The staff were kind, though, and on the day before our departure they gave us an early breakfast to take away for our early morning flight.

We enjoyed the breakfast that was included with the room at a restaurant just around the corner.

The breakfast is at a Cafe around the corner.

And lastly the cafe behind had a wonderful cooked to order breakfast that was included. .

Breakfast was around the corner at a lovely place that made the absolute best pastries!!!

This was a full breakfast and very well prepared.

Special mention too to the staff who serve breakfast at the bar, a fabulous way to start the day.

The staff was great, and the breakfast was cute and fun- it's about a block away in a little cafe.

Breakfast is served at a cafe around the corner and is very delicious with a choice the usual breakfast items both hot and cold.

The breakfast in the piazza is really nice!

Staff was extremely accommodating and breakfast at restaurant around the corner was excellent.

Breakfast is delicious and it is served at a nearby restaurant, a few steps away from the hotel.

Fortunately the rooms are equipped with coffee-making equipment as the breakfast is served in an outside cafe.

The breakfast was tasty and they even provided breakfast to go when we had early morning tours.

The daily American breakfast was delicious.

Breakfast definitely did not disappoint as long as you know what typical Italian breakfast is.

Tons of delicious restaurants within a five minute walk.

The also provided me a take away breakfast the day I left as it was ahead of their scheduled breakfast.

but the main issues were : the access via a very small and slow elevator that you can only catch on the first floor and another problem was the bedding.

The elevator was one of the slowest and scariest I've encountered in many travels.

Request a room on the first floor if you don’t like tiny elevators!

The reception lobby is tiny and the elevator is also tiny.

Only 2 things about this hotel I feel are important to note - the elevator is on the 1st floor, so is not suitable for anyone in a wheelchair, and the bed and pillow were very firm.

A few things to def keep in mind: elevator was on 1st level (Italy counts floor 0/ground floor) so you had to walk up a few small flights to get to the elevator for the higher floors.

You do need to walk up a flight of stairs to reach the elevator, which may be an issue for some folks.

No lift from hotel lobby to first floor so be prepared to lug your bags up.

Also note it is not for anyone with mobility challenges as access to the lift is on the second floor.

You have to walk up one flight to get to the elevator, which itself may be 50+ years old and rather scary.

However, after a whole day of walking through the cobbled streets of Rome, I am not keen on having to ' climb to reach the elevator'.

You have quite a few stairs to climb to the first floor where there is a tiny lift which goes to the higher levels (only space for 2 people).

The only hassle is the lift, which does not go to the ground floor that makes it difficult when you have heavy luggage,

You have to take the first flight of stairs to the first floor to catch the elevator (nothing out of ordinary in old buildings)

There is no lift from reception to L1, it starts at L1 and goes to 5

The hotel is in an old building right accross from the Pantheon, so the excellent location, with many places to eat and drink around.

Good location in center of Rome, with view of Pantheon.

And, our room had an amazing view of the Pantheon.

Wonderful location just across from the Pantheon.

The location cannot be beat, we were fortunate to have a room overlooking the Pantheon, which was spectacular both day and night.

Stayed in Annexe room so no view of pantheon which was fine and very clear when booking.

Each of our rooms had a complimentary bottle of Prosecco waiting for us and our view of the Pantheon was unrivaled.

Our room was clean and the view of the Pantheon was perfect!

Has to be one of the best locations in Rome, right across the from The Pantheon and great restaurants at your doorstep.

We had a room with two views of the Pantheon.

The hotel is right in front of Pantehon and we booked a room with a view of Pantheon, which was very nice.

I had room 104 and the views of the Pantheon were unreal.

Fantastic view right out to Pantheon from both bedrooms and the bathroom.

The view to the Pantheon (across the Rotonda) is breathtaking.

Room was a bit small for a double room and the bed was most definitely NOT a king size

The rooms are small (as you would expect in an old building in such a location)

however, a pretentious, overpriced pseudoboutique hotel of sort: the prices and the attitude are correct for a hotel with small rooms and no common spaces. Overall a positive experience due to the professional, friendly staff, the honest prices and (did I already mention it?)

The rooms are quite small and not the most modern.

The room itself is of a decent size, with room 502 having one room facing the pantheon and another small room having a sofa bed (we used this room to get ready/ store luggage to prevent the main room getting cluttered).

but the hotel rooms were small and nothing special.

If the small rooms and multiple keys for doors bothers you you could stay in main hotel

It's small and the rooms are unusual because of the original design of the building.

but this was fine 
There is no bar or restaurant at the hotel only rooms and a small reception - but there are hundreds of places to eat out there .

No mention that you have to climb a flight of stairs before the elevator is available (so not accessible for those with limited mobility).

It is a small hotel with just a small reception on the bottom and you have to walk up a stairs to the first floor to reach the elevator.

The downside is that when going from the ground level to the first level you can only use the stairs.

but didn't want to stand in the long line in the heat so we watched out the window until the line dwindled down and ran down the stairs to tour it!

We literally had to hold our breath until we got up stairs.

Not for handicapped as you must climb stairs to get to your room.

After taking it once, I chose to climb the 5 flights of stairs.

