 - The room was tiny, and the view was of a building wall which was accross a narrow street / alleyway.
 - However, the rooms are very very small, and the shower you can barely fit in much less turn around in.

 - We wanted to go out to eat for dinner one night and asked the staff in reception for recommendations.
 - but we were able to sit at the restaurant tables which were outside.
 - The hotel is situated right in the middle of Rome just a few minutes walk from the Trevi fountain with numerous restaurants.
 - Minutes from shopping and countless restaurants.
 - Staff was outstanding, both before our stay - arranged tour of the Vatican and dinners - and extremely attentive and helpful during our stay.

 - Two very small old style elevators are helpful if you’re on the upper floors.
 - The lift was small and would struggle to carry many people, we often had to wait for the next one.
 - (even when we got stuck in the lift).
 - Mistake: it was located down in the bowels of the building with no view - and accessed by taking lift to second floor, walking down corridor then taking another lift down to the first floor.
 - To get to our suite, we had to go up one elevator, go to another elevator, and take it one elevator down (this is not standard,

 - Situated right in the heart of the Ancient city, only 10 steps away from the ruins of the Roman Forum, this has to be the most desirable tourist location in Rome.
 - The hotel is right next to the Roman forum and a short walk from the colosseum (both can be seen from the rooftop restaurant, which is lovely).
 - The location is absolutely incredible, within touching distance (literally) of the imperial fora, the Roman Forum is just across the road, and the Colosseum at the end of the street.
 - 10 min walk from “colleseo “ metro station, the hotel is immediately adjacent to the Roman forum and close to many things.
 - As the name of this hotel suggests it is just over the road from the Roman Forum (and only 10 mins walk to both the Colosseum and entrance to the Forum and the Palatine Hill.

 - We like the restaurant a lot,
 - Breakfast overlooking the city and a lovely bar upstairs from restaurant.
 - So many important attractions nearby with loads of wonderful restaurants and bars nearby.
 - La Taverna dei Fori Imperiali, next door, is excellent along with Alle Carrete for pizza.
 - Still, the one evening meal we had was excellent, if pricey.

 - Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated and clean. We had cocktails at the American rooftop bar (oh the views!)
 - Peaceful rooftop bar, staff even happy to open it early for us.
 - Great location, great staff - I always feel safe, and the very best part that keeps me returning sometimes several times a year is Flavio, Paulo and Federico at the roof top bar.
 - The view from both the dining facility to the rooftop bar was beyond belief.
 - The bar on the rooftop is very comfortable with wonderful views

 - Not much space for clothes and not enough power points .
 - Moldy shower, dirty room floors, lots of skipped corners, like missing outlet covers, dirt around the window and floor, missing chunks of wall and paint.
 - Insufficient plug sockets in both rooms and a USB charging cable accidentally left in the first room also disappeared.
 - Only issue we saw was lack of power outlet by the bed which is necessary nowadays.
 - They also need more plug sockets and a mirror in the bedroom area over the dressing table.

 - Location is excellent 5 minute walk from Colloseum/Roman Forum.
 - The hotel was ideally located to see the sights of Rome; the colosseum being a ten minute walk away and you could take a short cut to the Roman Forum down Via Leonina and Via Baccina which took you down the cobble stoned back roads.
 - It's within easy walking distance of the Colosseum, Roman forum etc.
 - It is located a 10 minute walk from the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, as well as close to markets, restaurants, and the all important gelaterias!

 - The staff were very friendly and mostly helpful, the only negative to comment on is that the hotel didn't keep guests up to date about the constant changing situation that was occurring during the coronavirus outbreak.
 - All a fan does is move stagnant air around so the room didn't cool down, and we couldn't keep windows open because of the street noise.
 - Building works outside so very noisy in the morning.
 - A little noisy as located on a main road
 - The only downside to the room was the noise of traffic outside which would wake me early,
