Gaia then took us on a tour of the historic villa and led us to our room which was exceptional from the toiletries, to the music playing, to the scent and furnishings, to the balcony with sweeping views of the ocean and Sorrento.

Place is a  5+ from Mario’s welcome to our departure by the car driver.the amenities is that old school vibe with a modern twist.

The rooms were exceptionally clean and filled with amenities.

The infinity jetted pool as well as our own private hot tub were wonderful!

Our room was cleaned and restocked every day with plenty of water, towels, fresh robes, etc.

We stayed in two different rooms and both were beautiful and had all the Amenities you could want.

butterflies, lemon trees, lizards, views, and well-designed spaces), the rooms are gorgeous and incredibly clean (custom painted walls, beautiful tile, and they make your bed every time you leave), and the amenities are top notch (gorgeous and seemingly private pool, jacuzzi, and rooftop).

The bathroom is beautiful and the shower was to die for.

The bathroom even provided robes and slippers, plus extras in case we forgot any toiletry needs.

We had a sea view room with jacuzzi and the views were incredible everything was spotless and the room was absolutely beautiful.

Their complimentary car service turned out to be the single most valuable amenity this place offers.

We sipped prosecco while he told us about the hotel, amenities and overall stay.

All the additional amenities such as breakfast, jacuzzi, shuttle service - were all so important!

The amenities included many complementary accessories to make our experience as relaxing as any spa we have ever visited, which was a greatly appreciated break from the fast pace of high stress jobs back in the States.

The hotel is so beautiful and the amenities are world class.

Our room was incredibly appointed with beautiful and stylish tile work throughout, vaulted ceilings and perhaps one of the best showers we have experienced.

The amenities on the room are exceptional.

The amenities more than make up for the cost of the hotel.

Although at the moment of the booking it was a nonrefundable offer,  I paid everything at the end of my trip, didn’t felt the “money pressure”.

We were upgraded to a very nice room with a jacuzzi and a great view of Vesuvius.

The hotel provides car service, which is very convenient.

So helpful to have the car service to take you to/from the marina or the main town.

The car service was quick and extremely helpful to get where we wanted to go and the drivers were wonderful.

As far as the experience, the moment you get picked up by the hotels driver and car it was the best service we had received.

Access to a beach club is included as well as car service, which is much needed in Capri, to and from the dock, beach club, Capri town and area restaurants.

In particular, the complimentary car service was great and allowed us to more easily tour around the island.

- They have a free car service to different points on the island, including Capri Town center - runs until 10pm.

The staff took care of our every wish  with dinner reservations and complimentary car service to and from city center.

One of the other niceties of the hotel is the car service that is available at all times and quickly drops you off where you want to be while picking you up with very little wait after a simple message to the hotel that you're ready to head back.

But the car service at the hotel was always available, fast and reliable.

The shuttle car service with Buddaka the driver was swift, flexible beyond even the actual opening hours and a great help in mountainous Capri.

Another fabulous benefit of the hotel was the car service, which took us to town countless times not only saving us a lot of money on taxis, it saved us a lot of time.

They offer a free car service to both and it was available the entire stay for our room(first time I have ever seen a shuttle so efficient at a hotel).

but they provide a complementary car service that was extremely easy to use and was always available whenever we needed it.

The car service is always available and both Woody and Pradeep were like friends.

The villa, which is perfectly positioned between the marina and the main square, is easily accessible via their brand new VW ID4 electric car service provided by their staff.

Nothing is too big an ask for Pepe and all staff participate in ensuring an amazing stay. Because of their car service (thank you Buddika!)

The breakfast is amazing, their car service is prompt and so useful.

This was unacceptable and then I tried to explain to the hotel by WhatsApp what had happened and they couldn’t seem to fix it, albeit they tried).

The Excelsior team reconvened and went above and beyond to fix the miscommunication.

We asked the hotel staff to fix this issue and they gave us a can of bug spray.

We stayed 4 nights and it was never fixed?

