Food options were good, typical buffet style.

Breakfast had a large range of hot/cold food.

Breakfast was decent and only fussy people will have problems with it.

One hot drinkk included at breakfast time on half board and thats your lot.I stand correct, you could have as many cups as you like

Great level of choice for breakfast and Dinner.

We stayed on a half board basis and could not complain about the food, the meals were buffet and there was a good choice available at both breakfast and dinner.

Breakfast and lunch buffet did us okay and we ate out every night in local area.

The half board buffet has a good selection and the dining service is actually quite orderly and calm,

There was a good choice for the breakfast and evening meals, there was always pizza, chips and plain pasta on the evening, im the fussy eater in the family and always found plenty of options.

Food wise I thought the restaurant was good with lots of choice on the buffet.

This was the case for both breakfast and dinner as we were half board.

Decaf coffee in the machine at breakfast which was good.

The Restaurant was Great in lots of choices for Breakfast and Dinner and catered for all guests, I found it excellent myself where my husband and son found it difficult to put meals together and some odd combinations at times.

This hotel is amazing you are close to PortAventura and town centre staff are friendly there’s only one bad thing about this hotel is that people are queuing up for a sunbed in the morning as pool doesn’t open until 9 as I do think it’s a disgrace I would ask everyone to go away and have breakfast then go out for a bed as theres sunbeds for everyone to get

The food at breakfast and evening meal was also good.

At breakfast etc our plates got taken away very quickly.

We were half board and found the food to be really good,there was loads to choose from,we are meat eaters and there was always lots of different types eg,veal,steaks,hamburgers,pork/chicken skewers and even a delicious steak pie one evening.

They offered new choices to eat every evening and the basic/regular foods like the pizza was delicious.

It was one of the nicest ‘hotel buffet’ meals i’ve ever had.

Room quite dusty around room / behind doors, beds not made to same standard

As this was the case the glass doors at the entrance to the pool grounds were open and there was some patio furniture right on the other side of the glass doors so we chose to sit there for a few minutes.

Just a suggestion, could there be 1 member of staff who hangs around at 9am after the doors are opened and anyone they see putting towels on sunbeds and immediately going for breakfast tell them that its not allowed and if they dont listen put their towel in a basket.

There were also not enough sunbeds and parasols for everyone, which meant it was complete chaos when the doors eventually opened.

There are nowhere near enough sun loungers and even less parasols, it was like a Black Friday sale when the doors  to the pool were opened.

There aren’t enough beds to guest ratio so people line up in reception from around 8am and then the doors open at 9am.

One tip I’d give is to be prepared for sunbed stampede- the doors open at 9 and there is a mad rush for sunbeds!!

People queue up in the morning for the sunbeds as the doors are locked and the pool gets very busy and loud during the day.

but not if want play water polo there not allowed also massive q for sun beds in morning door open at 9 people q since 8.30 another thing evening entertainment for kids start at 9.30 even do all kids outside running up down since after dinner 8.30 that goes on time 10 them adults shows come on till well after 11 noise racket if bedroom which my one was so close to stage you could not sleep very difficult for families with young baby's so think need up there game with activities for kids .

The food is unreal, I got a sneak peak behind scenes of kitchen whilst door was ajar the kitchen looks like a laboratory,  so clean.

When another room closed their door, my headboard would shake.

The noise (and the real let down of the hotel) from 7:00/7:30AM was absolutely unbelievable though, slamming doors continued all day, running and screaming kids in the corridors, banging of chairs/wardrobes and noise through the walls was insane.

You can hear every door slam, every person walking down the corridors, midnight and kids are running up and down the halls, quite a noisy hotel in general, slept with ear plugs in.

These can fit maybe 3-4 people, 5 if you're lucky (that's without suitcases) and take forever, partly because there's no door close

Then the other noise began, people banging doors and shouting on the corridors.

