For lunch we mostly went to the buffet which again was great there were always fresh options and several cooking stations to have things made to your liking, we did go to La Barista too, I loved it there and liked that you can do a sort of Mexican tapas and ofcourse it's on the beach so lovely views!

Few staff shoutouts: 
Daniel at the lobby bar is an amazing mixologist, conversationalist, and comedian
Katya and Jorge at the water sports (we did sailing 2 days) were very helpful and kind
Alberto was a great beach attendant
Emilio and Roberto were superb waiters at the French restaurant 

Our only regret (and it’s a big one for us) is the lack of whiskey/bourbon selection.

ROOM:  Ours was a private villa that is secluded that is very close to the beautiful beach and pool area.

Beaches are beautiful, the bar in the lobby is the best for drinks and specialty coffees in the morning.

Can’t really fault this hotel food and service were top notch, incredibly clean and spacious rooms, beach was beautiful yes a few rocks nothing earth shattering

The resort works constantly to remove the seaweed from the beach.

however this seems a bit of a waste to have the room with some of the best views on the property being wasted as by they time the ala carte is open its pitch black outside so cant see the beach or the ocean anyway.

The beach was nice - the staff was always trying to keep all the seaweed cleaned up from the beach.

I enjoyed spending time at the beach and Jonathan was great!

If you walk up the beach to where it is piled up it does smell.

From the amazing, tireless staff that handles the beach and pool providing set up, towels, wait service anything and everything one could imagine.

Beach or pool side service was hit or miss!

We had a ocean view room, we absolutely loved having our room right on the beach.

We love the property, it is beautiful, the beach is kept very clean

Private beach access with numerous huts and an infinity pool with a lil basketball net + pool bar.

The waiters and bartenders at the pool bar, lobby bar and beach bar are hardworking and amazing too!

Beach has lot of weed so good luck swimming .

but we were at the beach or at a really large open pool.

Sea turtles came up on the beach to lay eggs every night.

In the Colosseum Marta remembered our drink orders.

The hotel closed all the restaurants for dinner and instead held an open community buffet style
Meal at a different area of the hotel property.

but if iberostar truly cares about the environment then would love to maybe see them and the secrets hotel maybe look at ways to help control the damage.

Oh let’s not forget about the spa with great atmosphere great service and one of the best hot stone massages I’ve ever had!

We celebrated my husband's birthday while we were there and they decorated the bed with roses and a left a bottle of champagne and macaroons.

Here’s a summary of our stay:

Resort: 10/10 It is STUNNING it has a neo classical architecture, so endless locations to take nice pictures in.

I especially enjoyed the hard work and joyful vibes from Yodan, Maxi, Raul, Charlie and Mariana.

He has the most exquisite way of cooking that food melts in anyones mouth.

Each restaurant was tastefully presented.

The grounds are a lush green of beauty and the pool area is spacious

butler room that was although a tad bit dated, was comfortable and accommodating.

The décor was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

That family warmth and welcomed atmosphere feels from first minute of arrival to Grand.

Paraiso translates to Paradise and it did not disappoint from the architecture, the landscaping, and the amazing beach.

The architecture and grounds are meticulously maintained.

A responsible movement towards the environment that was good to see.

Luis made some great drinks at the mixology bar at night.

Gabriel at the pool bar remembered our drinks after a few rounds and was always a joy to talk with.

The food at the evening restaurants was disappointing 

Drinks we’re just OK; straight shots of tequila we’re better

My ex is a member and has access to the star prestige area,

The drinks were all made right on the spot (which I loved) and were very tasty as well.

Maya and Rosa were on top of it when it came to making sure we had drinks while in the pool.

From ice to drinks, snacks in the room, restaurant recommendations and reservations, you name it, they took care of it.

Pro tip: be on the lookout for Luis making fresh fruit cocktails near the pool with his drink cart.

If you want coffee after dinner, one must take a golf cart to the Maya which has a great coffee shop and a nice common/bar area to sit and have a drink.

The drinks are made with top-shelf liquors and there is a more than adequate assortment of beer brands to quench the discerning guests.

but the service was a bit hit or miss there, but still had a great time and tasty drinks.

Wet bar with soft drinks, soda, beer, wine, purified water.

