Now the facilities the out door pool is cold

The rooms where very well soundproofed when the balcony door was  closed.

however wish there was a full length mirror even if it was in the back of the bathroom door or something as you can’t see what you look like going out at night.

but we were basically sleeping next to the door.

but with patio doors closed couldn’t hear the traffic at all.

I was delighted it was this way as I prefer to sleep by the front door.

you could hear doors closing ,people walking, toilets flushing.

Baby pool at the top is where we spent most of our time as our room was literally on the same floor so I spent time outside on the sunbed if my son was in the room and I mean this was literally outside the room door!!!

The main room could be a little noisy at night with people returning to their rooms and slamming doors

you can hear conversations clearly from room to room which unfortunately includes door banging and shouting🙈 walls like paper.

Doors open at 8am to get your towel down on the sunloungers

but the walls are that thin you can literally hear each footstep while people are walking up and down the communal stairs all day and night and every single door slam in the hotel.

He belongs if even that on a door in a niteclub full of teenagers in benidorm.

but let me tell you the maids will have you up and out by 9:15 they didn’t stop banging and opening our door from 8am that morning !!

I Wouldn't have fancied waiting from 7am till 7.55am when they opened the doors.

The hotel could do with looking in to additional sound proofing on the balcony doors and windows.

but they didn’t always work and only available for use at meal times as the doors are closed.

People take all the beds at 8am and queue by the door much earlier than that so those who actually use the pool at around 10am like us can't get a bed despite the fact hardly anyone shows up until lunch.

There are grown men trying to overtake you when the doors open

but there is no pushing and shoving once the doors open.

All of the staff are amazing, friendly and seem happy in their work.

Staff are well trained and most of them were very friendly and helpful.

From the nice, tidy and spacious room, through very good swimming pool, good food, friendly staff to a great location, this is really good holiday place to stay for the families.

A friendly family hotel with helpful staff, great food options on the all inclusive buffet.

We were given room 625 which was a two floor duplex and the comfort and space was superb as was the friendly and attentive cleaning staff.

Friendly, good laugh, and always wanting to please.

Reception Area:
The reception area is clean and modern, with friendly and helpful staff.

Staff very friendly especially Engel in the bar.

Very friendly staff, good food,  excellent entertainment for adults and smallies.

They were all friendly, trustworthy and looked like they enjoyed their job.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating.

The only moan is that the corridors are really noisy with children constantly running up and down screaming  and letting the children mess with the buffet food, which we didn't like.

Personally, for myself and my husband we would not choose to go there 
as it’s quite noisy at night

So you end up with there kids running all around the bar area unsupervised and parents staggering off to bed with noise not a concern after 11.30pm.

but awful if you want relaxation and a bit of peace and quiet.

The hotel did not get quiet until about midnight which is fine with older children

The beds are uncomfortably hard, and the walls are so thin that you can hear neighbouring guests, including snoring.

Not great with a young baby due to the noise in the corridors throughout the night and early morning.

Maids very noisy in the mornings when getting their supplies.

but we did find it quite small and noisy.

Sometimes the pool area can be a bit loud would be nice if a section was a bit quieter.

though as we did have a view of the main road and they were tarmacing the road most days, so it was very noisy.

but as others have said you can hear people in the corridors very easily.

Can also get noisy as it did during the latter part of our week - you'll hear any rowdy neighbours come stomping down the corridor at 3am, so bear in mind if you sleep light!

but you have to hire it (pricey) 
No iron in room and no hire service ( there is a laundry room in the basement of hotel and they provide a iron and iron board to use there) 
Towels need to be hired 
Floor one is extremely noisy - we asked to be moved after 4 nights of being kept awake until gone midnight when everyone returned to their rooms and entertainment stopped - got moved to floor 4 much quieter.

Also, we had challenging time with a kid, he had a nausea and sickness, so receptionist helped us with taxi and hospital, so was really nice ‘cause we didn’t know Spanish.

