Room quite dusty around room / behind doors, beds not made to same standard

As this was the case the glass doors at the entrance to the pool grounds were open and there was some patio furniture right on the other side of the glass doors so we chose to sit there for a few minutes.

Just a suggestion, could there be 1 member of staff who hangs around at 9am after the doors are opened and anyone they see putting towels on sunbeds and immediately going for breakfast tell them that its not allowed and if they dont listen put their towel in a basket.

There were also not enough sunbeds and parasols for everyone, which meant it was complete chaos when the doors eventually opened.

There are nowhere near enough sun loungers and even less parasols, it was like a Black Friday sale when the doors  to the pool were opened.

There aren’t enough beds to guest ratio so people line up in reception from around 8am and then the doors open at 9am.

One tip I’d give is to be prepared for sunbed stampede- the doors open at 9 and there is a mad rush for sunbeds!!

People queue up in the morning for the sunbeds as the doors are locked and the pool gets very busy and loud during the day.

but not if want play water polo there not allowed also massive q for sun beds in morning door open at 9 people q since 8.30 another thing evening entertainment for kids start at 9.30 even do all kids outside running up down since after dinner 8.30 that goes on time 10 them adults shows come on till well after 11 noise racket if bedroom which my one was so close to stage you could not sleep very difficult for families with young baby's so think need up there game with activities for kids .

The food is unreal, I got a sneak peak behind scenes of kitchen whilst door was ajar the kitchen looks like a laboratory,  so clean.

When another room closed their door, my headboard would shake.

The noise (and the real let down of the hotel) from 7:00/7:30AM was absolutely unbelievable though, slamming doors continued all day, running and screaming kids in the corridors, banging of chairs/wardrobes and noise through the walls was insane.

You can hear every door slam, every person walking down the corridors, midnight and kids are running up and down the halls, quite a noisy hotel in general, slept with ear plugs in.

These can fit maybe 3-4 people, 5 if you're lucky (that's without suitcases) and take forever, partly because there's no door close

Then the other noise began, people banging doors and shouting on the corridors.

I was shocked at how they could just come through the door without knocking and it felt as

I’d advise leaving the “do not disturb” on the door, as room service arrived at 08:45, so no chance of a lie in!!

but expected has people wanted spaces by pool maybe let few people out at time has I found being at front of line did you no justice has once doors open people run from the back past you, which was annoying, but this wouldn’t stop me from returning.

As for trying to get a sunbed the situation is beyond belief and needs some urgent attention   with people queing up from 8.00 am ( doors open at 9.00 pm ) , we would normally go down  about 8.50 and were always at the back of a long queue usually going out of the hotel entrance onto the steps.

The morning race for the loungers and umbrellas is a pain, basically you end up queuing at around 8:15 (any later and good luck getting anything) and then when the door opens it is an elbows out race to grab what you can.

Room cleaned every day, housekeeping staff were so lovely and friendly.

Staff helpful and friendly would have a free kettle had to pay 4 euros per day to have one in room went out and bought own milk and teabags, etc.

A cleaner lady approached us and we moved as to let her clean and exchanged a friendly smile.

We were greated with a smile, helped with our luggage, very friendly All Reception staff just couldnt do enough for us especially Esmerelda & Marina.

We found all staff to be friendly and helpful.

The staff were always friendly and helpful.

From the moment we arrived to the last goodbye this hotel was 100%.. Staff happy, friendly nothing was any bother.. food was catered for all tastes even those that forget they are on holiday in a foreign country lol.. 😉 Only issue and to be honest it's not really an issue is its a long way t walk if ya love the beach.. the going there is OK

Like everyone else has written it’s a nice hotel and we had a good time and we found all staff to be very friendly and good at their jobs.

This hotel is amazing you are close to PortAventura and town centre staff are friendly there’s only one bad thing about this hotel is that people are queuing up for a sunbed in the morning as pool doesn’t open until 9 as I do think it’s a disgrace I would ask everyone to go away and have breakfast then go out for a bed as theres sunbeds for everyone to get

It's really impressive as you enter the hotel and all the staff we encountered were really friendly.