We felt the staff was incredible, food and drinks were 5 star quality, amenities couldn’t be better!

My wife said this was one of the best drinks she’s had ever.

butler Guillermo was absolutely great along with Luis at the drink cart everyday!

Aqua fit is also good fun, the pool is huge and looks out over the white sand and glittering sea

Room 
We were upgraded to a room overlooking the quiet pool, it was lovely, huge bathroom and big bed.

I can’t remember names to say personal thanks , so I say a big thanks to restaurant staff, pool staff, entertainment team and our Butler Ivan.

The villa had a private pool, two bicycles for navigating the grounds, and was so spacious it felt like a vacation home.

Maya usually brought us our lunch at the pool cabana from the grill.

There are three pools of the three we preferred the quiet pool in the afternoon as you could really chill out there.

The staff at the pool who took care of us and made it a point to come see us every day, not to mention they remember you year after year.

but the pool concierge team and star friends team really go out of their way to make sure we are happy.

I picked up tiles with my feet and handed to pool attendant.

but the sea was compensated by a huge deep pool of salt water.

She contacted the hotel in advance to say it was for a special occasion and they gave us a room upgrade close to the quiet pool on the middle floor which was a nice surprise.

Our faves were the quiet pool area, the workout space, amazing restaurants, and waking up ocean side to the sunrise.

but the installation has one of the saltwater pools near the sea.

We spend a great deal of our vacation at the larger swimming pool and we would like to acknowledge our friend Mirna, pool concierge, for her excellent service.

Hubby enjoyed time at the pool with activities with Raul and Yodan and Mariana were always fun and enjoyable, we don’t like pushy entertainment and that was subtle

We did try all of the restaurants at The Grand and around the resort.

Food was faultless, something for everybody’s taste, we ate in all the restaurants, we’re not usually keen on buffet service,

The service was exceptional, pool/beach chairs were abundant, and the food was phenomenal.

I’m going to start by saying that the food was absolutely amazing.

Let me preface this by saying the Grand was an awesome resort that was worth the extra money just for the food alone.

Food was better than I expected for an all inclusive.

We were there 7 days and never had the opportunity to eat at an ala carte restaurant with reservations before 8 pm.

The food, the pampering and wonderful staff.

butler on our second day and he booked us in for most of our stay so I would advise booking immediately on arrival if you want to see the menu all you have to do is scan the restaurant QR code at the entrance simple as that.

They did a fantastic job of taking extra precautions with food preparation and were sure to cook with clean pans and utensils when asked.

Everything was top notch - rooms, service, restaurants, bars, pools, territory.

but this gives a great option that doesn't involve more food or alcohol.

It stunk, the customer service was awful, and the bathroom was falling apart.

Rooms were dark and cramped, without any amenities - ice machine out of service, iron broken, had to call for shampoo and soap - no hot water.

but the water pressure for the shower was the only problem!!

Bathroom was filthy as if it hadn't been cleaned before we arrived.

The only issues was the lack of hot water and didn’t have hand soap in the room when got it.

Room could be updated leaky shower head had a washcloth on top to keep from spraying phone reception poor in room.

Dated bathrooms in the guest rooms and thin sheets.

Bathroom dirty especially the hair in the shower.

We had a flooded carpet outside of our room with a fan running all night, and they were not willing to change our room until the second night when it was too late for us to change it.

they extended my checkout by 1 hour, so it could be used at either starbucks, the pyramid cafe, or the buffet in Excalibur (the only options for breakfast within walking distance) realized too late it had been infested with cockroaches when i turned on the bathroom light in the middle of the final night and three scattered on the counter (one was on my toothbrush).

I’ve never seen a hotel charge for refrigerator and then when delivered it doesn’t work properly and there is no rack inside to put your items.

No coffee, no body wash, no towel holder on shower door and check in was delayed.

the bathroom sink drain was absolutely disgusting, would back up with water, and stunk like sewage.

There were hairs in the shower, no shower gel in the container, hairs next to the toilet and dirty towel.

Toilet flooded, bathroom smelled like urine after they cleaned it!

Full trash cans, dirt towels all over, used bars of soap in the shower, dirty sink.

