Great atmosphere in the casino with a lot of people having a lot of fun!

The food was delicious, the casino had a wealth of options, and there the art installations were great; it truly felt like there was always something to do within the hotel, whether on the Venetian or on the Palazzo side, it was so much fun!

Formula One was great and I could not have picked a better casino to enjoy the race with.

Great shopping and shows right at the casino.

The casino is huge and was quite busy during the evenings

The walk to the tower is very far from the casino.

The tower was quite a walk from the lobby and casino

Great casino and resort, rooms are big and clean, many good amenities, good shopping and restaurants, nearby many good resorts.

I have been to the casino on many occasions and had no idea what a great experience it would be to stay as a guest.

Never again, Midwest casinos still take care of you!

Also if you sign up for their rewards program (you need a rewards card which is free if you obtain it from the casino) you will get ten percent off the gondola ride.

The casino is world class best with every gaming table, slot machine, and poker rooms anyone could ever imagine.

Signage and directions were very confusing as they usually are in casinos.

Been coming here for 20 years, absolutely amazing steph, property, location, food, casino and Rewards.

I shopped, had great food, and the Casino was VERY good to me.

My stay was incredible the Cleanliness of my room and the entire Hotel and Casino was amazing.

But overall quite comfortable large rooms with very good service.

The rooms are very big , well furnished and comfortable beds , 

With great views of the strip or the sphere , ask for a high room for full views

A classy, elegant, upscale hotel that offers the best of beautiful, vintage, contemporary and comfortable living experience with fabulous dining and entertainment options!

There is nothing to complain about the suite, perfect view of the sphere, nice curtains and comfortable bed, nice bathroom, all this lead to a perfect sleep.

First time stay at Venetion was pleasantly surprised how clean, quiet and comfortable the rooms were.

The bed was comfortable, not too soft or firm, and had lots of pillows.

but the room was beautiful comfy and all that you imagine x

So comfortable and no noise while we slept.

Moreover, the room itself was spacious, clean, comfortable bed, with all the bathroom amenities.

Large comfortable, clean, smell fresh room.

The Bed was so comfortable and different weights of pillow.

Hotels clean, rooms amazing with such comfortable beds, you won’t need to leave the hotel if you chose not to, it has everything you would want food, shops, casinos, bars and restaurants! Amazing!!

Check out was a nightmare due to an overcharge.

Or maybe the housekeeper  gets a commission on the charge if they report it???.

And if you bothered to move anything then you would be charged.

Parking is now charged even if you're a guest.

He aggressively taps it and says “can either of you not read?”  “This clearly says to scan your card”, “you either can’t read or you are stupid”.

They are now charging a ridiculous $29 per day for something that has been complimentary for years and years.

but said they could not remove the charges without approval from a manager.

They didn’t provide paper maps except the itty bitty map on the key card envelope.

But i think it would be better if there is a guidebook about the charges (especially for foreign tourists like me), i'm really confused about the resort fee and parking fee. .

Then later, after spending time in the room and deciding maybe I should consider paying the up charge, I was told nothing was available.

Customer no service with hours to correct wrong billing.

I called amex they said hotel never updated their information.

Only negative is quirky snack and beverage trays in rooms that charge you if jostled and one crabby card dealer.

but it would be much better if you can request that from the reservation/check-in time for no additional charge.

Our first assigned room had a dead battery in the key card device so we couldn't get into the room.

but surprisingly at the reception they charged us 2100 U$, that is an additional 300 U$, this is a lack of transparency and is not correct .

but for the price that Venetian charges, they need to do better to ventilate the rooms.

but returned them, and was notified at the reception desk that they would not be charged and the deposit would be returned, we received the receipt confirming this.

In fact, the (very empty) mini fridge that was in the main room was trapped behind a cabinet door that you had to force open all the way in order to be able to open the fridge door.

WiFi in room didn’t work - had to call to get at IT tech up next day to get me connected

Mini fridge in room cannot be touched or emptied or you will be charged 
Hotel is packed day and night.

One point that I wish was there by default is a refrigerator in the room, I believe that can be requested from the front desk for an additional fee,

but even though they call them suites, there are no mini-fridges, microwaves, or coffee machines in the rooms.

