It’s five minutes by bus and the bus stop is Right outside the hotel and cost €1.30 .if you choose to walk it’s about 20mins and there are very little paths, more of what I would call bike lanes .

There is a bus stop just outside of the hotel which takes you to Sorrento.

There is a bus stop at the entrance to the hotel, the bus takes you into central Sorrento or down to the port.

There is also a bus stop outside the hotel where a private bus service runs a bus to Sorrento.

There is a local bus stop right outside the hotel with regular services to and from Sorrento centre or you can easily walk which will take around 35 minutes.

The local bus stops outside the hotel to take you to Sorrento and just up the road is the station and a supermarket.

There’s a bus stop outside hotel to take you into Sorrento or just up the road is train for Naples, Herculaneum and Pompeii.

The hotel is well situated with the station only a short walk away & a bus stop right outside the hotel.

There is also a bus that stops right outside the hotel that takes you there for only a couple Euros.

Although the hotel is located in a quiet, residential area of Sant'Agnello, the local bus stops at the hotel door and the train station is just a short walk away.

The hotel is ideally placed for the train station if you want to go one stop to Sorrento or a longer journey towards Pompeii and Naples and there is a bus stop a minutes walk from the hotel gate.

The trevi fountain is amazing and just so beautiful and is behind all the local shops in a little square.

We ran around Rome in 40 degree heat to take in the Vatican, Spanish steps, Trevi fountain and back to the pick up point.

We loved going to Caffe Temporis for a snack and where we were always made very welcome and received great service, as well as the Pasticceria Bar Gelateria on Viale dei Pini (near the new fountain) where we always called in for a gelato and,sometimes a pizza, on the way back to the hotel.

The rest of the hotel was good reception and cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful

From arriving to departing all the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us.

The hotel was in a pefect location and lots of small restaurants and bard close--by.

I read some reviews before we went  about the food and i have to agree with some of them.

Inevitably they weren’t warm and very few people eating it- a bit of a clue that the staff and management should really be looking to improve.

but relaxing.. the pool is absolutely freezing ( no one goes in ) 
the food is 2 stars ( bland & mostly just warm if a good night ) The head waiter never smiled in the 7 nights we stayed was abrupt and  totally uninterested in his guests… it was a good 30/40 min walk into sorrento , not a pleasant stroll  by any means ( especially in the dark) 
+ side it was clean and most of the staff very helpful.. if not happy.

The second night was the highlight of the week - Gala Dinner Night!

The food was very nice, in particular their pizzas!

We found the dinner starters, usually, pastas were huge.

Lovely clean hotel spoilt by the poor quality of the food at both breakfast and evening meal.

There are a couple of restaurants in Sant’Agnello

Food on offer was of good quality and variety.

We were booked in for half board & orginally thought we would eat out at other restuarants for some of our 5 night stay.

I would describe it as canteen food at best.

I am a cook and have a very good knowledge of food and how it’s done.

but slightly repetitive but plentiful, the evening meal was always very good there was Sea Bream & Sea Bass other fresh fish & choice of 3 mains each evening.

The hotel offers a good choice of food for breakfast, lunch and evening dinner, all served in the restaurant or outside.

Dinner at the indoor restaurant was great every night and we really loved every single meal.

The restaurant staff and some of the diners were very amused at our reactions to the full size pizzas ordered as a "starter" .

The restaurant staff were also very helpful and friendly and polite.

however restaurant staff did also come round offering coffee while we were sitting at the table.

All the restaurant staff were very friendly, attentive and efficient and couldn't fault anyone.

One evening it seemed the hotel owners were having dinner next to us and they had all the staff serving them where we were left with uncleared plates as they got all of the attention.

The staff at the bar always kind and smiling as well as the staff at the restaurant and reception.

The head waiter is scary, he scares the guests and all the restaurant staff are petrified of him.

Basic room, basic food and staff on reception (although were very friendly) inconsistent with advice given.

Huge shout out to the  Restaurant  Manager & his  staff   who on a daily basis made you feel special  they were very friendly witty and charming.

It is clear that the staff are very well trained, always greeting you as you passed and particularly attentive in the restaurant.

The girls at reception are so welcoming, as are all of the staff at lunch and dinner as well as the manager.

