 - The room, 601, was perfect, very big, modern bed,bathroom.
 - Friendly staff,good location,fresh and modern contemporary look,good breakfast, excellent room.One feedback would be that bathroom may have some moulds at the bottom door (or not),but rest assured this hotel is fantastic value for money.

 - One warning and one complaint - the warning is that the elevator is VERY VERY TINY.
 - The room 207 was on the second floor and there is a lift if needed, our was situated overlooking a street and for us we heard very little traffic noise so that was a bonus.
 - Only downside is the lift is quite small.

 - There are several bars and restaurants just steps from the hotel, including the Restaurant Grappolo D'oro which is right across the street.
 - but enough of a choice to get you started for a day in Rome or the next step on the journey.

 - It is close to the Colosseum, The Forum, lots of great restaurants and shops, and within walking distance to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps.
 - A one day pass is only $14 euros and I was able to go to the Vatican, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Campo de Fiori and bought lots of incredible fresh dried spices from Spezie Famose Nel Mondo.
 - An official Taxi to the Trevi fountain from the hotel was for example 8 euro in an official car.
 - Not only is it right up the street from the Colosseum and the Forums, it is also about a 20-minute walk to many great areas, including the Trevi Fountain, Campo de Fiori and Trastevere.

 - If you go to the right of the hotel, there is a set of steps to a plethora of restaurants and shops.
 - They have a wonderful breakfast buffet every morning and a restaurant and bar for the evenings if you choose not to visit one of the many restaurants located just steps from the hotel.
 - Down the steps were numerous inexpensive restaurants and a good pizzeria, La Trieste that made small individual pies starting at 2.50 Euros.
 - I walked across the street and up a LOT of steps to see St. Peter in Chains church and the Michelangelo sculpture of Moses.

 - We argued that it's not winter yet and so we asked for a fan and they looked at us like we're weird.
 - The first night our room was on main road, the room was super hot and no air con and it was way too noisy to have the window open so I didn't sleep much that night.
 - The major issues were that the room was hot and we could not cool it down even when turning on air conditioning.
 - Air conditioning in room was really noisy, and we found empty plastic bottles in the wardrobe, so this hadn't been checked.

 - In normal times there is a dedicated shuttle from the hotel.
 - Plenty transport options, taxis on site, bus outside, hotel shuttles.
 - It was only 15 euros to the coliseum and we used the hotel shuttle to the Vatican which was only 10 euros for a family of four.
 - Note: The hotel has a shuttle to St. Peter's and the historic center, and there's a bus stop just out front, as well as a metro stop within easy walking distance.

 - The rooms were very clean and comfortable, shower cubicle was a little bit on the small sideand very close to the sink, we were placed a towel over edge of sink so the shower door and sink didnt meet.
