The daily breakfast was made to order along with a beautiful tiered selection of meats, cheeses, fruit and pastries brought to your table.

The bar is nice and the breakfast very good.

The hotel served breakfast every morning that is absolutely delicious.

Breakfast is good and the staff took notice of our orders and preference.

The breakfast was also top notch…The hotel is in a great location and it is very easy to get around and to see all of the main attractions.

So because our ride was waiting, we lugged the luggage up and down the stairs to the elevator ourselves.

The elevator is really small and could barely fit 2 people and 2 luggages.

While we should have heard noise from our neighbors, the street, and the elevator, not once did we hear a peep, which made the Hotel B a great break from the noise and bustle of the city.

It has only 1 small elevator and it takes sometimes a while till it gets to you.

The hotel footprint is quite small and accordingly everything inside the hotel is small from the door to the hotel to the lobby and halls and elevator and most importantly the rooms.

There is one small elevator, appropriate for a hotel of this size and with little wait time.

Elevator was very small and air conditioning was not very cold (typical for Europe).

One thing awkward about the part of the hotel where we stayed was the need to go up and down stairs to get to the elevator (4th floor).

We were in Room 48; took the elevator to the 5th floor, then walked down 2 short flights of stairs and hallway to our room -- similar to a room we had at Banff Spring Resort years ago!

The hotel has a brand-new Schindler elevator that holds 6 people.

You should request a room away from the stairs and elevator.

The elevator was broken and was only fixed as we were checking out.

The elevator was also small and slow and I had to go up four flights of stairs,

- No kettle
- Lift doesn't work properly, as it doesn't stop at level 1 and 2

There have been recent renovations to the elevators and the showers.

Hotel is centrally located in Piazza Bernini-close and easy walking to all the sights and shopping and restaurants are everywhere.

Location is great, via Vento  meets Berbarini around the corner, cool feel, 15 mins or so walk to the heart of things, there's a metro at the square and there's a lovely walk to the Spanish steps which are very close, nice walk up from the hotel brings you out at the top of the steps.

This hotel is a small upscale property about a 10 minute walk from the Trevi Fountain, so a nice location.

The hotel itself is steps from Bernini Piazza.

About 15 to 20 minute walk to the colosseum, 5 minutes to Trevi fountain, 20 minutes to Vatican City, 15 minutes to Pantheon and Piazza Navona.

Beautiful boutique hotel in Piazza Barberini, in the heart of Rome.

The rooms absolutely gorgeous and spotlessly clean we had a room overlooking the piazza which was incredible.

Hotel is well situated and close to shopping and restaurants and has a view of a fountain in the middle of the piazza.

This delightful hotel is on Piazza Barberini and the Via Venetto.

The Hop-on, hop-off buses pull up just across the Piazza.

We had a superb 8 day stay at Hotel Barocco, an outstanding boutique hotel on a quiet side street off Piazza Barberini, near a taxi stand and Metro in central Rome, walking distance to many major sites in all directions.

The suite with balcony views of Piazza Barberini was stunning!

The location of the hotel is also great, at  Piazza Bernini, close to everything.

The hot tub in the Terrace suite was wonderful for relaxing after a day of walking and the Light & Sight suite provided a wonderful view onto Piazza Barberini from the balcony.

We had a junior suite with our 12 year old daughter overlooking the piazza and it was lovely.

Our junior suite was very comfortable, with lovely decor and a view over the beautiful Bernini fountain in the Piazza Barberini.

Location on Piazza Barberini is extremely convenient.

Rooms are great (we had a deluxe and two classics rooms), breakfast is top with fresh products and incredible cappuccino, location is perfect to reach all places (very close to Piazza de Spagna).

It was a great location within easy walking distance to many sights and surrounded by numerous great restaurants.

The location as perfect: it was central to many of the wonderful sights of Rome, and convenient to the metro.

The hotel, located in the Piazza Barberini, is close to all the main sights including the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Borghese Gallery, Pantheon, Colosseum etc.etc.

The only downside is that, due to its small footprint, the bar and breakfast room are not large; most of the rooms are on the small side, as well.

Our room was a bit small and lacked a full length mirror (one was provided on request),

We were supposedly given a room upgrade and our room was tiny, I dread to think what room we would have had.

The room might be a bit small similar to all other hotels in the center

Note that rooms are on  the small side - if you're travellng with large luggage, you may be challenged.

There is one key in the “traditional” form that has to be returned to the reception every time you leave your room (not the “smart card key” situation here), the breakfast area is divided in 3 small rooms, so you have to book your time slot in the reception the night before.

but we stayed 4 nights and the room is so small it became quite oppressive.

A wide selection of food and the scramble eggs were delicious.

The breakfast was wonderful and I appreciated how I could have two double espressos at no extra charge!

We left early in the morning, before their breakfast, so they packed us a nice breakfast to take on the train without us even asking.

Also worth springing for the breakfast buffet because it's a nice spread and not too many places are open in the morning.

The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options!

Generous breakfast, there is a good choice of food.

Berna has one of the best buffet breakfasts we've had in Europe, and we could never eat lunch - only dinner because we were so stuffed.

Other/tips: we had a cancelled flight and got in a day late, they held the room and able to check right in and get breakfast still.

The staff from housekeeping, front desk and breakfast servers were friendly and extremely welcoming.

All the staff except for the younger one was not helpful nor emphatic when we told them our bag got stolen inside the lobby.

Located close to central train station and only a few stops from main piazza area.

Subway is at the corner: four stops to Piazza del Duomo and Piazza Della Strada.

And if you want to get to the Piazza del Duomo, a short metro ride from the train station will get you there!

but it is literally two minutes walk from Centrale Stazione and so the Piazza Del Duomo is only 10 minutes away.

Piazza Doumo is a short  (4 stops) by Metro from Milano Centrale or in my case a stop less from Repubblica

The room was clean and well furnished and the breakfast buffet was excellent

The hotel is a short walk from Central Station - you literally walk across the piazza, cross the street and walk around the corner.

But just a block away is the Metro station sitting astride two of Milan’s subway lines; you are just 5 stops away from the Piazza del Duomo, the epicenter of the city, and 6 stops away on another line from the Basilica of St. Ambrose, one of the city’s most prized 4th century survivals.

Staff were super helpful, and even recommended a lovely restaurant and phoned for a last minute booking to secure us a table.

The hotel reception recommended two of the restaurants we tried and enjoyed very much.

Close to the train station, metro and lots of restaurants.

There were lots of good restaurants in the area.

A few months prior to our stay I asked them to make reservations for us at a restaurant that didn't have online reservations and Daniele took care of everything.

We arrived late and reception directed us to eat at Osterla Italiana, practically next door.

The breakfast buffet was very nice and a good range of food.

but means you receive free nibbles, potato chips, pizza, breads, salami etc so is good.

Very useful if you're not wanting to eat in a restaurant every night.

There are many restaurants, cafes nearby the hotel as well as a small Carrefour Express supermarket about 700 metres from the hotel.
