The Chic show is a must and also the new restaurant/show Bravo!

Chic Caberet is a “do not miss” evening experience!

but it was such a relaxing experience and we enjoyed the spa pool and facilities afterwards. Entertainment wise, we enjoyed attending the TRS CHIC Cabaret show, this was approx $40 each, but for that we got a 5-course meal (delicious!)

Furthermore, the culinary experience, while generally satisfactory, could benefit from a broader variety of options in Chic Cabaret Restaurant.

Le Chic is worth the extra cost to go to.

Night time:
The best entertainment at night was the cabaret show chic, definitely worth the money and one of the best nights we had.

The tranquil and peaceful atmosphere added to the perfection of our stay.

We also used the Spa where my wife had a massage and we both used the hydrotherapy circuit, this is a pleasant place to spend the afternoon to relax with a very chilled atmosphere

Spa and facilities were the state of the art.

The Chic Cabaret show is an absolute must!

butlers, entertainment instructors, the CHIC dancers, hostesses, the gardeners, the cart drivers, baggage gentlemen, the cleaners, towel boys, bartenders, chefs and wait staff.

All food and wine pairings were wonderful in a great atmosphere.

Many adult only pools intimate to large and breathtaking with infinity pools and live music.

Best place fir breakfast : order from the menu or have the choice of anything in a gourmet buffet style

The grounds are stunning and love that they make it home for the wildlife too

Entertainment 
Chic Cabaret is great to try for the evening and the bingo was very fun.

I would recommend Bingo night with CHIC cabaret.

The pool is perfection, the atmosphere is sublime, and the massages we had were amazing.

It was absolutely a wonderful vacation for us!

We can safely say this was the best holiday we’ve experienced.

Also special thanks to the duty manager, Braulio, who did his best to enjoy our holidays and made sure that we could leave in time when our taxi did not show up.

Highly recommend for a special occasion or a luxurious getaway!

This was a great couples getaway destination and I would recommend to anyone looking for a romantic relaxing getaway with great food.

Just returned from a fabulous holiday at TRS Yucatan.

I have never been on such a beautiful, relaxing vacation!

We also would like to highly commend Martha at Helios who was friendly , accommodating , and looked after us throughout our entire holiday.

A daytrip to the maya ruins in Tulum, a snorkel adventure with sea turtles, a swim in a cenote followed with an authentic mexican dinner in a local restaurant of the beaten path, made our mini vacation complete.

Absolutely 100 percent best vacation I have ever experienced.

After two great trips to TRS Coral resort including our wedding back in February 2023 we decided to give TRS Yucatan a try on a long weekend, pre-holiday getaway and it did not disappoint!!!

Luckily, there was a nice couple that had a private company they booked outside of the hotel for airport transport that heard what was going on and offered us to get a ride with them if the company they were with allowed - the company did

We had private reformer Pilates classes with the resorts trainer, Elizabeth, every morning (which are included at no extra charge!).

There is a private TRS section with a bar and food and the ocean is amazing with such soft sand!

Next to our private pool, on the beach, along the winding pathway, in the pretty water feature.

We loved sitting outside by the private pool and using the pool since we went during one of the hottest, humid months of the year there.

Our suite with a large private infinity pool was spectacular and allowed us to seclude ourselves and enjoy some time together each day.

It is surrounded by jungle and felt very private.

We used the jacuzzi a few times, it worked great, was quiet and felt private.

but if I went back in the summer I would get the private pool.

Wonderful breakfasts at Capricho every morning, followed by relaxations at the tidal pool or private TRS beach drinking exotic elixers recharged our batteries.

We also utilized our private pool which had lovely shade on the day we couldn’t find anything.

There is a private TRS beach area about a fifteen minute walk from the TRS main area.

but quite private, and was pleasant at the end of the day.

Whilst there we booked a private romantic dinner at the Ixmucane Grand Cenote which was so lovely.

I feel this one was north worth it than the romance buglalo that was a “upgrade” we were right next to the infinity pool and had a private pool to ourselves.

Very knowledgable, kept to a good schedule and readjusted the trip so we visited the cenote first so we could have a private swim!

It was a great experience to have the option to try both rooms

If you need to take a shower before your room is ready, they have a very clean little private shower space for men and women (see attached photo).

but for the cost, I would expect more than 2 restaurants that stay open.

