Helpful features include self service laundry (about ten euros to wash and dry good sized load) and the vending machines dispensing everything from toothpaste to Moet.

Nice hotel, decent sized clean rooms, helpful staff in reception clean small well cleaned bathrooms and a wonderful buffet breakfast served every morning with variety of food and drink options along with washer dryer facilities inside hotel, vending machines for water , sodas and other items made our stay very pleasing and relaxing right at the heart of Rome!

Secondly the rooms, a good size with a large bathroom.

As two friends traveling together, we appreciated the solid bathroom door, which seems to be disappearing from European hotels.

The amenities - a great breakfast buffet, a convenient laundromat, a rooftop restaurant and location  near Roma Termini and Republicca Metro.

Very comfy bed and bedding, and a lovely en-suite with great shower.

Rooms were very clean, roomy including the bathroom & more Importantly, very, very comfortable bed.

The rooms were modern and nice (and have a bidet!).

The highlight of the hotel is the breakfast.

The room was spacious and clean with a modern design, the staff was very kind and the breakfast was excellent.

Good and varied breakfast, with lots of options.

Hidden gem is probably the breakfast buffet that pumps out a great breakfast at very reasonable cost.

Breakfast at the hotel is a great inclusion, with beautiful pastries, plenty of hot and cold options, coffee, tea and juice.

It is located half a block from a ticket stand where you can buy Hop on Hop off tour bus tickets, and the bus stop is about 2 blocks away.

Walk to the colosseum, Trevi, Spanish Steps, or the bus is an easy 2 min walk away.

The hotel is modern and has great location, 15-20 min walk from all main attractions and also has Metro station 2 min away.

Can walk to key destinations or jump on the metro.

They helped us with the laundry, buying Metro cards and finding our places to visit.

Close to the railways and several metro stations.

Location also really good, walking distance to Metro, shopping areas and restaurants.

The hotel is clean and well presented, located within 15-20 minute walks from the Trevi fountain and Colosseum/Roman forum.

We walked to all of the other sights -- Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and the Spanish steps.

The room was sparkling clean and comfortable!

We stayed in a room with a king bed and single bed with plenty of room for the 3  of us.

Nice rooms that appear to have been recently refurbished.

Everything was clean, tidy and the room spacious.

Everyone is so friendly, the rooms are soundproof, the beds wonderful and every day the fridge and snacks are freshly stocked - free!

Secondly, the in room A/C unit never did much to take the warmth out of the room.

The hotel rooms are clean, modern & functional.

The only negative was that this shower was really small.

The shower is tiny; it was impossible not to bang my elbows on the sides while showering.

The mattress is on the firm side and the shower is small.

Minor points taken away for the small shower and breakfast not being included.

Cons: small showers, can be bit noisy if you are facing the street.

The rooms are small which is common for lots of European hotels, so you may be tripping over your luggage if you have a lot.

Though our room is small, the design provides for many areas for storage--we were able to store our large suitcases under the bed.

While the rooms are small, they have all the amenities and hopefully you're not spending your vacation in the room.

The fitness centre is small and very little room for stretching.

Our room for 3 people was BIG - a real find in a city of small rooms - and had enough storage to accomodate 3 decent suitcases and accessories.

Along the corridor from our room there was a small room with two self service machines; one had sandwiches, crisps, chocolates, pop and beer and the other had razors, tissues, toothpaste etc for those late night munchies/emergencies.

The front desk staff were welcoming and friendly.

The restaurant was also beautiful and again the staff were brilliant.

The front desk personnel was friendly and helpful with directions.

IQ is a wonderful hotel close to the train station next to the Roma Opera House   The staff was so helpful and friendly.

The front desk staff provides great hospitality and is very helpful with restaurant recommendations and reservations, and reserving taxis and private transfers.

It is about a 10 minute walk to Trevi fountain and 15-20 minutes to Colosseum.

Not far (walking) from main attractions, close to train station, excellent restaurants near-by.

but it's much more convenient than walking to and waiting in some nearby laundromat.

When we return to Rome we will definately stay here as it is perfect for reaching all the sites and was just an 8 minute walk from the Rome Termini station which was absolutely perfect.

Only 15 minutes walk to the main sites such as Colosseum and Trevi Fountain.

So close to Roma Termini station, 5min walk.

We would defintely come back to the IQ Hotel Roma if we travel to Rome again.

The hotel itself is well located. It's about a 10 min walk to the train/metro "termini."

After taking the train into Rome Termini the hotel was just a 5 minute walk away.

The sights were about a 20-25 minute walk from the hotel,

We could walk to all the major sites in 15-20 mins.

Gym, Sauna, Jacuzzi, air conditioned rooms, IMacs, full buffet breakfast, right in the centre of Rome about 20 mins walk from all the major attractions.

