The hotel was very clean and the room and bed were so cozy and comfortable, and the A/C was nice and cold.

but the main issues were : the access via a very small and slow elevator that you can only catch on the first floor and another problem was the bedding.

The elevator was one of the slowest and scariest I've encountered in many travels.

Request a room on the first floor if you don’t like tiny elevators!

The reception lobby is tiny and the elevator is also tiny.

Only 2 things about this hotel I feel are important to note - the elevator is on the 1st floor, so is not suitable for anyone in a wheelchair, and the bed and pillow were very firm.

A few things to def keep in mind: elevator was on 1st level (Italy counts floor 0/ground floor) so you had to walk up a few small flights to get to the elevator for the higher floors.

You do need to walk up a flight of stairs to reach the elevator, which may be an issue for some folks.

No lift from hotel lobby to first floor so be prepared to lug your bags up.

Also note it is not for anyone with mobility challenges as access to the lift is on the second floor.

You have to walk up one flight to get to the elevator, which itself may be 50+ years old and rather scary.

However, after a whole day of walking through the cobbled streets of Rome, I am not keen on having to ' climb to reach the elevator'.

You have quite a few stairs to climb to the first floor where there is a tiny lift which goes to the higher levels (only space for 2 people).

The only hassle is the lift, which does not go to the ground floor that makes it difficult when you have heavy luggage,

There is no lift from reception to L1, it starts at L1 and goes to 5

The hotel is in an old building right accross from the Pantheon, so the excellent location, with many places to eat and drink around.

And, our room had an amazing view of the Pantheon.

The location cannot be beat, we were fortunate to have a room overlooking the Pantheon, which was spectacular both day and night.

Stayed in Annexe room so no view of pantheon which was fine and very clear when booking.

Each of our rooms had a complimentary bottle of Prosecco waiting for us and our view of the Pantheon was unrivaled.

Our room was clean and the view of the Pantheon was perfect!

Has to be one of the best locations in Rome, right across the from The Pantheon and great restaurants at your doorstep.

We had a room with two views of the Pantheon.

Our Pantheon view room had amazing views of the Pantheon and Piazza (see photos).

The view of the Pantheon from our room was priceless.

The hotel is right in front of Pantehon and we booked a room with a view of Pantheon, which was very nice.

I had room 104 and the views of the Pantheon were unreal.

Room was a bit small for a double room and the bed was most definitely NOT a king size

The rooms are small (as you would expect in an old building in such a location)

however, a pretentious, overpriced pseudoboutique hotel of sort: the prices and the attitude are correct for a hotel with small rooms and no common spaces. Overall a positive experience due to the professional, friendly staff, the honest prices and (did I already mention it?)

The rooms are quite small and not the most modern.

The room itself is of a decent size, with room 502 having one room facing the pantheon and another small room having a sofa bed (we used this room to get ready/ store luggage to prevent the main room getting cluttered).

but the hotel rooms were small and nothing special.

If the small rooms and multiple keys for doors bothers you you could stay in main hotel

There is no bar or restaurant at the hotel only rooms and a small reception - but there are hundreds of places to eat out there .

No mention that you have to climb a flight of stairs before the elevator is available (so not accessible for those with limited mobility).

It is a small hotel with just a small reception on the bottom and you have to walk up a stairs to the first floor to reach the elevator.

The downside is that when going from the ground level to the first level you can only use the stairs.

but didn't want to stand in the long line in the heat so we watched out the window until the line dwindled down and ran down the stairs to tour it!

We literally had to hold our breath until we got up stairs.

Not for handicapped as you must climb stairs to get to your room.

After taking it once, I chose to climb the 5 flights of stairs.

Only downside I can see is that it’s not handicap friendly (a lot of stairs) and if you’re a light sleeper the city will keep you up.

The hotel is unsuitable for disabled people or anyone who has difficulty with stairs.

To get to your room, you will have to walk up a set of stairs and then catch an elevator.

Stairs to first floor and lift from there, which may be a problem for less able travellers.

but still finished at a reasonable time for sleeping

but it might be important to someone who is unable to climb stairs easily.

For those with accessibility issue, there is a need to climb stairs one level before you can access the elevator.

The elevator is small, so I took the stairs for everything except transporting my luggage.

Be warned also that you need to be able to handle stairs if you stay here.

You do have to do stairs here so if mobility is an issue, look elsewhere.

For the location, we were amazed at how quiet the room was and we all slept well – even the convertible sleeping chairs on the second floor were quite comfortable.

We used the transfer through the hotel to and from the airport, which was comfortable and reasonable.

Positive  - central location, good housekeeping, kind staff, comfortable bed with soft sheets, there is a fridge, quiet rooms at the back away from the street.

It was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable.

Very comfortable rooms, the staff are extremely pleasant and efficient.

I think in old cities such Rome, the convenience of location was very important for us the hotel is clean and comfy and we were referred to amazing local restaurants we would stay there in a heartbeat again if we could have the same room! !

The hotel is a small boutique hotel near The Pantheon - great location, all sites are walkable.

There are not many places where you can walk right out your door and enjoy a spritz with a view of the Pantheon.

Overall the Hotel Pantheon is a wonderful old Italian city centre hotel, with lots of character, and we will definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.

They called the cab and it was waiting in the Pantheon Plaza for us by 7:45 and fast trip to the airport.

This is no exception as you walk out of the main doors 50meters away is the Pantheon in all of its glory!!!

I am a smoker and the Pantheon hotel had door staff.

