load more ... - It’s expensive
- No complimentary water in the room, just overpriced Evian to purchase which felt tacky for a 4.5* hotel. We arrived during Fleet Week weekend and it was so crowded on the street with sketchy people and men on motorcycles riding sidewalks (!)
- The biggest disappointment was the cheap, rock-hard mattress.
- She insisted that I pay the $200.
- Parking is a bit expensive,
load more ... - With Fleet Week (first in two years and only one nationwide this year), the crowds, the road closures, and San Francisco’s notorious lack of parking would have made the trip horrendous.
- Parking is a bit expensive,
- Parking a bit expensive
- The price is high and there are significant add-ons including expensive parking,
- Just expect to pay $65 per day for parking and don’t carry anything valuable on you.
load more ... - The hotel itself is very luxurious.
- We have stayed in several luxury hotels in the city, and this one really takes the win in terms of location.
- The room was extremely big and equipped with every luxury you could wish for.
- Best location, perfect room, confortable, with everything you need to feel the luxury, helpful staff and great food at restaurant, Concierge services at will and around the corner the classic Buena Vista Cafe.
- This gave the space a very institutional feel rather than that of a luxury hotel room
load more ... - I sent in my credit card authorization form (which to everyone reading, any employee can steal your card information with these as these are just documents with your card numbers, billing information and full name) because their "system was down".
- there is coffe in the room with little packets .the 10 credit a day at the restaurant.
- Other than the fact that it's near fisherman's wharf, the rooms are really tiny and there are so many things that they charge for extra.
- If you are going to charge a mandatory fee, why on earth is it not included in the room rate?
- On leaving they waived our resort charges due to the situation (which was a help as we had to pay extra for early flight) we obviously experienced Fishermans Wharf in the worse time
load more ... - I have stayed here 4 times over the last few years during my annual vacations to San Francisco.
- First visit to San Francisco.
- This is our go-to hotel whenever we travel to San Francisco.
- The Argonaut Hotel is a great place to stay while in San Francisco.
- About 20 minutes pass, I receive a call from the hotel and I stated that I was at work (I'm a consultant for the City of San Francisco) and I would have to give a call back.
load more ... - (The bike across the Golden Gate Bridge was a lifetime memory, we will relive that for a long time! Thank you for sending us to blazing saddles, the comp for the bikes, and recommending we do it!)
- Our room was a garden view room of the GG bridge.
- We had a view of the bay and Golden Gate Bridge.
- N/A
- It was on the second floor, with a view of the bay and the golden gate bridge.

- Located steps from Fisherman's Wharf and Lombard Street an ideal location for sightseeing and close proximity to many wonderful restaurants.
- Easy walk (or scooter) down Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square is around the corner, short walk to Lombard Street.
- but were able to walk to Chinatown, Lombard Street, Oracle Park, Hyde St. Pier, Pier 39, ubered to Golden Gate Park, and were able to rent e-bikes (at a discount, as Argonaut guests) to bike across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito.