First time they made a "mistake" their finance department was pretty hopeless to fix it and this time I find it hard to believe that they mistakenly charged my credit card twice in two weeks.

It seems that with a small investment they could fix most of it and I hope they will.

It was only when I asked where the other car was that he said it was in the garage getting fixed and this was his own personal car.

We mentioned it on our way out to dinner that night and by the time we got back to the room they were both fixed and working fine.

but they were able to fix it after they verified thK
at it was not our equipment that was the problem.

but little things like having two cars available with someone to drive you to one of two locations which reduced hill climbs a time to enjoy the sites of Capri was fantastic .

We were first picked up at the port by the driver, Buddika, who is such a pleasant person and willing to take us around town.

The drivers were kind and always ready to take us where we wanted to go.

Gaia the owner (private family owned hotel) began to communicate with me day before and had her driver ready within minutes to pick us up once we got off ferry (they have two private vehicles that will get you around the island for free and they are always ready - if u haven’t been to Capri I can tell you what a big deal this is).

The wonderful reception and catering staff and also a big thank you to the wonderful drivers.

And here the drivers are extremely discreet and friendly.

The exceptional service extended to every department, from the bartending by the pool, to the restaurant with Pepe , the drivers, and to the front desk team.

Notable is the concierge, and the gentlemen from Sri Lanka, the driver. A+.

The hotel drivers were swift to take us wherever we wanted to go each day!

Buddika is the most amazing driver who is beyond friendly.

The waiter Peppe was so attentive, the receptionist were all so helpful and Bodhi the driver who drops and picks up from everywhere was so kind.

We had a driver who was nearly 24/7 available and made sure we always arrive save to our destination also giving us tipps where we should go to enjoy our stay on the island.

They provide shuttle services to the main attractions of the island and are always ready to pick you up whenever you ask and the drivers are very kinda and are always ready to help with directions.

There was a driver that picked us up from the marina & was available anytime to take us to different places throughout the city.

It offers a free shuttle to both destinations and the drivers were so kind and helpful (Buddika, Pradeep).

The drivers were friendly and drove safely.

While the hotel is not in a central area, they have cars ready to drive to the main town of Capri.

but the driver from Sri Lanka was a nice man and a very good driver, very friendly.

The service started with Mario arriving in the marina to take out suitcases and bring them to the car.

Excelsior Parco offers a free ride to Marina Grande and the City Center.

They are so quick to arrange transfers to and from Capri and the Marina port by a simply WhatsApp message.

The hotel is located in the perfect place between the main square and the big marina (Marina Grande).

They provide free shuttle service (to Marina and Capri).

Can walk to the harbor or catch a bus to the upper town on an island that is about as pretty as it gets.

The free shuttle to the town center or down to the marina area was so convenient.

They have a car to take the guests to the piazzeta or the Marina everytime we wanted.

When we finally arrived Marina Grande, Buddika (our driver for the whole stay) welcomed us in the best and warmest possible way with his positive and smiling personality.

Close to Marina Grande, the Excelsior Park Luxury Villa was a real find.

The terraces both had incredible views overlooking the beautiful landscape and Marina Grande.

Buddy (pronounced boo-dee) picked us up at the dock (in his electric vehicle), and was then available to drive us to and from the marina or city center at any time throughout our stay (even after checkout).

The Luxury Villa Excelsior Parco is near these landmarks: Sentiero Del Passetiello Capri, Monte Solaro, I Faraglioni, Chiesa Della SS.

Halfway up from the part (Marina Grande) to the town so not in the thick of the crowds

We went to our room which had our luggage waiting and found a really beautiful space with a terrace out to the view over the island and picturesque bay seeing little ships and boats go in and out of the harbor.

A wonderful place, we enjoyed a beautiful room with a huge balcony and a great sea side view over Marina Grande.

The location is by Marina Grande and you do need the hotels car service or taxi to get anywhere.

Not only is the location outstanding with a wonderful view to the ocean and close proximity to Marina Granda with all the ferry’s to the main land.