All extras like parking, or requesting a mini fridge, or even basic extra requests are not included in that fee.

Staying in room 17 211, we took nothing from the stocked fridge or the drink/snack tray.

There was no refrigerator so suggest you buy a cheap ice chest for your food / drinks.

I dislike the fact there is no coffee maker in the room, so I take a tiny keurig.

However, I did not like that the fridge was not usable as it was pre-stocked with mini-bar items that you get charged for if you move, so no place to store water bottles (water bottles you must bring yourself, because this hotel does not give you any for free).

The only complaint i have is the fridge is loaded with the hotels overpriced refreshments therefore the is no space available to put your own groceries or medications.

Don't touch the drink and food that are lying around or the stuff in the fridge.

The staff were rude and unhelpful yet very helpful and accommodating to the “rich” men who were asking for an extra fridge and the concierge could not do enough for them.

The only downsides were; no coffee and tea making facilities in the room and  no room in the fridge for shop bought water or drinks, I presume this is a money making thing.

Spoke with someone at 10am asked to clean my room she said 5 minutes it’s  after 1 pm I left came back nothing done asked again no one came I’m over it I cleaned it myself for over a $1k y’all can’t clean my room and NO refrigerator it’s full with sale items if you move it you will be charge so where do I put my water?????

For us the fact it lacked a fridge, and the size of the hotel are small disadvantages.

I enjoyed the shoppes, the indoor water, and the faux Piazza San Marcos.

It opened May 3, 1999 at a cost of $1.5 billion on the site of the old Sands Hotel and features art and architecture on a Venice theme (Palazzo Ducale, Piazza San Marco, The Grand Canal, St. Mark’s Campanile, The Lion of Venice, Rialto Bridge, etc.).

although the view of the strip was nice and the hotel is beautiful, I would not recommend the Piazza suite.

We stayed in the Piazza View Suite which was felt larger then the 2nd story of our townhome.

I stayed at the Piazza Suite during the last week of November 2018.

Our wedding dinner couldn't have been any better or romantic, with the view of the piazza that we will never forget!

She responded to my complaint on the same day I sent it and she has given me a certificate for a two tier upgrade to a Piazza suite that's valid for the next 2 years for the next time I stay there.

I had reserved a Piazza View Suite (slightly more expensive than a Piazza Suite,

Apart from the devastatingly beautiful smile, she was professional and friendly and helpful and knowledgeable and got us into one of their Piazza Suites for a great price.

We enjoyed an upgrade to a Piazza Suite that was just amazing,

With a whole range of delicious restaurants to choose from, the excellent people watching to be had in the replica of Venice's St. Mark's piazza, you don't even need to ever leave the premises to have a great vacation.

We stayed in the Piazza Suite which was large, clean and quiet!

We stayed in the Piazza King suite with 1.5 baths, a bedroom with King sized bed and a sofa bed.

The Piazza suite was so spacious and comfortable.

We decided to have a romantic dinner for 2 in the large Piazza Suite.

We had a connecting room with the 2 queen Bella suite and the Piazza suite which had a small fridge, dining table, living room and 2 bathrooms.

We upgraded to Piazza Suite which I paid additional for.

The front desk clerk we worked with when we arrived around 11AM was very helpful spending a lot of time to find us a Piazza suite she could get us into right away since a lot of people had late checkout so we appreciated that.

but it was filled with overpriced items with no room for your own stuff.

So, I'm being very picky here because of the amount of money we paid:
It was a corner penthouse.

They currently gave us a regular room at 6pm when we paid for a suite and not offering to adjust the price for the cheaper room we were given.

A health and well-being related item like this should not have such an exorbitant fee.

I was not happy that I had to pay a resort fee of $51 for the pool, which I did not use and had to pay an additional $18 for parking when I checked out.

They charge you $11 for a cheap bottle of water.

but for the prices we paid, they should have provided plug ins next to bed sides for phones, softer towels and higher quality soaps, paper products and a few extra perks.

When I requested a move early today I was first told it would be about 150% of the rate I was paying.

