The entire staff is extremely nice and helpful, breakfast great and the rooms very comfortable.

The Breakfast was good with plenty to eat, especially the local hard cheese which was tasty.

The breakfast isn’t good unless you want a coffee and pastry, everything else looks terrible.

Probably the best aspect about The Jazz is the service - all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and doing very well in coping with the extra stress of providing sit down breakfasts with Covid restrictions.

Especially Fabio with his morning breakfast service poolside service and amazing dinners he was great.

In opposite, Jazz hotel offers large modern rooms, a restaurant with elaborate menu, a big local wine list and a fantastic breakfast menu.

The a la carte restaurant attached to the hotel for breakfast and evening meals was superb.

The breakfast was the only meal who was worth the money because lunch and dinner was extremely overpriced for the medium quality, a simple pasta lunch for two people cost us 120 euros.

We don’t mind paying a price for alcohol

Please note in two j stances the driver went 20 minutes in the opposite direction to drive a member of the staff home before turning around and dropping off paying customers.

Experience to forget and the hotel should close, hope nobody will spend anymore money for absence of service,

really is not the € 60 we spent is the incompetent personal they have at front desk, because if we could not find a nice person to call a taxi for us, probably we were spending the night outside in a promenade at Porto Cervo.

Bottom line: do not waste your money at this hotel.

Note I'm 'display' - because for the money that everyone leaves there, at least they could try and showcase some kind hospitality.

but I would not recommend this hotel as having visited other, more beautiful parts of Italy, I think it is not worth the money.

After spending over 23,000.00 euros on accommodations, lunches, dinners, cocktail reception and beverages at Grand Hotel Poltu Quatu I'm shocked, as of today July 13, 2018, I have yet to hear back from this hotels Director/General Manager Mr. Anes Fejzagic by phone or email to address problems experienced during our stay?

Food and drink is overpriced which I don’t mind paying at all if you’re getting 5 star service.

We feel that this hotel is not value for money It is very expensive

Much depends on how little you expect for your money and how impressed you are about pretension over substance.

We were not made aware of shuttle to nearby beaches until our return to Australia which was disappointing as we would have used these instead of paying for very expensive taxi rides and beach chairs instead.

Restaurants in the hotel are by far over priced, if you want to stay and eat and drink here you will pay a lot of money, we had a car hired for our stay so we ventured into the small towns, the pricing is 1/3 of the prices at the resort and you are still getting great quality food and supporting the local economy not the hotel.

Spending 220 euros per night for a "mountain view" room is actually an ugly looking rocky wall.

Surely, as paying guests at a quality hotel we should get the same service despite the time of year.

but if I were paying in peak season I may have grumbled).

We don't mind paying more when you understand what it for.

The hotel and local taxis are expensive (it cost us €30 each way for about a 7 minute car journey) so you're much better off if you have a car when visiting, for ease of seeing the local area (we did have a car

We therefore ended up self catering in the room, as the only option was the eye wateringly expensive fine dining restaurant or a drive out to a local restaurant.

Don’t expect a private balcony if you book premium double - you may have the swimming pool right in front of your sliding doors and therefore have to keep the curtains shut for the entire stay like we did.

but in the evening nobody there due to expense of drinks.we would have used the hotel more but didn't due to prices.another concern was the restaurant around the marina were average food but charged five star prices .taxis and trips were expensive for short distances and different prices everyday.

Although we paid ‘high season’ prices, very little on the hotels complex was actually open for another 2 weeks, so eating, drinking and shopping options were very limited or non existent!

Well, I suppose if I owned a mega-yacht I might not notice the exorbitant prices,

We got a cab to Porto Cervo one night, beware they are pricey.

Its very expensive out there 2 small glasses of red wine cost £54.

I stayed here in May 2022, throughout the entire stay we were all severely disappointed with the quality of the service given the prices we were paying to stay there.

The room is nothing special, not what you expect from a 5 star property and what they make you pay per night.

Taxis needed to be booked several days in advance and there is a individual lobby to handle taxi requests.

He refused to leave the room after being asked to get out several times.

We asked them if we should park there again and they told us to park in the same spot THEY originally parked us in when we arrived.

The hotel staff is just terrible, rude and they have an excuse for anything you complain about. They’re super slow, one night we asked for a bottle of water (yes, they do not even manage to refill what it’s finished in the room!!!)

We asked for an iron - oh no, can’t do - health and safety!

Worst and terrible experience was after dinner we asked the girl at front desk if we could go out and have some drinks at Porto acervo, a place called Zamira Lounge.

Asked for mini bar to be removed on 3 occasions, not done.

They failed to provide answers or help to the smallest of requests.

Bad points, Rooms Division Manager ignored specific request of a ground floor apartment needed by a client with mobility issues, which was discussed 3 months prior to arrival by phone.

We asked to speak to the hotel manager several times, we told them that we were leaving the next day

Even the so called 'complementary drinks' we were asked to pay for, despite having explained to various staff members at reception, this was not corrected, and we were followed to our car upon leaving, and asked to settle the bill, which we again had to explain.

We also asked for a restaurant reco and they gave us something that was overpriced, weird and not a good ambiance.

The second reason is they lost my car the first night that I was there and it took them almost 30 mins from the time that I asked for my car to the time that it was brought up front.

Requesting for help for hiring a Bike - the staff said 'yes we will sort it'

I again had to approach the front desk and ask for it to be fixed 3.5 hours after the initial request  and my air conditioning is still not fixed I am waiting and it feels like a sauna.