I was shocked at how they could just come through the door without knocking and it felt as

I’d advise leaving the “do not disturb” on the door, as room service arrived at 08:45, so no chance of a lie in!!

but expected has people wanted spaces by pool maybe let few people out at time has I found being at front of line did you no justice has once doors open people run from the back past you, which was annoying, but this wouldn’t stop me from returning.

As for trying to get a sunbed the situation is beyond belief and needs some urgent attention   with people queing up from 8.00 am ( doors open at 9.00 pm ) , we would normally go down  about 8.50 and were always at the back of a long queue usually going out of the hotel entrance onto the steps.

The morning race for the loungers and umbrellas is a pain, basically you end up queuing at around 8:15 (any later and good luck getting anything) and then when the door opens it is an elbows out race to grab what you can.

Entertainment was fab, we are family of 2+2 (8 and 14) and they loved it, the girl who does kids entertainment is outstanding - great energy!

She is amazing with everyone especially the Elderly and children.

My wife and I booked a 4 night break for a last munite get away with our 2 grown up sons.

Charlie was brilliant and my son followed him everywhere.

Family rooms are spacious with proper single beds for the children (not sofa or camp beds) and the mattresses/pillows are comfortable.

I stayed for a week half board with my daughter.

The restaurant has a good variety of decent food even for kids.

The other pool was a children's pool in the same area and so the same comments apply.

We even enjoyed the mini disco and baby shark songs!

but our son did take part in the water polo and volleyball a couple of times and really enjoyed it.

My daughter and her friends stayed in your hotel.

Approx £35 return for 2 adults and 2 kids.

They took the time to get to know our children and would come looking for our eldest to join in with the activities.

Our children loved the pick and mix each evening and I was able to take apples out for snacks during the day.

We went as a large group 6 Adults 2 Children (9 & 2).

The hotel is wicked we now will return with the kids in August.

The other toaster is terrible, 4 times for the bread to toast is too long and leads to queues.

the toasters need disposing of, you have to put your toast in 4 times to create toast or its still just bread, as you can imagine this creates a big queue.

In the morning queuing for coffee machine can be a pain due to lengthy queues depending on the time and small cups don't help we ended up having to get 2 at a time.

We usually ate around 8.00pm and did not have  to queue for long for the evening dinner and food was replenished frequently.

but not enough parasols, pool doesn't open till 9am people start queueing form 7/7 30am then it's was a mad dash for parasols with the odd few appearing at almost 9 to make the dash was quite annoying, in 30 years this was my first experience of the queueing business i will doing better research in future.

but when others in the queue confirmed that I did, he insisted I paid for it again!

Sunbed situation not too bad, we never queued, was busy

You have to queue in reception for sun-loungers before the pool opens at 9am.

The pool 1st thing in the morning did have a Queue for getting Sunbeds and I found this quite amusing while having breakfast, we never went to the pool in the mornings opting to do other activities

but I will be back to this hotel 
For anyone that is going to this hotel if u have anyone with disabilities and u are going to PortAventura please bring doctor letters and ID to the park so u can get the disability fast pass to all the rides if u don’t have this you will be refused it when u go up to queuing in the line at the disability desk just a bit of extra advice

There was a queue for sun loungers before the pool opened at 9am and it was the usual story of people reserving sun loungers and not using them for some time after.

Inside seating area not very comfortable at all and lack of staff on the bar at night made queues very long waiting for a drink.

Unless you are queueing for at least an hour before the pool opens at 9am you will not be guaranteed a parasol.

People queueing for dessert and once you get there things had run out - not what you want on holiday!

The only thing I would fault is that there are not enough sun parasols, which led to huge ques from 8 am and a dash to get an umbrella

Entertainment staff were brilliant and very friendly!

We had read some bad reviews about the food and large queues in the restaurant,

Unless you don’t get a fast pass, then you will queue all day to go on two rides.

but at busy times it was a bit hectic and queues to get into restaurant.