Staff all pleasant, we were in room 603 top floor no issues with unruly guests, tbh we never heard much at all on that level, our balcony was nice as it was in the shade in the afternoon.

The entertainment staff were great and so good with the kids.

The reception staff where helpful courteous.

The waiters all work tirelessly and always with smiles on their faces.

Good clean room, good facilities, nice food and lovely helpful staff.

The entertainment team work SO hard, and were so happy and enthusiastic all the time.

Another really important aspect to note the session we attended an adult with SEN was welcomed and encouraged.

Finally Ariadna the new rep is brilliant, you wouldn’t know it was her first year simply due to her engagement with the kids and adults.

but our special shout out goes to frei who we nicknamed Trent we are coming back in June next year just to see him  , great lad and our little boy loved him see you in 256 days ❤️

The staff at the hotel were so helpful, friendly and approachable.

Staff were amazing, nothing was ever too much trouble and they were extremely friendly.

We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and very swiftly checked in and given the room key in under 10 minutes after arriving about 11:15am.

Shower curtain is disgusting needs replacing.

If the noise from the entertainment hall and people shouting doesn't keep you up the smell of people smoking drifting up to your balcony will!

* most  sun loungers were broken and proper filthy!

What can’t be shown in photos is the smell.

Majority of sun loungers around the pool are filthy and broken with most reserved before the pool opens at 9am

I picked up pieces of fruit that were wet and mouldy because the serving bowl hadn't been dried.

but no pots or pans to use, states on room descriptions the 2 bed apartment has a washing machine but again no washing machine other than the one in the hotel which you have to pay €8 for, Staines see through blinds, wallpaper all scraping off the wall, the bath mouldy and paint flaking off the bath and the stench from the bathroom sink just vile.

This was never picked up on by staff and we are a non smoking family with children, therefor could not relax and had to move several times.

The floor was filthy I asked for it to be cleaned and the cleaner did come and clean again

Foul language, inappropriate behaviour, aggressive behaviour!

but the floor was filthy and couldn't walk bare foot on it as it felt like slime on your feet.

( hair nets should be worn ) 
•Plates had a bad smell to them really put me off eating so I used plastic, They also wasn’t cleaned properly 
•Drinks machine in the restaurant only had water and orange 
•Bottled water should be free as it’s all inclusive 
•The bedrooms were dirty the floors were filthy, we had to keep shoes on or we had black feet 
•The pool was ice cold this is the biggest down fall for the hotel as it would be enjoyable if it had heaters 
•there should be more staff in the snack bar and bar as the ques were silly some days.

Several times during meals he would stand in the restaurant biting his nails, pretty disgusting.

Cons:- Lots of cigarette ends, cups etc lying around the pool area.

Some guests would help themselves to drinks from behind the bar if the bar staff weren’t present, and there was the typical “benefits Britain” type who spent his time asking strangers for cigarettes rather than buy his own from the cigarette machine in reception.

but it was difficult to relax by the pool with footballs flying around and loud conversations and constant cigarette smoke.

It’s absolutely disgusting and dirty, there was NO way i could have stayed with my family.

Stayed here for 7 days, 5 of us stayed at this hotel 3 adults and 2 kids, we booked apartments which were very basic and very dirty, when we arrived there was vomit and blood on bedding.

Wine in the dining room is the most disgusting I have ever tasted - no other alcohol avaialble in there.

There was incorrect information given by the receptionist.

but its been a pleasure knowing all the staff over the years.

staff and kids entertainment was good pool area sunbeds broken had bruised back.

All reception staff, especially Lindsey and hector and children entertainment and Bernard jnr behind the bar were brilliant.

Staff were fine, Carol on reception was just lovely.

