We always bring our laptop to watch Netflix on our holiday to relax in the evening and we were happy that the internet was amazing at the location of our room.

but very clean shower rooms with good power showers and a heated towel rail.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

We were very happy with the Alpenkrone itself. The rooms were clean and tidy, the showers were easy to use (always a bonus after a hot day on a hill!)

The room was clean, no carpet as we asked and had a niece view on the mountains.

Our room was very clean, the bed very comfortable and as the hotel was not directly in the village, it was really peaceful at night.

We had a fabulous holiday: the hotel staff were very friendly and family orientated; we loved our well-appointed room that had  spectacular views of the village and mountains; and we had a balcony that was perfect for photography and just enjoying the natural beauty.

Also, there was a regular free ski bus during the daytime.We had a comfortable, spacious and spotless room with a balcony which looked out from the front of the hotel.

It seems churlish to comment on the hotel's decoration, as the rooms are spotlessly clean, have great views in the main, and 

The waitress was very rude saying we should study the menu better in the morning !

You are required to pay quite a lot for your pet (10€ per day) and still the staff was very unpolite, rude and unfriendly about it.

The owner far too ready to be rude and pick a fight.

although the bed did have a dubious stain on the bed sheet which the hotel did replace, when asked to.

neither the sheets nor the towels were changed in the 4 nights we were there.

The rooms are old and "feel" dirty, sheets are changed only after 5 days, old carpet and slightly slimy fabrics.

Superb food and a great spa with saunas and swimming pool.

So many public areas, terraces and rooms to relax in throughout the hotel and spa was well appointed and the views spectacular.

There is a swimming pool, pool table, ping pong table, great sauna.

The sauna area is also very lovely and relaxing.

The pool area was nice too, and the spa treatment was reasonably priced (full body massage), and was an absolute dream.

The sauna and the sanarium are also good (but take care, german/austrian people tend to use them naked).

The spa facilities were as good as anywhere I have been before and there is a pleasant quiet bar area.

The nicest thing about this hotel is the spa area ( adults only) .

They have a great little spa with sauna, steam room and cold plunge.

We used the pool and spa on our final day in Filzmoos.

It is a well appointed hotel with pool and spa.

There are also a number of massages and special steam baths available which you can pay for.

The spa area with the massages are also enjoyable.

Asked for a high floor quiet room on booking and got room 312 which as a bonus was a family room with separate part with another two single meds and loads more storage space.

I also love some dressers with drawers to put the boardgames and other little stuff in.

You can hire a towelling robe for 4 Euros for your stay, which saves on packing space and means you can wander from your room to the spa area.

We had two rooms in the "apartment" wing which had lovely views and plenty of space, comfortable and nice and clean -

The bedroom was spacious with adequate storage, very comfortable Austrian twin beds and a spacious balcony with stunning views.

There was ample storage space for four of us to completely unpack our cases, which is rare.

In addition to the Austrian twin beds and normal selection of wardrobes and drawers, the room came with a sofa, two arm chairs and a table.

Despite extreme temperatures room was always at a bearable level.

The temperature of the swimming pool is a bit too cold for normal recreation,

but it's usually due to the ch system being controlled by the outside temp and tbh I'd rather be warm than too cold!

We had a room temperature issue, as we felt a bit chilly at 17-18 degrees by night,

We have stayed before with Ali and Denise who are most excellent hosts with a vast knowledge of the area for all activities.

Very knowledgable about the area and able to give great advice for days out.

Both Ali and Denise’s knowledge of the local area is excellent.

Their knowledge of the area is excellent and helpful as i was solo traveller.

The venue was ideal with wonderful views from our bedroom of the surrounding area.

The owners, Alistair and Denise were amazing, very friendly, give us lot of advises about the area, what to do, where to go.

We stayed 6 nights in July and could not have asked for better hosts, Alistair and Denise are a great team, providing a beautiful breakfast (Gluten free catered for), a comfortable room and more than enough up to date information about the area.

Ali and Denise have a vast knowledge of the area and are more than obliging in taking you around.

Would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone staying in the area

This is the 2nd time I have stayed here and is now my preferred B&B for the area.

