I love the Javanese vintage design of this resort with serene and leafy garden.

Set in a beautiful surroundings close to Marapi yet only an hour from Semarang

Stop by here for coffee and snacks, the ambience was so relaxing, this place is quite far from the city, the concept is more like traditional hotel.

They also put up some outdoor string lights which made the ambience really nice.

The ambience was so serene and the green lush around resort was top notch.

Built along traditional lines with wide porticos to rest or work on, the beautiful gardens filled with orchids and lush vegetation was very special.

Huge, lush trees that makes you feel like in a totally another world.

but it packed a punch with its garden and ambiance.

The hotel is beautiful and laid out across a lovely tropical garden, and offers a spa and a lovely swimming pool.

The resort is a peaceful, grand complex set in a well maintained garden.

The garden is very beautiful with green views everywhere.

It makes use of nice old buildings and is situated in a lovely garden.

Overall, the room is so comfy, which made it hard to wake up and go to work in the morning :) I’m also loving the terrace and garden view.

We enjoyed the tropical lush garden, its a great experience in town, quiet ambient for talks with friends.

Spa is also very good, fitness facilities is OK, a small swimming pool around the garden is interesting in this type of hotel.

This quiet, family owned resort, located almost in the exact centre of Java, with its magnificient tropical garden and its "Tempo Doeloe" styled buildings is worth staying more than one or just a few relaxing days.

This is a very comfortable relaxing place to stay.

The location is so tranquil, in the middle of tropical forest-like garden.

Very funny while the staff bring the ordered food.

The rooms are big and quiet, the pool is big enough to do laps in the morning, the restaurant serves good food and the women from the spa will give you a good massage.

I Saw many improvement from this accommodation such as the cleaness, the hospitality, the services, the quality of the foods, and the premium coffee menu.

But the food, especially for breakfast is not delicious, very little variety of food menus.

the service is friendly and smiling, the breakfast is quite interesting and tasty.

but over all is OK. around hotel, not many good place to find good food, can go to center of town to get good food.

Now for Kayu Arum in Fizz; As someone who enjoy drinking alcholic beverage, I know when I have first sip of cocktail&friends, you might get taste of warmness or bitterness and sometimes both at the same time.

The dining was open and looked out on the gardens, the chef did a great job with the food and the service very good.

Even the restaurant also incorporated the garden into the dining area.

Breakfast are good especially for local cuisine.

An upnormal setting place..but I'm likely overall..the plant the location the room and anything else..a good place for take a rest and enjoy for recharge ur energy.

We booked deluxe room with the garden view.

They have complementery food in the room.

The rooms is clean.. the bedsheet is superb

We booked 3 rooms, 2 Deluxe and 1 Superior.

We paid IDR 970,000 for a Delux room and a price of IDR 500,000 would do the place more justice.

We particularly love the indische-themed room, the furniture, the bed, and the bathtub.

it's a wow; clean, fresh and many big trees, the room and toilet is OK.  breakfast is good.

The insulation of the rooms is not really good.

Rooms had a Balinese feel to them and were clean and well appointed.

Decorated with well-crafted wooden furnitures (that you can purchase to be installed at your home), the more expensive rooms are named after more solid woods and provide more excellent view.

Facilities like pool and spa are clean and in good order.

We were particularly pleased with the 15 minute welcome massage!

Pros: 
- excellent spa: seems like it’s newly renovated, so it’s spotless and very beautiful.

Overlooking the pool, the spa is on the second floor with a friendly and professional therapist and cozy, ethnical looking chambers.

I recently went to the spa with some friends.

but were pleasantly offered to wait a bit so three of us could each have a massage at the same time.

Very decent meals including breakfast/ We used the spa and enjoyed the services.

but I was told by a friend accompanying me that teh spa is excellent.

Massage facilities are excellent and much enjoyed by my wife.

Oh yeah, and there's an excellent spa right on the premises with a full range of services to offer!

In the same complex, they also have a spa that is pretty affordable and very very enjoyable.

You need to confirm many times to the staff (especially Front Office staff) to make sure your request being NOTED and being DONE!

There is always someone / staff to attend your needs.

Helpful staff, feels like i want to stay there longer, considering to manage a stay next time ..

My husband will have to drag out the kids and I to leave the resort if it wasn't because of the lousy wifi connection.

The front office staff told me that because I stayed in the corner of the building (deluxe or executive room), SO I CAN NOT get wifi connection.

WiFi may not be super strong for skype meetings;

Unfortunately it has minor downsides: 
- the internet didn’t stay connected to the devices (all apple) and froze from time to time
- the gym has seen better days and was in a pretty bad shape
- there is a mosque not so far away that wakes you up at 4am (well, Indonesia is a muslim country - you are facing that fact probably everywhere).

The only issue was the internet connectivity could have been more reliable.

but the wifi in the room was bad and useless.

My apple products sometimes had connection problems (hint: connect to the wifi and then type "1.1.1.1" into your internet browser for the login screen),

Unfortunately the Wi-Fi was not really strong inside of the room, and the room was dark

Our room aircondition didn't work, so we could not sleep properly, bed sheets and bathroom towels need to be upgraded and replaced with new ones.

