 - Bell people are great as was the airport shuttle driver.
 - They do have an airport shuttle and we had a $10 credit to use each day at the bar which was nice.
 - If arriving by Amtrak, hotel is 2 blocks away, and hotel has free shuttle to airport.
 - The shuttle from the airport was very helpful, service was wonderful (thank you Anthony!
 - They have a good amount of services even in COVID (e.g., the airport shuttle, breakfast downstairs in the lobby, etc.).

 - Guess what, no $10 credit so dealing with accounting on that for five days.
 - There is also a destination fee, which is not charged until you get to the hotel that is $25.
 - There IS late check out if you're Platinum and they DO have an early check in charge as well as a $25 resort fee.
 - The hotel is offering a $15 per day credit that can be used at the cafe or bar.
 - So I’m trying to understand the need for charging amenity fees for your platinum members.

 - They even held our luggage for us until our room was ready the first day, putting our cold items in a refrigerator and the last day when we had to check out
 - We flew in from the cold Minnesota winter.
 - brrr to cold for me.
 - Which can be a real shock when it's cold.

 - And, if you are bringing little ones, the cottage room is a little home away from home with a small kitchen area (no stoves though) for food prepping complete with plates & utensils.
 - but they brought us a microwave.

 - She remembers me from year to year as "the vegan", greets me with her warm smile, and takes care of me at the company breakfast and lunch buffets, pointing out which foods are vegan or getting something specially prepared for me from the kitchen.
 - Merely a casita with kitchenette, living space and very large bathroom with jetted tub and separate dressing area.

 - Our room had a beautiful bay view!
 - Great views of the bay especially at night.
 - Location is beautiful with scenic bay views and easy access to all of Coronado Island via shuttle or car.
 - The last thing I wanted to mention was the view, as a native San Diego girl I’ve seen the skyline on the bay my whole life
 - I had a bay view room with balcony overlooking the bay.

 - Had a couple milestones and management recognized with a status upgrade part of the time and a $25.00 Food and beverage credit.
 - But didn’t stop them from charging the ludicrous $40 resort fee.
 - I was not charged for it despite the website stating a $15 fee), and definitely free for those with Bonvoy status.
 - Well, I never received the upgrade, and in spite of this, the hotel still billed me.
 - After complaining, we were given a $100 credit.

 - Basically, right at the foot of the Coronado bridge, beside the beaches and bike paths, and a short walk to the ferry landing and the free shuttle stop, there is no better place for lodging on Coronado.
 - We stayed for 2 nights in a 2 bedroom cottage suite overlooking the bay & coronado bridge.
 - Great location plenty of activities and sightseeing , great view of the city light , and the Coronado Bridge, the service is excellent and atmosphere and friendly staffs, we love our stay and don’t mind if we could stay longer Great job guys !
 - It started with the open-air seating, the breeze from the ocean, the sailboats and view of the Coronado bridge in the background, the striking sunset.
 - Relaxed atmosphere, beautiful view of Coronado bridge and bay.

 - the only concern I really had was that across the bay there was construction happening and was fairly loud when outside.
 - The Hotel del Coronado is under construction, so we opted to stay elsewhere, yet close by.
 - This property is not well insulated from noises because of its older, wood frame construction.
 - One side of hotel is under construction and will be fantastic when it is finished.
 - The construction is mostly done,

 - We ate at least ten meals — breakfasts, lunches, and dinners — out on the beautiful patio restaurant overlooking the Coronado Bay Bridge and the San Diego skyline.
 - San Diego is my wife and I’s favorite vacation spot as there is so much to do and see.
 - Dining alfresco with a very cool breeze coming off the San Diego bay, the heaters kept us warm.
 - I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Diego, whether they were exploring Coronado or the city!
 - Pros: The Hotel is near the water with a great view of San Diego.

 - Unfortunately, there were too many negatives for us to rate this property higher or stay again.
 - Pro : near @ restaurant & nice view Cons: room are old For the price is lack of service for example housekeeping , bellman , valet , meet with the rude front desk glad manager able to fix it Service are slow .
 - There is indoor self parking - not cheap and of course annoying resort fee.
 - For this price, we probably won't stay there again.
 - But didn’t stop them from charging the ludicrous $40 resort fee.

 - They ended up giving us our room credit back and we did get some kind of take out delivery breakfast in the morning.
 - Watch out for fraudulent charges.
 - We were supposed to get a $15 a day credit to make up for the limited breakfast services.

 - There are a lot of hotels in San Diego to choose from,
 - The Marquis has always been my go to staycation spot in San Diego.
 - Marriott needs security on the property and the city of San Diego needs to clean up the homeless issue.
 - It’s at the harbor in walking distance to a number of activities and downtown San Diego.

 - This hotel is in walking distance to the famous Gaslamp district.
 - The tropical theme, designer pool, tequila bar and stumbling distance to the gaslamp district make this a regular stop for my wife and I.
 - stayed here for a conference, ideal location right by gaslamp district close walk to many restaurants in the area.

 - After five levels of that, I found the garage was full and had to park in an open lot behind the hotel anyway!
 - Just raise your rate or at least let it be used for parking.
 - The San Diego Symphony was held on Friday-Sunday and there were a lot of people using this garage for parking, Our room (King City View 18th floor) was your typical room - nothing fancy at all.
 - The parking was a bit pricey at $45 overnight and $40 a day for guests.
 - Paid top dollar for self parking, they made us park in conference parking far away because self parking garage was full.