As I had so many issues with check in and the poor service I received, my resort fees were waived

however when we returned to the room that evening nothing had changed, I complained to receptionist the second morning and the duty manager offered me the rest of the weeks fees cancelled and the issues resolved, we did receive 2 pairs of slippers and 1 extra robe, the mirrors and stool was never cleaned and it took the edge of my experience having to moan at reception, apart from that it’s a very impressive hotel

Paid over $2,000 a night for a room, only to find it online for $799.

Considering what we pay daily for resort fees, there should at least be coffee in the room.

Great rooms, friendly staff, great restaurants, beautiful property.

There is enough restaurants to satisfy any fussy foodies.

Great restaurants just a short walk away.

The hotel itself has so many top notch restaurants to choose from and each one more delicious than the last!

Restaurants are some of the best on the strip!

Lunch at Grand Lux Cafe was very good and very large portions!

We had access to the Premium lounge where we could have breakfast buffet every morning and in the afternoon from 5pm on a variety of complimentary alcoholic drinks and snacks.

The Palazzo / Venetian hotel is an amazing hotel with lots of fantastic restaurants and bars.

The restaurants are fabulous, particularly liked Milos for our not so traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

The restaurants, Black Tap and the food court was delicious.

The food was delicious (still Vegas pricy) and plenty of options.

But you never have to leave the hotel, it is a totally self-contained resort with over 40 restaurants and a sprawling “Grand Canal” shopping mall.

Loved the Grand Lux Restaurant, great food.

We arrived just a day after the F1 race, everyone and their brother was in Vegas,
The employees at check in were so friendly, polite, they gave you a warm experience,

he was incredibly professional & caring while setting up our meals.

Best restaurants were Sushi Samba, Delmonico and Tao.

Features a large variety of dining choices.

Lots of food options, both fancy and casual.

Besides this, the service was great,  there are soo many great restaurants to choose from and the conference was amazing.

And the choice of Restaurants New and old are just outstanding.

Having so many food options nearby in the resort was great, especially with kids the quick access to the food court for lunch was excellent.

The food options are amazing and taste great (Cake boss and Buddy V's are a must!).

Beautiful property, great pools, lots of restaurant options, spectacular vegan restaurant, close to many other places, friendly staff, close to lots of shops, bars and restaurants.

Exploring the Grand Canal Shoppes and dining options within the hotel was enjoyable.

We have found that The Venetian offers great suites, a terrific variety of food and a friendly group of dealers and pit bosses especially in the Pai Gow area.

There is so many dining options from expensive to inexpensive and the shopping is fantastic with many options as well! !

Fast and easy check in and out, super clean and updated premium suite, easy to navigate and access other parts of the property, super friendly and helpful staff, many onsite dining options.

Best hotel on the strip, location, cleanliness, vibe, restaurant options, two casinos for the price of one (Palazzo hotel and casino also connected to Venetian via restaurant row with mall and more restaurants, multiple pools and spa's) overall great experience.

Room was beautiful with its own sitting area.

However there were very few amenities in the room.

There was a Yamaha grand piano in the main room!

love this hotel - especially because of their prestige area and the very nice rooms there.

Room overlooked the sphere that was amazing 24 hour light show.

Front desk rep Carla removed my daily resort fees due to issues I had while staying there.

The entertainment is phenomenal and you can access the Sphere from the convention room side between Venetian and Palazzo now.

Rooms are incredible and both palazzo and Venetian are impeccably clean.

The check in was quick and the staff member very professional and friendly, she offered an upgrade of the room for 150$ per night more and it was worth it, we could already access the room at 11 am, it was actually a suite in the 27th floor of the Palazzo part of the hotel.

However the salt and wave rooms were coed , effectively excluding women who don’t want a coed spa experience.

They had to downgrade our room and gave me the difference

We were celebrating a special occasion, and I was expecting to have a beautiful view as the front desk  lady had mention when she ask for a room upgrade

Waited on the casino floor which is smoke filled and has poor ventilation.

Cons 
Smoke in all areas except non smoking rooms

Even in the casino area the air was not full of cigarette smoke.

Had a nasty experience with a‘security’ guy who told us the wrong way to get to our room, smiled and laughed at us when we returned to ask for help.

