Limited choice at the buffets compared to previous Greek all inclusive hotels.

This a simple resort with an all inclusive approach.

It is absolutely amazing, especially through the all-inclusive format.

Mitsis Alila is a good 5* hotel for an all inclusive family holiday.

The all inclusive was package was probably the best we have experienced.

I’ve stayed in a number of other all inclusive hotels

The inclusive ice cream and crepes on tap was great aswell as the pizza hut on the beach for a mid afternoon top up, one of the best pizzas I've had.

My son took part in lots of the beach actitivties, volleyball, table tennis etc

As an all-inclusive there is absolutely no pressure to tip

The all inclusive is more than worth it as not only will you never go hungry,

Having an ultra all inclusive service, we were presented with a wide range of food and drinks at the main restaurant, several bars, beach pizza place and creperie that ran all day long.

The drinks selection is what makes the all inclusive package stand out when compared to others.

The "all-inclusive" aspect of the hotel was anything

but very impressed , didnt feel like an all inclusive and the staff went above and beyond making the stay memorable .

Air con was good, and minibar is restocked daily and part of all inclusive, as well as coffee maker.

Mitsis alila does indeed have the facilities to be a excellent all inclusive luxury hotel with nice decorations multiple pools,  fine rooms  multiple restaurants and bars, and directly by the sea.

We had a seaview room which was very well furnished, the mini bar was filled every day.

The bar staff are all amazing and work so hard, thank you all for another fantastic holiday, you all make the experience even better.

The rooms and buildings were decorated to a high standard and the entertainment was first class especially by the beach bar where the staff again were superb where Pengelis (hopefully spelt correctly) was first class!

The next day, the service improved around the bars and pool area, which was good to see.

We had a sea view swim up room and it worked out great as we were close to the water slide, lawn and also the bar and theatre.

Maria in the outside night bar made the best drinks.

We were pushed out the way at the night bar by waiters collecting their order.

This was every evening bar staff for the 2 weeks we were there.

Room was clean, and mini bar was stocked up daily, a birthday cake and champagne to room on my husbands birthday was a lovely touch since we didn't request it.

but surely they have made excessive efforts to avoid the normal all-inclusive way with a la carte restaurants and cozy wine bars etc.

Nikos in the Mexican served the best glass of Merlot at the best temperature, bravo, onto the beech area where Savvas was the complete entertainer, as well as being polite and respectful to all, in the Bar area Calypso personality fits in brilliantly with the tone of every evening, looking forward to visiting next year, please book the restaurents in advance

Had a pool room and was worth every penny 
Being able to pre book the restaurants  was a bonus as was the complimentary fizz and birthday cake (again pre-booked)
So many fantastic staff , 2 to single out , Calypso at the night bar and Lindita from the housekeeping team 
The evening entertainment was  also v good .

i would like to mention george the manager that tried his best to find a solution to the problems mentioned later and also to clypso from the night bar that was very helpful and friendly in all days of our visit.

entertainment on the beach bar was also great during the day .

Restaurants and Bars served very good food and beverages.

The bars at beach and the night bar  were fantastic - coffee was best at the beach.

The beautiful lady in the champagne/wine bar is extremely professional and attentive.

There’s many bars scattered around the hotel so you’ll never have to walk far to quench your thirst.

Entertainment in the evenings at the Night Bar was good, varied musical acts.

We got a cake and a champagne in our room when we arrive as it was my birthday and they upgrade us with a Seaview room.We try all the ala carte retsaurants and they were very good,(you should book earlier)
Very good bands for the evening especially the singer Daniel from D-SPOT.

In particular, Magdoulini and Christina in the Champagne bar are just beautiful human beings and a delight to be around, Zozafine in the pitta restaurant is an absolute credit to the hotel and always has a smile on her face, Amalia a lovely young lady, our cleaner Lindita was amazing, thorough and such a lovely lady.

The champagne bar ladies were amazing and every one in the Crepe/ice cream area worked always with a smile.

The champagne bar is a must - Magda and Kristina you looked after us very well.

We were upgraded to a high floor with a lovely view of the sea in honor of our wedding anniversary and sent champagne, fruit and cake to our room.

A number of members of staff are worthy of a special mention - Vasaliki bringing us drinks around the pool (even when we hadn’t asked), Mike mixing up mojitos aplenty at the pool bar and Nicole and Magda in the Champagne bar.

BARS - Once again we were looked after by Nicole and Magda every evening for our Pre & After Dinner Wines at the Wine and Champagne Bar.

Magda and Christina at the champagne bar, offer the perfect service and conversation.

Beautiful room with sea view and welcome fruit and champagne in our room on arrival.

Magda and Nichole in the Champagne bar are probably now much closer friends and create a fun atmosphere that just makes you want to come back again and again.

They arrived at their room with a small chocolate cake, macaroons, fruit, and champagne.

We were lucky enough to visit all the restaurants, the kids loved the crepêrie and us adults loved the champagne bar.

The champagne bar is great for the adults in the evening until 12:30am hosted by Magda who could not do enough for us.

