s so poor that it’s not even worth connecting outside of the main complex which I personally found very frustrating.

I think it's poor that you have to pay for water (you can't drink the tap water) considering how hot it is.

I read the poor reviews before booking so expected the ?bleach stained carpet in the hallways and the bed cover that looks like it’s seen better days.

Pool facilities were dirty, food was poor with no plates or cups, no clean towels, room had a water leak in ceiling, charge to have clean pool towels, broken sun beds, no lifeguard at pool.

After complaining to the General Manager, Geovillage  wrote and I quote 'but, despite your blackmail about the impact of the poor review on Tripadvisor' he would only give a little more than 1 night's refund on accommodation!!!!

Bed was hard, telly was from the 70's and was a nightmare to fathom out ( so we gave up ) wifi was poor,

We left on Tuesday morning with no sign of life to the air con system, and pitied any following poor guests having to try to sleep in the heat.

The reality is that it's a poor buffet, for salad you have canned mais, 2 types of lettuce, tomato and cucumber, even at a fast food restaurant you'll find better salad option, and the salad is not kept cold, fresh cut vegetables should be kept under 7°C

And so is the rest of the Buffet,  poor in choice and quality and food is not kept at the mandatory temperature.

Housekeeping is poor (don't clean the bathroom daily except to mop the floor).

Breakfast was poor and the omelette and it tasted like cardboard.

For the different restaurants you have to make reservations, we did not (came in late) and therefore had to have dinner outside (only 16 Celcius and a lot of wind) Service in the restaurant is very poor, people work here because they have to.

We found the Internet in the rooms to be quite poor

They are in very poor condition and the word "clay" should only refer to the color.

Although the staff are lovely, we had poor and inefficient services.

Dirty, poorly equipped, poorly maintained and simply not worth staying at any low budget cost.

I paid 109 euros for 2 persons on half board including , listen to this, a one and a half hour spa offer in their indoor wellness swimming-pool.

Conclusion: staying at this hotel for such a price was a nightmare.

This can get expensive when the kids need constant refuelling and cooling in the scorching heat.

but I would put it at a 3, we knew what we were getting when we paid a cheap price, just disappointing really.

but a shot of vodka to add to your drink was 3 Euros, as well as a separate sprite being 3 euros, so the prices were very confusing, but we just went with the flow.

The duty manager claimed he never said he would pay for the taxi!

Had booked a holiday through my RCI at a resort 30km away and it was so bad we upped and left and paid to come here WOW this is what i was expecting from the start and this lived up to and beyond my expectations
On arrival we were checked in efficiently and quickly and the staff spoke and understood English ( a far cry from our initial hotel !!)

Would highly recommend hiring a car if you’re staying here and wanting to explore as taxi’s are ridiculously overpriced.

As I had essentially paid for another room we asked if we could take that instead (I have never in my life asked to switch rooms) with which we were obliged.

If you don’t you are very cut off from anyway and the only food served in the hotel is very expensive.

The restaurant next to the pool was expensive, almost 20 euros for each main course.

Hotel is literally 10-15mins away from the airport, taxi’s are expensive and would cost about €25-€30 euro for a pretty short journey.

Considering the price on an island like sardena the hotel is ok - maybe not 4 stars.

Sadly unless you are prepared to pay over £500 per night for the 5 star luxury, Geovillage then becomes value for money, if you have a rented car to escape for the day.

Jazz Hotel

Our car hire was closed and the taxi queue was huge so I rang the hotel to see if they could help, Marco went above and beyond and jumped in his car and picked us up.

The only issue for us was that in October, much of the surrounding area have closed for winter and so somewhat limited eating options

Being late in the season many restaurants in the town itself were closed,

but once we closed our door we heard basically nothing.

We stayed at Villa Margherita from 18th to 22nd October and the resort and the hotel closed down around our ears.

but we were disappointed to find that the hotel restaurant had closed for the season.

The road outside the hotel was closed except for access every evening between 8 and 12 for a market so we got a bit lost, not helped by us arriving after dark.

The hotel was wonderfully clean and the rooms were bright and airy.