Had the best holiday ever thanks to Salvatore Luigi and Daniele food and staff were fantastic couldn’t fault it.

Salvatore, the restaurant manager is fabulous as is all his staff.

We asked to be moved so they showed us an equally dungeon like room in the main building at the end of the first floor through a corridor of filthy carpet.

I can only describe it as borderline disgusting, and rather school dinner like.

First brought up in the service elevator from a parking garage because the elevator was broken to than being taken to our room which was dirty and smelly equivalent of an institutional like room.

They have us antother room we booked, the room was horrible, dirty, and smelt.

Bathroom smells awful and next door tv sounds clearly in to the our room.

The only issue is the noise & fumes from the road that runs alongside.

Very claustrophobic 
Because of all of this and the noise and smells of fumes our terrace was unusable.

The floor tiles are shiny and dangerous when damp.

On a separate occasion the drainage underneath the bath began to leak and flood the bathroom floor.

but at least allows you to burn off your breakfast calories.

but whenever we sat out on the balcony it smelled like someone was making crepes.

but it would be nice if the dirty ashtrays could be moved from the windowsills.

The fittings were old and past their best and the toilet had water dripping down the back which had created a damp patch in the bedroom.

Even snoring at night time and heavy breathing.

The pool area overlooks the road, and the noise coupled with traffic fumes can be annoying to the point of frustration.

Although the hotel is in a semi residential area the noise and smell of traffic is constant.

It actually didn't even smell like coffee and fad a look of old used motor oil.

We thought that the gardens were lovely and you coud smell the perfume from the lemon and orange trees before you walked through the gate.

But it’s a busy road down to the view, and I wouldn’t have liked to walk into Sorrento as both routes were narrow in parts, noisy and full of diesel fumes.

Special shout to Mario who delivered phenomenol service every night.

The reception staff can answer every question there is!

The staff in general are excellent and the outside pool and terrace area are well kept.

The pool is lovely & bar staff at the pool bar are very attentive.

They were so attentive and professional; nothing was too much trouble.

All the staff are extremely helpful & polite & friendly.

30 minutes walk to Sorrento or 5 minute train!

Firstly it is all flat and easy to walk around, and has a beautiful seafront, churches etc  Secondly it has excellent transport links, you can leave this hotel and be standing n Sorrento in around 10 minutes by bus or train for just around 2 Euro.

Hotel is handy for train station and it’s easy to get train into Pompeii, Herculaneum, Sorrento etc.

The hotel is a 30 minute walk from the centre of Sorrento or a 2 minute train ride (the train is the better option).

Just a ten minute walk and three minute train ride from Sorrento station.

Location is good as in nearby trains to local destinations.

It is a small family hotel situated just a 4 minute train journey from Sorrento.

We got the train to Sorrento, Naples, Pompeii and walked to Sorrento port to get a boat to Capri.

The train leaves from a couple of mins away about three times an hour.

The location is very convenient for Sorrento, the train is easy to use

A 5 min cheap train ride gets you to Sorrento

The perfect location for access to Sorrento (via the train, €1.40 pp).

It was easy to walk to the circumvesuviana train catching a train to the center or to pompei & naples!

but in a good location for transport links into the centre of Sorrento by either bus (although we didn’t use this option) or the Circumvesuviana train, which is only €1.40 single and takes 5 minutes.

The train station is only 5 minutes walk and the train into Sorrento only 5 minutes.

Great location with the rail station only 5 mins from hotel.

Luckily there's a supermarket not too far away, left as you leave the hotel and under the railway bridge on the right.

One stop on the train if you don’t want to walk is a cheap way to travel to Sorrento with the line running to Naples.

The location is great for the train station and trains run approximately every half hour into Sorrento which literally takes a couple of minutes and costs €1.40 one way.

but there is a train station close by and for around 1.50€ each way it’s only a few mins journey although the trains stop running quite early.

The staff were always polite, friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

We hired kayaks one morning from the hotel and it was one of the best experiences we had on the holiday, we hugged the coast really early in a morning when the sea and the world was calm, we docked on a beach further up the coast for a short while, the views of the coastline was amazing.

