The rooms were well appointed with all modern amenities.

Our room was very comfortable, the shower has great water pressure, and the location is fantastic.

but bathroom was a good size and the bed was really comfortable.

While we should have heard noise from our neighbors, the street, and the elevator, not once did we hear a peep, which made the Hotel B a great break from the noise and bustle of the city.

It has only 1 small elevator and it takes sometimes a while till it gets to you.

The hotel footprint is quite small and accordingly everything inside the hotel is small from the door to the hotel to the lobby and halls and elevator and most importantly the rooms.

There is one small elevator, appropriate for a hotel of this size and with little wait time.

Elevator was very small and air conditioning was not very cold (typical for Europe).

One thing awkward about the part of the hotel where we stayed was the need to go up and down stairs to get to the elevator (4th floor).

We were in Room 48; took the elevator to the 5th floor, then walked down 2 short flights of stairs and hallway to our room -- similar to a room we had at Banff Spring Resort years ago!

The hotel has a brand-new Schindler elevator that holds 6 people.

You should request a room away from the stairs and elevator.

The elevator was broken and was only fixed as we were checking out.

The elevator was also small and slow and I had to go up four flights of stairs,

- No kettle
- Lift doesn't work properly, as it doesn't stop at level 1 and 2

There have been recent renovations to the elevators and the showers.

The only downside is that, due to its small footprint, the bar and breakfast room are not large; most of the rooms are on the small side, as well.

We were supposedly given a room upgrade and our room was tiny, I dread to think what room we would have had.

Note that rooms are on  the small side - if you're travellng with large luggage, you may be challenged.

There is one key in the “traditional” form that has to be returned to the reception every time you leave your room (not the “smart card key” situation here), the breakfast area is divided in 3 small rooms, so you have to book your time slot in the reception the night before.

At 12 sq meters, I knew my room would be small and it was.

We walked to everything:  the Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Via Condotti for shopping.

The location is perfect …   a 1 :60 walk to the metro and within easy walking distance to Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, shopping on Via Condotti and numerous restaurants.

Perhaps best of all, Barocco is a short walk to the Spanish Steps and the shopping delights of Via Sistina, Via Condotti and Via Corso.

Great location--short distance from Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Via Condotti and Via Veneto.

Nothing was an issue, we had a leaky shower and they fixed this for us very promptly and no problem since.

The bathroom was marble with modern cool looking sink and fixtures.

Very comfortable room and we had a newly renovated bathroom which was very modern.

Traditional decor, comfortable large bed, working air con. Adequate bathroom (although for some reason there wasn’t ever any hot water between 2 & 4pm which is when we came back to shower having spent the whole morning in the hot sun walking for miles!)

Our room, one of the terrace suites, had a brand new bathroom that is beautifully redone.

While the rooms were spacious and well-furnished, the bathroom was too cramped.

The Hotel Raffaello was a sweet surprise of outstanding accomodations, amenities and staff.

The rooms and bathrooms are a nice size, comfortable beds, and a very good breakfast.

Double shower head - toiletries provided and a hairdryer in the bathroom beside the mirror.

It had two shower heads and a basket for shampoo etc.

The bathroom had a hair dryer which was very convenient.

We were in room 212 and the room was lovely and clean, plenty of wardrobe space, a king sized bed which was very comfy and a good sized bathroom

Our room was on the first floor (American second floor), good size, nice bathroom with tub and handheld shower, very clean, a king size, very comfortable bed, and good lighting.

The lift wasn’t working for the week so had to carry our luggage up to our room.

Lift doesn't work, no hot water night or in the morning.

Notes: the elevator is out of commission and, according to the front desk, will be for some time.

There were no elevators and if you have mobility issues this can be a real problem and the shower was like getting into a cubicle with no room to move.

Only downside is the lift doesn’t work so it’s a very tough climb up to 4th floor on steep stairs even for fit people😅

The only issue we had was that the elevator was not working, so walking up and down the stairs was a bit of a workout for a couple in our 70's.

Lift was broken, staff were unhelpful/rude.

The next day we woke up and the lift was broken, so therefore I had 3 flights of stairs to get to reception.

The lift is way too small (3 pax can barely stand in it) and stops at intermediate levels, so you always have to climb up/down the stairs for reaching the rooms, which is quite inconvenient if you have a lot of luggage.

Negative includes: very small room, tiny elevator (1 person with luggage at most), elevator stops between floors (so, at least 9 steps to walk) and VERY small shower.

