 - We also enjoyed aperitifs and watching the sunset on the roof top terrace.
 - We stayed in the building on the opposite side and what a great place for couples travelling together, rooms 206 and 207, huge lounge with full kitchen plus outside terrace all full of character.
 - In the evening, a buffet with Italian aperitif (which is free with the purchase of a drink), is served on the terrace.
 - The roof terrace has a fantastic view over Rome and we would have loved to have spent more time there
 - Their complimentary breakfast and happy hour in their terrace was actually really good.

 - The hotel is also easily walkable to many of the tourist attractions, including a quick 5 minute walk to the Roman Forum or a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum.

 - And getting to the apartment, up steps and down steps and in a little lift which opens 'outside' is a bit spooky in the dark.
 - The 3 foot square elevator,
 - The hotel is very old and cannot be altered, so the elevator was a bit of a shock- its about 2.5x3 feet- just enough for bags to get in.

 - The inn is on a dead end drive (it ends with stairs and a small fountain), so there is no car traffic.

 - After waiting an hour I asked if I could use the shower - it wasn’t offered to me - and they allowed me down to the spa area My room had no A/C for the first 2 nights.

 - The only negative was the bathroom setup with the open shower
 - A couple of things to mention: The bathroom sink is a little splashy and the shower is in an open area, so keep that in mind, depending on the amount of privacy you need.
 - but unfortunately a little early in the year for it to be open.
 - The staff told us that the only way to cool the room was to open the large window, which was not ideal since you couldn't leave the window open for the night.
 - We also used it to call restaurants to make reservations and make sure they were open.

 - Bedside lockers with over head bed lighting and lamps.
 - However, on the thrid night the light came on 6 times during the night.
 - My only suggestion is to improve the lighting in the lobby common areas and bar; the lights are too bright!
 - Stuff they cannot do anything about - basin counter could’ve been bigger - improve lighting in rooms- very difficult to do makeup!
 - Lastly, 2/3 mornings we were there, we had the do not disturb sign on the door AND the dnd light and housekeeping knocked and woke us up.

 - The location is fantastic with Termini station plus the Colosseum, Pantheon and Trevi Fountain all 10-15 minutes walk away
 - The location was excellent, so close to the colosseum and trevi fountain.

 - but they did have an elevator to get up there.
 - Expect to go through a couple doors and then an elevator before reaching the reception area and rooms, which is inside a tall building.
 - No one was able to tell is if or when the elevator would be repair, and it ended up not mattering because we left before it was fixed.
 - The rooms are on the third floor and there is a lift for those who need it (I did!).
 - but would preferred to have stayed in the newer part where breakfast room is as the lift to 5th Floor is very small and very slow!

 - You can go by walk in all the principle attractions of the city It was a very good choice.
