 - - The hotel has a very strange rule about not allowing air conditioning until some unknown date in May.
 - After waiting an hour I asked if I could use the shower - it wasn’t offered to me - and they allowed me down to the spa area My room had no A/C for the first 2 nights.
 - The only downside was that the hotel is old so there is no air conditioning!

 - The lift sounds like it is about to give up!
 - Only gripes - the elevator was decidedly rickety and toiletries and coffees weren’t replenished each day.
 - Our room was on the 2nd floor which is served by two lifts.
 - button in one of the ancient lifts.
 - The elevator is very old, didn't feel comfortable in it.

 - but this is not the Savoy that we expected Entrance hall attractive but rooms are 1950s style with poor heat / air-conditioning - very very noisy from around 0600 lovely roof terrace and staff were lovely too but let down by quality of rooms
 - We could see the lights from the hallway through the air conditioning unit which was slightly annoying when trying to sleep.
 - Not even mention the few minutes load noise like a washing machine at the ventilation system.
 - The rooms are stuffy and dark.

 - Any room that has a bottle opener on the wall in the bathroom raises the memories of the no-tell motel scenes off major highways in the US.
 - Walls are also extremely thin and can hear people next door so clearly and loudly - not kidding when I say You can literallt hear.
 - Nice clean hotel, the walls are a bit thin so you here the persons in the other room.
 -
 - Secondly, the tv in the room was literally the size of your laptop hanging on the wall

 - Friendly helpful efficient staff, great location, amazing roof top restaurant comfortable rooms what more can a tourist in Rome ask for.?
 - The services are all high quality, not least the food, the bar and the spa.
 - Piazza Barberini contained several restaurants, a wine bar, a pharmacy and is right by the Capuchin Crypts.
 - 2) I was a diamond member so breakfast was complementary and definitely worth it because of the wide selection of food.

 - 2) Water pressure in the shower could have been better.
 - When we asked for water we were told only the mini bar bottles were available.
 - some of the jets in the swimming pool do not work, and faucets in the restrooms in the public areas provide no water, indicating overall poor upkeep despite expensive materials.
 - We were given a room (205) that had a huge pipe junction right outside the window that had water gushing down it all night (it wasn’t raining).
 - Unfortunately, I found no hot water.

 - In total we paid nearly 600 dollars for one night: absolutely not worth it and will be avoiding Hiltons and their cost cutting measures for the forseeable future.
 - but nope, all was covered by the points except a minor occupancy tax.
 - We don't usually eat meals in the hotel as they tend to be overpriced and marginal at best.

 - Walking to Piazza di Spagna, Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon were fairly quick, once we learned our way around.
 - 3) Location is right in Barberini Square which is close to the Trevi Fountain, and pretty much walking distance to most attractions 4) The bed & pillows are some of the best I've experienced in Hilton hotels.