The staff are absolutely brilliant and Nichole in the wine & champagne bar was outstanding.

Having retuned from our 4th holiday in the Alila over October half term break, all I can say it was another amazing holiday had by all 26 of us that stayed here.

Overall we had a great holiday and love greece and mitisis hotels .

We chose Mitsis Alila for relaxing holiday to celebrate my husbands birthday.

but was resolved promptly, the room had a great view of the front and back of the hotel, a really good size, with very good amenities, overall the holiday was great, and the people are the main reason for doing this.

),they both look after their guests so well,as do all of the staff, they're all so cheerful and welcoming despite being so busy & having to work in high temperatures.It was also lovely to see Magda,Christina, Nicole,Evie and Lefteris.We hope to see you all again next Summer.Enjoy the rest of the season and a well earned break!

Fantastic holiday at this wonderful hotel.

But other than some really small things it was a nice break.

Special mention to Alex and Iris at the reception sorting out any inquiries we may had, their restaurant suggestions in the town made our holidays even better!

We had an amazing holiday in Mitsis Alila.

Very comfortable room clean and tidy, only problem in my room no plug socket near a mirror, very relaxing break.

We had a fantastic holiday and can truly recommend Mitsis Alila.

When I purchased tickets for 2 weeks of vacation in Mitis Alila Resort and Spa on Rhodes, Greece, in July 2023 for our family of 5, I could nave had even dreamed at the time of purchasing tickets to paradise!

Sime restaurant waiters very rude not friendly o have witnesseed domw shouting at each other.

Also corridors to rooms are like a echo chamber kids screaming and running around also the bedroom walls are thin and you can hear everything through the walls .

but the queues to get into the main buffet restaurant were horrendous, made worse by the lack of air conditioning in the reception area.

Cons

Food - I hear so many positive reviews

Our kids were also woken at 5-6am each morning with the glass recycling / bin emptying.

We did hear a number of complaints about the size and number of lifts,

We were so sad to hear of how the fires affected the Island and hope that things can return to normal for them as soon as possible.

It was somewhat disheartening to hear certain guests complaining that there were people sleeping on mattresses in the reception at this time as a result of their hotels being affected by the fires.

I sent the hotel an email about it and I am still yet to hear back.

The same complaints were being echoed by numerous guests, signifying deep-rooted issues that the resort seems to be ignoring.

While ordering at the bar the bartender “Pangiotis” was running around shouting at Customers, with his sunglasses on in the bar like he owned the place.

Main negative:

Soundproofing is terrible.

Con's:

- Rooms have no soundproofing, we were woken by a screaming family who hung out in the corridor everyday at 7am.

Not to mention the noise from the restaurants.

Night shows music is played quite loud and late which can bother some (music is clearly audible to most rooms due to stage location).

Fantastic staff, delicious food, a beautiful and clean hotel.

We booked into all the A la Carte restaurants and also went to the Brunch, which was excellent, the burger, pitta, creperie.

As always the staff were outstanding, In particularly Nana & George from the Bruch/burger restaurant.

The food is great, the facilities are very good and they have plenty of spaces to chill even with children around.

The food was also great with a lot of variety.

Deliciuos food and all my allergies always taken into consideration.

Lots of restaurants to chose from all serving quality menus.

We were also looked after in the restaurant by Charis and Gioyl to a very high standard.

The rooms were beautiful and the food at the Al la carte restaurants I cannot fault.

The food at the hotel is very nice especially in the pitta and burger restaurants.

The booking of restaurants was rather not informative for new guest and was very disapointed with the time waiting.

Alika is an outstanding hotel and like every Mitsis we visited, the staff is very friendly and they do everything to to do their best.

After speaking to the deputy manager, he arranged for us to have Al la carte restaurants for the remainder of our stay, a massage and a late check out as an apology, which was very much appreciated.

Lovely Nana in the burger restaurant was particularly kind and helpful and ensured we were catered for.

i felt like at home, enjoy every day and the support 24 hours of all staffs in the hotel.

Also yanis the tall guy in night bar with man bun was excellent too.

Staff were really attentive and made everything we needed possible.

Every evening we experienced the staff arguing with each other.

What stood out the most to us was the excellent service and professionalism from the staff.

Everyone was happy, smiling and super attentive and nothing was too much trouble.

The staff were so welcoming and always helpful.

The food is great, fresh and tastes as if you're just around the corner from Fontanna di Trevi.

Breakfast was delicious, the bar area again beautiful with again stunning views.

The bar and restaurant have outdoor seating, all with spectacular views of the bay of Naples and Sorrento.

The bar upstairs catered for our after dinner coffee, and the piano players or singers would be a very welcome form of entertainment, after a possible day trip, for instance to Herculaneum, which we did, also taking in the sights of Sorrento via the dotto train.

The hotel is very spacious, well maintained and ideal for couples with a nice pool area, a poolside bar serving drinks and snacks and other hotel grounds in which you can relax in the sun.

One particular staff member from the bar, Carhine, was fantastic  and gave us recommendations of local restaurants and bars, gave us a little souvenir and also brought drinks to our room!