Maria worked at the bar by the infinity pool grill and she made the best cocktails and drinks and was so nice to us.

Gorgeous grounds, excellent food options.

The New Year eve special dinner was great could use a little more elaborate menu.

We went to Tentazione (Italian dinner) and the food was great.

The French, Italian and Argentenian restaurants were also great.

The food in some of the restaurants  can be inconsistent

He másé great suggestions - this is how we tried one of our best desserts ever (verrine de coco. ).

Helios: The breakfast / brunch buffet spread was incredible.

The food in every restaurant was great and I have never experienced service like this before.

We tried all restaurants and as per usual, the service and the staff were great.

The moonlight dinner, (once a month at full moon) was fantastic, best dinner we had.

however they do smell damp and musty, as does the bedding.

As much as we tried to get rid of the smell, it persisted throughout our stay.

All of our clothes and room smell like mildew.

but smelled like mildew for our entire stay.

The smell was overpowering and our clothes were constantly wet.

The Room-
We stayed in block 69 it did have a musty smell about it, not sure what it is it did not seem to go either whilst we were there, our room had the jacuzzi on the balcony

As it is in most humid places, the pillows and sheets smelled moldy/sour.

The room had a terrible smell and we experienced a power outage twice!

The rooms with the jacuzzi do not have a damp (I use that word lightly no rooms has a bad smell) smell at all they are probably the better condition of the rooms especially top floor the room cleaning and turn down was always perfect .

Would I class it as a 5* hotel definitely not more like 3.5 at a push, room was musty and damp and really smelt, everything looked a bit tired, food was hit and miss, some restaurants were better than others, wine was awful unless you pay more for better wine.

Your basket will consist of stale bread and cold unseasoned steak slices.

This room had no issues with smells or allergy triggers,

Great experience would go agian ,but I wouldn't get the pool suite next time due to the fowl smell coming from the standing water by our room and the cart guys that pick you up if you weren't from their hotel like Colonial they wouldn't take anywhere I would have to wait for an TRS buggy.

The only downfall was a strong smell of drains in our room and the attitude of a male receptionist at Zentropia…we were hardly ever in the room so decided not to complain and for the receptionist…hmm let’s just assume he had a bad day.

People were smoking at the sun loungers and even in the pool despite there being a non smoking policy.

Also, some stains on the toilet and molds in shower room

They advertise the wish list but it was something we never got which was disappointing, daily we had to ask for fridge to be topped up 
Overview the hotel it's nice but  felt there was alot of inconsistencies.

We were not expecting to be choking on cigarette smoke in a country where it is apparently illegal to smoke except in designated areas.

We were on honeymoon so it was about relaxing, last two days was slightly impacted  by next door smoking drugs on the balcony & partying all night.

The Spa is amazing and so are the pools and the beach.

Language barrier (expected based on non-English-speaking location/culture), inconsistent service quality and cleanliness of the spa were the downsides

butlers, reception, spa, bellboys) they were all magnificent.

This year  I needed a longer more intense massage and Victor did an amazing job for me at the spa.

We had massages at the spa and it was great.

The spa was nice, and we enjoyed massages and the hydrotherapy experience.

We got appointments for two massage sessions which were very communicative and accommodating.

Zentopia, the resorts spa and gym were perfect and had everything we needed in terms of weights and cardio equipment.

Other
We enjoyed a couples massage, make sure you go early to enjoy the rest of the facilities and the juice bar.

Spa:  We adored the Zentropia Spa and pool.

The Zentropia spa was a very tranquil and relaxing experience from start to finish.

All three of us had massages at Zentropia, which where nice,

Friendly service from all the staff, from Uziel at check in, check out to the constant attention of our Butlers Antonio, Daniel and Miguel, our waiter Fernando at El Gaucho and rest of the wait staff, pool staff, spa staff, drivers, bartender's and housekeepers.

He taught us Spanish and answered our every question about Mexican culture!

Spanish was also incredible wish we had gone more.

We were escorted to a quiet seating area in the lobby and were quickly provided glasses of cava (Spanish sparkling wine) while we waited.

