 - Amazing location on a cute little side street just off the Roman Forum and a 5 minute walk from the Colosseum.
 - The hotel is also easily walkable to many of the tourist attractions, including a quick 5 minute walk to the Roman Forum or a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum.
 - This hotel is very close to the Roman Forum and the Colosseum.
 - The location is also ideal - well within walking distance to Colosseum, Roman Forum, Trastevere, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, several restaurants and wine bars, and more.
 - The location is great - you are right near the Colosseum and other major attractions yet the hotel itself is a bit set back so you don't feel like you are in a tourist zone.

 - The hotel sent a van for us, checked us in at the main hotel across the street and provided fresh breakfast every day.
 - They also included (as part of the room fee) a bountiful breakfast daily, with fabulous and varied regional foods, as well as made to order eggs and coffee drinks as requested.
 - The breakfast was so good and the staff went out of their way to help us in every way.

 - And getting to the apartment, up steps and down steps and in a little lift which opens 'outside' is a bit spooky in the dark.
 - The 3 foot square elevator,
 - The hotel is very old and cannot be altered, so the elevator was a bit of a shock- its about 2.5x3 feet- just enough for bags to get in.

 - We stayed in the building on the opposite side and what a great place for couples travelling together, rooms 206 and 207, huge lounge with full kitchen plus outside terrace all full of character.
 - In the evening, a buffet with Italian aperitif (which is free with the purchase of a drink), is served on the terrace.

 - The inn is on a dead end drive (it ends with stairs and a small fountain), so there is no car traffic.

 - nevertheless it is terrific to able to stroll down to the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain in the evening.
 -
 - This place is a classic and extremely comfortable hotel in a great location 10 min walk from Trevi fountain right near Piazza Barberini.
 - It is wonderful hotel that is located a little outside of the touristy areas such as the Trevi fountain and the Pantheon
 - You can walk to Trevi fountain and Spanish steps very easily, plus a handful of great restaurants.

 - The selection of food at breakfast was excellent, setting us up perfectly for the lovely walks that we took on each day of our visit.
 - Breakfast was very nice.
 - Whilst we never had dinner at the hotel, we did have breakfast every morning.
 - In addition, the Hotels policy for Covid safety were very smooth and allowed us to feel comfortable and protected during the entire time (spa, dining room, breakfast, etc.).

 - - The hotel has a very strange rule about not allowing air conditioning until some unknown date in May.
 - After waiting an hour I asked if I could use the shower - it wasn’t offered to me - and they allowed me down to the spa area My room had no A/C for the first 2 nights.
 - The only downside was that the hotel is old so there is no air conditioning!
 - Air conditioning was not very responsive to setting changes.
 - Our first night we had a major problem with the air conditioning in our room.

 - Walking distance to all attractions, steps, Trevi, Vatican City, Pantheon, even the Colosseum is only ~20mins.
 - We walked pretty much everywhere apart from the Colosseum where we took bus number 85.
 - Concierge was also very helpful suggesting places to eat and arranging a Colosseum Tour.
 - The hotel is a short cab ride away from St. Peter’s and from the Colosseum.

 - I really liked the room as it featured huge open space with marble floors and 3 balconies with views of Rome.
 - we have had a very pleasant stay with very nice rooms and beautiful marble bathroom and a balcony we saw only a very helpful staff with a high level of service the hotel is only 5-7 min on foot from the spanish stairs in a quiet exclusive neighborhood
 - I love that there are marble floors in the rooms (no capets) and the bathroom is nealy as big as the room itself - it even had a balcony overlooking Via Veneto.
 - It had marble flooring, and a large toilet.
 - The rooms are appointed nicely, mostly marble floors and dark wood furniture.

 - but to reject our use of facilities we paid for was too much!!
 - Was shocked that 2x gelatos to the room cost €40
 - Thats only negative I can share, this place may be overpriced
 - but not at the expense of quality.
 - but the place is a bit dated and just wasn't anywhere near the quality of the similarly priced hotels I booked on this trip via LHW.

 - but their are only small rooms within the main building of the hotel.
 - If you visit there in a couple (so we did) please consider that the rooms are really very small.
 - EXTREMELY SMALL ROOMS You do not get what you paid for!
 - The room was on the small side which is typical in Europe.
 - One small thing in our room was that there was no mirror in the main bedroom, only a small one in the bathroom so not great for getting ready.

 - Sweet breakfast, savory breakfast, yogurt, coffees, and lots of fruit juices.
 - but delicious, we had a choice of salty or sweet breakfast.
 - The hotel comes with a free breakfast buffet that has great taste, the only downside of the breakfast is that its the same food everyday, so eventually you will start to get sick of it if you stay for a long period of time.
 - The breakfast staff were extremely attentive, working very hard to ensure they maintained a great selection of hot and cold foods and all was replenished regularly.
 - The breakfast was good and sets you up for the day.

 - We chose the Morgana due to it's central Rome location and that it was near the train station.
 - The common area was roomy and lovely while waiting for rides, front desk helpful with getting a cab, very close to train station.
 - The location near the train station made it easy to catch a train or the metro.
 - Chose this hotel because of its location near the train station.
 - A great hotel in Rome, situated near train station, literally 2mins walk.

 - Although it was overlooking the street it wasn’t too noisy.
 - but then found a blanket on the cupboard and kept the heating blower on which was noisy but made the room more cosy.
 - Too noisy and we could hear every vehicle that was passing by.
 - The Hotel is also on a noisy street and even their so called executive room (209) was so noisy as it faces a street.
 - Thin walls, we could hear the bathroom and conversation within from next door.