My wife and I recently returned from a week at the Artiem Audax adults only Hotel on Menorca where we enjoyed a wonderful holiday.

This short break could not have been better - such a wonderfully relaxing hotel with attentive, cheerful and dedicated staff, all striving to make our stay a success - perfect swimming, eating, entertainment and sleeping.

Have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing holiday at Artiem Audax.

Only negatives bring smallish room and poor wifi.

but we found what little entertainment there was poor.

Had to eat out most nights sun beds by the pool area at a premium never got one the towel exchange          poor 4 changes in 10 days every other hotel you can change your towels every day  lighting in the bed room very poor over all NOT FOR ME

Breakfast was poor cooked stuff horrible and un eatable so ended up eating fruit toast and ham and boiled eggs most days.

I heard loud complaints on the day of arrival from guests whose room view was poor.

Poor quality, poor choice, poor presentation.

Pool area needs to be cleane daily never once seen it cleaned in 7 days and our room was same level of pool area facing it

Really disappointing that no real restaurant is available and the buffet, even if of good quality, is overpriced, the selection of drinks is poor (i.e.

There was very little meat to choose from and it was poor quality and badly cooked.

At breakfast, compared to experiences we’ve had in other hotels,  there is not enough space for a decent breakfast buffet in the 5th floor restaurant and long queues for hot food /omelettes etc, poor choice of cereals and only limited fruits.

In summery, dirty hotel with poor customer service.

Only entertainment on 2 nights and very poor singer.

but a poor location (overlooking the car park area and entrance) - very noisy - avoid if possible.

Very poor overall, lack of selection of quality food, lack of entertainment, lack of cupboard space in room, also only 2 sachets of milk per day for tea, which meant if both in the room in morning  that's all you could getfor rest of day unless you went down to reception to get more, if they had any, lack of British TV selection, only BBC, unless you were French, German  or Spanish..If you wanted to sit outside for your evening meal you had to pay 25 euros & you got a bottle of wine,

i can only imagine what the poor receptionists and managers have to hear from people taht get as outraged as i got.

The spa was gorgeous, the food, fresh, interesting and delicious.

The evening A La Carte restaurant on level 4 (The Galdana) – an Asia-fusion menu.

Very lovely and helpful staff, especially in the Oliva Restaurant.

Others who were staying on half board did state the food was very good and again lots of choice.

Great choice of food with nightly show cooking.

As it was the end of the season lots of bars and restaurants were closing down

35€ pp for dinner buffet, 24 € pp for spa circuit… they don’t deserve it even quality is quite good.

The hotel and pool area were not clean, the evening meals were abysmal, the only night that was good was the night the hotel had locals staying.

The hotel was fantastic food fantastic and staff were always on hand to assist the gym was well  equipped  and plenty of things on offer to occupy you if you are so inclined the pool and surrounding area was superb with loads of sun beds and staff on hand to provide drinks and snax the room was cleaned every day and towels changed if you required.

We had a lovely few day and we where made to feel very welcome, everything was beautifully clean the food was good the staff were amazing so helpful and pleasant.

Excellent location, great staff, consistently good food and the great spa made for another most enjoyable week in what has become a home from home for us.

Lovely hotel in great location near beach, restaurants and shops.

however we went to lovely Tapas called Alaska one eve.

The staff were particularly pleasant and helpful, the rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the food was great (buffet breakfasts and evening meals) with plenty of choice.

As for the rooms, not the premium product we expected, small rooms, uncomfortable beds, intermittent wi-fi, cold food at breakfast and some strange rules about booking certain sun-loungers?? ?

When we finally got in, the room was tiny.

The rooms are small and oddly shaped, I queried whether we had indeed been allocated a superior room at reception and was informed that all the rooms were small.

The food is average, the room is small with an "old" bathroom and the bed was uncomfortable.

Corridors aesthetically bland and depressing, rooms small

but if that noise doesn’t wake you the vans pulling up to load the supermarket banging their trolleys might if  that doesn’t the noise from 4th floor restaurant might, also the rooms are very small with little storage this is supposed to be a premium room avoid this area of the hotel.

As the rooms are small they get stuffy very quickly with no air conditioning.

however, many rooms that get no view or sun and are therefore not very pleasant and ours felt generally cold and damp.
