but they offer a very good and effective shuttle bus to all guests and we never had any problem with this and used it in a few occasions.

There is a shuttle bus which is free to take you into Sorrento and runs until 23:30 which is really good.

There are courtesy shuttle buses all day and evening if you do want to go and spend time there.

The Tui reps were very nice and accommodating, we did not book trips direct with Tui and chose to do these ourselves utilising the shuttle bus to get to Sorrento, please note this has to be booked the day before.

The rooftop bar has great views and the shuttle bus down to Sorrento is very good with regular time slots that you can book onto.

The shuttle bus was a holiday-saver (one of my two stars).

First impressions poor you have to drag your cases up two hills to reception and do the return as you leave no welcoming members of staff to assist - your luggage is taken to your room

Make sure do the welcome meeting as they take you to Sorrento to get your bearings and show you where to get the shuttle buses etc and the sunset bar at the hotel is a must as the views are amazing!

There is a very useful regular shuttle bus to the town.

My husband booked this trip as a romantic break after our children left for university.Had I known the hotel was running down to close for the end of the season I wouldn’t have gone.

Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and the weather was beautiful for early October.

Nastro Azzurro has been our favourite holiday destination of recent years.

My Husband and I, my son and his fiancée had an amazing holiday at Nastro Azzuro in September 2022.

but I have stayed at two other TUI Blue resorts for relaxing breaks over the years & I was really impressed with the overall quality.

The staff was one of our favourite parts of our holiday.

We had a brilliant holiday and I would have happily returned if it were not going to Half Board next year.

All he staff are a credit to this hotel and really went out of their way to make our holiday memorable, especially Giuseppe and Vincenzo (Vinnie) in the restaurant and not forgetting Carmeni and Erica in the bar area.

Take the road down from Piazza Tasso to Piazza San Antonio.

but I always enjoyed sitting in one of the restaurants in Piazza Tasso with a glass of something and just people watch.

Follow it round to the left and right at the T junction, this will lead you straight down to Piazza Tasso.

The restaurant is in the main building where breakfast and evening meal are served, we did have one evening meal around the pool area which was nice, the food was very good.

The hotel has two pool areas, one classed as ‘the quiet pool’ where we spent most of our time - no need to rush and reserve spots anywhere as there was always plenty of space.

The pool area is clean and relaxing, despite some of the photographs posted i can assure you it is well maintained.

but spotless inside and out rooms cleaned daily and food spot on and fresh every day staff excellent pool areas clean and tidy would definitely return next year

The drinks were good quality   The pool areas were nice once they heated the main pool shortly after we arrived and there is enough good quality sun loungers for everyone.

The views from the hotel and its Sunset bar and pool area are amazing.

The pool staff were tidying up the pool area and we had good banter with myself learning a little Italian.

Cleanliness definitely needs sorting in public areas, cigarette ends in the same place all week, never swept once, pool area needs cleaning every evening, as same rubbish on the floor every morning.

The pool area is really nice and the sun deck is worth enjoying - it’s not that far from the pool or pool bar.

The pool  area was lovely with plenty of beds and a heated pool .

The pool area had stunning views (mountains and sea), sunbeds were comfortable, the pool warm enough for a wimp like me not to flinch on entry and the whole area kept clean with a bar and a restaurant within paces of your sunbed - what more could you wish for, especially when you were as lucky as we were with the weather?

Pool area was immaculately clean and tidy with pristine sunbeds and was a really relaxing area with great attention from the staff at the pool bar.

The pool area and beds look brand new and to me the resort doesn’t look run down as some of the reviews suggested.

but equally some facilities are really poor.

The gym is poor, no window, smells mouldy & the equipment is very tired/rusty in places.

Firstly food was not of my taste poor choices not warm cold deserts poor choice load of flys outside lunch eating area food not coverd up discusting after two days never bothered eating lunch and went into sorrento town to eat typical all inclusive crap food junk for the thousands we paid what a waste of money it was.

Agree with other comments, coffee in the morning was poor

-Sunbeds were in a poor state and my husbands collapsed under him.

Again finish around pool area is poor and needs some maintenance.

Mostly good poor night on our 25th Anniversary evening pool party spoiled it restaurant shut 45 minute wait for an table, dirty table no service had to call an manager over to get water alone, getting food from the self service otherside of the pool food freezing when getting back to the table not the Anniversary meal we wanted at all we paid 2000 each for this holiday.