Every time I go to your hotel in this past 2 years, it’s always there is a problem with your AC and I have to changing room.

Didn't sleep because the air conditioning kept on shutting down.

He could not explain about the broken aircon despite his prior "inspection".

The only thing maybe is the AC seems to be too strong and blow directly into my bed.

but had to change room at 11 pm during my first night, since the AC controller did not work and suddenly the WC flooded the bathroom, which of course is unacceptable.

What She did is trying to put her head right on the A/C Air From, right in front of the LCD TV on the wall.

The a/c after repair, spewed out contaminated air molecules so bad i developed a throat infection and developed an allergic rash i never had since the rare days of bunking with friends in backpackers motels 2 decades ago.

Then we entered the room, took a bath and when we slept on the bed, the whole bed, pillow and blanket were damp.

Shower door broken, water tap broken, bathroom amenities like in  a 2 star hotel.

The rooms were dirty, power came on and off, the breakfast is better in the street stall across the street and apologies to the other guests - we drank the only bottle of dark rum on the property (when it eventually was served, after we sobered up).

The sheets and towels need to be renewed, the fridge wasn't 4 degrees cold, the shower head wasn't working properly.

I guess the smell came from the bathroom?

Room size is average, need more attention for cleanness, specially for the bathroom area.

Bathroom amenities is a bit minimum for a 4 star hotel, no liquid soap? Really?

The bed had a pee stain on it, the bathroom had dirt on the floor, the cellular coverage is not great, and the tv remote battery is leaking out.

Minuses : Lack of cleanliness; the wall at the toilet has some stains, pile of dirts at the corner of the room and toilet.

The bathroom was supposed to be indoor/outdoor type.

From slow check-in/check-out, weak Wi-Fi signal, slow internet connection, broken aircon to dirty toilets and bedrooms.

The toilet ran continuously wasting water day and night.

in the evening, my wife was looking for the hairdryer which is said can be found in the bathroom,

The lobby & decoration is very interesting.

All we feel is relaxing environment and fresh air.

The environment, design and architect are Java traditional concept.

The design theme difference between the 2 buildings is a turnoff.

It's a mini resort with many open spaces and java cultured architecture.

I stay two nights for business purposes.Check in process is fast enough, I choose the type of superior double room for this trip.The rooms are quite large, the furnishings in the rooms are quite good, the cleanliness is also quite good and has a terrace, and the nice thing is the hotel has plenty of green space.

Lighter color wall,  better facility maintenance and cleanliness, refunctioning of facilities and landscaping would uplift this beautiful property to a very good resorr.

If you are looking for a clean basic Indonesian style hotel in salatiga look no further.

The hotel has an interesting interior design in the old joglo building.

The lobby area had a nice atmosphere, breakfast was good, and they had a lot of sport options.

Trees and garden surrounding was very good atmosphere to stay.

but you will feel different atmosphere in their new building
personally, I choose to stay in the standard room despite (maybe) smaller room size, it's clean, comfortable and quite modern
breakfast also ok, the taste is average, but many choices available

Its really nice place, good view interesting architecture and friendly staffs.

but sometimes when you decided to have a fresh air outside instead of fresh air you'll have an awful rotten smell coming from the building next door and that ruined those images of a spa.

but there is local transport that goes right past the front door.

the building is rather old, so some of the mebel and door lock look obsolete.

At the time of booking, we already asked for an extra bed and it's confirmed.

but in all honesty whilst in central jave stick with nasi goreng as they dont know how to cook anything western properly pool is nice and clean i think this hotel concentrates on functions for its bread and butter.

The environment is clean, the pool is large and the foods are tasty.

Wowww still lucky to get old building rooms for the whole families, nice pool, gym, tennis court, & the spa.

The pool area needs attention - just sweeping around it would help!

Other hotel facilities are also quite complete, the pool is big enough.

some big plants with the details, large and beautiful garden, amazing wood stuff in the room and include some small statue with amazing light. Kids pool and adult pool was separated and both of it just beautiful :) free car wash.

Their staff (the front desk, the staff in restaurant, staff in swimming pool, security, etc) is very helpful and smile a lot at least to me.

• The breakfast was your typical Indonesian small-town buffet of left-overs from yesterday’s dinner buffet – OK I suppose,

but some rooms might dont have a good view, because it sorrounded with residential area

Standard rooms at front of hotel along way from pool or anything else in new building the old charming part of hotel at back withe large rooms and suites up to 160$ i ended up getting a room for 110$ big kingsize bed etc

Also, the rooms are spacious with ample patios or balconies.

If your looking for a nice room to stay I totally do not recommend this hotel.

Bathroom was filthy, with mold on the floor and bidet.

However almost the whole night my kid stay awake and stay outside the room because she cannot stand the dampness.

Maybe the smell come from the floor drain.

They have three different kind of lodging that you can choose; (sort by price, high to low) cottage/resort, semi resort, building.

Staff was great let us borrow umbrellas for the day free of charge, Stopping traffic to help us cross the road and helping us book transportation to solo.

but lucky.. check in proceed was very fast and staff very friendly too.

However there is improvement needed for staf to be stay at the front desk in the standard room area.

There were any staff in room out the back

but the reception said the new building for standart rooms, that I booked were superior rooms.