The management will just say that there is no need to queue,

The highlight of my holiday was all down to an amazing member of the Animation or entertainment team Elena.

but absolutely no-one went above and beyond, if you didnt greet them then they wouldnt smile or speak and as for the so called entertainment staff, who are they!!

We were half board and food was very good.

even though we were directly above the outside stage.

The animation team were fantastic, the kids were always super entertained.

The professional entertainment were mostly musicians.

but did love the mini disco every evening.

There seemed to be a lot going on with the animation staff and the evening entertainment,

The hotel has evening entertainment and a kids club with a medium size games rooms.

We didn't really watch any of the evening entertainment.

The entertainment was fantastic- much better than at most places I’ve been to- including 5* places.

We went for theme park view this year due to last years noise from entertainment.

The entertainment was brilliant with everything from Michael Jackson tribute, Queen tribute, acrobats and various dance acts.

On the plus side, it’s entertaining to watch

We didn’t get to see much of the evening entertainment either apart from briefly seeing the Freddie Mercury tribute which did look really good

The Freddie Mercury tribute band were fantastic.

We watched the evening entertainment a couple of evenings.

but the main standout was Elena from the animation team who's energy was electric the whole trip and made our childrens time so magical so we'll be forever grateful never in my 20 years of going to family resorts have I come across someone like her!

Good location, walking distance to Theme park,  10 minute walk to beach.

The hotel also had taxis ready for us within minutes of  our requests so it’s very easy to travel to the attractions (water park and theme parks close by).

The Portventura Theme parks  is 10 mins walking distance.

Clean with good food and a brilliant location for the theme parks.

The hotel was big, plenty to do for all, close to shops, theme park was only a walk away.

This hotel is in a great location, a 10 minute walk from the beach and not too far from the theme park.

We did all the parks and would recommend them all, we spent 13 hours in the main Portaventura theme park, it was brilliant.

10-15 walk to theme park and 10 minute walk to beach/restaurants/bars.

however after a chat with the friendly reception team we were moved to a room on the 5th floor overlooking the theme park which was great.

The location is great for the theme parks.

Great hotel in a great location,  10 minutes to theme park & 10 minutes to beach.

Also, go to a shop in Salou that sells the tickets for a reasonable price, don’t buy them at the theme park.

The hotel is a short walk to the theme parks which are worth the visit and a 10 minute walk to the beach and promanade.

hotel location is perfect if you plan on spending time at the theme park and not to far from the shops and beach.

Good location a short walk to resort centre, beach and plentiful bars and restaurants, railway station and theme park.

We were half board and both the breakfast and dinners of which had four of were nice , always found something to eat and even the more fussy eaters would have found something… evening entertainment every night was fun and enjoyable ( shame only on for the one hour)…Overall our visit to the Vintage hotel and Salou was a very enjoyable and of which one will be doing again in the future.

Took my wife to the H10 Vintage Hotel, Salou for a nine-night holiday, at Half Board, double-room, and enjoyed the venue very much.

We stayed at H10 vintage hotel, we stayed on half board!!!

Coming half board, our intention was to go out for dinner every evening

We chose half-board and the dinner every night was amazing.

We were half board and were really impressed with the selection of food both at breakfast and dinner.

We were half board and paid around £500 each for the pleasure of staying at the H10 Vintage Salou.

We were half board and found the food to be first class and probably the best food we have had anywhere on a half board basis.

We took up the offer of a night and breakfast in another hotel and we were then upgraded to half board for the rest of our stay in Vintage. The food in the hotel was amazing with themed dishes every night as well as a great range of veg, fish and meat dishes not to mention the delicious desserts (including a chocolate fountain!!)

ARRIVAL / CHECK IN 
Check in smooth and welcoming by a lovely gentleman who explained everything clearly to us.

We paid £500 per week half board flying with Tui.

