The breakfast was very nice with plenty of choices.

Lounge had nice snacks in the evening and an ample breakfast in the morning.

The breakfast was tasty and had a good amount of variety.

Executive Lounge is up at the 12th floor serving drinks, snacks and offers simple breakfast for elite members - super friendly and courteous staff with great service.

The inclusive breakfast will keep you going until evening.

Breakfast in the restaurant was pretty quick - combination of self-service buffet and made-to-order items with a good selection.

Another part of our stay which I liked a lot was breakfast.

Breakfast is served in a nice room with a great view of the station/city; friendly staff, hot items are cooked to order and the buffet is full of any item you might want.

Breakfast starts early (0630) and plenty of crew there as well.

Breakfast in the morning was also good as there is a buffet variety or you can have made to order from a menu of items.

Whether it was because I had a loyalty card (enrol if you're not a member) or because they were super busy due to the huge conference I was attending at Rotterdam Ahoy convention centre I am not sure.

To be called crazy because I asked for an invoice ?

But secretly took 2 nights off the credit card.

However, when I checked out of my hotel, I was charged £28.50 PER PERSON for breakfast.

Room 1218 has a problem that when you start the coffee machine the electricity goes off.. electric wiring problem for this room does not warrant a premium.. charging for this room upgrade was actually a downgrade for us.. 

Options for the breakfast should be improved.. options are not that great..

and that there is one plug to charge the phone.

We were billed incorrectly three times and had to have this reversed.

They didnt accepted cash to observe this rude policy, only our card.

though my credit card could not be read by the desk and was declined twice.

As I mentioned above, the beer was overpriced even with the discount card, and the breakfast was overpriced as well.

but upon arrival failed to give a good description where can I park and charge an electric car.

I go back downstairs to make sure our bags are not lost and we were not charged for the upgrade we did not receive.

Hard to believe there's a hotel in 2017 that charges you for high-speed internet.

They let us checkout a little bit later, without charging us extra.

The booking was paid for some 4 months in advance, yet the clerk on arrival wanted a deposit which was increased the second day without discussion and charged direct to the credit card.

However, it has been 18 days and the reservation is still charged to my credit card.

First day they have it at the lobby waiting for me and another day, they simply delivered it to the room without extra charge.

Had a minor problem with the hotel card not recognising my door.

Credit where its due - the hotel has managed to lend me a laptop (albeit because they neglected to say the business centre was closed due to refurbishments - either at the time I booked or subsequently) on which I had been relying as I am travelling "light".

but they did not and did not accept my Marriott card.

The hotel is ideally located opposite the attractive train station building.

Location, facilities and services are all fantastic.

The location is fantastic - directly opposite (100m) Rotterdam Central Station, which is 20 minutes' ride by train from Schiphol Airport.

We took easy day trips to Leiden and The Hague as well as visits to the Euromast, Cube Houses, Markthal food court, Line 10 City Tour and Spido extended harbor cruise thanks to the convenient location.

We booked because the hotel is conveniently located across the street from the train, bus, and metro station

A very nice modern hotel in a very convenient location, offering  very pleasant and efficient service.

The location is great…near the centrum where there are lots of shops and restaurants.

Its location was phenomenal in terms of the train station:  across the street.

The room was a good size with good views over the city, and I was pleased that it had both a shower and a bath.

Our stay began with a warm, friendly greeting thanking me for my loyalty with an early check in, explanation of my lounge access benefit and an upgraded room.

My room on the 8th floor was spacious, with an excellent bed.

Staff did what they could to help, including offering a room switch.

The room itself was OK, bed and pillows were comfortable, the shower wasn't especially powerful and it was a shame the room didn't have any USB sockets.

Incredible 5-star experience, everything from the service to the room to the food.

It provides the impression one would expect from the hotel room - very pleasant.

It has an upmarket feel and all the staff were both professional and pleasant.

but front desk help me printing the documents I needed.

but it is quaint, functional and efficient.

The staff are multinational, multilingual and super friendly.

We especially want to commend Devina at the front desk and Delilah and Alyssa in the restaurant/lounge for there friendliness and helpfulness.

Ice was always available with a smile whether at the bar or by phone call.

I provided a review of this hotel and the GM wrote back with apologies.

The front desk staff recommended 3 restaurants for us and we were happy with all 3.

I received a friendly welcome, and check-in was extremely fast and efficient.

They respond quick, nice, and to the point.

Breakfast in restaurant, and it was very good (excellent poached eggs to order).

The buffet was varied and included what you might expect as well as some Dutch specialties.

Breakfast is fantastic, they even brought a trolley round to offer freshly made waffles.

The breakfast catered to a variety of tastes.

Friendly service in the bar and an excellent breakfast choice.

It was total chaos on a Sunday morning for breakfast.

A good business hotel with very accesible location, efficient and provide a great breakfast.

Every guest can also request omlette or poached egg which is promptly prepared and served to the table.

Breakfast was also very child friendly with friendly service.

Also, we noticed that there were bath towels in the lift lobby on the 4th floor under the window as they were in such a poor state they were leaking.

For the price of this hotel you would expect that you could get in the lift and head to your room at any time without issues.

Elevator has a “security system” that requires a key insert,

From the moment you walk in to the lobby, the décor is dated, cold and unwelcoming, much like the weather at the time,  the staff did warm things up a bit, friendly and helpful, the lifts were old and temperamental, only complimentary filter coffee on offer in the lobby

It was worst at the elevator baks and hallways.

Only 2 lifts and 1 was not working - not good when people are trying to check out.

though one might wonder why assign a next to the elevator room while the Hilton profile clearly indicates to the contrary.