Diana from the pop team, and David who is normally the behind the scenes camera man gave us a Spanish lesson that was so much fun and a highlight of our trip as we became quick friends!

Plus if you don’t know Spanish, they have an available translator.

There was also a phenomenal pianist-singer, possibly from Switzerland, who captivated us with songs in English, Spanish, and French.

He was able to easily switch from English to Spanish talking to my husband and I (I am Mexican, and he speaks primarily English).

My hubby knows Spanish pretty well so he conversed with Sara who spent a lot of time at our table in friendly and informative conversation.

She tries to teach each me a new Spanish word or phrase every evening.

Fernando was a great help and guide for the resort and all that surrounds it, great conversation and advice on places to eat, even helped with our Spanish, with great service like this the resort is in good hands.

Their instruction was great, seamless in English, Spanish and French all at the same time!

We took lessons on Sushi, Guacamole, healthy drinks, tequila tasting and of course Spanish lessons.

He was so welcoming, professional and great fun to speak with him in multiple languages (Spanish / German / English).

I can speak some Spanish, like hello, please, thank you etc,

I was amazed by how many of the staff remembered me.

The entire staff is so kind and accommodating.

We’ve traveled all over the world and have never had a more considerate attentive and kind staff ready to help us in every way.

We had Victor as our server and he was so kind and happy.

The staff at TRS Yucatan were so friendly - whether it be the serving staff, housekeeping or maintenance - it didn’t matter who they were, when they walked by they always had a smile on their face and said hello.

Staff basically did everything they could to say yes to every request.

Susana, our concierge, was a delight and went over and above to help make our experience amazing - they did a special birthday room for my special day too!

This was our 4th trip to Mexico and first time at TRS Yucatan, it’s the best one we’ve stayed in - I would highly recommend this hotel if you appreciate attentive service

Service was very professional, quick and preview.

The staff in general is very friendly and helpful, waiters, cleaning staff etc.

but specifically enjoyed seeing some of the staff from prior trips.

but they were very pushy, so much so that we declined wine towards the end.

butlers were Triana and Patricia they were very attentive and informative and took very good care of us.

Chic was worth every penny all the performers were amazing the singers hit every note the dancers never missed a step and the food was out of this world I love trying new things and boy did I eat everything they gave .

We were here 8 years ago before their major renovation, the improvements are very notable, a definite step up.

but this year we came to TRS and experience was extremely fantastic..beyond words
We began at reception with elsi superb smile and efficiency 
Then we proceeded to room bldg 66 with our butler josue and belen who went above and beyond our expectation..always one step ahead of us to assist our every need
To top it off ..food was superb and service Helious lunch was overtop with out waitress Guadalupe Varella and Saul Ariel.

During check-in, Esli made sure we understood the resort and escorted us to the next step.

The food at the restaurants was a step above other all inclusive resorts on the Yucatan.

They went above and beyond at every step and really made our trip so special.

We liked this end of the beach for a few reasons…once you get past two-three steps over rocks, the sand is soft and swimming is great; it’s is close to the bar for drinks/towels; and the bathrooms behind the bar are so clean.

We could walk a few steps to Helios for breakfast and hit the pool by 9 am everyday!

but the TRS was a huge step up from there.

though VIP was five steps below what we were experiencing.

And he made step out of my shell and try the French place for dinner OMG!

Abraham drinks waiter on 20s night worked tirelessly up and down the steps at Las Rocas.

Everything that you was a step up - the room was bigger than our usual,  more modern, stuffed with extras like luxury shower gels etc, room service was quick and tasty when we ordered it, the

Every step you take you are greeted with a beautiful view and helpful people looking to make your experience as easy and fun as possible.

Waiting around for a cart to get anywhere on the property is tough (otherwise get ready to get your steps in).

He routinely went above and beyond to ensure the logistics our reservations and accommodations were taken care of, and meticulously communicated each step of the way.

They took care of me every step of the way!!

This building is conveniently  located within steps to Helios and the infinity pool.

(I should probably add: if there is parking space available on-site, it will cost you an additional $68 per night. Oh and there is also an additional, "reverable" $100 damage deposit charged at check in, which I have still not had returned more than a week later.)