In this case there was no interest at all in our observations
Also the hotel is situated off the main road to and from Porto Cervos which is 4 km It is a dangerous road so it is unadvisable to walk We asked the price of a taxi and were told it was 30 euros each way The nearest supermarket is 2km

Anytime we asked for restaurants recommendations or beaches the answer was impossible or we have to hire a car to get to them; where in fact when we asked friends who are living in other hotels and who’s been to Porto Cervo they informed us that its so easy and simple to do so.

They asked her to pay a fee to be in the room and called the room non-stop until she would agree to pay a fee and give them her passport!!

Having reached reception, we asked for the manager - nowhere to be found or seen.

Breakfast is ok, the hot food tasted lukewarm and it would have been good to have more fruit available.

The breakfast was excellent and lots to choose from.

Special amongst them was Mario, the gentleman who works at the restaurant and breakfast.

Breakfast is continental and OK with large choice.

They had a wonderful breakfast buffet and their dinner menu was very good as well.

Breakfast was delicious everyday and I dined in the restaurant one night for my fiancé 's birthday and they were so sweet and brought him a small pistachio cake and sang happy birthday.

The breakfast was really good and all the staff were so friendly, special mention to Mario who encouraged me when practicing my Italian and kindly gave us two books about Sardinia’s history and beaches!

The major drawback of this property is quality of food and opening time of their restaurant (my colleague ordered a pizza for lunch and described it as inedible).

Breakfast was great - omelets made to order and something for everyone.

The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and the staff were so kind especially Piero, Benedetta, Sergio, Andreas and another young lady whom I did not get her name .

We had to depart before breakfast on the last day and were provided with a carry out bag, it suited us just fine.

The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff serving the buffet were pleasant and helpful.

The food was of a high standard and I loved the freshly made ham and cheese omelettes and wonderful coffee at breakfast.

People at the desk are highly unfriendly (cold welcome, no explanation, in fact no nothing).

At the 2/9 coming back from the beach around also ~7pm, feeling a bit cold, I decided to make myself tea.

Other members of reception staff remained cold and aloof throughout our stay.

All the “hot” food was cold (the lamps were not keeping it hot).

Breakfast is cold, scrambled eggs sat in an unheated container left to go cold.

They gave us stale chips and charged 8 EUR for a cold toast, and did not agree when I told them it was old.

but she would not refund me so i had to stay. it was a very upsetting stay at a hotel that had cold breakfast was not kept warm and the hotel had at least 70 cameras all over the hotel which made you look like you was being watch all the time.4 euros for water at dinner with no complaints process at all i will robbed.if you look at my large amount of reviews most all good one word (shocking)

but we used it twice towels cold water provided.

We went down at 9.15 (finishes 10) and all the hot food bowls were near on empty, not refilled and the majority of it was cold - I mean fridge cold.

It is true the two lifts are a little maddening and it's hard to explain the pattern with which they arrive, many times bypassing the floor you were on to go to another floor and sometimes taking ages with no rhyme or reason and on two mornings the hot food - bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs and potatoes were stone cold, and one I gave up waiting for sausages and bacon to be replenished and had something else instead - that could be improved with hotplates BUT .

I don't recommend.they change the towels after 3 days.we had in the room ants.the breakfast is very poor.for 3 days they give us the towels pour beach after they say no because if we go out from the hotel we will pay a fine.the most of the personnel there they are very cold I speaks unfriendly even if a speak very good italienne.

What was missing perhaps was the local accent - yes, they had a bit of the local cold cuts

She was not happy that guests, including us wanted to sit in the part that overlooked the beautiful pool and even asked one man to move when he had already sat down with his breakfast!

It seemed perfect sense to her that a person would revenge like that just because someone asked him to put a mask, as if in this more than 7 floors building with I don't know how many rooms has only one person that cleans rooms.

When we asked the poolboy if we could reserve a sunbed for the next day, he told us no because the sunbeds were reserved for the management.

Asked for food late afternoon from bar menu before going to the Airport was offered a tasteless toastie or advised by staff to go to McDonald’s which was not in walking distance, this was not the staffs fault it was hotel management.

At exactly 7am, we asked again and were told to wait as the restaurant wasn’t open yet.

If we are being really picky, the rap music being played at the pool was at times too loud - another guest asked for it to be turned down a couple of times - and the content quite offensive (we aren't prudes

in advance we asked for rooms on a high floor and we had to fight with the hotel so that they would take us from first floor to high floor and it was very unpleasant to see the behavior of the receptionist and her manager when we left the hotel We told them that next week we expect to receive a room on a high floor and they promised us,

her answer was this was against the law even so i did contact the reception on this before i bought it down she said i should leave the hotel i asked for the money for another hotel

One morning when I asked for a bowl, the waiter was very rude to me.

I requested a dish and cutlery to take with me up to my suit as my wife suggested we´d need them for breakfast,

Requests for air to be fixed were unsuccessful (repairmen was not available as it was weekend).

After a while of talking and with carabinieri we asked to calm down, in the idea that I could not leave the hotel because the wife is in the first months of pregnancy.

Unfortunately we were not offered anything in exchange for the caused inconvenience (although we explicitly asked).

When my husband asked for an Irish coffee (on the bar menu) he was told there was no cream on two nights running.

I gave it 2 stars because of the attitude and unwillingness of the front desk staff to help, they refused simple requests like extra glasses for the room.

The room was large, modern clean and well maintained, my only complaint was that the bathroom tiles get very slippery once the shower has been on as the water doesn’t drain.

There is a mini bar with stil and sparkling water which is charged at 2.50 euros per bottle (small).

The water dispenser would be empty for days without replacement.

I read the poor reviews before booking so expected the ?bleach stained carpet in the hallways and the bed cover that looks like it’s seen better days.

Pool facilities were dirty, food was poor with no plates or cups, no clean towels, room had a water leak in ceiling, charge to have clean pool towels, broken sun beds, no lifeguard at pool.