We went as half board and was told we could swap breakfast for lunch at the restaurant

The food was top draw, we have stayed in hundreds of hotels and done half board,

Half board option was excellent, there was always something i could find to eat and what we did have was cooked perfectly.

Food on the half board option we took was always nice and plentiful.

The breakfast and dinner choices were plentiful and lovely, the chef makes the best apple crumble and chocolate brownies.

Breakfast had British sausages some days which was pleasing and some evenings they had bespoke desserts being served by a chef like hot choc fudge pudding or apple crumble which was top quality - personally the food scores higher than the entertainment ect 

Think it was around £9 for a smoothie and bottle of corona at the bar and £5 for a glass bottle of Fanta and Coke Zero at dinner time .

Breakfast ok. Have to agree with lkir123 about the sun loungers, they were reserved ( always the best situated) by selfish arrogant people who disappeared for 3 hours or more.

Asked if could have a chair in room as husband has back trouble reception staff just bluntly said no acted as she  was not bothed.buses are good plenty of them good service breakfast was good at the hotel plenty of choice fresh eggs cooked everyday boiled scrambled porched all good

Tea/Coffee machines, ice-creams, and the pastry-chef prepares Apple Strudel to die for with his own accompanying flavour of ice-cream.

Before this every day the old chief was more than happy to cook you the best eggs.

The food was bloody beautiful, delicious, and so much choice, we were loving it!

although buffet wasn’t massive the food was always fresh and topped up regularly.

Plenty of choice at breakfast and dinner.

We booked bed and breakfast and the breakfast was great, plenty of choice to suit all needs and helped yourself to tea,coffee and juice station.

Breakfast buffet didn’t have the largest selection. 6.

The breakfast, I would say, wasn’t quite as good as dinner

Lots of options for Breakfast and dinner, lunch is also served and you can swap your evening meal for lunch if you prefer and want to try one of the local restaurants.

The pool was lovely and breakfast had a good variety.

No real need for us to have a pool view as we where up for breakfast and down to enjoy the facilities, loungers and parasols where plenty and the lifeguard very happy to help anyone with acquiring one!

Breakfast was very good and catered for everyone I think, and the staff were always very attenuative,

The restaurant was spotlessly clean (as was every other part of the hotel) and the food was plentiful.

No welcome drink food not enough choice desert and salad boring room not clean two days bin in bathroom not emptied dirty toilet and shower tray balcony never cleaned hotel needs a lot of maintenance and clean noisy music around pool difficult to read in peace if you want good food harry potters is fab and lovely staff

but as the week went on and the hotel got busier we found ourselves able to hear both sets of neighbours conversations that's how thin the walls are!

The hotel has changed to adults only this year and we were a bit apprehensive as we have taken our grandson a couple of times before and wondered if this year the atmosphere would be too quiet for us

Check In: Arrived 1.30 pm - after Jet 2 inability to land due to severe air turbulence over Reus Airport.

As mentioned in previous reviews there is very little sound proofing between rooms which can be an issue.

Only other issue is the bathroom door, it has a fair sized gap at the top and the bottom, not ideal re:shower noise etc.

Marc who is the owner, threatened to ring police as the certain night staff who has followed 4 women off the family to their rooms alone has listened outside their rooms to even the slightest noise and reported, cannot even speak in your room or balcony after 12am or the police will be rang.

We could not hear the tv in the room over the noise and I know it’s abroad

The walls are a little thin and you can hear your neighbours.

We have been on many jet 2 adult only holidays and this is by far the worst experience we have had.

The only 'blot in the copy book' is the main road next the hotel which can get noisy when you're at the downstairs pool,

but does have a few issues regarding the rooms, there are a little small for a 4 star, but the main issue was the sound proofing between rooms, especially at night, you could hear the adjacent occupants talking, coughing and other nightly activities, however a good dose of Jack Daniels seemed to provide a cure.