Gross rooms, I would expect more from a resort of this caliber.

Room was dirty and smelled, had to change rooms.

Molds in the bathroom and no extra pillow or blanket when we requested they said it would take 2 hrs to deliver it.

The room was spacious & the linens smelled like smoke bad.

Just beware if your sensitive to the smell of smoke. 4.

The only issue I had this time was that smoking is allowed again in the Casino and if you're sensitive to that, you can smell it everywhere.

I never smoked in my life and woke up with smokers cough.

Staff was professional and helpful - close to activities on the strip- only bad thing which mattered to me was the 
faint smell of septic throughout property - especially at pool - enough that I left - they need to pipe in freshener like most hotels-
Construction was also going on so it was noisy at all pools.

Did not enjoy the smell of weed along the corridors in a supposed weed free resort!

Hated the smoke casino that one had to walk through to get anywhere.

butts, 4) my ongoing gripe about the two construction cranes atop an unfinished building covered with a cheap schmata made to look like a building (surely after a decade or so, this incredibly ugly eyesore can be remedied; it not only detracts from the overall panorama, but also seems to reflect on the attitude of management.

but hung over the railing, not vacuumed  and the toilet filthy.

The 600 tower Venezia smelled like smoke and Marijuana.

cigarettes smoke and drunks are everywhere.

Was going to title review “best hotel-casino on the strip,”

The Venetian is still beautiful after 25 years on the Strip, located ideally within walking distance of the some of Las Vegas’s other top hotels - Caesar’s Palace, Bellagio, Mirage, and Wynn’s.

It was the nicest room - and the very best Consiere service we’ve ever had on the Strip.

The room was large, clean, and comfortable and had a view of the Palazzo Pool and some of the strip.

The location in great, right on the strip.

but to the F1 and its impact on the strip, including the draining/closure of the canal experience out the front.

Stay here as often as you can, it's a fantastic hotel on the strip with great service, food, gaming and anything else you could want out of Vegas.

but the view of the strip, and mountains from our suite offset this for sure!

It is right in the heart of the strip and we were able to walk everywhere.

but you're also pretty centrally located to the other resorts on the strip that it makes it easy to explore.

Over the past forty years we have stayed at a variety of hotels on the Strip.

For the price (twice what a good name brand hotel costs a block away off the strip) I expected better.

I would honestly not recommend anyone to stay here the other hotels on the strip had a lot better and friendly staff.

While I always love staying at the Venetian, I will warn guests about the Venezia tower suites.

From check in the staff were friendly and we managed to upgrade our room to a strip view room in the venezia tower for $60 per night.

We stayed here for 3 nights in the Venezia tower in a very spacious room with superb bathroom and amazing views.

To our surprise, the Venezia tower looked and felt like a brand-new tower.

As always, we are taken with the grandeur of the lobby, the serene beauty of the Venezia courtyard, the excitement of the casino floors, and the delights of the familiar and new restaurants.

We opted to stay only near the Venezia towers the entire time taking advantage of the beautiful serene pool as we always have in the past.

I stayed in the Venezia Tower for the first time, which was nice

I am wondering if the people who choose to take advantage of those rates are assigned to the Venezia Tower routinely.

This area is right next to the Venezia Tower pool which the area looks like a sitting area across from a former check-in desk.

They eventually changed us to a room in the Venezia tower which was beautiful and had no moths.

We spent our entire stay within the Venetian/Venezia/Palazzo property; gambling there and eating and dining at their many restaurants and bars.

Second day we made it to the Venezia pool/spas and oh my gosh, it was heaven!

This visit I stayed in the Venezia tower.

* The Venezia garden pool is great, shaded, and not nearly as busy as the Venetian pool.

The girl promptly told me "you have been reassigned to the Venezia Tower".

Our rooms were in the semi-dated Venezia Tower.

I stayed in the Venezia tower with a view of the garden pool.

The Venezia tower is on the far end (the end farthest away from the Fashion Show mall and from the Wynn.).

The daily breakfast was made to order along with a beautiful tiered selection of meats, cheeses, fruit and pastries brought to your table.

The bar is nice and the breakfast very good.

The hotel served breakfast every morning that is absolutely delicious.