Great location (10 min walk from termini train station- we flew to Rome and took the train to the train station and walked to the hotel. Only recommend doing this if you don’t have too many bags as it’s Europe and it’s tough to roll a suitcase on the cobblestones

The rooms are clean and bathrooms very attractive with fresh linens daily.

There was plenty of room in the bathroom and it could be easily fixed.

Same with the bathroom toiletries, we were there for 3 nights, with nome being topped up.

The rooms are spacious and windows are soundproof to keep out all the noise in the area, shower is wonderful and plenty of hot water!

My room was very large and had a very big bathroom with a bath/shower; my friend’s room was slightly smaller, with a shower.

We ordered food for our room from the downstairs restaurant and it was delicious.

It has the best breakfast offerings imaginable!

The breakfast was very good for the price paid.

We have a lovely meal in the restaurant on our first evening and the breakfast offerings were superb.

The first noticeable confusion is during the breakfast where the servers are always confused about who gets what coffee.

Hotel staff were all lovely, from the reception staff checking us in to all the lovely breakfast staff.

Breakfast offered a good choice of fruit, cheeses etc.

Breakfast better than expected with fresh fruits, muesli, croissants, bacon and cold cuts.

Breakfast was nice, I stuck to just croissants because of my allergies and didn't want to make a fuss.

Eggs, bacon and sausage were all served lukewarm, at best, in an unheated container.

Breakfast was nice, with scrambled and hard boiled eggs, sausage, bacon, fruits, and a selection of breads/pastries.

If you are looking to jump on the metros to see Rome - this is a GREAT location for you.

Very central location: 2 min walk to the metro, 4 min to the main railway station and 10 min to a nice area with many restaurants and bars.

This hotel is located a very short walk from the train station so it's easy to get to either from a bus or coach from the airport or direct from/to the train station.

Location - a few minutes on foot from the main train station, metro station and bus terminus (all at Termini).

The hotel is a quick walk from the Termini station and the metro so getting in and out was fantastic!

Being close to the train station and bus lines, this hotel is the perfect location to travel to and from.

but you are also right next to a Metro station that takes you most places you want to be when In Rome.

We took the airport bus from the airport and arrived at the hotel at around 9am.

however trains, buses and hop on/hop off buses all at your fingertips.

but it is really easy to get the metro( 5 mins from Hotel and super cheap).

Definitely well-located for bus terminals and train station.

It’s close to the metro train/bus line which is convenient.

Hop on hop off bus tickets available at Una itself and pickup point was close by.

It is very close to the train and bus terminus and is of a very high standard yet very competitively priced.

The hotel is an easy bus journey from the airport to Terminee Station and a short walk from there, the rooms spacious and clean, with a great shower, which was used often after hot days of sightseeing, breakfast is a buffet which had plenty of choice.

Great location in terms of proximity to the metro, bus station and the railway stations.

but they have swiped my credit card upon check-in or they could have asked me to pay upon check-in either.

Stayed here last week and have charge on September 22nd that we did not do and have emailed three times, messaged once and still no response.

although I thought a 5 euro surcharge for a grapefruit juice was a bit much.

He said they charge additional fee for terrace which I did not requested.

It took us a few minutes to figure out the electric (you leave the card in the slot!

but you can ask for bath salts at no charge!

We weren't told at the beginning about the tax on staying in Rome so that did come to a bit of a surprise when we checked out and had spent all our money, it was lucky I had a credit card to hand.

Breakfast was decent, do not go into Italian hotels expecting a range of eggs as they will charge extra which is odd.

When we went to pay, it was past closing, so we had to go to the front desk of the hotel to pay with card.

There were no extra charges for the beds.

The only issue was  on both occasions if you would like ice the bar charges you 10Euro.

To make amends for the mistake, Emanuele who checked us in, ensured us we would be moved to a superior room the following day for the rest of our stay and at no extra charge.

We found (during booking) that the extra night organised via Trafalgar tours was charged at a whopping EXTRA 300 euro!!

To the hotel's credit, after I made a complaint, we came back to a brand new shower fixture.

The card didn't look like it would have an NFC chip in it,

manager permitted us an upgrade..at checkout though, the upgrade was charged to us ($200).

Beware of credit card handling - may take a photo copy without your knowledge.

So, rather than offer a free upgrade, they tried to charge us more for their error!!

The hotel has a modern , clean, contemporary feel.

The building is modern, the rooms have high ceilings and are spacious.

The room itself was modern, clean, and without flaw.

Good decor, modern and extremely, with toiletries provided, a safe which is free to use, a mini-bar which you may not wish to use

Rooms are modern, clean, spacious (had a superior room as a free upgrade).

.the rooms are very big and modern, if you want to be close to the Termini and close to a lot of the mayor tourist attractions, you can stay here.

The rooms were airy and modern and very comfortable.