Food is nice snack bar is amazing so much choice, burgers, pizzas, chips, onion rings, chicken nuggets, nachos, crisps fruit and on all day pretty much drink selection is good cocktails etc on the all inclusive are good, entertainment team are great and good with the kids always have 3 adult and 3 kids activities on during the day, the night time is a bit slow as the entertainment doesn't start till about 10 after the bingo and quiz

A great hotel being seriously let down by staff who are choosing to ignore selfish idiots!!!

The good: 
- Reception staff were incredibly helpful.

Mauri, Poola and Vanish were so engaging and their enthusiasm was infectious.

The pool area is kept clean and every morning I saw the maintenance guys checking and cleaning the pool.

Family centred holiday, nice helpful staff, sun, playing with your kids can’t go wrong.

The receptionist couldn’t do enough and very helpful.

Room quite dusty around room / behind doors, beds not made to same standard

As this was the case the glass doors at the entrance to the pool grounds were open and there was some patio furniture right on the other side of the glass doors so we chose to sit there for a few minutes.

Just a suggestion, could there be 1 member of staff who hangs around at 9am after the doors are opened and anyone they see putting towels on sunbeds and immediately going for breakfast tell them that its not allowed and if they dont listen put their towel in a basket.

There were also not enough sunbeds and parasols for everyone, which meant it was complete chaos when the doors eventually opened.

There are nowhere near enough sun loungers and even less parasols, it was like a Black Friday sale when the doors  to the pool were opened.

There aren’t enough beds to guest ratio so people line up in reception from around 8am and then the doors open at 9am.

One tip I’d give is to be prepared for sunbed stampede- the doors open at 9 and there is a mad rush for sunbeds!!

People queue up in the morning for the sunbeds as the doors are locked and the pool gets very busy and loud during the day.

but not if want play water polo there not allowed also massive q for sun beds in morning door open at 9 people q since 8.30 another thing evening entertainment for kids start at 9.30 even do all kids outside running up down since after dinner 8.30 that goes on time 10 them adults shows come on till well after 11 noise racket if bedroom which my one was so close to stage you could not sleep very difficult for families with young baby's so think need up there game with activities for kids .

The food is unreal, I got a sneak peak behind scenes of kitchen whilst door was ajar the kitchen looks like a laboratory,  so clean.

When another room closed their door, my headboard would shake.

The noise (and the real let down of the hotel) from 7:00/7:30AM was absolutely unbelievable though, slamming doors continued all day, running and screaming kids in the corridors, banging of chairs/wardrobes and noise through the walls was insane.

You can hear every door slam, every person walking down the corridors, midnight and kids are running up and down the halls, quite a noisy hotel in general, slept with ear plugs in.

These can fit maybe 3-4 people, 5 if you're lucky (that's without suitcases) and take forever, partly because there's no door close

Then the other noise began, people banging doors and shouting on the corridors.

I was shocked at how they could just come through the door without knocking and it felt as

I’d advise leaving the “do not disturb” on the door, as room service arrived at 08:45, so no chance of a lie in!!

but expected has people wanted spaces by pool maybe let few people out at time has I found being at front of line did you no justice has once doors open people run from the back past you, which was annoying, but this wouldn’t stop me from returning.

As for trying to get a sunbed the situation is beyond belief and needs some urgent attention   with people queing up from 8.00 am ( doors open at 9.00 pm ) , we would normally go down  about 8.50 and were always at the back of a long queue usually going out of the hotel entrance onto the steps.

The morning race for the loungers and umbrellas is a pain, basically you end up queuing at around 8:15 (any later and good luck getting anything) and then when the door opens it is an elbows out race to grab what you can.

Room cleaned every day, housekeeping staff were so lovely and friendly.

Staff helpful and friendly would have a free kettle had to pay 4 euros per day to have one in room went out and bought own milk and teabags, etc.

A cleaner lady approached us and we moved as to let her clean and exchanged a friendly smile.

We were greated with a smile, helped with our luggage, very friendly All Reception staff just couldnt do enough for us especially Esmerelda & Marina.