This is a boutique hotel, so there is only one small elevator and stairs are more convenient.

every time I arrive back to the hotel I have to wait 5 to 10 minutes just get on the elevator.

Only complaint would be the very small elevator that stops in between floors so one still has to either go up or down a flight of stairs to get to your room.

The only downside was the size of the corner shower which was really small and barely manageable.

The bathroom is also small and everything works.

but the bathroom…..we had to step up 2 steps to a small door into the very small bathroom.

However, another family member was in a different room and their bathroom was quite small

The shower was rather small and not the easiest to move around in.

We stayed here for 8 nights so a few things were frustrating:  a tiny shower that might not accommodate a person with above average weight or height, the lack of hair conditioner and Kleenex, and a satellite TV system that does not work consistently.

The only minus would have to be the very small shower!

Not everything is perfect, though, the safe in the room is very small.

The elevator/“lift” to the rooms is quite small as are the rooms themselves.

Everything one might need is within reasonable walking distance---shopping (on Via Condotti, Via del Corso, Campo dei Fiori, etc), dining (THE La Carbonara - Osteria is just down the street) and of course, all the must-see attractions: Piazza di Spagna, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Trajan's Column and the Roman Forum, The National Monument and, of course the Colosseum are all places we were able to reach on foot at a reasonable pace.

The bathroom was extremely rudimentary with the tiniest of showers ever seen in any hotel.

The bathroom was roomy enough and filled with good towels etc.

but very clean and plenty of towels and amenities.

It was a modern, stylish and clean double room, with a nice modern bathroom and easy to operate (roomy) shower. The king(?)

The bathroom was beautiful and had a shower with both rain shower and handheld.

The bathroom was great, roomy, and we had AC which was nice.

Bathroom was clean modern with good hot water pressure plus coffee tea and kettle provided.

but very clean and with all the necessary amenities.

Room has 1.5 bathrooms, separate location sofa, fridge and free inroom coffee.

The rooms we had were so clean, toilettes are disinfected  everyday.

Rooms were clean, and included a safe, slippers, extra pillow and blanket, soap, shower cap, cups, coffee machines, biscuits.

A great thing about the room was that it had 1 and a half bathrooms which was great since there were so many of us.

We walked to the Vatican, Colosseum, Diocletian Baths, Via del Corso (for fantastic shopping).

The bathrooms are large, clean and very well appointed.

It was a beautiful room with an interesting bathroom like we hadn’t seen before.

If you get a good deal, you are likely in a small room in another building.

The rooms are small and the beds weren’t the most comfortable.

The only caveat, I can say, the rooms are to small..

Also room was tiny, not enough room to get round the bottom of the bed.

Our room was very small with little room to set out our luggage and barely any room to walk around once our luggage was set up, awkwardly in corners and under windows.

I had a standard room and it was very small.

The only caveat:  a standard room is VERY small.

So, we’ve stayed at hotel condotti before and while the rooms were small we loved the location.. we decided this time, as my husband is a large man we would upgrade from a standard double room to a superior double.. we arrived after 2pm and were given our room key without a word of notice.

The room was tiny, dingy and the bathroom was dirty (hair in the shower, bathroom smelled like urine, bed cover was stained, etc.).

Breakfast was a small room downstairs in the main hotel & it was perfectly adequate apart from the minor issue of the drinks machine operating extremely slowly so had to wait for that.

The negative the room for 4 of us was a bit small and a very disappointing buffet for breakfast with very little fruit.

1 minuet from the Spanish Steps, Via Condotti and Via del corso, and walking distance from all the interesting places .

although the room was smallish we were delighted with it as a base to range over all of the nearby landmark sites (Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and The Pantheon) and the chic shopping streets, Via Condotti and the Via del Corso.

The location of the hotel is superb with close proximity to all major sights and shopping along Via Condotti.

It is located a few steps from Piazza Spagna and the famous Via Condotti, in the middle of an old and traditional area of narrow streets, many restaurants and shops.

The hotel is also steps away from the "5th Avenue of Rome, the Via Condotti.

We were steps away from the Spanish Steps, Via Condotti (where the fancy shops are), five minutes from Trevi Fountain, tons of restaurants, and more.

There are nice shops and the Via Condotti is 2 blocks away where you will find all the luxury stores your heart desires.

The Spanish Steps and Via Condotti were just around the corner.

