The rooms were well appointed with all modern amenities.

Our room was very comfortable, the shower has great water pressure, and the location is fantastic.

but bathroom was a good size and the bed was really comfortable.

While we should have heard noise from our neighbors, the street, and the elevator, not once did we hear a peep, which made the Hotel B a great break from the noise and bustle of the city.

It has only 1 small elevator and it takes sometimes a while till it gets to you.

The hotel footprint is quite small and accordingly everything inside the hotel is small from the door to the hotel to the lobby and halls and elevator and most importantly the rooms.

There is one small elevator, appropriate for a hotel of this size and with little wait time.

Elevator was very small and air conditioning was not very cold (typical for Europe).

One thing awkward about the part of the hotel where we stayed was the need to go up and down stairs to get to the elevator (4th floor).

We were in Room 48; took the elevator to the 5th floor, then walked down 2 short flights of stairs and hallway to our room -- similar to a room we had at Banff Spring Resort years ago!

The hotel has a brand-new Schindler elevator that holds 6 people.

You should request a room away from the stairs and elevator.

The elevator was broken and was only fixed as we were checking out.

The elevator was also small and slow and I had to go up four flights of stairs,

- No kettle
- Lift doesn't work properly, as it doesn't stop at level 1 and 2

There have been recent renovations to the elevators and the showers.

The only downside is that, due to its small footprint, the bar and breakfast room are not large; most of the rooms are on the small side, as well.

Our room was a bit small and lacked a full length mirror (one was provided on request),

We were supposedly given a room upgrade and our room was tiny, I dread to think what room we would have had.

The room might be a bit small similar to all other hotels in the center

Note that rooms are on  the small side - if you're travellng with large luggage, you may be challenged.

There is one key in the “traditional” form that has to be returned to the reception every time you leave your room (not the “smart card key” situation here), the breakfast area is divided in 3 small rooms, so you have to book your time slot in the reception the night before.

At 12 sq meters, I knew my room would be small and it was.

Location is great, via Vento  meets Berbarini around the corner, cool feel, 15 mins or so walk to the heart of things, there's a metro at the square and there's a lovely walk to the Spanish steps which are very close, nice walk up from the hotel brings you out at the top of the steps.

Location is fantastic where you can walk to pretty much the main attractions like Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain.

The staff was so helpful we arrived in Citavechia from our Cruise and the hotel help us arrange a private driver from the port to the hotel which was on time in a Mercedes and waiting for us with a sign, we got a great room, breakfast in the hotel is so good and the location is amazing just steps from the trevi fountain and the Spanish steps , would come over again and recommend 100%

This charming hotel is in an excellent location just off Via Veneto and in close walking distance to the Spanish Steps, Borghese Gardens and Trevi fountain.

It was a bit noisy in our room as we were next to the lifts so could hear lift noise and people talking as they congregated near the lift.

The elevators were small and terrifying, so we opted for the stairs except when we were hauling luggage.

2) our room was situated with one side the linen room and the other side a lift so got noisy at night when guests used the lift.

Dark room on the 1st floor in front of the elevator in need of renovation.. Great disappointment for a romantic weekend.

The only downside was that one of the two lifts was out of action for part of the week.

The elevators are small and slow, so we often took the stairs.

A female employee who was working behind the desk followed him to the elevators and asked him if he was supposed to be there.

There are two elevators for guests to use, including an elevator that goes to the basement breakfast area.

The lift sounds like it is about to give up!

Only gripes - the elevator was decidedly rickety and toiletries and coffees weren’t replenished each day.

Our room was on the 2nd floor which is served by two lifts.

The only reason this hotel isn’t a five star rating is the noise of the lift.

We stayed in the Savoy hotel rome in August, the staff were friendly and helpful, the location was perfect, close to the Spanish steps and trevi Fountain, great rooftop bar.

Cons - Early check in not available (waited from 8:30am until 1:30pm to get a room) when check out is at 10am for all and  American Airline crew members in and out of hotel;no warm welcoming or perks like a drink unless you were part of American Airlines; no room temperature control

Hotel Savoy Roma

The bathroom was extremely rudimentary with the tiniest of showers ever seen in any hotel.

The bathroom was roomy enough and filled with good towels etc.

but very clean and plenty of towels and amenities.

It was a modern, stylish and clean double room, with a nice modern bathroom and easy to operate (roomy) shower. The king(?)

The bathroom was beautiful and had a shower with both rain shower and handheld.