We found all staff to be friendly and helpful.

From the moment we arrived to the last goodbye this hotel was 100%.. Staff happy, friendly nothing was any bother.. food was catered for all tastes even those that forget they are on holiday in a foreign country lol.. 😉 Only issue and to be honest it's not really an issue is its a long way t walk if ya love the beach.. the going there is OK

This hotel is amazing you are close to PortAventura and town centre staff are friendly there’s only one bad thing about this hotel is that people are queuing up for a sunbed in the morning as pool doesn’t open until 9 as I do think it’s a disgrace I would ask everyone to go away and have breakfast then go out for a bed as theres sunbeds for everyone to get

It's really impressive as you enter the hotel and all the staff we encountered were really friendly.

The Reception staff, especially Irene, were very friendly and helpful.

The guide was lovely & friendly and it was run very smoothly.

The other toaster is terrible, 4 times for the bread to toast is too long and leads to queues.

the toasters need disposing of, you have to put your toast in 4 times to create toast or its still just bread, as you can imagine this creates a big queue.

In the morning queuing for coffee machine can be a pain due to lengthy queues depending on the time and small cups don't help we ended up having to get 2 at a time.

We usually ate around 8.00pm and did not have  to queue for long for the evening dinner and food was replenished frequently.

but not enough parasols, pool doesn't open till 9am people start queueing form 7/7 30am then it's was a mad dash for parasols with the odd few appearing at almost 9 to make the dash was quite annoying, in 30 years this was my first experience of the queueing business i will doing better research in future.

but when others in the queue confirmed that I did, he insisted I paid for it again!

You have to queue in reception for sun-loungers before the pool opens at 9am.

The pool 1st thing in the morning did have a Queue for getting Sunbeds and I found this quite amusing while having breakfast, we never went to the pool in the mornings opting to do other activities

but I will be back to this hotel 
For anyone that is going to this hotel if u have anyone with disabilities and u are going to PortAventura please bring doctor letters and ID to the park so u can get the disability fast pass to all the rides if u don’t have this you will be refused it when u go up to queuing in the line at the disability desk just a bit of extra advice

There was a queue for sun loungers before the pool opened at 9am and it was the usual story of people reserving sun loungers and not using them for some time after.

Inside seating area not very comfortable at all and lack of staff on the bar at night made queues very long waiting for a drink.

Unless you are queueing for at least an hour before the pool opens at 9am you will not be guaranteed a parasol.

People queueing for dessert and once you get there things had run out - not what you want on holiday!

The only thing I would fault is that there are not enough sun parasols, which led to huge ques from 8 am and a dash to get an umbrella

Entertainment staff were brilliant and very friendly!

We had read some bad reviews about the food and large queues in the restaurant,

Unless you don’t get a fast pass, then you will queue all day to go on two rides.

but at busy times it was a bit hectic and queues to get into restaurant.

The management will just say that there is no need to queue,

The reception is very bright modern, reception staff a pleasure to deal with.

Good points:  Nice pool, staff all polite and helpful.

Few newer restaurant staff on 2nd yr who weren’t as customer focussed

Really friendly, tried to speak a bit of Spanish to them ‘Hola, Gracias’ etc and they appreciate it I think, amongst a lot of the English ignorance.

Very much 3 star at best! Good points: room cleaned every day with fresh towels, mostly friendly reception staff and something edible at breakfast Including nice bread and fruit
Bad points: coffee awful (sweet or no option), very noisy (street facing room and told couldn’t change), pool area and bar like a bad old holiday camp (didn’t use!)

The entire hotel is kept to a high standard of cleanliness and all of the staff were friendly and helpful especially the restaurant staff and maids.

I came once more back to this hotel and as always we are really happy, all the staff is so friendly and polite, food is OK for being a 3 stars hotel, bar people really friendly, maybe the only bad point is that the pool is really slippery!!