Of course Via Condotti is just around the corner where you can shop, shop, shop.

.staff were helpfull and accomodating, location is perfect -- easy access to metro, just off Via Condotti, great food places around.

The location is just a two minute walk from the Spanish Steps and just off the Via Condotti - Rome's chi chi shopping street.

The location is awesome, near the Spanish Steps and Via Condotti shopping.

The hotel is also well-located near the Spanish Steps, Via Condotti, Via Del Corso, and Piazza del Popolo to explore Rome!

Right next to Via Condotti, where there is wonderful shopping.

Perfectly situated off Via Condotti if you want to browse the excellent shops and have a choice of restaurants and pizzerias all within easy walking distance.

The location is fantastic as it is few meters from Piazza di Spagna and Via Condotti.

This is a lovely hotel around the corner from the Spanish Steps and Via Condotti shopping.

Only minutes away from The Spanish Steps and the shopping strip Via Condotti.

It's right in the middle of all the action, Spanish Steps, via Condotti, Villa Borghese, Piazza del Popolo and very close to the Metro for zipping around.

You had to go sideways and hit your shoulder on the wall mounted TV.

The angle of the shower head in the wall  is weird

Walls are paper thin, and we could every sound from the other rooms.

but acceptable 
The nose from the street carried on all night with delivery’s street cleaning and general noise of passers bye
When I checked out they said it wasn’t one of there noisey rooms
At 730 next door a doing work and there is the scraping of plaster off the walls 
3 nights ruined in Rome with not much sleep !

though there was no wall whatsoever between the two rooms.

but when I looked out, there was a cement wall for a view.

We had to use the extra blankets as padding
#5 - the walls and floors are so thin you hear everything of people next to you and above.

The walls seem to be thin and you might hear your neighbors,

You have stepped into a foyer resembling that of a piccolo palazzo; marble floored, colonnaded, antique furnished, rich tapestries and paintings on the walls.

Only reason not to give the hotel the excellent rating is because of the thin walls between the hall and the other rooms.

For example, our room had an adjoining temporary wall with the next room so there was definitely noise that came through.

Like all older buildings, the walls were thin, so you can hear people walking in the hall or when our neighbor used the bathroom.

Walls and windows are thin so the ear plugs they provide are appreciated.

From the scuffed-up plaques on the walls, to the sunken-in couches in the lobby, to the incredibly tight elevator that fits one and a half people uncomfortably, to the threadbare bedding, to the cheap soap, everything in this hotel felt extremely worn down and third rate.

Negative point: Our room was tight and very noisy (weak wall isolation).

The only downside is that the walls are extremely thin.

The walls were very thin - we could hear the people next door talking at normal volume until 2 or 3 in the morning.

We had been warned that the walls can be thin in hotel rooms in Rome and we did find that to be the case - we had particularly noisy neighbours for a couple of days which was disruptive

The shower was amazing with several different hoses.

The staff used a plunger and it was draining normally for three showers.

the breakfast is delicious, the bath is very good, we will definitely be back.

but that’s fine with me and the bathroom was actually quite roomy, updated and very clean.

The bathroom is small, and again very clean.

Room is nice, beautiful ceiling and comfy bathroom.

Beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom were spotless.

My solo room was a perfect size with  a modern and well-equipped bathroom almost as big as the room itself..the single bed comfortable with a tv close by.

Functional and clean this small old fashioned hotels best points were the friendly staff, the room to store your bags and toilet area downstairs to use after check out to freshen up.

Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean.

We didn't have any issues with taking a shower as we had hot water (I saw many complains about hot water & AC in Rome's hotels) & AC was very good.

The bathroom was comfortable and had all amenities, soap and towels were provided and abundant.

Beds were comfortable, breakfast was plentiful and good (they even made cappuccinos for those who wanted them), and water pressure in the shower was great!

The rooms are nice (especially the bathrooms)

We had a lovely double room with private bathroom with a good view of the street below.

but had everything we needed, tea making stuff, fridge, good size bathroom and it was spotless.

The shower stall's first cousin is the elevator which will hold one person and a suitcase or two or two people who want desperately to get intimate.

We were initially given a room with two separate beds (possibly something which was our mistake because once I looked closer that's what our ta confirm said) near the elevator

There is no lobby to speak of, the room key was a charming old key, and the elevator barely fit two people,

It has a small elevator, which is needed for 4th floor rooms (where I was).

We were on the fourth floor, just outside the elevator.
