Once stayed at deluxe room, drain plug mechanism of bathtub was jammed.

Very recommended hotel to stay

Bad room service process (billing is not ready when I checked out).

Though the hotel did eventually change my room, apologised and waived off the first night's room charge, I felt it was too little, too late.

There isn't any addiitonal charges to use the wi-fi.

Instead of apologizing for their delay in getting back to me, they wanted to charge me a night's stay as per the 'cancellation policy'.

Apparently, there were several events that held at Aston, such as school prom parties, or whatsoever.

Restaurant Dinner: We were a party of 4 adults and two children.

I stayed for 2 nights and didnt sleep well due to loud music from bar on 5th floor.

They have an entertainment centre in the hotel building itself which starts playing loud music post 10pm and that can be heard in the rooms on top of it which might cause difficulty in sleeping for those who are light sleepers.

I also could not understand why they were so afraid of telling the party revelers to keep their volume and music down.

There is a club on the 5th floor, and the music is extremely loud - one can hear it until 3am in the room - so if you're a light sleeper, this may not be the hotel for you. Conveniently located, with couple of restaurants including fastfood chains nearby (should you get enough of the food in the hotel.)

But they carried away all towels in some rooms, we have to call reception,

Staff knocked at my door asking me if I was going to check out followed by a call from the front desk after the first night

although we already use it, and we need to call the room service to get the new one, as a 4 star hotel, this thing should not happen.

My wife paid for the bed and the front desk attendant picked up the phone and placed an order for the bed.

It wasnt too late at night and each person who picked up my call in the lobby didnt even coordinate with each other that I had to repeat my order again and again untul 5 times.

We need to call the IT technician just for to connet the internet.

The staff right from the bell boy to laundry boy to room service attendant to people taking your orders on the phone do not know how to speak basic english.

Oh btw, i have to call 3x and wait for 30mnts to borrow a hairdryer.

however one of the receptionist (possibly supervisor because she was wearing different uniform compared to the other staff) is not smiling at all, the process of check out is taking sometime so my mom decide to sit in the lobby area, this lady instead of go and see my mom she calling my mom behind the receptionist counter which kinda unprofessional for hotel service.

I hounded them via many calls and emails over a period of 3 days, and by then we were already outside the free cancellation window.

I have to call front office to asked ethernet cable.

but the room is not ready, they told to wait for 1 hour.

the coffee shops also sucks, ordering a simple vegetarian samosa only to wait for an ages and don''t even expect for apology (the waitress doesnt even has an idea of what is samosa, I guess) The bathroom is dirty and looks like the house keeping never renew the amenities.

I waited half an hour and they didnt come.

but still wait for 30 minutes during late checkin policy but, they do not confirm to us as the next guest who want to stay at that hotel.

As for the internet cable, I requested one from reception and waited 30 minutes for it, it never showed up and I had a meeting to attend so I left my room.

waiting one man coming from the kitchen and inform me "sorry we are not allowed for packing the breads". Surprisessss.

There quiet a nice bar next to reception and the staff are very friendly and efficient.

All hotel services was just perfect, my standard room was upgraded to superior, the rooms are clean and big enough with good wifi, the breakfast have many choice, and the hotel is well located, walk distance to mall, restaurants and bars.

There's cocktail happy hour everyday from 17.00-19.00 at the bar, so this is really relieving, from hours of road transportation from Balikpapan. ;)

though and the music in the lobby bar of an evening is nice in that it is not overbearing.

I was order through agoda for executive class with large bed, unfortunetaly they just give a double one without tried to give a solution.

The best harris hotel..they let us early check in, very clean rooms, tasty and variety breakfast..best location near Mahakam River and big mall, just stay here and don’t choose anywhere..this hotel is perfect

The issue here is WALKING,,,,,,, YOU CANT (I understand is not the hotels fault)  the big mall is 4 minutes away you would think simple walk NOOOO  first off is not all side walk  and when there is side walk the big wholes so at night you will break your leg.