Just returned from our trip to Rome and we really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Pantheon.

The hotel is a stones throw away from The Pantheon and a perfect location for walking to all tourist attractions.

We were able to walk to many great attractions including Pantheon, Colosseum, Vatican, Piazza del popolo, etc.

We could hear every sound our neighbor made, every conversation.

Hotel Pantheon must have some very excellent soundproofing because our room was not very loud even with the horde of tourists around.

We stayed at the Pantheon f0ro a few nights, the 1st night the room we were in was at the front of the hotel overlooking a busy street and was very warm, too noisy to open the windows.

Ask for a room that is NOT overlooking the street as it can be quite noisy.

The garbage gets picked up very early in the morning from the street below (which is full of restaurants) and you can hear every bin emptying hundreds of empty bottles in the garbage truck.

The shower was overflowing because the drainage wouldn’t keep up and the noise at night.

Location was loud outside the windows throughout the night and early in the morning.

we could hear snoring from the room next door. .

Both rooms faced onto the street and were noisy in the morning.

Only downside  is our street-side room was  subject to a lot of late night (3 AM partyers) and early morning (530- 600 garbage pickup) noise.

I know the hotel cant do much about the noise

There was only one flaw and that was the noise coming from the street in the early morning when the city cleaners arrived with their vehicles.

Although it’s a bustly area we weren’t disturbed by noise.

It is on a side street so you do get some noise at night and the "glass bottle" collection at 07.00 in the morning can be quite noisy,

We stayed in room 201 which had a window over looking the street to the front, so you could hear some noise,

My only complaint is that it is very noisy in the front rooms, as you are on a busy street,

but because it's near the pantheon,  its noisy all day and into the night.

With 3 adults the room was too small to come out and get dressed in.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, and is clean and comfortable. However, the room for four people is very small and cramped, the air con is not powerful enough to cool the room, and the breakfast is shocking - items (bread, etc.)

Room 502 was tiny with a double bed that you could just about walk around, nowhere to hang coats and barely anywhere to open a suitcase.

I had a solo room and it was tiny -- that said, it was enough for just me.

We stayed in the Light and Sight suite and the room was beautiful and so comfortable, felt like a home away from home.

While we should have heard noise from our neighbors, the street, and the elevator, not once did we hear a peep, which made the Hotel B a great break from the noise and bustle of the city.

It has only 1 small elevator and it takes sometimes a while till it gets to you.

The hotel footprint is quite small and accordingly everything inside the hotel is small from the door to the hotel to the lobby and halls and elevator and most importantly the rooms.

There is one small elevator, appropriate for a hotel of this size and with little wait time.

Elevator was very small and air conditioning was not very cold (typical for Europe).

One thing awkward about the part of the hotel where we stayed was the need to go up and down stairs to get to the elevator (4th floor).

We were in Room 48; took the elevator to the 5th floor, then walked down 2 short flights of stairs and hallway to our room -- similar to a room we had at Banff Spring Resort years ago!

The hotel has a brand-new Schindler elevator that holds 6 people.

You should request a room away from the stairs and elevator.

The elevator was broken and was only fixed as we were checking out.

The elevator was also small and slow and I had to go up four flights of stairs,

- No kettle
- Lift doesn't work properly, as it doesn't stop at level 1 and 2

There have been recent renovations to the elevators and the showers.

About 15 to 20 minute walk to the colosseum, 5 minutes to Trevi fountain, 20 minutes to Vatican City, 15 minutes to Pantheon and Piazza Navona.

The hotel is in a fantastic location - close walks to the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, and Trevi Fountain.

Great location relatively central in Rome relative to various sights (Forum, Pantheon, Borghese, Spanish Steps, Trevi, etc.).

We walked to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and Pantheon.

The hotel is only a few minutes away from the Spanish Steps, and also an easy walk to the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon.

The hotel is just around the corner from the metro and a 15 minute walk from the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon.

The hotel is in a wonderful location - an easy walk to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and the Pantheon.

We walked to everything:  the Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Via Condotti for shopping.

5 minute walk to the Spanish Steps, 10 minute walk to Trevi Fountain, 15 minute walk to The Pantheon, 10 minute Metro ride to the Colosseum, and maybe 15 to the Vatican.

My daughter and I walked everywhere--the Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, etc.

Trevi fountain is 10 minutes walk from the hotel and the Pantheon 5 minutes walk from the hotel (5-7 minutes past Trevi fountain);   The Coliseum is walkable in about 30 minutes,

You can easily walk to the pantheon, Spanish steps and trevi fountain.

It’s about a 20 min walk to the colosseum which is actually great because whatever route you take you end up passing all kinds of monuments, fountains, amazing buildings- I accidentally came across the Pantheon!

The hotel, located in the Piazza Barberini, is close to all the main sights including the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Borghese Gallery, Pantheon, Colosseum etc.etc.

Great location near the Trevi Fountain and metro stop, plus a short walk to Pantheon, Spanish Steps, opera house, and walkable to the Colosseum.

A great location, walkable to Trevi Foundation, Spanish Steps, Pantheon and more.

Walked to Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Spanish Steps and had good meals — just stumbled in.

The location on the Piazza Barberini is brilliant for exploring with the Spanish steps, Trevi fountain and Pantheon just a few minutes walk away.

The hotel is right next to the Barberini station, walkable to many landmarks like the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and the Pantheon.

The only downside is that, due to its small footprint, the bar and breakfast room are not large; most of the rooms are on the small side, as well.