The Reception staff, especially Irene, were very friendly and helpful.

The guide was lovely & friendly and it was run very smoothly.

Entertainment was fab, we are family of 2+2 (8 and 14) and they loved it, the girl who does kids entertainment is outstanding - great energy!

She is amazing with everyone especially the Elderly and children.

My wife and I booked a 4 night break for a last munite get away with our 2 grown up sons.

Charlie was brilliant and my son followed him everywhere.

Family rooms are spacious with proper single beds for the children (not sofa or camp beds) and the mattresses/pillows are comfortable.

I stayed for a week half board with my daughter.

The restaurant has a good variety of decent food even for kids.

The other pool was a children's pool in the same area and so the same comments apply.

We even enjoyed the mini disco and baby shark songs!

but our son did take part in the water polo and volleyball a couple of times and really enjoyed it.

My daughter and her friends stayed in your hotel.

Approx £35 return for 2 adults and 2 kids.

They took the time to get to know our children and would come looking for our eldest to join in with the activities.

Our children loved the pick and mix each evening and I was able to take apples out for snacks during the day.

We went as a large group 6 Adults 2 Children (9 & 2).

The hotel is wicked we now will return with the kids in August.

The other toaster is terrible, 4 times for the bread to toast is too long and leads to queues.

the toasters need disposing of, you have to put your toast in 4 times to create toast or its still just bread, as you can imagine this creates a big queue.

In the morning queuing for coffee machine can be a pain due to lengthy queues depending on the time and small cups don't help we ended up having to get 2 at a time.

We usually ate around 8.00pm and did not have  to queue for long for the evening dinner and food was replenished frequently.

but not enough parasols, pool doesn't open till 9am people start queueing form 7/7 30am then it's was a mad dash for parasols with the odd few appearing at almost 9 to make the dash was quite annoying, in 30 years this was my first experience of the queueing business i will doing better research in future.

but when others in the queue confirmed that I did, he insisted I paid for it again!

Sunbed situation not too bad, we never queued, was busy

You have to queue in reception for sun-loungers before the pool opens at 9am.

The pool 1st thing in the morning did have a Queue for getting Sunbeds and I found this quite amusing while having breakfast, we never went to the pool in the mornings opting to do other activities

but I will be back to this hotel 
For anyone that is going to this hotel if u have anyone with disabilities and u are going to PortAventura please bring doctor letters and ID to the park so u can get the disability fast pass to all the rides if u don’t have this you will be refused it when u go up to queuing in the line at the disability desk just a bit of extra advice

There was a queue for sun loungers before the pool opened at 9am and it was the usual story of people reserving sun loungers and not using them for some time after.

Inside seating area not very comfortable at all and lack of staff on the bar at night made queues very long waiting for a drink.

Unless you are queueing for at least an hour before the pool opens at 9am you will not be guaranteed a parasol.

People queueing for dessert and once you get there things had run out - not what you want on holiday!

The only thing I would fault is that there are not enough sun parasols, which led to huge ques from 8 am and a dash to get an umbrella

Entertainment staff were brilliant and very friendly!

We had read some bad reviews about the food and large queues in the restaurant,

Unless you don’t get a fast pass, then you will queue all day to go on two rides.

but at busy times it was a bit hectic and queues to get into restaurant.

The management will just say that there is no need to queue,

The highlight of my holiday was all down to an amazing member of the Animation or entertainment team Elena.

but absolutely no-one went above and beyond, if you didnt greet them then they wouldnt smile or speak and as for the so called entertainment staff, who are they!!

even though we were directly above the outside stage.

The animation team were fantastic, the kids were always super entertained.

The professional entertainment were mostly musicians.

but did love the mini disco every evening.

There seemed to be a lot going on with the animation staff and the evening entertainment,

The hotel has evening entertainment and a kids club with a medium size games rooms.

We didn't really watch any of the evening entertainment.

The entertainment was fantastic- much better than at most places I’ve been to- including 5* places.

We went for theme park view this year due to last years noise from entertainment.