Only downside I can see is that it’s not handicap friendly (a lot of stairs) and if you’re a light sleeper the city will keep you up.

The hotel is unsuitable for disabled people or anyone who has difficulty with stairs.

To get to your room, you will have to walk up a set of stairs and then catch an elevator.

Stairs to first floor and lift from there, which may be a problem for less able travellers.

but still finished at a reasonable time for sleeping

-Booked with credit card points 
-Reception spoke English

Cons:
-Beds were very firm, which is not our preference
-Some noise from hallway, due to loud Americans calling up and down the stairs

Will definitely consider staying here again when in Rome!

but it might be important to someone who is unable to climb stairs easily.

For those with accessibility issue, there is a need to climb stairs one level before you can access the elevator.

The elevator is small, so I took the stairs for everything except transporting my luggage.

Be warned also that you need to be able to handle stairs if you stay here.

You do have to do stairs here so if mobility is an issue, look elsewhere.

The daily breakfast was made to order along with a beautiful tiered selection of meats, cheeses, fruit and pastries brought to your table.

The bar is nice and the breakfast very good.

The hotel served breakfast every morning that is absolutely delicious.

Breakfast is good and the staff took notice of our orders and preference.

The breakfast was also top notch…The hotel is in a great location and it is very easy to get around and to see all of the main attractions.

Breakfast was really good and cooked fresh.

Bracocco hotels breakfast was lovely, loads to choose from.

The breakfast and attention was personalized.

The hotel as represented here so many times has a delightful breakfast experience.

We especially loved the concierge staff, Stefano in the breakfast room, and bartender Gian Luca.

From the moment we entered the Hotel, service was perfect from the front desk, the breakfast to the daily room cleaning.

Breakfast very good with many choices and they are very attentive to food intolerances.

Breakfast in included in the price and the menu is full of delicious items to order.

The sit-down breakfast was delicious, and the bar was quiet and welcoming.

Great Breakfast,  We will stay there again.

So because our ride was waiting, we lugged the luggage up and down the stairs to the elevator ourselves.

The elevator is really small and could barely fit 2 people and 2 luggages.

The hotel has a small lobby and elevator,

While we should have heard noise from our neighbors, the street, and the elevator, not once did we hear a peep, which made the Hotel B a great break from the noise and bustle of the city.

It has only 1 small elevator and it takes sometimes a while till it gets to you.

The hotel footprint is quite small and accordingly everything inside the hotel is small from the door to the hotel to the lobby and halls and elevator and most importantly the rooms.

There is one small elevator, appropriate for a hotel of this size and with little wait time.

Elevator was very small and air conditioning was not very cold (typical for Europe).

One thing awkward about the part of the hotel where we stayed was the need to go up and down stairs to get to the elevator (4th floor).

We were in Room 48; took the elevator to the 5th floor, then walked down 2 short flights of stairs and hallway to our room -- similar to a room we had at Banff Spring Resort years ago!

The hotel has a brand-new Schindler elevator that holds 6 people.

You should request a room away from the stairs and elevator.

The elevator was broken and was only fixed as we were checking out.

The elevator was also small and slow and I had to go up four flights of stairs,

- No kettle
- Lift doesn't work properly, as it doesn't stop at level 1 and 2

There have been recent renovations to the elevators and the showers.

About 15 to 20 minute walk to the colosseum, 5 minutes to Trevi fountain, 20 minutes to Vatican City, 15 minutes to Pantheon and Piazza Navona.

The hotel is in a fantastic location - close walks to the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, and Trevi Fountain.

Great location relatively central in Rome relative to various sights (Forum, Pantheon, Borghese, Spanish Steps, Trevi, etc.).

We walked to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and Pantheon.

The hotel is only a few minutes away from the Spanish Steps, and also an easy walk to the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon.

The hotel is just around the corner from the metro and a 15 minute walk from the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon.

The hotel is in a wonderful location - an easy walk to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and the Pantheon.

We walked to everything:  the Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Via Condotti for shopping.

5 minute walk to the Spanish Steps, 10 minute walk to Trevi Fountain, 15 minute walk to The Pantheon, 10 minute Metro ride to the Colosseum, and maybe 15 to the Vatican.

My daughter and I walked everywhere--the Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, etc.

Trevi fountain is 10 minutes walk from the hotel and the Pantheon 5 minutes walk from the hotel (5-7 minutes past Trevi fountain);   The Coliseum is walkable in about 30 minutes,

You can easily walk to the pantheon, Spanish steps and trevi fountain.

It’s about a 20 min walk to the colosseum which is actually great because whatever route you take you end up passing all kinds of monuments, fountains, amazing buildings- I accidentally came across the Pantheon!

The hotel, located in the Piazza Barberini, is close to all the main sights including the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Borghese Gallery, Pantheon, Colosseum etc.etc.

Great location near the Trevi Fountain and metro stop, plus a short walk to Pantheon, Spanish Steps, opera house, and walkable to the Colosseum.

A great location, walkable to Trevi Foundation, Spanish Steps, Pantheon and more.

Walked to Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Spanish Steps and had good meals — just stumbled in.

