 - Ordered from bar to go as room service never answered phone.
 - To make it worse, I had to call them after checking out because they charged me for my room when it was fully prepaid.
 - He would not look at photos of our ID on our phones, or try to locate Kimberly, or to the room with us to let us in and get our ID.
 - If I. was flying I'd use a mobile boarding pass or do it at the airport - stop charging me for things I don't want or. need!!

 - The Pendry is very centrally located, and you can get to where you need to go within one to two blocks (at least for me when I'm there during conventions).
 - The location is also perfect as it is in the middle of the Gaslamp district so you are within walking distance of other restaurants, shops, a few blocks from the convention center, Petco Field and a CVS right across the street.
 - It is very easily accessible to the airport or freeway pending if you are flying or driving in (also very conveniently located to the San Diego Convention Center if that is the nature of your visit).
 - The location is great - walking distance to conventions and in the heart of downtown.
 - Two block walk to trolley and trains, an extra block to the Convention Center.

 - Close to Gaslamp, convention center, harbor, and trolley stop.
 - Close to the airport, rental car places, Petco park, convention center, and all of the hot spots in the Gaslamp district.
 - This year, for the trade show in San Diego I thought it would be fun to try the Hard Rock Hotel since it is so close to the convention center and it was Superbowl weekend.
 - In San Diego for a convention and exhibition at the convention centre which was a 5 min walk!

 - Spent the weekend at the HardRock hotel in San Diego and everyone was amazing from the valet to the check in and all the staff.
 - Hotel is okay
 - I stayed here because of the hotel's proximity to Petco Park and boy was it "proximate"! LOL
 - All of these were minor and I would recommend this hotel to everyone if you come to San Diego.
 - The Hotel is within walking distance of everything that interested us.

 - What’s more laughable is being charged daily for valet and now having to walk into a parking garage where guess what, I have to pay every time I leave my hotel .
 - When checking out the following morning, we were told that the $50 credit didn't apply at the Float Bar and that we could only use it at Mary Janes.
 - The hotel charges for internet, water bottle, “resort fee” even if it doesn’t have the basic (a robe in the room or an umbrella to loan).
 - They also charged my card twice clearly in error.

 - There was an in room coffee maker with free coffee, a bar if you wished to purchase from it, free internet access, etc.
 - They have a fully stocked mini fridge we treated ourselves to and in the morning enjoyed getting ready with the fantastic sound system in the room.
 - If you stay and do not use the mini-bar, I would recommend taking photos as you leave and show it to the front desk at checkout as we noticed many other reviews with this same feedback.
 - The room was huge , I loved that I could stock the fridge with my own snacks.
 - After I returned home, I had a $7.76 mini-bar charge on my final bill.

 - It was disappointing to pay so much for what was advertised as a luxury suite for our anniversary only to be in a subpar room.
 - Overpriced for nothing .
 - No smart TVs, cold showers, swimming pool was a joke, weren't allowed to sit on lounges at pool until 2pm, this was at 130pm, we were willing to pay, they didn't want our money, it was odd, and the place never really filled up.
 - I went up to the bar to pay my tab and got yelled at so disrespectfully I actually responded back and all the guards escorted me out saying I wasn't aloud to defend myself or talk back to him.

 - The supposed "Tommy Bahama" bath products smelled really, really bad.
 - No heavy perfume smells anywhere.
 - My biggest complaint was the the smell.
 - We had one hiccup during the week with someone smoking on property and contacted the front desk to see if they would be able to find where it was coming from because it was coming into our room and was making sitting on our balcony very unpleasant.
 - but the hottub was over the top on chemicals, and irritated my wife's neck quite a bit.

 - When we are in San Diego, the Pacific Terrace Hotel will be our hotel of choice.
 - If you are looking for complete luxury and great service this is your hotel.
 - but my son wanted to go back to the hotel to hang out with his friends (the staff).
 - The hotel, staff and facilities I saw were very nice.
 - Lots of great restaurants within walking distance (we searched for more than the hotel’s website offers and loved “Sushi Kuchi”), fun nightlife with colorfully lit up streets, no concerns for safety.

 - Can get a little noisy since it's in Gaslamp,