Staff seem to think that only rooms near the elevators are noisy

On the negative side, I had a room close to the elevators, and by the third night I begun to hear them.

However, the lifts' carpets were badly stained and need replacing.

My issue was that my room backed onto the service elevator meaning that there was constant noise when in operation, which was most of the day and some of the night.

There is also renovation going, (I think) as 1 of the elevators was out of service.

Only one of two elevators worked, and it had been that way for at least a week.

My fave hotel is going downhill, items not up to usual standards below

- rubbery overcooked eggs at breakfast
- overcooked pizza for room service and missed item
- one lift out of service for two days, 10 mins waits
- trash not collected, incomplete cleaning of bathroom

The most annoying one was lack of laundry bags believe it or not, asked about it three times and not resolved until my last night when too late so had to take dirty laundry with me to next destination.

In the morning when everyone is trying to get to breakfast or to check out, I experienced a 5-minute wait for an elevator.

Only two elevators which get really busy during rush hour, may cause waiting time in the morning

Room was not too big.

The elevators were goofy to navigate with card entry only.

Very much understaffed, long waits for everything, VALET was full and only 2 very slow elevators.

I have stayed in HILTON Rotterdam for 3 nights, business trip, excellent location, great staff and service, clean and spacious rooms, also convention, business  area very nice with excellent service.

The hotel is 5mn walk from the train station so very easy access from schipol airport, it has trams and metros nearby so very well located and close to shops, restaurants etc.

We couldn't have chosen a better hotel for service, room, food, and executive lounge than the Hilton.

The happy hour offer in the evening was comprehensive with a very good selection of food and drinks.

The rail line, taxis, convenience services and many eateries are close at hand.

Nice variety of drinks, snacks and even food at happy hour.

There are plenty of restaurants and bars within a few minute's walk.

The markets, restaurants, shopping and sightseeing are easily reachable by foot too.

The food in the restaurant was moreish and well prepared.

Tram in front and on the side of the hotel, 1 stop from Centraal and many food and shopping options within walking distance.

The  Staff from the Frontdesk, Food and Beverages and other Staff have been very friendly and helpfull.

This is one of the better Hiltons I have stayed in with all the usual facilities like an excellent Executive Lounge, and a very good restaurant and bar.

The breakfast was tasty and varied, and the hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the main Rotterdam train station.

Short distance too restaurant,bars, casino and many shops.

Excellent, friendly help from reservations to front desk to restaurant.

On top of that, there was an additional 2 HOUR wait time for room service to clean my room so that I could go in.

Room was a good size, quite comfortable - we slept well.

Staying in the heart of Rotterdam for a few days 
The rooms are quiet, clean and modern… The breakfast is a five star dining extravaganza… Custom-made fruit, smoothies, fresh-baked on site, pastries… Bicycles available at the front desk for a modest charge.

I was upgraded to a Baby or Junior Suite or something like that, which had a bit more room and gave a nice, relaxed atmosphere.

Room was very clean and comfortable, and staff went over and above to ensure a great stay.

The rooms, as advertised, exude a classic charm with comfortable beds and well-appointed bathrooms.

Our room was clean and comfortable with all the necessities.

I was kindly upgraded as a Hilton  Honours diamond member to a King Junior Suite who was a spacious room with work desk and a well-equipped bathroom.

The staff were welcoming, the rooms well appointed with the convenience of a mini fridge rather than a minibar.

The room was very nice, clean, quiet and very comfortable.

Rooms clean and location close to the city was perfect.

Fabulous welcome by the reception team, very comfortable room with high cleanliness.

Nice touch except they only supply one capsule for each guest and rarely top up when cleaning the room.

Our room was very clean, modern and well appointed.

Anything complimentary you normally get in a hotel room is missing.

Rooms are average, bathrooms small and the only towel hooks are over the toilet!

At first there was no shower gel, body lotion in the tiny bathroom.

The bathroom was small, it had a walk-in shower.

Bathroom is just too small for two people
but its amenities were satisfactory.

but very basic; you could sit on the toilet, take a shower, and brush your teeth at the same time - so the bathroom is tiny to say the least; beds are like rocks and not comfortable; online checkin is worthless as they moved others and me from the room picked-not that it mattered since the rooms are basically all the same standard room anyway; the AC barely worked and was more about blowing air than cooling the room.

Only the bathroom was really small - for one person ok,

Fresh baked breadrolls, croissants, boiled eggs, possibility to toast your bread, fresh fruit, yoghurts, two coffeemachines to brew a nice fresh coffe to your liking etc.

We had a nice time briefly speaking with David during our breakfast.

Most hotel rates come with free breakfast (more healthy choices to be added soon).

Upon my arrival, I was pleasantly surprised when the staff namely David not only honored my entitlement to breakfast the next morning

Breakfast at 0700-0730 – strict on hours.

The price includes a continental buffet breakfast as well.

Breakfast is excellent and rooms are with amazing view.

The breakfast staff were so friendly patient and welcoming.

The breakfast buffet the next morning was very good.

The welcome lemon water was great, and the breakfast was okay.

But the continental breakfast was fantastic!

Average breakfast- slices of ham/chicken, cheese and breads.

It is a pretty standard, no-frills budget hotel breakfast,

Breakfast is continental style, with prebooked timeslots;  well managed & efficient, all fresh & kept well stocked.

Just a few minutes easy walk from the station and ten minutes from the Erasmus bridge.

It's approximately fifteen minutes from the Market Hall and main tourist attractions, such as the Cube Houses and the Erasmus Bridge.

The hotel is also less than 10 minutes walk from Miniworld and around 20 minutes walk from the Erasmus bridge.