The bathroom was great, roomy, and we had AC which was nice.

Bathroom was clean modern with good hot water pressure plus coffee tea and kettle provided.

but very clean and with all the necessary amenities.

Room has 1.5 bathrooms, separate location sofa, fridge and free inroom coffee.

The rooms we had were so clean, toilettes are disinfected  everyday.

Rooms were clean, and included a safe, slippers, extra pillow and blanket, soap, shower cap, cups, coffee machines, biscuits.

A great thing about the room was that it had 1 and a half bathrooms which was great since there were so many of us.

We walked to the Vatican, Colosseum, Diocletian Baths, Via del Corso (for fantastic shopping).

The bathrooms are large, clean and very well appointed.

It was a beautiful room with an interesting bathroom like we hadn’t seen before.

If you get a good deal, you are likely in a small room in another building.

The rooms are small and the beds weren’t the most comfortable.

The only caveat, I can say, the rooms are to small..

Also room was tiny, not enough room to get round the bottom of the bed.

Our room was very small with little room to set out our luggage and barely any room to walk around once our luggage was set up, awkwardly in corners and under windows.

I had a standard room and it was very small.

The only caveat:  a standard room is VERY small.

So, we’ve stayed at hotel condotti before and while the rooms were small we loved the location.. we decided this time, as my husband is a large man we would upgrade from a standard double room to a superior double.. we arrived after 2pm and were given our room key without a word of notice.

The room was tiny, dingy and the bathroom was dirty (hair in the shower, bathroom smelled like urine, bed cover was stained, etc.).

Breakfast was a small room downstairs in the main hotel & it was perfectly adequate apart from the minor issue of the drinks machine operating extremely slowly so had to wait for that.

Just stayed in Hotel Condotti for 3 nights - location is great and all (walking distance to Spanish steps and trevi fountain + just around the corner from via del condotti),

The location was great; very close to the Spanish Steps and about 10 mins walk to the Trevi Fountain.

Great local to Spanish Steps for shopping.

The hotel is minutes walking from the Piazza di Spagna (Spanish Steps) and we also walked every where from the Vatican to the Colosseum.

The location was excellent; very close to the Spanish steps and with many local bars and restaurants (although a fairly pricey area to eat and drink).

Location is a few steps from the Spanish steps and walking distance from Trevi, Pantheon and Navona.

This was a last minute booking for me and the hotel offered a rate for 3 people under $200 a night in the middle of a good location by the Spanish steps.

Walk to Spanish Steps, restaurants, shopping, and close to subway,  Very safe and clean.

You had to go sideways and hit your shoulder on the wall mounted TV.

The angle of the shower head in the wall  is weird

Walls are paper thin, and we could every sound from the other rooms.

but acceptable 
The nose from the street carried on all night with delivery’s street cleaning and general noise of passers bye
When I checked out they said it wasn’t one of there noisey rooms
At 730 next door a doing work and there is the scraping of plaster off the walls 
3 nights ruined in Rome with not much sleep !

though there was no wall whatsoever between the two rooms.

but when I looked out, there was a cement wall for a view.

We had to use the extra blankets as padding
#5 - the walls and floors are so thin you hear everything of people next to you and above.

The walls seem to be thin and you might hear your neighbors,

You have stepped into a foyer resembling that of a piccolo palazzo; marble floored, colonnaded, antique furnished, rich tapestries and paintings on the walls.

Only reason not to give the hotel the excellent rating is because of the thin walls between the hall and the other rooms.

For example, our room had an adjoining temporary wall with the next room so there was definitely noise that came through.

Like all older buildings, the walls were thin, so you can hear people walking in the hall or when our neighbor used the bathroom.

Walls and windows are thin so the ear plugs they provide are appreciated.

From the scuffed-up plaques on the walls, to the sunken-in couches in the lobby, to the incredibly tight elevator that fits one and a half people uncomfortably, to the threadbare bedding, to the cheap soap, everything in this hotel felt extremely worn down and third rate.

Negative point: Our room was tight and very noisy (weak wall isolation).

The only downside is that the walls are extremely thin.

The walls were very thin - we could hear the people next door talking at normal volume until 2 or 3 in the morning.

We had been warned that the walls can be thin in hotel rooms in Rome and we did find that to be the case - we had particularly noisy neighbours for a couple of days which was disruptive

Walls are very thin, i assume, as we could hear every steps and whispers of the neighbours.