The entertainment was brilliant with everything from Michael Jackson tribute, Queen tribute, acrobats and various dance acts.

On the plus side, it’s entertaining to watch

We didn’t get to see much of the evening entertainment either apart from briefly seeing the Freddie Mercury tribute which did look really good

The Freddie Mercury tribute band were fantastic.

We watched the evening entertainment a couple of evenings.

but the main standout was Elena from the animation team who's energy was electric the whole trip and made our childrens time so magical so we'll be forever grateful never in my 20 years of going to family resorts have I come across someone like her!

The reception is very bright modern, reception staff a pleasure to deal with.

Few newer restaurant staff on 2nd yr who weren’t as customer focussed

The staff at the hotel were very inconsistent.

What can I say Wow a beautiful person both inside and out, she is always smiling.

Good location, walking distance to Theme park,  10 minute walk to beach.

The hotel also had taxis ready for us within minutes of  our requests so it’s very easy to travel to the attractions (water park and theme parks close by).

The Portventura Theme parks  is 10 mins walking distance.

Clean with good food and a brilliant location for the theme parks.

The hotel was big, plenty to do for all, close to shops, theme park was only a walk away.

This hotel is in a great location, a 10 minute walk from the beach and not too far from the theme park.

We did all the parks and would recommend them all, we spent 13 hours in the main Portaventura theme park, it was brilliant.

10-15 walk to theme park and 10 minute walk to beach/restaurants/bars.

however after a chat with the friendly reception team we were moved to a room on the 5th floor overlooking the theme park which was great.

The location is great for the theme parks.

Great hotel in a great location,  10 minutes to theme park & 10 minutes to beach.

Also, go to a shop in Salou that sells the tickets for a reasonable price, don’t buy them at the theme park.

The hotel is a short walk to the theme parks which are worth the visit and a 10 minute walk to the beach and promanade.

hotel location is perfect if you plan on spending time at the theme park and not to far from the shops and beach.

Good location a short walk to resort centre, beach and plentiful bars and restaurants, railway station and theme park.

Now the facilities the out door pool is cold

The rooms where very well soundproofed when the balcony door was  closed.

however wish there was a full length mirror even if it was in the back of the bathroom door or something as you can’t see what you look like going out at night.

but we were basically sleeping next to the door.

but with patio doors closed couldn’t hear the traffic at all.

I was delighted it was this way as I prefer to sleep by the front door.

you could hear doors closing ,people walking, toilets flushing.

Baby pool at the top is where we spent most of our time as our room was literally on the same floor so I spent time outside on the sunbed if my son was in the room and I mean this was literally outside the room door!!!

The main room could be a little noisy at night with people returning to their rooms and slamming doors

you can hear conversations clearly from room to room which unfortunately includes door banging and shouting🙈 walls like paper.

Doors open at 8am to get your towel down on the sunloungers

but the walls are that thin you can literally hear each footstep while people are walking up and down the communal stairs all day and night and every single door slam in the hotel.

He belongs if even that on a door in a niteclub full of teenagers in benidorm.

but let me tell you the maids will have you up and out by 9:15 they didn’t stop banging and opening our door from 8am that morning !!

I Wouldn't have fancied waiting from 7am till 7.55am when they opened the doors.

The hotel could do with looking in to additional sound proofing on the balcony doors and windows.

but they didn’t always work and only available for use at meal times as the doors are closed.

People take all the beds at 8am and queue by the door much earlier than that so those who actually use the pool at around 10am like us can't get a bed despite the fact hardly anyone shows up until lunch.

There are grown men trying to overtake you when the doors open

but there is no pushing and shoving once the doors open.

All of the staff are amazing, friendly and seem happy in their work.

Staff are well trained and most of them were very friendly and helpful.

The staff are so hard working and friendly.

All the staff were so friendly and attentive, from the restaurant, bar, pool, housekeeping, reception - everyone.

Restaurant staff - these guys were always attentive and friendly.

All staff members were friendly and welcoming.

From the nice, tidy and spacious room, through very good swimming pool, good food, friendly staff to a great location, this is really good holiday place to stay for the families.

