 - I really liked the room as it featured huge open space with marble floors and 3 balconies with views of Rome.
 - we have had a very pleasant stay with very nice rooms and beautiful marble bathroom and a balcony we saw only a very helpful staff with a high level of service the hotel is only 5-7 min on foot from the spanish stairs in a quiet exclusive neighborhood

 - It had marble flooring, and a large toilet.

 - - The hotel has a very strange rule about not allowing air conditioning until some unknown date in May.
 - After waiting an hour I asked if I could use the shower - it wasn’t offered to me - and they allowed me down to the spa area My room had no A/C for the first 2 nights.
 - The only downside was that the hotel is old so there is no air conditioning!
 - Air conditioning was not very responsive to setting changes.
 - Our first night we had a major problem with the air conditioning in our room.

 - The croissants were terrible, stale and barely edible.
 - though I had to give back the burned porridge.
 - Black timber floor flowed through the entry hall, the ante room with lounge and buffet, the very decadent bedroom, the walkthrough dressing room leading to an opulent marble bathroom.
 - buttons by the bed are really, I think , new with a look that blends in to set the lights and beautifully under-lit moldings.
 - The awkward location of the tub drain actually made in and out somewhat challenging to do without slipping, and we're not elderly.

 - We loved their Amorvero body lotion and wish we could buy it online
 - At check in and throughout the stay everyone we interacted with knew our names, we received an upgrade to a room with exactly the features we had requested with a small balcony and a huge bathroom, received all the Leaders Club amenities.
 - though for basic amenities, hot water especially.
 - Our room was recently renovated and was large with a beautiful, large green marble bathroom.

 - but this is not the Savoy that we expected Entrance hall attractive but rooms are 1950s style with poor heat / air-conditioning - very very noisy from around 0600 lovely roof terrace and staff were lovely too but let down by quality of rooms
 - We could see the lights from the hallway through the air conditioning unit which was slightly annoying when trying to sleep.
 - Not even mention the few minutes load noise like a washing machine at the ventilation system.
 - The rooms are stuffy and dark.

 - The lift sounds like it is about to give up!
 - Only gripes - the elevator was decidedly rickety and toiletries and coffees weren’t replenished each day.
 - Our room was on the 2nd floor which is served by two lifts.
 - button in one of the ancient lifts.
 - The elevator is very old, didn't feel comfortable in it.

 - 30min walk away from Vatican City, 25min to the coliseum & 15mins from Trevi fountain & Spanish Steps.
 - The Savoy is a short walk to The Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps.
 - The hotel was perfectly placed for us to walk the length and breadth of Rome, especially enjoying the nearby Trevi Fountain (pictured).
 - It's super near the main attractions like the trevi fountain, the Spanish Steps and the Barberini stop, which is like the main place to enjoy Rome!

 - Any room that has a bottle opener on the wall in the bathroom raises the memories of the no-tell motel scenes off major highways in the US.
 - Walls are also extremely thin and can hear people next door so clearly and loudly - not kidding when I say You can literallt hear.
 - Nice clean hotel, the walls are a bit thin so you here the persons in the other room.
 -
 - Secondly, the tv in the room was literally the size of your laptop hanging on the wall
