 - The rooms are immaculate, cleaned regularly, with complimentary soaps, body lotions etc and the towels are changed daily.
 - but clean and well furnished, bathroom excellent, shower powerful and hot.
 - This hotel was a wonderful surprise with it's modern stylish rooms, breakfast buffet, happy hour and a quick walk to the newly remodeled Termini station with so many delicious amenities for the traveler.
 - The room was beautifully decorated, clean, with all necessary amenities and a fantastic plus for us, it had sky TV!!!

 - but their are only small rooms within the main building of the hotel.
 - If you visit there in a couple (so we did) please consider that the rooms are really very small.
 - EXTREMELY SMALL ROOMS You do not get what you paid for!
 - The room was on the small side which is typical in Europe.
 - One small thing in our room was that there was no mirror in the main bedroom, only a small one in the bathroom so not great for getting ready.

 - Although it was overlooking the street it wasn’t too noisy.
 - but then found a blanket on the cupboard and kept the heating blower on which was noisy but made the room more cosy.
 - Too noisy and we could hear every vehicle that was passing by.
 - The Hotel is also on a noisy street and even their so called executive room (209) was so noisy as it faces a street.
 - Thin walls, we could hear the bathroom and conversation within from next door.

 - You can also go to visit the Colosseum, the Piazza Venezia and the Basilica di Santa Croce,

 - Great and complete breakfast in the rooftop.
 - The breakfast on the rooftop with view is a wonderful start into the day.
 - The location is excellent and the roof top bar was perfect to have a drink and unwind after a day of touring and exploring.
 - We were treated with a complimentary bottle of wine on the roof top terrace.
 - The rooftop patio/bar was also very nice & I enjoyed my breakfast there every morning.

 - Big bathroom for Europe standard.
 - Good bathroom and bed, good working airconditioning.
 - The room was very spacious, quiet, clean and the bathroom was gorgeous.
 - Despite this, it’s still a wonderful property if you are looking for a central, simple, and clean home-base in Rome, just don’t expect much more in terms of luxury, space, and amenities.
 - The bathroom was spotless and large.

 - For instance, the walls in our standard room were marked up and thin, the amenities were old, and the lock on our bathroom did not work.
 - but exceptionally clean, the bed was very comfortable, there was nothing to see through the windows apart from walls.
 - 3 days into our 5 night reservation my husband asked me how this compared to the other places we had stayed in Monte Carlo and Athens because he found the room shabby (the shower leaked, there was a hole in the wall and the room was incredibly small).
 - The room was small, full of scuffs and nicks on the walls.
 - Our shower sprayer and toilet seat were broken, the bathroom tile was chipped, the shower door didn't close tightly, there was no place in the shower to put toiletry items, and the walls throughout were dirty and banged up.

 - but in a quiet piazza-- it is easy to get everywhere, but no one will disturb your sleep.
 - The superior plus room was great, located on the side of the piazza.
 - The hotel is situated perfectly -- it's in close proximity to the Forum, Trastevere, the Pantheon/Piazza Navona and numerous bus stops which make access to the remainder of the city very easy.
 - But even better than its proximity to these places was its relative seclusion, on a practically hidden piazza away from the noise and crowds.
 - The location is great - easy walking to Piazza Navona.

 - Breakfast was pre-scheduled and served to you on the terrace.

 - There are many restaurants and shops as well a metro station close by.
 - It was in such a good location, walking distance to the station and hop on hop off bus stops.
 - The location of this hotel is not only very convenient specially if visiting Rome for sightseeing, as both the metro station and the main bus station are not very far and one can can easily walk there.
 - Great location across from the 15th-century Bassilica Santa Maria Maggiare and 3 blocks from the Central Rail Station.

 - but they absolutely made up for this the next day by putting us in a Junior Suite with a great view of the piazza and putting some prosecco and snacks in the room.
 - The hotel is 20 minutes walk from Trevi, Spanish Steps, Colosseum and only 25 minutes from Pantheon and Piazza Navona - given how easy Rome is to walk around, we didn’t use public transport once to get around.
 - Our huge windows opened out to the piazza in front, with Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore just off to the right.
 - Nice church piazza across the street.
 - The setting is on the 4th (5th) floor of a building overlooking the piazza.

 - Our initial bewilderment at being dropped off by the taxi in front of a gigantic and imposing door (firmly shut as it was past 7pm) quickly gave way to delight once we found our way to the 4th floor via a tiny lift.
 - The property itself is on the 4th floor of the building pictured and can be reached via a small elevator.
 - Old fashioned small elevator - Sufficient for 2 guest with normal amount of luggage, anything over the normal amount (1 large and 1 small bag per person) you will be taking two trips.
 - Do not be put off by the difficult to find entrance or the very small elevator.
 - I had doubts about this hotel when I saw the front door (residential building, dark entrance once you open the door and absolutely tiny elevator),

 - The location of the hotel was superb (the main reason why I’ve rated it so high), it was in walking distance of some of Rome’s best attractions like the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain.
 - The Colosseum is just walking distance away.
 - We walked to the Colosseum (about 2/3 a mile or 15 minutes) without problem.

 - Neat to walk through the little door at the street level.
 - Therefore, you enter the door from the hall to a small area with the closet & refrigerator and then there is another door to the main room you can close at night too.
 - If it wasn’t for the people coming out if the opening in the large blue door, we would have missed the entrance.

 - But we found that there was construction work going on in said courtyard.
 - We booked this hotel last minute after finding out that the Spagna metro stop was closed for construction.
 - Sadly we got a room that was dark due to the view of a miserable small courtyard and major construction work going on from 7am daily.
 - Later in the stay we were told the construction would not start until after 9:00 (still not ok and not consistently observed).
 - During the week, construction started at 7:00 am and was noticeable in our room.
