Location was amazing, friendly staff, room had a wonderful view, bed was huge and really comfortable and the iPad controls for the lighting, blinds and tv streaming was fab.

Huge bed, comfortable pillows, a plus to the small size of the room is that it easily heats up or cools down.

Not having a kettle is a misunderstanding.

I booked it looking on the booking sites pics, the room is just a big bed, bathroom in the room, no closet, no fridge, no place to normally sit do some work, minimallistic,

The size of our room was ridiculously small and no coffee/ tea, cups etc in the room.

but coffee service is super slow a suggestion would be a machine as a complement to the barista I had to vait for almost 10 minutes for a cappuccino and usually is 10 minutes all time I have for breakfast and I prefer at least 2-3 cups of coffee during breakfast.

No hot pots in the room, so you have to get dressed to go down and get coffee.

(No roomservice or mini-bar option in the room).

The A/C could be more effective and better separated from other A/Cs in order not to suck in kitchen smell from somewhere else.

They don't even have a kettle in the room which is a basic thing and available even with the most budget accommodations.

but there is a "cafeteria" that is "open" 24/7 - by cafeteria, I mean a refrigerator like in a store, with items you can purchase when you want e.g.

however, is that there was no kettle in the room so to have an early morning or late night drink you had to be dressed and go to the bar to get hot water, (we always carry tea bags).

The only things lacking were a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities

I did miss a minibar or some amenities like hair conditioner or body lotion.

Othrwise modern ,clean, friendly, tasty and excellent location - what more could ask for ?

Our first booking in a CitizenM hotel, we were pleasant surprised about how modern, comfortabel the hotel is, very helpful people and a clean room.

It was clean, welcoming, very modern yet homely.

SocietyM was very handy as a co-working space and we could even meet and chat with our friends in the Living Room.

Nice common reading rooms with plenty of books.

Rooms are functional and forward thinking.

The concept is very interesting: functional rooms, without those things that increases the price.

but the room is small and has a small shower+toilet cabin instead of a separate bathroom.

but any longer the rooms are a too small to spread out and do some work if you are on business.

the staff/crew is genuinely friendly and interested, the bar always fun even if you travel alone.

It rained one of the days i was there and the team provided umbrella upon request.

to help you out, they always, and I stress always, do so with a smile.

The breakfast was very nice with plenty of choices.

Lounge had nice snacks in the evening and an ample breakfast in the morning.

The breakfast was tasty and had a good amount of variety.

Executive Lounge is up at the 12th floor serving drinks, snacks and offers simple breakfast for elite members - super friendly and courteous staff with great service.

The inclusive breakfast will keep you going until evening.

Another part of our stay which I liked a lot was breakfast.

Breakfast is served in a nice room with a great view of the station/city; friendly staff, hot items are cooked to order and the buffet is full of any item you might want.

Breakfast starts early (0630) and plenty of crew there as well.

Breakfast in the morning was also good as there is a buffet variety or you can have made to order from a menu of items.

Whether it was because I had a loyalty card (enrol if you're not a member) or because they were super busy due to the huge conference I was attending at Rotterdam Ahoy convention centre I am not sure.

To be called crazy because I asked for an invoice ?

But secretly took 2 nights off the credit card.

However, when I checked out of my hotel, I was charged £28.50 PER PERSON for breakfast.

Room 1218 has a problem that when you start the coffee machine the electricity goes off.. electric wiring problem for this room does not warrant a premium.. charging for this room upgrade was actually a downgrade for us.. 

Options for the breakfast should be improved.. options are not that great..

and that there is one plug to charge the phone.

We were billed incorrectly three times and had to have this reversed.

They didnt accepted cash to observe this rude policy, only our card.

though my credit card could not be read by the desk and was declined twice.

As I mentioned above, the beer was overpriced even with the discount card, and the breakfast was overpriced as well.

but upon arrival failed to give a good description where can I park and charge an electric car.

I go back downstairs to make sure our bags are not lost and we were not charged for the upgrade we did not receive.

Hard to believe there's a hotel in 2017 that charges you for high-speed internet.

They let us checkout a little bit later, without charging us extra.

The booking was paid for some 4 months in advance, yet the clerk on arrival wanted a deposit which was increased the second day without discussion and charged direct to the credit card.

However, it has been 18 days and the reservation is still charged to my credit card.

First day they have it at the lobby waiting for me and another day, they simply delivered it to the room without extra charge.

Had a minor problem with the hotel card not recognising my door.

Credit where its due - the hotel has managed to lend me a laptop (albeit because they neglected to say the business centre was closed due to refurbishments - either at the time I booked or subsequently) on which I had been relying as I am travelling "light".

but they did not and did not accept my Marriott card.

Location, facilities and services are all fantastic.

The location is fantastic - directly opposite (100m) Rotterdam Central Station, which is 20 minutes' ride by train from Schiphol Airport.

We took easy day trips to Leiden and The Hague as well as visits to the Euromast, Cube Houses, Markthal food court, Line 10 City Tour and Spido extended harbor cruise thanks to the convenient location.

We booked because the hotel is conveniently located across the street from the train, bus, and metro station

The location is great…near the centrum where there are lots of shops and restaurants.

Its location was phenomenal in terms of the train station:  across the street.

Lovely room , excellent  location, served very well plus they surprised  us for my boyfriends  birthday with a small sweets  gift and also complimentary  drinks from manager , which meant a lot  to say the least .

It’s very conveniently located near the central station, and also the view is good.

Location right across from the Central Station was perfect also.

It is more of a business type hotel with convenient location.

The location of hotel is perfect you can walk to the center and also close to Rotterdam train station.

We enjoyed dining in the Millen restaurant and also found the bar area in reception to be very good.

Very nice executive lounge, with good choice of food and drinks (though only till 9,30 pm, which is a little bit too early).

We even ended up having dinner at the lobby restaurant one evening and that was better than expected.

The restaurants and bars are great and amazingly affordable by UK and Irish standards.

The M Club has a beautiful view and a wonderful evening spread (3-4 hot dishes, cold appetizers, cheese, and dessert).

In every restaurant I have been in (America, Europe, Asia) during my travels…I have never been ask to leave each day before I finished my food (which I got at 9:30 am).

They have a full-service restaurant, bar and a 24 hour snack/necessity store.

The hotel was just across the main train station and very near shopping and dinning streets,

We received amazing personal attention from Cynthia who helped us find a book a perfect restaurant ( the hotel restaurant is closed Sunday night).

Incredible 5-star experience, everything from the service to the room to the food.

Nice selection of food, perfect poached eggs and pancakes with fresh berries.

We ate in the Hotel restaurant which was good as well.

We went to the market to purchase everything we needed for a Thanksgiving dinner and thoroughly enjoyed riding around town with our grocery bags secured to the front of the bicycle.

Great hotel close to shopping, restaurants and the train station.