2 out of 4 elevators were out of order for our room section, digital keys didn't work, bathroom sink when turned on smelled like a sewer restraunts could not accommodate the crowds and knowing the crowds you have a dinner buffet could have helped alleviate some of that and overall way over priced

Bed wasn't made everyday, bathroom towels were never replaced.

Also, sharing soap dispensers is pretty gross, go back to individual packaged soaps and shampoos.

Much offered here, restaurants, entertainment, rooms were spacious and kept reasonably clean.

The rooms were great, place was huge and clean.

Luxor is clean, hospitable and walking distance to Allegiant stadium; plenty of entertainment aside from gaming; meal offerings abundant; easy access to tram for Strip exploring; rewards offered are of varying tastes.

The room was clean and everything functioned as it should.

The staff we encountered were great and for the room was clean.

Room was clean and updated and bed was comfortable, room was quiet.

My room was clean, quiet and comfortable and I had a great 3 day stay.

Great stay cant complain just in the future i wish they wouldn't take so long to bring me a iron, other then thay Great stay ill be back again for sure, everyone was Friendly, casino was clean didn't smell like cigarettes.

I always have a great stay in a 2 bedroom tower suite, clean, quiet and easy to access the other casinos.

the resort is looking shabby and run down, carpets need cleaning, power wash the filthy parking elevators and walk way into the hotel.

Your elevators were turned off during the construction and no one notified your stafff so your staff could tell people that, the elevator was closed so we were stuck downstairs for a bit till we got help which was way later on.

elevators that don't work, dirty sheets and a broken bed, and employees who don't care and lack empathy.

Hot water took up to 10 minutes, bluetooth key on phone didn't work, elevators broke, internet worked intermittently.

The only bad thing we experienced was the elevators.

An hour wait in line for the one working elevator is ridiculous!

The same mess was on the carpeting in the halls and elevators several days in a row.

button for the elevator was hanging out of the wall by it's wires. Dangerous

Rooms are dated, halls are dirty, half elevators are broken (elevator wait time is 20 minutes), breakfast wait time is 30 minutes and it’s $30 per person (welcome to Vegas!).

The elevators are really dirty, slow and the emergency phone units are all bashed in.

Elevators are filthy , rooms , walls and restaurants too.

but multiple elevators are broken requiring you to walk long ways to go up/down.

We got stuck in the rundown inclination elevator, one of four was totally out of service.

Casino and Hotel is lacking entertainment the food choices are more fast food than restaurants it only offers a Mexican restaurant and the rooms can use a face lift my bathroom shower was leaking water on the floor.

Some rooms near the elevator can be a bit noisy.

The elevator cabs lobbies were terribly worn.

The elevators were a constant frustration.

The staff at the front desk were very friendly.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and the check in and check out processes were seamless.

My stay was great, lots of friendly people staying the night as well.

All staff we encountered was super friendly and very pleasant.

Employees make you feel welcome and do a great job of doing that very friendly staff.

The housekeepers were very nice and friendly.

The restaurant choices are good, I especially love Diablos and the entire staff that I interacted with are so nice and friendly.

Great stay great value the staff was very friendly and helpful would recommend friends and family members to stay at luxor convenient to the strip had pretty good luck if I had one complaint it would be the buffet for brunch the breakfast side was not good at all for the price of the buffet.

Staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Customer service was amazing and rooms were clean front desk was accessible pretty quick and friendly.

Other than that the rooms were clean, stuff was friendly, housekeeping was amazing and the overall experience was gr8!

but wish I didn't have to pay extra to not have a parking garage view for our 30 year anniversary,  Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I will say that the front desk staff was helpful and friendly, and the food, while expensive, was of decent to high quality.

The food court has a variety of food to choose from, and the other restaurants have a variety of food.

The casino was well maintained and the restaurants we when to were all great especially the pyramid cafe.

Food court is great like that they added more variety places to eat from .

Other than that, the food, and room were amazing in the Luxor!

The restaurants there are great I haven’t had a bad meal there.

I’d recommend more activities to do inside or atleast have a restaurant that closes later than 10pm

Great big room , all night open restaurant, one of the best adult show “fantasy” on the stripe, all in all good entertainment, have stayed here couple of times now , good casino, walkable to other must see hotels