We made the mistake of emailing for the courtesy shuttle (instead of calling) for a pick up at the port and figured we would just walk to the hotel with our luggage.

Don't make the mistake of day-tripping this amazing island!

I made the mistake to book a garden view room, I thought we would spend the day anyhow somewhere on the island and in the evening could sit and relax in the lovely park/garden.

If you do this, you are making a mistake!

I wasn't even staying at their hotel, and the mistake was more mine than theirs, and in an expensive town where you are usually charged for everything this was incredible!

Also, I had meetings are night time in the piazza, and they have a shuttle service (for free) any place you want to go, you just have to wait for the driver!

but from there you can hop onto the funicular straight up to the main piazza in Capri town.

The view from my room is lovely and the free  shuttle service to the marina and the main piazza in Capri was very helpful .

The hotel is located midway between the main port and the piazza.

Viviana sat with us on arrival and gave us maps and pointed out things to do and Andres was always available to drive us to the piazza or beyond.

Andres (shuttle driver) was always happy to drive me into the piazza & made it so much easier transferring to & from the marina with heavy luggage in tow.

What made this hotel special was the level of detail and how attentive the staff were.

The other staff members were equally as wonderful.

Pepe was so kind to us and made us feel very welcome.

The staff went above and beyond and truly made our experience the most memorable.

Pepe and the entire staff were extremely nice and anticipated all our needs … breakfast was excellent and we had the surprise to have our room upgraded with a large balcony and a wonderful view on the sea.

The staff are so welcoming and make you feel like they’re welcoming you into their home, and they are pure and genuine.

The team were more than kind and accommodating to us after having such a stressful morning.

He drove us to the hotel and we were greeted by more staff.

The world's top hotels could learn a thing or two from the Luxury Villa Excelsior Parco team.

Gaia and her team manage any reservation - restaurants, beach clubs (palm hotel, marina piccola).

The staff will assist you with whatever you need.

The staff was very professional yet warm and friendly.

We even ate dinner there one night as they have a beautiful outside dinning area and Peppe, F&B manager, and his staff are awesome.

We were greeted on arrival with a drink in the shade of the lemon trees.

the excelsior parco in Capri is way better for the service the food and the care they take to make their client totally comfortable I believe this place is  family owned it’s probably what makes a big difference

The room was charming, well sized, and the shower was the best we had on our two week trip.

If you are arriving via Florence or another well appointed hotel bring all those extra lotions/soaps/toiletries/coffees sugars and lotions with you as they provide very bare bones soap w cheap instant coffee and that’s it.

The hotel is central, the room was lovely - nice bathroom too.

Room was nicely decorated, beds were comfy and shower was great.

We had a quiet comfortable twin room with a modern bathroom and a lovely shower.

Our room was clean and well appointed, with all the features you’d expect - nice bed, full bath, and small fridge.

This shower is the best so far on our stay in Italy.

but they are very more than adequate as was the bathroom.

The room was spacious enough for 2 and the bathroom had a big shower.

but the shower was good--and they had wash cloths!

though the room was small the shower was great, bed comfortable and the staff very friendly and receptive to our questions.

but the highlight was the clothesline which is a bonus for those like me who did some washing in the bathroom.

The shower was warm and good pressure and the breakfast was outstanding!

but we appreciated the amenities of good wifi, hot water maker, coffee, charger plugs, mini frig, and very comfortable bed.

The rooms were clean and comfortable.The bathrooms were bright and clean too.

The bathroom was good, and breakfast was amazing.

Room good size with aircon, great bathroom with huge shower, comfortable bed and pillows and a lift!

The breakfast was very good-in the lovely garden, with made-to-order food as well as a small buffet.

The breakfast far surpassed anything I expected.

Breakfast in the morning was outside on the terrace with everything you could possibly want.

Breakfast was fantastic and the lemon garden is a dream.

We spent 4 nights there, had breakfast in the lemon garden twice which was excellent, hiked the towns 1 day and relaxed on the beach the other two.

Breakfast was fast, and very pleasant in the lemon garden.