The location on the Piazza Barberini is brilliant for exploring with the Spanish steps, Trevi fountain and Pantheon just a few minutes walk away.

The hotel is right next to the Barberini station, walkable to many landmarks like the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and the Pantheon.

The only downside is that, due to its small footprint, the bar and breakfast room are not large; most of the rooms are on the small side, as well.

Our room was a bit small and lacked a full length mirror (one was provided on request),

We were supposedly given a room upgrade and our room was tiny, I dread to think what room we would have had.

The room might be a bit small similar to all other hotels in the center

Note that rooms are on  the small side - if you're travellng with large luggage, you may be challenged.

There is one key in the “traditional” form that has to be returned to the reception every time you leave your room (not the “smart card key” situation here), the breakfast area is divided in 3 small rooms, so you have to book your time slot in the reception the night before.

but we stayed 4 nights and the room is so small it became quite oppressive.

When we left, we congratulated him on the way the breakfast was conducted and he impressed us with the modesty he showed.

but the main asset of this hotel are Alessandro and his breakfast and restaurant teams!

The rooms and facilities are spotless,  breakfast issuperb.

A plus would be the food, the breakfast especially!

Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice, Alessandro was the perfect host.

The in room food /drinks included and refilled daily, the breakfast included was 5 star and incredible selection, customer service over all 5/5 star.

Great location, great service, great breakfast and great people!

All staff were impeccable and the breakfasts were simply stunning.

I can still taste the Americano coffee, it was so good, and the food was of highest quality, fresh, and delicious.

The breakfast is excellent with a huge variety and the roof top restaurant has a very nice atmosphere as well as food and drinks.

The rooms and beds are beautiful and comfortable, the staff friendly and accommodating, and we looked forward to the fabulous breakfast every day.

It was about a 15 minute walk to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, and Trevi fountain.

The hotel is well located and only a short walk to the train station, collosseum, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon.

The location is convenient, walkable to Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon within 15min.

Trevi fountain the Pantheon, there are great shops, all along the avenue of Via Nazionale.

Quatrro Fountaine is a great link to get to the Trevi and Pantheon area.

It is about a 20 minute walk to the Roman Forum and the Colosseum, about 15 minutes to the Pantheon and Trevi fountain and don't forget to visit the Basilica of St Maria Maggiore which is about 10 minutes away.

We opted for Artemide because our normal hotel by the Pantheon was fully booked.

It is conveniently located within walking distance to the Coliseum, the Forum, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain.

The hotel's location can't be beat--just minutes from the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and a stone's throw from the Spanish Steps and Colosseum.

Hotel is on Via Nacionale and across the road and 15 mins walk to wonderful Trevi area, Pantheon and Spanish Steps.

It was a 15-20-minute walk to the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain.

Perfect location to  get to the Trevi Fountain , Colosseum, Pantheon , Piazza Navona.

The hotel is situated on a main thoroughfare about 12 mins walk from the Terminii Rail Station and about 20-25 mins walk to the main sites (Pantheon, Colleseum & The Forum) - suggest you catch the Metro for the Vatican from the nearby station & travel 5 stops for a very reasonable 1.50 Euros.

The location is good , close to termini , Trevi fountain, and the pantheon .

Beds were both very comfortable which refreshed  us after a long,tiring Rome day.The breakfast should be a an other topic to make comment.They were serving a cheese plate every day and a kind of desert as a complimentary.It is impossible to forget the taste of tiramisu .And the location;very close to main station and a walk distance to historical places like Pantheon or Colosseum.I am looking forward to stay in Hotel Artemide again.

Trevi fountain and the Pantheon are within walking distance and there is a bus stop one block down.

Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon and Coliseum are all within 20-25 minute walk.

The location is in a prime spot for walking to all the key sites, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps, Piazza Navona, Pantheon.

The location is perfect - located on Via Nazionale, walking distance to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and other sites.

You can also walk to the Trevi fountain and the pantheon.

The basic rooms are very small and don't offer much of a view beyond the building across the street.

My only criticism, and it's a tiny thing, is the washroom size in the rooms are small,

Initially they booked out to a double room which was quite small with no view

The only difference between the two rooms is that room 404 has a small narrow balcony.

The room was on the small side (we had a deluxe comfort, I think) which more than adequate.

While the rooms are somewhat small, the hotel decor and amenities were top quality.

Also worth a mention were Sebastian and Davide so helpful and accomodating .The rooms were great one small negative was that they were a tad small .

We didn’t have time to address it with the staff, and tried to just deal with the temperature issues.

The AC was effective at maintaining a temperature and nearly silent. Yay!

It’s a longer walk to ley attractions if you go without Metro — 20-30 minutes to most places which is difficult in 99f temps.

The issue is that the shower did not keep a consistent temperature nor pressure.

Then the temperature of the water was changing by itself.

Hard to sleep with the noise from the street and the green temperature control lights shining in our eyes.

but the bed was not as comfortable, and the a/c would not go below a set temperature, at night, the room was a little warm as the only a/c vent was not blowing towards the bed.

It was the only hotel we stayed in during a 10-day Italy vacation that had functioning temperature control in the room.