A friendly family hotel with helpful staff, great food options on the all inclusive buffet.

We were given room 625 which was a two floor duplex and the comfort and space was superb as was the friendly and attentive cleaning staff.

Friendly, good laugh, and always wanting to please.

Reception Area:
The reception area is clean and modern, with friendly and helpful staff.

Staff very friendly especially Engel in the bar.

Very friendly staff, good food,  excellent entertainment for adults and smallies.

They were all friendly, trustworthy and looked like they enjoyed their job.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating.

One thing I would say is that this is very much a family oriented hotel which for us was perfect travelling with 2 children 6 and 9.

Was a lot of activities for kids and adults.

I would definitely recommend this hotel for families with children because it's more geared to that,  kids will love it.

I would say more suitable for younger kids rather than teenagers.

There was plenty of entertainment for children .

The entertainment was fantastic, for kids up to 10pm, adults after 10pm.

The children's club was well organised and there was always something happening for the children.

It had everything we needed which took the stress out of holidaying with a baby.

Room was perfect for family of 4 (kids were in a separate bedroom and we had double bed in living area, bathroom was good size and had bath with shower, and balcony had table and chairs and cables for drying clothes/towels.

Food/buffet has so much selection, there was always something the kids would eat and our 3 year old liked trying lots of new things.

If you have kids and like a full on Butlins type of  environment then this might be the hotel of choice

Always laughing and talking with the kids in and out of the club times as well as getting involved with entertainment during the day and the evening.

We e were very nervous about our first sun holiday with our baby

Absolutelly fantastic Kids Club, kids just don't want to leave it.

The kids entertainment was ok for my 9yr old with a few days where she had plenty to do

Me my dad and three kids stayed here for 7 days, absolutely no complaints whatsoever, we had a grand family suite, air con fab, clean spacious, cleaned, beds made things replenished everyday, staff great food so much choice too much if you ask me, pools lovely not heated

The food was A1, even for the fussy eating boy.

The room was large with air con and loved the second room for my son.

The only moan is that the corridors are really noisy with children constantly running up and down screaming  and letting the children mess with the buffet food, which we didn't like.

Personally, for myself and my husband we would not choose to go there 
as it’s quite noisy at night

So you end up with there kids running all around the bar area unsupervised and parents staggering off to bed with noise not a concern after 11.30pm.

but awful if you want relaxation and a bit of peace and quiet.

The hotel did not get quiet until about midnight which is fine with older children

The beds are uncomfortably hard, and the walls are so thin that you can hear neighbouring guests, including snoring.

Not great with a young baby due to the noise in the corridors throughout the night and early morning.

Maids very noisy in the mornings when getting their supplies.

but we did find it quite small and noisy.

Sometimes the pool area can be a bit loud would be nice if a section was a bit quieter.

though as we did have a view of the main road and they were tarmacing the road most days, so it was very noisy.

but as others have said you can hear people in the corridors very easily.

Can also get noisy as it did during the latter part of our week - you'll hear any rowdy neighbours come stomping down the corridor at 3am, so bear in mind if you sleep light!

but you have to hire it (pricey) 
No iron in room and no hire service ( there is a laundry room in the basement of hotel and they provide a iron and iron board to use there) 
Towels need to be hired 
Floor one is extremely noisy - we asked to be moved after 4 nights of being kept awake until gone midnight when everyone returned to their rooms and entertainment stopped - got moved to floor 4 much quieter.

The Las Vegas show choreographed by the staff is genuinely one of the most genuinely funny and entertaining we've ever been to 🌟 🤩 a

We sat outside most evenings so we could see evening entertainment

Our two enjoyed the kids disco every night.

Lots of entertainment to keep all the family happy

The kids were obsessed with Goldie and Goldina and big dinosaurs 😂 Jesus and Jessica also need a mention on the adult entertainment and in the evenings too.

The reason for this is the newer animation crew.

Just got home and I cannot fault the hotel one bit , food was gorgeous, hotel was clean , entertainment staff we’re just fantastic never been to a hotel like it