We traveled two weeks in Italy and my families favorite hotel was here because of the breakfast.

Fantastic location - it was no effort to stroll back from the beach if we forgot something! From the ladies who cleaned our rooms and were so friendly and helpful -to the staff who produced the fantastic breakfasts - to the always pleasant reception staff (especially the FANTASTIC Lina!! )

And the breakfast, amazing in the Lemon garden when it was nice weather.

One reason we chose the Hotel Marina was for the great comments on the breakfast and it did not fail to meet expectations.

Surrounded by lemon and apple trees we are waited on by staff eager to please.

The breakfast was absolutely the highlight of the stay.

Air conditioning worked, thankfully, and breakfast on the lemon shaded patio was wonderful with several hot choices from the menu brought to you.

The breakfast in their little Meyer Lemon paradise was everything you could ask for and more!!!

On their beautiful lemon garden you would find a plethora of pastries and can order omelets, crepes or other breakfast items.

The rooftop garden where breakfast is served is beautiful and the range of breakfast options outstanding.

The breakfast in the lemon garden was lovely each morning as was the afternoon wine and pesto tasting.

They offer a bountiful breakfast in the lemon garden, a pesto and pasta tasting and evening wine all FREE which makes this hotel really worthwhile.

They have a beautiful lemon garden up on the terrace where we enjoyed breakfast every morning.

The service was top notch and the morning breakfasts in the roof top garden were superb -plentiful summer fruits, freshly made crepes and  omelettes, cereals, yoghurts, cookies and cake, coffee and juices.

The large lemon grove garden was a true oasis to relax in and we always had it all to ourselves in the afternoon.

Breakfasts on the rooftop garden were delicious and the never-ending supply of water on the first floor was a life-saver.

The breakfast and cocktail hour were phenomenal in the beautiful lemon garden.

Breakfast was served in the lemon garden on nice days.

We were also taken by the welcoming drinks on offer on the roof garden on the day we arrived as well after having had a long train journey.

We liked our location near the rooftop garden where they serve breakfast in the morning and drinks in the early evening.

We appreciated the welcome drink and pesto sampling on the lemon garden terrace.

We had chosen the Marina Hotel for its location and for the reviews from the Trip Advisor.

We stayed 3 nights at Albergo Marina and loved it!

Marina the owner was so lovely and helpful along with all the other staff that worked there.

Stayed at Albergo Marina for 5 days in June.

We stayed at the Marina for a week during our hiking trip in the Cinque Terre area.

If we ever have the opportunity to return to Monterosso we will definitely stay at the Albergo Marina!

We were fortunate to get a table in Da Eraldo, which is a restaurant owned by Marina and her husband.

Marina helped up with advice about the hiking trail.

Marina and her staff are an amazing group of people.

Albergo Marina was exactly the experience we were looking for and in a perfect location for visiting the Cinque Terre.

First day Marina helped me find the best option for hiking/train passes for the family, then 2nd day had great tips for kayaking and lent out snorkeling gear for a day at the beach.

Upon checkout we mentioned that we had a wonderful stay regardless of the parking issue and Marina was quick to apologize and even adjusted the bill to pay for 1 night of parking.

The cleaning is spotless and Marina and the staff go out of their way to be helpful, I even witnessed them helping other travellers who went there by accident find their hotel and call the owner to come and get them.

Location is on a quiet street away from the noise of the main Piazza, and the 4th floor lemon garden should not be missed.

The bathroom was tiny with an even smaller shower.

We were in room 64 and the bathroom was a little small,

But the room was very small and the bathroom is smaller than in a cruiseship cabin.

I can deal with a small bath for that breakfast.

The bathroom was small, having only a shower.

In terms of the rooms, average ~200sqft room, small bathroom was my only complaint.

For a family of four adults, we had one room that was pretty small, including a small bathroom.

Room was a bit small as was the bathroom.

but it was not a bother to us, bathroom was a bit small but adequate for the average person, anybody with disability would struggle in here.