Big notable change was the lack of good staff that understand what this hotels once was, no consistency on waiters/bar staff, never seen a bar queue so long where table service is promised….cleaning staff again not enough and definitely not the quality, poor attention to detail, not enough towels one day, no clean the next…
There a some issues with maintenance, had to fix the shower myself, the air con blows warm air and makes a horrible noise at night.

The rest of the interiors weren't much better, including our room and especially the bathroom with its dim, flickery fluorescent lighting and poor fixtures being more what I'd expect in something like an old Travelodge or American budget motel.

The food is average at lunchtime and very poor in the evenings.

but unfortunately this hotel was a very poor experience.

The only downside is that I don’t think that this resort would be suitable for people with poor mobility as there were steep gradients and lots of steps to negotiate outside.

but there are plenty of activities available, don't be put off by poor reviews - it's all what you make of it!

We also felt that the evening entertainment could be improved and more activities offered particularly as we had poor weather.

This is not a 5 due to some much needed repair and maintenance in areas, and the poor gym.

but the rest poor - the continental side was ok but the same every day no variables at all and when the bananas were gone they were gone end of.

Cocktails were poor and drinks service was only good if you was a returning regular.

The restaurant is particularly great - this is a gem.

Loved the idea of every other night having a la carte menu.

Seafood night was one of our favourites - the sushi was lovely!

Meals a nice mixture of buffet and Al la carte.

We had the best food we ve ever tasted and totally authentic.

All inclusive service, food and drink was excellent with plenty of space to relax.

The reps were all helpful and the food was delicious.

We love the location, the atmosphere, the food & drink, the attentive staff and the relaxation offered - particularly so since completion of the lower 'Relax' pool.

We where welcomed warmly with a glass of fizz and went straight into lunch.

The food is poor, breakfast is rescued by Salvatore who makes omelettes, Crepes, pancakes and your choice of eggs, the rest isn’t good and they don’t replenish very quickly.

but how are they to know, and there was still things I would eat (I'm just a fussy eater!)

Great food, room cleaned every day and just a lovely atmosphere all around.

Dinner was a great variety and we had two Alacarte evenings.

Sophia our rep was brilliant knows so much and super approachable, we went on the walk around Sorrento with her it was brilliant.

Villa communal is an upmarket place by the sea.

Lovely location with nice surroundings and views.

The hotel is situated with fabulous views  and the staff were all fantastic.

Our room was dated yet spotless with friendly maid service the views at this hotel are to die for.

but did have access to a roof terrace, from which the view was stunning but it is a beautiful area.

We had a 'garden view' room which looked onto some cheap fake grass (not the stuff you buy for your garden,

Beautiful views and rooms lovely and clean.

The views were stunning and the free shuttle bus to Sorrento was around 20 minutes.

We woke the next morning opened the curtains and Wow, Beautiful sunshine and the views were just amazing.

The location is what makes Nastro Azzuro special as the views are just stunning.

Relaxing, peaceful, clean, room was perfectly satisfactory (we don’t spend too much time in the room when away) and nice views.

We took the ferry back to Sorrento again the views.

The hotel is remote with nothing close by (the bonus for this is the views)

We initially were very impressed with our room which was large with a double shower and a good view of the sea.

The coach trip was long and arduous due to an accident in one of the many tunnels on the way to the resort,compensated by the amazing views as we got ever closer to Sorrento
However we eventually arrived at Nastro Azzurro.

Great atmosphere in the casino with a lot of people having a lot of fun!

The food was delicious, the casino had a wealth of options, and there the art installations were great; it truly felt like there was always something to do within the hotel, whether on the Venetian or on the Palazzo side, it was so much fun!

Formula One was great and I could not have picked a better casino to enjoy the race with.

I have been to the casino on many occasions and had no idea what a great experience it would be to stay as a guest.

The casino is world class best with every gaming table, slot machine, and poker rooms anyone could ever imagine.

Signage and directions were very confusing as they usually are in casinos.

Been coming here for 20 years, absolutely amazing steph, property, location, food, casino and Rewards.

I shopped, had great food, and the Casino was VERY good to me.

My stay was incredible the Cleanliness of my room and the entire Hotel and Casino was amazing.

but clean, other services were fair to good.

The rooms were luxurious,  clean and the view of the Sphere was a nice detraction daily to look out to see what it was displaying.

but you would think for the rates they charge plus an exorbitant resort fee, they would at least clean and makeup your room on day two.

The elevator was beautiful and very clean.

First time stay at Venetion was pleasantly surprised how clean, quiet and comfortable the rooms were.

