 - We used the rooftop pool and loungers and had this all to ourselves on 2 days.
 - Roof top pool in season and indoor pool and spa year round.
 - Rooftop pool and bar was gorgeous.
 - The roof top pool has day / sun beds for lounging on and very comfortable.
 - There is a pool on the rooftop that offers views of the entire city!

 - In total we paid nearly 600 dollars for one night: absolutely not worth it and will be avoiding Hiltons and their cost cutting measures for the forseeable future.
 - but nope, all was covered by the points except a minor occupancy tax.
 - We don't usually eat meals in the hotel as they tend to be overpriced and marginal at best.
 - some of the jets in the swimming pool do not work, and faucets in the restrooms in the public areas provide no water, indicating overall poor upkeep despite expensive materials.
 - We had one lunch at the restaurant - overpriced

 - The services are all high quality, not least the food, the bar and the spa.
 - The spa is beautiful and is booked beforehand.
 - Spa service was very enjoyable.
 - We also had access, upon reservation, to the indoor pool with jacuzzi and to the sauna.
 - We used all the amenities of the hotel including their beautiful spa with their fitness center in the former vault of the original bank, another must see!

 - Convenient location with easy walk to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, and Roma Termini station.
 - Walking to Piazza di Spagna, Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon were fairly quick, once we learned our way around.
 - You could walk anywhere from this hotel - Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon.
 - but we like quiet and comfort after battling the crowds around the Pantheon.
 - You can walk to basically major site in 15 mins or less (Spanish steps about 1t, Pantheon maybe 25 with crowds etc)

 - The lobby, service, sleeping room and restaurant were all 5 Stars…… If you are planning a trip at Christmas time this is an excellent destination as the location is also very central.
 - N/A
 - Amazing hotel and staff in good location, central to most attractions and transportation.
 - Location was decent and we wound up walking a lot and taking Ubers.
 - There are better, more interesting locations in Rome.

 - But even with the understanding, the hotel needs to also understand that point stay occurs because there were numerous prior paid stays, and the guests shouldnt feel uncomfortable in utilizing them, and communicate in more direct way discussing the issue.
 - however, was the most expensive bad meal we could ever recall having been served.
 - They left us alone for the whole time and we had to sat up to pay.
 - I wasn't sure if we would be treated differently as we were using our AMEX points to pay for our stay.
 - Waldorf Astoria is considerably inferior given what I saw of the common areas (I stopped by to check it out), and the price reflects it.

 - Room felt luxurious and tastefully decorated and the bathroom amenities extensive.
 - I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a luxury brand.
 - Uber-spacious and luxurious rooms.

 - An excellent luxury hotel.

 - On the location: I usually stay in the busiest part of Rome near the Pantheon (and while I like walking around the area), it takes about 20 minutes to get in and out -- traveling to meetings or the airport.
 - The Colosseum, the Pantheon, and the Trevi Fountain, are all walking distance from the St. Regis.
 - We were able to walk within 15 minutes to a lot of landmarks - Spanish Steps & Trevi Fountain & Pantheon.

 - Original booking was a regular room with a king bed.
 - Room felt luxurious and tastefully decorated and the bathroom amenities extensive.
 - My rating of the hotel staff is the highest rating I could ever give, very helpful, concierge recommendations for everything were spot on and excellent, rooms were clean/spacious/elegant, would highly recommend staying here.
 - The room was spacious

 - We also enjoyed L’arte Della Musica, another live music event at Lumen, as well as the classic champagne sabring ritual– which no matter how many times we experience it never gets old, and this is the first place we saw it indoors!
 - The team so friendly, the rooms are wonderful, the ambiance of breakfast is great with the presence of attentive devoted chef, the lobby team so amazing and sophisticate, the food so tasty and the champagne activity is remarkable…what can I say more??
 - Flowers, a cake, champagne - what else could a girl ask for!!
 - It was my sisters birthday and they brought out a cute little cake with champagne.
 - Also, we were just in time for the daily signature St Regis champagne sabrage and had a nice chat with servers and barkeepers.

 - Lots of construction ongoing and was given room right next to it.
 - We were woken up one morning by the construction noise,
 - I was a little worried reading the reviews that the hotel would be noisey from construction.
 - There was no disturbance during our five night stay; in fact it seemed more like loving restoration as opposed to remodeling that was happening.
 - There is little notice of the construction.
