 - Only 2 things about this hotel I feel are important to note - the elevator is on the 1st floor, so is not suitable for anyone in a wheelchair, and the bed and pillow were very firm.
 - A few things to def keep in mind: elevator was on 1st level (Italy counts floor 0/ground floor) so you had to walk up a few small flights to get to the elevator for the higher floors.
 - You do need to walk up a flight of stairs to reach the elevator, which may be an issue for some folks.

 - The hotel is also easily walkable to many of the tourist attractions, including a quick 5 minute walk to the Roman Forum or a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum.
 - This hotel is very close to the Roman Forum and the Colosseum.
 - The location is also ideal - well within walking distance to Colosseum, Roman Forum, Trastevere, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, several restaurants and wine bars, and more.
 - The location is great - you are right near the Colosseum and other major attractions yet the hotel itself is a bit set back so you don't feel like you are in a tourist zone.

 - Very friendly staff.
 - All the staff are friendly, helpful and attentive, the main building is over 4 floors with a small lift or 75 steps to the roof terrace and bar / breakfast area, a great central location for all Rome has to offer, a wonderful place to stay.
 - Customer care or maybe it is just good, friendly , kind people, either way we enjoyed & will be back.
 - They are very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
 - Breakfast: This is served in the top floor lounge by two of the most attentive, friendly, and informative people I have ever met in a hotel.

 - but due to the weather we didn't get to use it.
 - Unfortunately, due to on and off rainy weather, the roof top tables and chairs were wet and unusable,
 - Due to time of year the heat had been turned off,
 - Two days before we were due to fly I received an email asking if we wanted to upgrade to a 2 bedroomed apartment.
 - Firstly they let us rebook a non-refundable booking after our flight was cancelled due to snow.

 - The Trevi fountain is maybe a 15 min walk, with the Spanish steps and upmarket shopping not much further.
 - The location is also ideal - well within walking distance to Colosseum, Roman Forum, Trastevere, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, several restaurants and wine bars, and more.
 - It's literally a 5 minute walk to the roman forum, 7 minute walk to the colosseum, 10-15 minute walk to pantheon, around 15-20 minute walk from trevi fountain and 25 minute walk to the spanish steps.
 - Easy walk to the Colosseum, Trevi fountain, and Spanish steps.
 - Not only is the Forum only about 3 blocks away, the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Trevi Fountain were all within a 5-10 minute walk.

 - The inn is on a dead end drive (it ends with stairs and a small fountain), so there is no car traffic.
 - but being able to handle stairs is almost required for touring Rome.
 - This trip, this hotel, is not for people who are incapable of stairs (there is an elevator,
 - very do-able, unless you can't handle any stairs at all.
 - Negotiating the stairs in the night was problematic.

 - Hotel is very close to the Piazzo de Poppolo, once you cross the piazza you are about a 10/15 minute walk away from the Spanish steps and the Trevi fountain so you don’t need to book a trip to see these.

 - The lifts are a bit of negotiation when you have several large suitcases
 - It's an old hotel with all that comes with that; narrow corridors, small rooms, small lift
 - The hotel has very small rooms, the elevator only fits two people, Service at this hotel was very cold and not so friendly.
 - The room we were then given was in the corner next to the lift and was so small we could only just move around the bed and had to move a chair to open the wardrobe.
 - As other reviewers have said -it's two buildings joined together , you need to take an elevator to the first floor then another to any other floors above.
