We couldn't get enough of the freshly baked pistachio croissants for breakfast each morning.

Located within steps of the Duomo, this historic hotel has been well maintained with lots of character and charm.

Our room was very comfortable and the sitting room down the hall from the front desk has an old world charm.

The location was great - almost equidistant between  Il Duomo and the Uffizi.

We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the location which was central to Piazza Navona, Pantheon and walking distance to all the sites.

It can get a bit loud at night time, and slightly slow Wi-Fi.

One of the restaurants on the square plays loud live rock music until 2am every night!!

If you're a sensitive sleeper, you may have issues with staying in a room facing the arch or plaza, as there is loud music nightly until 2am.

However we had to hear loud music every night ( until the early hours) from another building despite being in a corner room on the 3rd floor.

The only thing to note is if you are facing the square the restaurant below plays music past midnight in the summer so it was loud.

Only challenge was a couple of our nights there was a loud celebration/band in the square which was difficult to sleep through.

but there is very loud music blasting nightly.

The only complaint I have is that our room was facing the square and there was live music at one of the restaurants in the square that was pretty loud until around 12 midnight.

It was a bit noisy at night when music is playing in bars down below

but the room was great except for the very loud music from the square below that kept us awake until after midnight

The downside was that it could be very noisy particularly in the evenings when a bar restaurant blasted loud music and singing until 1 AM in the morning.

One small downside is that it was next to a large public square with outdoor musicians that play until midnight so can be loud at night.

The only downside was that the rooms don’t have enough noise insulation so when there are parties or loud people in the town square, it’s impossible to sleep.

Just be aware that they play music in the Piazza until after midnight.

but because of loud music from a nearby cafe, we moved to a smaller inside room that was completely quiet.

The only negative was that our room faced the plaza and there was loud music playing until about 1 am almost every night of our 5 nights there.

but it got loud at night, as nearby students, etc.

It seems to be more of a bed and breakfast rather than 

Rooms 403, 404, and 405 all face the busy square, which has loud activity until late in the morning.

The evening singer next door was a bit loud until midnight each evening (and the same songs nightly).

They were buzzing around and biting resulting in very poor quality sleep.

Loved the little staircase up to our rooms.

From the service to the quality of the room - we shared two rooms - it was faultless.

Apparently we received an upgrade from the room class we had booked, and it was lovely!

Our stay was excellent the rooms were of the best quality and placement for a nice veiw of the city 
The one thing that was a culteral difference was the lack of wash rags

My only complaint, if I really had to nik pick was the stairs to go up to my room were a bit small and spirally.

The staff of the hotel was very nice and gentle with us in all sennses.

The people I encountered at the front desk weren’t very friendly, and my bathroom overwhelmingly smelt like ammonia.

We would rate Hotel Pendini the top hotel for several reasons:  location, price, accommodating staff, easy access, local knowledge for restaurants and activities, quality of the accommodations, quiet setting away from the noise of the plaza.

The views were breathtaking too with the cathedral on its doorstep and perfectly located in the heart of everything.

If you want a chic and modern hotel within meters of both Stephensplatz Cathedral and the Underground then you need to stay here.

Our room (a classic suite) was very neat and tidy (which is of the utmost importance to us), quiet and we did appreciate the modern furniture and the cosy feeling attached to it.

Its interior decor and fittings are very modern with an intelligent elevator that reads your floor number from your key card.

We travel a lot and my wife and I agreed that this hotel goes into our pantheon of great hotels.

We enjoyed an absolute breathtaking view of the Stephanplatz Cathedral from our room.

We had a lovely stay at a Cathedral room at Boutique Hotel am Stephensplatz.

We stayed in room 701 which was gorgeous, spacious and light.

Second time at this hotel and it did not disappoint Service was excellent, rooms were stylish, spacious, comfortable and clean.

Get the cathedral view room which was amazing.

The rooms are beautiful with incredible views.

The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was lovely and clean, with little treats of wafers when we arrived

but the rooms are neat, well presented with some having views of the cathedral.

Great room (303) very spacious, quiet and everything we needed - great view of the Cathedral and the Christmas Market preparations, unfortunately we left on 10/11 the day the Market opened!

There is excellent security also managed in the main by that same room key card.

The only drawbacks were that the room was a tiny bit warm even for March, and that the TV had only one English-speaking channel which was the usual Sky News.

It has a relatively small number of rooms so staying there feels more personal than being at a larger hotel.

I paid almost $300 USD per night for a very small room with a twin bed and zero view.

While the hotel is small and the rooms are on the smallish side, it's the perfect place to stay while in Vienna.