The room is very clean and the furniture is well maintained, no issues in my 3 stays that I've did in the last 7 years.

The bathrooms in the casino area were always very clean.

The rooms were impeccably clean the decor of the entire hotel was exquisite in its detail and the temperature of the hotel was fantastic -even in massive crowds.

However everything else was great, the rooms are big, clean and spacious, perfect if you have a family as there is more space for everyone to relax.

The redeeming quality is that the property and rooms are beautiful and clean.

but if you like a classic, clean vibe then 100% recommend.

Check out was a nightmare due to an overcharge.

Or maybe the housekeeper  gets a commission on the charge if they report it???.

And if you bothered to move anything then you would be charged.

Parking is now charged even if you're a guest.

He aggressively taps it and says “can either of you not read?”  “This clearly says to scan your card”, “you either can’t read or you are stupid”.

They are now charging a ridiculous $29 per day for something that has been complimentary for years and years.

but said they could not remove the charges without approval from a manager.

They didn’t provide paper maps except the itty bitty map on the key card envelope.

But i think it would be better if there is a guidebook about the charges (especially for foreign tourists like me), i'm really confused about the resort fee and parking fee. .

Then later, after spending time in the room and deciding maybe I should consider paying the up charge, I was told nothing was available.

Customer no service with hours to correct wrong billing.

I called amex they said hotel never updated their information.

Only negative is quirky snack and beverage trays in rooms that charge you if jostled and one crabby card dealer.

but it would be much better if you can request that from the reservation/check-in time for no additional charge.

Our first assigned room had a dead battery in the key card device so we couldn't get into the room.

but surprisingly at the reception they charged us 2100 U$, that is an additional 300 U$, this is a lack of transparency and is not correct .

but for the price that Venetian charges, they need to do better to ventilate the rooms.

but returned them, and was notified at the reception desk that they would not be charged and the deposit would be returned, we received the receipt confirming this.

In fact, the (very empty) mini fridge that was in the main room was trapped behind a cabinet door that you had to force open all the way in order to be able to open the fridge door.

WiFi in room didn’t work - had to call to get at IT tech up next day to get me connected

Mini fridge in room cannot be touched or emptied or you will be charged 
Hotel is packed day and night.

One point that I wish was there by default is a refrigerator in the room, I believe that can be requested from the front desk for an additional fee,

but even though they call them suites, there are no mini-fridges, microwaves, or coffee machines in the rooms.

All extras like parking, or requesting a mini fridge, or even basic extra requests are not included in that fee.

Staying in room 17 211, we took nothing from the stocked fridge or the drink/snack tray.

There was no refrigerator so suggest you buy a cheap ice chest for your food / drinks.

I dislike the fact there is no coffee maker in the room, so I take a tiny keurig.

However, I did not like that the fridge was not usable as it was pre-stocked with mini-bar items that you get charged for if you move, so no place to store water bottles (water bottles you must bring yourself, because this hotel does not give you any for free).

The only complaint i have is the fridge is loaded with the hotels overpriced refreshments therefore the is no space available to put your own groceries or medications.

Don't touch the drink and food that are lying around or the stuff in the fridge.

The staff were rude and unhelpful yet very helpful and accommodating to the “rich” men who were asking for an extra fridge and the concierge could not do enough for them.

The only downsides were; no coffee and tea making facilities in the room and  no room in the fridge for shop bought water or drinks, I presume this is a money making thing.

Spoke with someone at 10am asked to clean my room she said 5 minutes it’s  after 1 pm I left came back nothing done asked again no one came I’m over it I cleaned it myself for over a $1k y’all can’t clean my room and NO refrigerator it’s full with sale items if you move it you will be charge so where do I put my water?????

For us the fact it lacked a fridge, and the size of the hotel are small disadvantages.

I enjoyed the shoppes, the indoor water, and the faux Piazza San Marcos.

It opened May 3, 1999 at a cost of $1.5 billion on the site of the old Sands Hotel and features art and architecture on a Venice theme (Palazzo Ducale, Piazza San Marco, The Grand Canal, St. Mark’s Campanile, The Lion of Venice, Rialto Bridge, etc.).

although the view of the strip was nice and the hotel is beautiful, I would not recommend the Piazza suite.

We stayed in the Piazza View Suite which was felt larger then the 2nd story of our townhome.

I stayed at the Piazza Suite during the last week of November 2018.

Our wedding dinner couldn't have been any better or romantic, with the view of the piazza that we will never forget!
