 - The hotel is in a great location and we had no difficulty walking to Vatican, the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps, the Trivi Fountain Harry’s Bar and the countless restaurants of all types in and around Rome centre.
 - 15 min walk from the Spanish steps and 20min from the Trevi fountain.
 - The Spanish Steps are a 10-15 minute walk away and the collessium 30 mins.
 - Close things is trevi fountain and Spanish steps Vatican city is 45 mins walk .
 - Spanish steps maybe about 10/15 mins away.

 - Very limited choice of food at breakfast, as soon as we got up to get a coffee our table was cleared within seconds even it being far from busy.
 - It was often left with no hot water for tea.
 - My only criticisms are that there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room which I consider a basic.
 - Said no tea coffee in room , next day we asked again and one was provided.
 - Tea facilities were chargeable so be sure to take your own.

 - Overall location was good, was about 20 / 30 min walk to most of the metro links, there were some nice restaurants not too far away, we had a nice stroll down to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain one night which was lovely.
 - It was a great hotel, we were closed to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps.
 - The hotel is only 15/20 minutes walk from all the big attractions and maybe only 10 mins walk from the Trevi fountain.

 - It is just a couple of blocks from good restaurants and the Villa Borghese, and we had no problem getting around town using public transportation and walking everywhere.
 - The location near the American Embassy is convenient to cab to the sights and Villa Borghese, the large park, is right down the street to walk around.
 - The location is well situated for an easy walk to Piazza Barbarini and the metro as well as Villa Borghese and Spanish Steps.
 - We also spent some hours in the lovely Villa Borghese which is just a few blocks away.

 - but not sure we would have paid €25.
 - Ensure you book all your taxi rides and excursions independently as the hotel do not tell you that they are increase the prices - for reasons they do not care to share with you.
 - but exactly the same each day Good turkish bath & Sauna in basement All in all i would rate this a 3 star hotel not 4 star
 - We had to pay city tax at the end of our stay
 - but I would not pay to use.

 - but rubbish and cigarette butts.
 - I was annoyed that the hotel thought that it was acceptable to put us in a mouldy environment in the first place.
 - There was a musty smell from our bathroom.
 - Has a very damp smell throughout.
 - To sum it up- moldy, smelly, dirty rooms.

 - The location was fairly central to our needs of visiting the attractions and historical sites in Rome.
 - but still very close (walking distance) to most of the attractions.
 - The location of the hotel is excellent, very close to the Vatican, and all other attractions can be easily reached on foot.
 - The location was ideal for us because we liked to walk and we were fairly close to some major attractions.
 - Location is perfect in an artsy district away from the tourist destinations yet all attractions are walkable.

 - 5) Shower door did not close completely.
 - House-keeping slams doors all day & night as they clean, the people above us kept dragging the desk chair all over the floor in the middle of the night while stomping back and forth, and our room smelled like sewage.
 - Twice someone knocked on our door as we were resting and once they tried entered to bring complimentary water.
 - Since the bathroom door is frosted glass, thus it's too bright to sleep with the light on.
 - You have to push the door to get in, not turn the doorknob.

 - There is also Villa Borghese with lush picnic park grounds and walkable from hotel
 - You are close to buses, the river, the Villa Borghese, the Supreme Court, and gelato shops (across the street).
 - Castel Sant'Angelo and Villa Borghese are also within half a mile (1 km), and piazza Navona
 - Nice hotel, great location in Prati region close to St. Peter's/Vatican and walking distance to many of the main sites including Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, Villa Borghese.
 - but it sits just 2 blocks from Ponte Regina Margherita (which takes you over to Villa Borghese), 5 blocks from both Ponte Cavour and Ponte Umberto (both of which take you directly into the beauty of the Eternal City).

 - (unfortunately the AC Boscolo is no longer there) We were eager to try a different Marriott & used an upgrade to a corner room for the stay.
 - though seem to have paper thin walls, and there is no AC.
 - The hotel itself is very ordinary; rooms are tiny and poorly ventilated.
 - - housekeeping need careful check on hairs left by previous customers - smoke sensors blinking truly too strongly (because the sensor wasn’t covered by its mask) and annoying at night In general we didn’t feel treated as special guest
 - Only uncomfortable thing was the heater that was fixed and couldn’t be adjusted, had to sleep with the window open a bit.
