The breakfast was also great, lots of options.

Breakfast is a decent selection of meats and pastries.

They offer breakfast which is possibly deliberately ensuring all nationalities are made happy rather than being typically Italian

but this is a classic continental italian style breakfast of which we can appreciate!

Happy with to see nuts ,raisins and granola as an option.

Minutes from the Piazza del Popolo, about 10 minutes to the Spanish steps and close to the easy to navigate metro which we took to the Vatican and Colosseum.

Flat roads everywhere and could do all attractions like Vatican and Colosseum in 40 minutes easily.

It’s about to 10 minute walk to the Spanish steps, 15 or so to the Trevi fountain and 20 to the Vatican and the colosseum.

All the normal sights to see like The Vatican, Trevi Fountain & The Colosseum take your breathe away make an effort to see these at night they are beautiful, I would suggest if you go to the Vatican & the Colosseum buy tickets in advance to jump the queues, they are very long in peak season and in that heat, I can assure you its not fun, we used Tiqets.com they were good.

The location is a tad away from the hustle and bustle which I really liked, we walked to all the high points including The Vatican and The Colosseum.

The hotel was exceptional, clean and welcoming, and whilst one of the smaller hotels I would recommend it highly, the location is outside of the centre BUT with easy access to all the main sites and we walked everywhere except the colosseum as this is close to a 1 hour walk

For us it was conveniently placed for what we wanted to visit, colosseum a 40 minutes walk away & if your not wanting to walk there is public transport just a minute away as well as a taxi or you can jump on a tram.

The location of this hotel served us very well as we walked everywhere during our stay, including the Colosseum & Vatican, and it is very handy for the Piazza del Popolo, Spanish Steps & surrounding streets of restaurants and shops

Getting to and from main attractions like the Colosseum/Vatican was very simple and the Piazza down the road from the hotel made it very easy to navigate through Rome.

We walked to the Vatican, we walked to the Colosseum - it was wonderful!

Hotel is in a perfect location for the underground and we used this to get to the colosseum €1.50 a journey.

If take the road down the centre between the 2 churches you can walk through to the Piazza Venezia, behind is the Roman Forum and you can also see the Colosseum.

The location is great, just 2 minutes from the metro, which is only then 2 stops to the vatican city and 5 stops to the colosseum.

We paid €35 each for a guided tour of the colosseum, palatine and forum after being approached by a tout when you get to the colosseum.

We were able to walk to most places, including Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Vennizia, Forum and Colosseum.

Main attraction such as the Vatican and colosseum were a little further than walking

The hotel was delightful, stylish, immaculate and comfortable.

The room was nicely decorated, spotlessly clean and quiet.

The decor is amazing, the deluxe suite is so comfy with air con, just ask the staff at the front to lower it if you like it cold like me and it is so fresh.

The customer service was excellent and all the staff were lovely from the reception staff who were very helpful in giving us directions to the bar/breakfast/porter and cleaning staff who were Polite/ friendly acknowledging us with a smile.

The room was quite opulent and had a lot of flair.

but big enough for what we wanted, clean and well decorated with a nice bathroom which had a 'Warm' shower which didnt effect us as the temps were 39° so cool was good.

Flaminio is home to galleries, the Teatro Olimpico performing arts theater, and museums such as the MAXXI-National Museum of 21st Century Art and the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia.

It was a old style hotel that had been refurbished in to a beautiful place to stay.

We stayed in the classic room which was small,

but are very well equipped, very clean and nicely decorated in a traditional Italian style.

rooms are small, my husband barely could fit in the shower, room was not made after returning from dinner, towels left on floor,room Keyes did not work, had to take 2 elevators to get to room.The area was great and the lobby was nice

I do agree with the elevator commets posted by others.

You have to take at least 2 different elevators to get to your room and then still climb 2 flights of stairs.

Depending where your room is you have to take two tiny lifts to get there.

My only disappointment ( and reason for not giving five stars) was the last evening when we found that the lift wasn’t working.

The next morning, the elevator was broken, so I had to walk down 8 flights of stairs.

If you are not in the main building, you will have to endure the tiniest elevator (fits 2 without luggage) I have ever seen.

The lifts are a bit of negotiation when you have several large suitcases

It's an old hotel with all that comes with that; narrow corridors, small rooms,small lift

The hotel has very small rooms, the elevator only fits two people, Service at this hotel was very cold and not so friendly.

The room we were then given was in the corner next to the lift and was so small we could only just move around the bed and had to move a chair to open the wardrobe.

As other reviewers have said -it's two buildings joined together , you need to take an elevator to the first floor then another to any other floors above.

you take a small elevator to get to a smaller elevator to go up to your room.

The elevator was also very tiny, so we took the stairs up to the 7th floor every day.

The elevator is a little small and "creepy" especially if you are claustrophobic.

There is an issue that two buildings were put together and you need to change elevators for some of the rooms.

The River Palace is also in a great location, allowing us to walk to a wonderful shopping area and several sites.

The rest of the staff were lovely and helpful and the location is  easy for walking to most attractions.

We love the location and accessibility to many sites by walking and the Metro.

Th ehotel is just around the corner from the metro and 2 blocks from Piazza del Popolo which makes short walks to get to where you are going. All the staff were so helpful with directions and recommendations ro just for a quick chat (shout out to Fredricka!!!)

