So because our ride was waiting, we lugged the luggage up and down the stairs to the elevator ourselves.

The elevator is really small and could barely fit 2 people and 2 luggages.

While we should have heard noise from our neighbors, the street, and the elevator, not once did we hear a peep, which made the Hotel B a great break from the noise and bustle of the city.

It has only 1 small elevator and it takes sometimes a while till it gets to you.

The hotel footprint is quite small and accordingly everything inside the hotel is small from the door to the hotel to the lobby and halls and elevator and most importantly the rooms.

There is one small elevator, appropriate for a hotel of this size and with little wait time.

Elevator was very small and air conditioning was not very cold (typical for Europe).

One thing awkward about the part of the hotel where we stayed was the need to go up and down stairs to get to the elevator (4th floor).

We were in Room 48; took the elevator to the 5th floor, then walked down 2 short flights of stairs and hallway to our room -- similar to a room we had at Banff Spring Resort years ago!

The hotel has a brand-new Schindler elevator that holds 6 people.

You should request a room away from the stairs and elevator.

The elevator was broken and was only fixed as we were checking out.

The elevator was also small and slow and I had to go up four flights of stairs,

- No kettle
- Lift doesn't work properly, as it doesn't stop at level 1 and 2

There have been recent renovations to the elevators and the showers.

Hotel is centrally located in Piazza Bernini-close and easy walking to all the sights and shopping and restaurants are everywhere.

Location is great, via Vento  meets Berbarini around the corner, cool feel, 15 mins or so walk to the heart of things, there's a metro at the square and there's a lovely walk to the Spanish steps which are very close, nice walk up from the hotel brings you out at the top of the steps.

It was a great location within easy walking distance to many sights and surrounded by numerous great restaurants.

The hotel, located in the Piazza Barberini, is close to all the main sights including the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Borghese Gallery, Pantheon, Colosseum etc.etc.

The only downside is that, due to its small footprint, the bar and breakfast room are not large; most of the rooms are on the small side, as well.

We were supposedly given a room upgrade and our room was tiny, I dread to think what room we would have had.

Note that rooms are on  the small side - if you're travellng with large luggage, you may be challenged.

There is one key in the “traditional” form that has to be returned to the reception every time you leave your room (not the “smart card key” situation here), the breakfast area is divided in 3 small rooms, so you have to book your time slot in the reception the night before.

We stayed in an understated, off site, apartment just across the piazza from the main hotel to “Live like the Romans do!” We still received full support from the staff, access to the rooftop terrace at our leisure, bar service, housekeeping, etc.

The hotel is in a wonderful position, a walk away from all of the main sights, and a stone’s throw from a perfect neighbourhood bar (Il Baretto I’m looking at you) and Carbonara to die for (Hello, Osteria da Fortunata).

The views from the roof top bar were outstanding.

The Campo itself has loads of great restaurants and bars and the little bar opposite the hotel is perfect for a breakfast start (lovely staff, good service and great coffee).

We received full guidance on the area, the nearby attractions, recommended restaurants and bars, etc.

There is a fantastic rooftop balcony with bar service, and the front desk staff were always so happy and helpful.

There is a great little natural wine bar called L’angolo Divino just across from the hotel that I had planned on visiting, so was a lovely surprise to see it was practically next to the hotel!

So clean that I found myself looking for a spot of dust anywhere, the hallways, elevator, stairways, because I just couldn’t get over it.

Lift in the building was so small that it barely fits only two person or one person with 2-3 bags.

If the hotel is fully booked we take a suite in one of the annex apartments associated with the hotel (note: no elevators in these building).

The building is date back to the 1600's so there are no elevators.

Yes, our 6th floor room was small and the tiny elevator only goes as high as the 5th floor so you need to use the stairs to reach your destination.

Rooms and common spaces are small, elevators and hallways microscopic.

Booked the apartment, which was unfortunately on the top floor with no elevator.

but like most elevators there they are small and hold about 3 people.

We only were aware of signage in the elevator stating that the upper terrace would be unavailable due to the work.

Our room was right outside the elevator on the 5th floor, even with that we never heard it open or people talking, extremely quiet.

You have to walk through the square to get to the apartments, and once there note that there are not any elevators (again not a problem, just be aware).

Hotel has an elevator up to floor 5, so to get to the terrace it's just one flight of stairs.

The primary downside is the currently, the elevator does not work.

Best thing going for this hotel is its location.

The hotel has a great location: near Campo di Fiori, 5 mins from Trastavere, lots & lots of restaurants, 10 mins to the Trevi Fountain, etc.

Hotel is in a great location right around the corner from the Campo de Fiori marketplace which is bustling daily with flowers, fruit and vegetables, souvenirs and more…also great for walking or taxi ride to most major sights.

The location is perfect too—with restaurants and a market just outside the hotel, proximity to Piazza Navona, and walking distance to many other treasures of Rome.

The location is excellent for walking  and other access to all major destinations within the city - 10 minute walk to the Pantheon, 18 minutes to Trevi Fountain, 10 minutes to Trastevere etc.

The reason is that all the stress you have about how to get from the airport, what will we do for breakfast, what sites do we see and how do we get to them, what restaurants are the best??

Each eveing before leaving for dinner we enjoyed the roof top area - the view is lovely.

Great email contact in advance, including restaurant reservations  - they couldn’t have been more helpful.

Everyone who works here is fabulous, they helped us via email to secure dinner reservations, and during our stay went out of their way to make sure we knew where we were going, ready to offer suggestions, make arrangements for us and frankly just being friendly, courteous and kind!

The staff was very friendly spoke English and gave excellent suggestions on tours and meals.

There is a wonderful market right around the corner, and excellent restaurant options within short walking distance.

Every recommendation for food and activities was perfect.

We were overjoyed to be back at this amazing hotel, which has a wonderful location, a ton of shops and restaurants close by, and a hip attitude.

Shower enclosure in the bathroom was so small that somehow one can fit in to take shower.

The bathroom was tiny and was missing some of the boutique touches we were expecting.

While I liked the concept of the washroom’s tiny rain shower, the execution was very poorly done.

but because of space issues, the shower was very small.

Staff was incredibly helpful and got us access into a Villa Borghese tour.

The most inconvenient major spot is the Villa Borghese, and that was probably just a 30-40 minute walk.

We had a tour of the villa borghese with an art historian and a tour with an archaeologist of the forum and coliseum.

We were able to walk everywhere including the Colosseum, Piazza del Popolo, the Villa Borghese and many, many more.

however we had booked tickets online in advance to the Villa Borghese - very easy to do, the tickets arrived by courier within a few days of buying them.
