The daily breakfast was made to order along with a beautiful tiered selection of meats, cheeses, fruit and pastries brought to your table.

The bar is nice and the breakfast very good.

The hotel served breakfast every morning that is absolutely delicious.

We walked to everything:  the Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Via Condotti for shopping.

The location is perfect …   a 1 :60 walk to the metro and within easy walking distance to Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, shopping on Via Condotti and numerous restaurants.

Perhaps best of all, Barocco is a short walk to the Spanish Steps and the shopping delights of Via Sistina, Via Condotti and Via Corso.

The location is excellent close to Rome's artery Via del Corso, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and the up market shops of Via dei Condotti.

So because our ride was waiting, we lugged the luggage up and down the stairs to the elevator ourselves.

The elevator is really small and could barely fit 2 people and 2 luggages.

While we should have heard noise from our neighbors, the street, and the elevator, not once did we hear a peep, which made the Hotel B a great break from the noise and bustle of the city.

It has only 1 small elevator and it takes sometimes a while till it gets to you.

The hotel footprint is quite small and accordingly everything inside the hotel is small from the door to the hotel to the lobby and halls and elevator and most importantly the rooms.

There is one small elevator, appropriate for a hotel of this size and with little wait time.

Elevator was very small and air conditioning was not very cold (typical for Europe).

One thing awkward about the part of the hotel where we stayed was the need to go up and down stairs to get to the elevator (4th floor).

We were in Room 48; took the elevator to the 5th floor, then walked down 2 short flights of stairs and hallway to our room -- similar to a room we had at Banff Spring Resort years ago!

The hotel has a brand-new Schindler elevator that holds 6 people.

You should request a room away from the stairs and elevator.

The elevator was broken and was only fixed as we were checking out.

The elevator was also small and slow and I had to go up four flights of stairs,

- No kettle
- Lift doesn't work properly, as it doesn't stop at level 1 and 2

There have been recent renovations to the elevators and the showers.

Hotel is centrally located in Piazza Bernini-close and easy walking to all the sights and shopping and restaurants are everywhere.

Location is great, via Vento  meets Berbarini around the corner, cool feel, 15 mins or so walk to the heart of things, there's a metro at the square and there's a lovely walk to the Spanish steps which are very close, nice walk up from the hotel brings you out at the top of the steps.

It was a great location within easy walking distance to many sights and surrounded by numerous great restaurants.

The location as perfect: it was central to many of the wonderful sights of Rome, and convenient to the metro.

The hotel, located in the Piazza Barberini, is close to all the main sights including the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Borghese Gallery, Pantheon, Colosseum etc.etc.

The only downside is that, due to its small footprint, the bar and breakfast room are not large; most of the rooms are on the small side, as well.

Our room was a bit small and lacked a full length mirror (one was provided on request),

We were supposedly given a room upgrade and our room was tiny, I dread to think what room we would have had.

The room might be a bit small similar to all other hotels in the center

Note that rooms are on  the small side - if you're travellng with large luggage, you may be challenged.

There is one key in the “traditional” form that has to be returned to the reception every time you leave your room (not the “smart card key” situation here), the breakfast area is divided in 3 small rooms, so you have to book your time slot in the reception the night before.

but we stayed 4 nights and the room is so small it became quite oppressive.

The staff was so helpful we arrived in Citavechia from our Cruise and the hotel help us arrange a private driver from the port to the hotel which was on time in a Mercedes and waiting for us with a sign, we got a great room, breakfast in the hotel is so good and the location is amazing just steps from the trevi fountain and the Spanish steps , would come over again and recommend 100%

We stayed in an understated, off site, apartment just across the piazza from the main hotel to “Live like the Romans do!” We still received full support from the staff, access to the rooftop terrace at our leisure, bar service, housekeeping, etc.

The hotel is in a wonderful position, a walk away from all of the main sights, and a stone’s throw from a perfect neighbourhood bar (Il Baretto I’m looking at you) and Carbonara to die for (Hello, Osteria da Fortunata).

Charming boutique hotel with near by market, cafes , restaurants , shopping and bars.

The views from the roof top bar were outstanding.

The Campo itself has loads of great restaurants and bars and the little bar opposite the hotel is perfect for a breakfast start (lovely staff, good service and great coffee).

So clean that I found myself looking for a spot of dust anywhere, the hallways, elevator, stairways, because I just couldn’t get over it.

even though it was next to the lift you would have never known.

Slight trepidation on arrival at being allocated a room by the first floor lift (number 104)

Lift in the building was so small that it barely fits only two person or one person with 2-3 bags.

If the hotel is fully booked we take a suite in one of the annex apartments associated with the hotel (note: no elevators in these building).

The building is date back to the 1600's so there are no elevators.

Yes, our 6th floor room was small and the tiny elevator only goes as high as the 5th floor so you need to use the stairs to reach your destination.

Rooms and common spaces are small, elevators and hallways microscopic.

Booked the apartment, which was unfortunately on the top floor with no elevator.

but like most elevators there they are small and hold about 3 people.

We only were aware of signage in the elevator stating that the upper terrace would be unavailable due to the work.

Our room was right outside the elevator on the 5th floor, even with that we never heard it open or people talking, extremely quiet.

You have to walk through the square to get to the apartments, and once there note that there are not any elevators (again not a problem, just be aware).

Hotel has an elevator up to floor 5, so to get to the terrace it's just one flight of stairs.

The primary downside is the currently, the elevator does not work.

Best thing going for this hotel is its location.

The hotel has a great location: near Campo di Fiori, 5 mins from Trastavere, lots & lots of restaurants, 10 mins to the Trevi Fountain, etc.

Hotel is in a great location right around the corner from the Campo de Fiori marketplace which is bustling daily with flowers, fruit and vegetables, souvenirs and more…also great for walking or taxi ride to most major sights.

Staff is friendly and an amazing location!

The location is perfect too—with restaurants and a market just outside the hotel, proximity to Piazza Navona, and walking distance to many other treasures of Rome.

The location is excellent for walking  and other access to all major destinations within the city - 10 minute walk to the Pantheon, 18 minutes to Trevi Fountain, 10 minutes to Trastevere etc.

The reason is that all the stress you have about how to get from the airport, what will we do for breakfast, what sites do we see and how do we get to them, what restaurants are the best??

Each eveing before leaving for dinner we enjoyed the roof top area - the view is lovely.