The hourly shuttle bus means that you can explore Sorrento anytime you want, or you can just sit in the hotel bar and gaze at the views.

We found the service level overall to be excellent and consistent, whether it be the reception desk, Carla in particular, the porter, the coach drivers, the various bar teams and last

There was a piano and roof top bar which I believe had some music.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first evening with pre dinner drinks in the bar although due to an unexpected thunderstorm the terrace was closed

Pool area was spotless and the pool bar staff and life guards were all lovely and helpful.

but all you have to do is ask and they bring you a basket of gluten free treats including bread, muffins, cereals etc I didn’t have any lactose free alternatives for milk, but with the volume of items on offer at breakfast, including an omelette bar, it wasn’t needed.

the gentleman who works in the bar is the friendliest most kind staff member I have ever met , he gave us endless advice on where to go and what to see and even gave us canvas prints of paintings to take home, amazing !

Lunch menu also good at the pool bar and you can swap your dinner with Lunch if you want to eat out.

but it has a fabulous sky bar for total relaxation during the day.

Great location high above Sorrento with fabulous views across the bay of Naples.

We chose Grand Hotel President the venue for our wedding reception after visiting in April 2022 and being impressed by its incredible view over the whole of Sorrento and the Bay of Naples.

When we sat on our terrace the view was across the swimming pool to the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius in the distance.

We had a sea view of the bay of Naples and Vesuvius which was stunning.

We chose this hotel first and foremost for the view over the bay of Naples, and wow, it was even more beautiful than I could have imagined.

The views of Sorrento, Bay of Naples and Vesuvius volcano are simply stunning!

The rooms are beautiful, we had the suite overlooking the bay with a balcony jacuzzi.

As we opened the patio doors for the first time, we were just wowed as to how amazing the view was, looking out over Sorrento, the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius, just stunning.

Wow 🤩 we were so impressed upon arrival in reception and bar area and delighted with our room location with wonderful breathtaking views across Sorrento and the surrounding bay.

The front desk arranged two great tours for us of Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast.

We visited Pompeii, Naples, positano and amalfi coast.

If you want to eat your breakfast or evening meal looking out on the best view of Sorento and Naples Bay (including Vesuvius) then the Grand President Hotel is the hotel to book.

Stunning views over the Bay of Naples,  and Mount Versuvius,  so high up you could look down on the seagulls and passing helicopters at times.

Room itself with view of town and bay, couldn't ask for better.

An unescorted walk from the Vatican, to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain (dry and covered in scaffolding), Victor Emmanuel Monument, and ending at the Colosseum, with various other sights along the way.

As usual, hotel prices for drinks and snacks were expensive (an Aperol Spritz was 12 Euro as opposed to the 6 to 8 Euro's in town)

Costs approx 40 euro in a taxi so a massive help.

Taxis on average costing €30 or €40 per trip.

We used the service quite a bit and it was well used in general as Taxi prices into town and back were quite expensive and varied hugely, up to 40 euros one way we had heard.

although running every hour we did find ourselves clock  watching and a couple of times had to get taxis which cost 25 euros.

A little more expensive than eating in town,

Due to what we had planned and how much time we were going to spend in our room, we decided not to pay the extra for the sea view room and were happy with our decision.

Don’t hesitate to book unless you like staying out late and are not prepared to pay the taxi fare.

but not between 12.30 to 15.30 which means that if you miss the 12.30 you are stuck at the hotel unless you pay a taxi for 40-50 EUR!!

My quick glance revealed a rather pricey list.

If you miss the bus don't get a taxi unless you want to pay around 30 euros for a 10 minute journey.

but be warned it does have a ' Siesta ' in the afternoon ( taxis back up the hill are expensive and the walk is exhausting !)

however I don't know if it was worth quite the price we paid.

but people did sometimes have to stand and it did put me off staying late in the town because I was worried if it got over full we’d struggle to get back or have to pay a taxi .

We like our food and eat decent portion sizes so asking for extra vegetables was not a problem.

The selection of food was extensive and you could even have a glass of Prosecco.

The flowers, cake and décor were even better than we imagined based on photos – and our guests really enjoyed the drinks reception, evening meal and dancing.

The food, service, entertainment, decor, flowers……..everything was exceptional!

The views are amazing especially from the restaurant terrace at night.

The choice and variety of food provided with half board was superb,

We had half board so enjoyed a meal in the restaurant every night.

The food in the restaurant, especially the a'la carte menu was delicious,  it rates as some of the best dining experiences we have ever had in Italy.. 
Go and see it for yourself you won't get better.

We ate dinner once in the hotel, and that was lovely too.

The food was a perfect amount in each serving.

We particularly enjoyed lunch at one of the jetty restaurants on the 'beach'.

Eating out on the patio area was the icing on the cake for us.

We would definitely consider returning even if the reception staff might want to take some lessons from their colleagues in the restaurant where customer service is concerned.

The food at the hotel was also amazing from breakfast to dinner.

The food was superb, we did half board and thoroughly recommend doing that.

The food (we stayed B&B) was lovely and had plenty selection to start the day!