BUT what they don’t say is that the offsite parking will be more than the $68….our lot will charge us $60 for overnight

Then Jose came to assist with our USB outlets & when it was going to take longer than expected he brought us water & wall charges to tide us over until he could fix it.

but there is a card with the channel list.

Gave a 4 instead of a 5 because I was unaware until checkin that they charge a daily $33 amenities fee.

Very welcoming and no hidden charges or fees.

We told the front desk we were celebrating a birthday as well, they proceeded to send a card and wine up to the room!

Tom, the operations manager, left a birthday card and balloons for my son in our room and made him feel like a total rockstar!

Only thing I wasn’t expecting were some of the hidden fees that were charged at the hotel, a 30$ fee is charged at check-in for bottled water, coffee, records and breakfast along with pool use, and another 200$ is charged for a security deposit

They charge a manditory  scammy resort fee that basically gets you access to a wading pool and the worst breakfast I've had in a long time.

We did get a credit for the activities fee for the night.

Why was I charged for this when I didn’t even get to try it?

nevertheless, since I used Expedia, I was charged $140 additionally for amenities (including pool and breakfast).

My one and only complaint is the exuberant valet charge.

There is a $25 per night charge per room for the WiFi and the continental breakfast in the morning.

My only real complaint would be the steep charge for valet parking ($65 per night),

Consider carefully if you are going to have a car because they charge $65 a night to park your car there.

The fact that much of the rock and roll memorabilia is Boston-based and some of it is functional (a guitar and amp in the lobby; a pretty decent Fender J-Bass in the men's room), makes it feel less like some random assistant went to the R&R prop store to gather decorations.

We were upgraded to one of the outside trailers and we can’t say enough about the atmosphere and added touches.

It has a laid back atmosphere, the rooms are clean and the staff is awesome and super helpful!

Clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff and a fun atmosphere.

The decor was amazing the amenities included umbrellas and free water and they had a pool we'll have to check out next time.

Expect to find modern amenities infused with a touch of retro charm

Retro, music themed vibe, and royal, extremely friendly and welcoming treatment by staff makes you feel like you are a rock star yourself returning home!

My mom followed and we both marveled at how amazing it was to be sitting in this 70s styled tour bus- with a guitar, radio and record player handy.

Super fun vibe of the hotel and perfect stay for the House of Blues.

Immaculate vibes and heaven-worthy-level kindness from the staff are what I’ll remember most about this stay.

The Verb Hotel is a great hotel with a super vibe — a must-stay for music enthusiasts.

Such a sweet hotel - love the music vibe, tools were just right, restaurant was lovely and the staff was excellent.

You feel like a traveling rock star from a bygone era as soon as you set foot in the place.

If you want to explore by walking, the Charles River, Newbury Street, the beautiful Boston Public Library at Copley Square, the Boston MFA and Isabella Stewart Gardner art museum are all within a mile.

but if I'm paying extra I'd rather the money go for good beds and an elevator instead of a lot of staging.

There is no elevator, so remember that when you pack that heavy bag.

Only two issues:  1) did not know there was no elevator to my room, fortunately I had a light suitcase as I was only there two nights, 2) unable to reach hotel staff after my stay regarding my bill and no one returned my voicemail.

Two small nits to pick: $68 valet parking was higher than expected, no elevators in this vintage hotel, so lugging suitcases up the stairs wasn't ideal.

There are no elevators (in case you prefer rooms on the second floor).

No elevator: only relevant if you have multiple bags

But like many a two story motel, this place does not have an elevator so if you're on the second floor, expect to walk a couple short flights.

Also, no elevator in the building (only 2 floors).

Lacks elevator which wasn't a huge deal for us

The trek to our room on the second floor,(there is no elevator) was not user friendly.

but the hotel lacks basics, like even an elevator.

Why isn’t this review rated excellent - there is no elevator to the second floor (I have a disability) and the on site parking was very expensive at $68, double than comparable Boston properties.

If you cannot do stairs, request a room on the first floor, as the second floor is not accessible and has no elevator access

He helped us load up our cart to bring up to the room and even helped transfer our luggage so the second cart on the 2nd floor (unfortunately no elevator).

Right by Fenway Park and in walking distance to the T.   The staff was extremely friendly and was very helpful.

Also great music selection with a truntable in every room and as close to Fenway park amd Berklee music school as you can get.
