 - I used points for a low floor room, and was very excited to be upgraded (using "Suite Nights" which I have also been awarded) to a Junior One Bedroom Suite on a high floor with a City View.
 - Reserved corner king room “with city view”.
 - I asked for a room with “city view” and was situated in a corner room with a view of the surrounding skyscrapers.
 - The rooftop bar is not to be missed; 360 degrees of beautiful city views, comfortable seating, and a luxe decor.
 - Although this hotel does have one of the city’s best views on the top door from “the Bar VIEW”.

 - The service was spot on at the Front Desk and from all of the associates we encountered in the hotel.
 - Spent four days here for my first in-person conference in 20 months, and while I appreciated the strict Covid safety compliance, and loved rejoining my colleagues, this hotel itself is inferior.
 - Having seen the view I would choose just about any other Marriott property when next in San Francisco.
 - I want to give this hotel a 3.5

 - but if you have mobility issues, request a room closer to the elevators.
 - The cons: this is a huge hotel and it was a comically long walk to get to the elevator > room > anywhere else.
 - Also, never saw anybody cleaning doors, elevators, etc.
 - The only thing I can say are the rooms are a bit boring and my walk from the elevator was surprisingly long. The lobby and valet area also get crowded (due to the nature of the hotel being enormous)
 - - to fill in the silence when the elevators aren't running.

 - So no evidence of construction the rest of weekend!
 - Front desk guy was welcoming. Cons: CONSTRUCTION.

 - I just stopped here for the night, the room was okay, the only window looked out to walls on nearby buildings - hard to avoid in a built up area i guess.
 - The view from our room was of mostly walls over other rooms windows with a small dirt area with debris in it.
 - Walls are thin, so expect city noise and guest activity to wake you up occasionally.
 - He could not just change out the malfunctioning TV because the are hardwired to the wall.

 - We had a high floor with a city view which was good.
 - The hotel was so charming with real Art Deco wood through out (they are redecorating) gorgeous city views, plenty of valet parking, amazing food, made a difficult time so much better.
 - room had a nice view of the city and bay in the distance.
 - Our upgraded corner room on the 31st floor had a wonderful view of the city and the Bay.
 - She even found us a room with an amazing view of the city.

 - The hotel location is steps away from SF MoMa and the luxury shops around Union Square.
 - This property is pretty strange - at face value it looks super nice and luxurious and the price reflects this.
 - While the lobby is very nice and luxurious, there is a rude awakening upon entering the room.

 - 143$ 2 nights parking with tax.
 - The cost to park at the hotel is outrageous!
 - Room was your average room you could've paid $50-$70 a night for
 - Really expected a nicer room for the price.
 - We were denied the bay view room we'd paid for, being told with a straight face that a SW-facing room had a bay view (its opposite from the bay) and it was the best they could do, despite sparse occupancy and reservations made two months in advance.

 - Parking charges are steep.
 - they made me charge my card and hold the additional room charge until the payment was resolved (when there was nothing to be resolved cause it was paid for).
 - I can understand having key card access at night
 - My card was declined and they had security at my door harassing me twice in 20 minutes.
 - I asked him what amount he was charging my card and he didnt even know of hand.

 - Be prepared for $80+ parking per day and if you are a Hilton Honors member, don't expect benefits.
 - $80 a night to park at this hotel, that is a cart of groceries, ridiculous, plus the hotel needs updating.
 - The hotel it self was jam packed and parking our vehicle took an hour as they only offer valet.
 - DO NOT make the mistake of letting them park your car.
 - Valet parking for two cars totalled over $200!

 - The hotel is located on the edge of Union Square, and basically occupies the full block between Cyril Magnin, Eddy, Ellis and Mason Streets.
 - Hotel is conveniently located to Union Square and the wharf.
 - Great location, a block away from a shopping mall and few from union square.
 - There's about 2-3 blocks before you are TRULY in the Tenderloin, and there are many hotels between this one and there.
 - The famous tolley station in San Francisco starts a block away from the hotel.

 - We found Suite 3207, as the rest of the hotel, to be very quiet.
 - The hotel itself is in a good location, it’s easily accessible and there is a wide range of shops and restaurants just a stones throw from the hotel.
 - The design of the hotel is very interesting and I would call it 80's-esq
 - safe property close to many desirable locations, all within walking distance.
 - Good day, In my original review, I mentioned my dissatisfaction with the fact that hotel refused to reimburse me for the early departure.

 - It was one week prior to my stay and they refused to refund the cost of the room.
 - The "Breakfast to go" is limited options for the price.
 - San Francisco is pricey no doubt,
 - but a staff member chased us out of the dining area because he said only guests who paid for buffet could sit at dining tables.
 - however, disappointed that breakfast and fresh cookies were not offered as part of the room rate, as so many other Hiltons do.

 - As usual, there was a changing art exhibit in the upper-lobby.
 - From the second we arrived at the property the staff instantly created a negative and unpleasant atmosphere.
 - though I don't know anything about architecture.
 - Room, furniture and bathroom are dated and are in need of a face-lift.
 - Only issue is the rooms are dated and tired.

 - Great location, a block away from a shopping mall and few from union square.
 - You're also steps away from Market Street (with the Muni busses/streetcar), 1 street over from the Powell Street cable car station, and 2 blocks from Union Square.
 - The best location you can get around Union Square close to all the shopping and great restaurants in downtown SF, unfortunately the rooms are a back to the past experience, old furniture, super old beds, extremely old bathrooms.

 - All the luxury of a 5 star hotel with a feel of a boutique hotel.
 - We went all out for a luxury Sunset Suite for Pride 2018.
 - It was sparkling clean with two well appointed rooms, a luxurious shower, and a view to die for.
 - N/A
 - When walking inside the hotel it feels very luxurious and the stuff very professional and helpful.

 - Steps from Westfield Shopping Mall with great food court and Walgreens.
 - The hotel is very closely to the Westfield shopping centre, and close to the most Western point on the tram line to get to the Eastern pier district.
 - Located virtually in heart of CBD and only short distance away from Union Square & Westfield Shopping Ctr the hotel is great place to stay.
 - Speaking of Mall, Westfield Shopping Center is a 2 minute walk, DSW and Nordstroms Rack are also within a 3 minute walk.
 - Westfield Mall is across the street with plenty of places to eat and both the trolley and BART stop right across the street.

 - I bring my own sound machine
 - No noise issues that high up.
 - but the entrance side noise level from delivery trucks and homeless until well after 3am in the morning doesn't allow for much sleep.
 - When we book we requested a room in a quiet area of the hotel — guess what they put us across from the lifts!!!
 - Only small complaint is it’s quite noisy (we were on the 10th floor too) with street noise at all hours (but that’s big cities for you).