It is  very close to the Piazza del Popolo (watch out for the pick-pockets) and the Vatican is 20-25 minutes away.

Shower is very small which I think is kinda expected in Italy.

The only negative thing this hotel has is small shower.

but adequate which we could have upgraded to a larger one if required, the bed was very comfortable, but the toilet was very small and the shower also very tight, not a lot of room to move in the toilet at all.

but the bathroom was very small with toilet facing the shower and you were literally touching the shower cubicle with your knees,also the shower cubicle was very small.

The main floor had the bathroom and a small closet.

The shower was tiny and it's round door kept falling off the rail so that was fun.

I looked at a standard room and the rooms were small with small bathrooms, depends how long your spending in your room I guess.

The shower was tiny and some people, dependant on height and size may struggle to get in, out and wash below the waist.

The bathroom was also tiny and uncomfortable.

however i have never seen such a tiny bathroom.

but was still quite small -we knew the floor area when booking but in our case at least some of that was a sort of corridor to the (small bathroom).

Only negative is that our shower was very small, if you dropped something there wasn't enough room to bend and get it!

although a little small had all the amenities required for our short stay.

My boyfriend is 6’2 and had no problem using the supposedly ‘small’ shower cubicle so I think many of the other reviewers may be being a little bit pedantic about sizes.

The rooms and bathrooms are quite small and we had a little trouble with the air conditioning.

Major CON: I'm 5'11/6 ft tall and the bathroom was very small specifically the Shower.

Bath is very small and room is cramped for the price.

I will begin with the cons - the room is tiny.

Hotel is very close to the Piazzo de Poppolo, once you cross the piazza you are about a 10/15 minute walk away from the Spanish steps and the Trevi  fountain so you don’t need to book a trip to see these.

The hotel is within easy walking distance from Popolo - a fair 40 minute walking distance from the Spanish Steps/Trevi Fountain .

Conveniently located close to the Flaminio metro station and easy walking distance to the Spanish Steps beyond Piaza del popolo.

The location was perfect for walking to the vatican or the spanish steps.

Set just footsteps from the local metro, it has easy access to the Central train station and therefore the airport and is only minutes on the metro to the Spanish Steps and from there a short walk to Trevi.

The hotel is walking distance to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain and there are hundreds of shops and restaurants within walking distance too.

We were just a 10 minute walk to the Spanish steps.

Pleasant reception and nice bar area to relax in.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

Receptionists knowledgeable and very helpful.

The service was excellent as it has been in the past, the staff responsive to our requests and making our stay as comfortable as possible.

Upon check in the staff was very friendly, and helped us with a map to plan a night walk around to the Castel Sant'Angelo, Piazza Navona, Pantheon & Trevi Fountain!

but it was spotlessly clean, well appointed and close to the centre of town, just a short walk to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain.

We stayed in an understated, off site, apartment just across the piazza from the main hotel to “Live like the Romans do!” We still received full support from the staff, access to the rooftop terrace at our leisure, bar service, housekeeping, etc.

The hotel is in a wonderful position, a walk away from all of the main sights, and a stone’s throw from a perfect neighbourhood bar (Il Baretto I’m looking at you) and Carbonara to die for (Hello, Osteria da Fortunata).

Charming boutique hotel with near by market, cafes , restaurants , shopping and bars.

The views from the roof top bar were outstanding.

The Campo itself has loads of great restaurants and bars and the little bar opposite the hotel is perfect for a breakfast start (lovely staff, good service and great coffee).

And don't forget the rooftop bar - beautiful.

We received full guidance on the area, the nearby attractions, recommended restaurants and bars, etc.

There is a fantastic rooftop balcony with bar service, and the front desk staff were always so happy and helpful.

There is a great little natural wine bar called L’angolo Divino just across from the hotel that I had planned on visiting, so was a lovely surprise to see it was practically next to the hotel!

Close to all the restaurants, bars and daily market.

10 minute walk to Trastevere, just across the river, where there are lots of shops, bars and restaurants.

Wonderful neighberhood with plenty of bars and restaurants.

The nightlife in the area was electric with the World Cup matches been shown on big screens in all the bars.

No reason to find another rooftop bar when you have one right here.

Close to all attractions with many bars and restaurants nearby.

Every day they answered our countless questions and recommended various restaurants, bars and grocery stores.

You don't have to wander very far to find some very high end restaurants and excellent bars.

The Rooftop Terrace was outstanding from morning to bedtime, including bar service.

It’s absolutely charming from the ivy covered building to the fabulous decor.

Our brother stayed in the romanticized, brightly colored, intentionally designed primary hotel building and it was worth visiting their room just for the decor.

but with an old world ambiance that we enjoyed.

The rooms are decorated in unique Roman style with crisp linen, comfy beds and a generous amount of pillows, air-conditioned and sound-proofed.

Also go to Castel St. Angelo right next to Vatican, it has a great art exhibit with a portion dedicated to the story of Bruno and Campo di Fiori.

The room was charming,  beautifully decorated and very clean.

The room was very comfortable, in fact, the beds were the most cozy beds that we experienced while traveling to different cities in Italy.

The hotel is so intimate and the customer service “went above and beyond”.

This is a lovely older hotel, tastefully updated, and spotless.

Room was cozy and comfortable, which significantly helped us shake off the jet leg and maximize the time in Rome.

Aside from beautiful interiors and lovely exterior, the central position made it perfect for walking to almost all the historical sites.