We then came back at 3 only to find room wasn’t clean headboard full of dust , shower not sealed and floor with hair on it ,The room also had no long mirror so the missus couldn’t get ready at the dressing table as hairdryer was in bathroom.

This was such a let down and is the reason we wouldn’t return to this hotel, there was no friendliness or willingness to assist us apart from constant fobbing off.

but be preparred its on a main road with constant traffic and sirens noise.

The only down side is the hotel rooms u can hear every word even when people talk normally.

Rooftop pool, did not try it as others advised very busy and queues were horrendous.

The hotel is next to a busy road and you are aware of traffic noise when your balcony door is open.

We found our room to be quiet and couldn't hear any outside noise or neighbours which we were delighted by.

Swimming at your own risk as the pool attendant is away from the pool more than he is there the swimming is a risk 
The female staff at the bar are not at all friendly the male are good the food excellent and it’s the same story with the staff in the restaurant this could be a great place

Great hotel throughout cannot fault staff or food reasonable prices at the bar great check in only payment is made on card or wristband would definitely recommend P.S great tapas restaurant across the road

Everyone who works at this hotel from management, bar staff, restaurant  staff and house keeping do an amazing job and we love you all.

Fab cocktails and the staff are second to none.

The food is delicious and top class, there’s so much variety and the staff in the restaurant are lovely.

This hotel is lovely very clean and the staff are lovely rooftop pool amazing and so clean staff in restaurant work so hard and are so kind the reception staff are so helpful sorted out my club h10 membership and I got chocolate and free drink all in all a great stay once again

This hotel is amazing I emailed and asked for a top room floor and got it the restaurant and it’s staff work really hard the food is lovely and the rooftop pool is beautiful was a little disappointed not to be recognised as h10 club members all in all a great stay

The main reason we come back to this hotel is the staff know how to look after you from  the ladies on reception who will answer any questions and give local advice to the restaurant staff and cooks who will help you with your query.

Food was ok breakfast were good restaurant staff worked very hard and were always friendly.

Amazing staff, from the ladies in the restaurant, and the cleaners do an amazing hard job.

The restaurant staff were always polite and friendly and worked extremely hard clearing tables and resetting for the next person.

The Good:

	• Pool area is pristine and with plentiful sunbeds, tables and chairs
	• Waiter service around the pool, drinks reasonably priced
	• Reception staff helpful
	• Restaurant staff are very friendly
	• Shout out to Pili and her sister 
	• Rooms are "serviced" daily
	• Nightly live entertainment, something for everyone
	• Beds were comfortable
	• Balcony furniture was sturdy and comfortable
	• Fridge in bedroom
	• Plenty of storage
The Bad (ish)

	• Housekeeping staff spoke little if any English, Google translate was very helpful
	• Housekeeping merely "tickled" rooms,

the best hotel i have stayed in very clean the staff very friendly and helpfull the food very good  it was self service

Pool was lovely and there was also a roof top pool that was quiet.

The roof top pool opens an hour later at 10am.

We spent the first two days at the rooftop pool, the vibe up there is lovely and the plunge pool is great when it gets really hot.

It has a lovely rooftop pool on the 6th floor which has amazing views.

Staff were very friendly, breakfast had lots to choose from, rooftop pool was just perfect, beds very comfortable and clean, nightly entertainment was fun.

The rooftop pool and bar was a real highlight, with gorgeous views of the mountains in the distance and music on throughout the day.

The roof top pool was perfect for relaxing next to or a cool dip.

but if you just want to chill round the pool they don’t bother you ,the rooftop pool terrace is beautiful with a beautiful view and a little bit more chilled out but just got a little bit busy.

Roof top pool for adults was great as I found some areas of main pool in the shade.

The adults only roof top pool and bar looks very pleasant

I would definitely recommend this hotel especially the roof top pool and the spa.

but the rooftop pool has such chilled vibes which we loved too.

There is also the plunge pool on the rooftop which is for adults only, this had a nice chilled vibe every time we used it.