Ali and Denise are welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable about the area and always willing to help in any way.

Alistair has videos on anything you might considering doing in the area from go-karting to ski-biking.

It is set in a beautiful and tranquil area below the Dachstein glacier.

They are always happy to recommend activities in the area depending on what you like.

Pension Haus Maria is a really great, clean, comfortable b&b and set within a very picturesque area.

They were kind and shared many tips about the area which helped us when choosing restaurants and navigating to where we wanted to visit.

The use of the garage for our bikes was brilliant.

The accommodation was great, including the secure parking for the bikes.

Spending a few days off the bike in such beautiful surroundings was very welcome and the hosts Ali & Denise could not be more friendly and helpful.

Bikes were garaged during our 4 night stay and our host Ali was very knowledgeable about the local area and good roads to ride being a biker himself.

We were 3 guys on a bike tour of Austria and Italy.

I stayed at Pension Haus Maria for 10 days and had some fantastic rides, then at the end of each day my bike was parked in a lovely clean and dry garage.

Ali leads tours of bike groups to all over the area (Grossglockner mountain for example) and offers insider tips of all sorts of things to do in the region.

Although this is undoubtedly the best place to stay in Austria if you are touring on a bike, I would also not hesitate to recommend it to anyone planing a visit to the area for other reasons.

Our bikes were placed in to lovely clean and perfectly dry garage.

I`ll 110% reccomend this pension for the bikers - there are garage to park your bikes, and you can repair something is needed.

Or, if you wish, you can have a few days off the bike and never be stuck for things to do.

We planned a trip to Austria and simply looked for accommodation on line, we were in luck as the whole experience was made truly epic by the hosts Ali and Denise, from routes, advice with things to do 'off bikes' and the help with lifts to attractions and local restaurants in the eves not to mention sorting 2 new tyres and Ali going out to find oil for one of the bikes while we went out to play!

This biker friendly B & B is situated in a beautiful location, there is garage and workshop provision for the bikes and it is spotlessly clean.

As before, the welcome was superb, the bike was put to bed and we were given a welcome drink, or 2!

Our room was very clean with a terrace balcony to sit out on, there was also a sitting room down stairs to use for relaxing, and a good size garage to keep the bike.

They efficiently showed us our room and sorted out the parking for the bike - in a garage.

The bikes were put to bed, and a beer was poured within 10 minutes.

Two of us were biking through in very wet weather and we were provided with indoor parking for the bikes and a drying room for the gear.

This happened every night and meant no need to use the bike in the evening - what a brilliant idea.

The rooms are very clean and modern and have some of the best views you'll ever see from your balcony.

As well as a tremendous view , the en suite rooms are spotless, with everything you could need to make you comfortable during your stay at Pension Haus Maria .

Wonderful views from the balcony of the mountains and some great hiking routes on the doorstep.

Myself and 2 friends stayed at Haus Maria during a biking tour and I have to say that the 3 day stay was perfect.

It was our first tour of Austria and wow what a country, great views, magnificent roads, superb food and then there was Ali and Denise, nothing was to much trouble, lending you a jacket to booking a table at a restaurant we owe them both a huge thank you.

We had a spacious accommodation with a kitchen and dining area in a beautiful place. It offers a walk in shower, spacious sink with room to store a lot of toiletries on and underneath it, a microwave, stove, dishwasher, pots, pans, cutlery and dishes, etc., quiet(!)

My opinion was influenced by: comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen, great swimming pool, table tennis, children's playground, relaxation area in the garden, friendly service and of course a great view of the wonderful Alps

but with the help of the reception staff we got all the information about the area and alternative suggestions for places and activities in order to take the maximum of experience in such a short time.

Kids play area is lovely and the swimming pool is lovely and was generally quiet when we were there.

The abundance of ski areas within a one hour drive is a sheer delight.

On the plus side, this resort is in a great location for hill walking in the area, and there's a bus stop right outside.

The pool and workout area were between the two houses.

The restaurant was suburb, in door and out door dining areas!

There was an area with tables, chairs and lounge chairs for sunning.

The resort is located in a beautiful area.

We paid the least price we could find in the area.

Our apartment was very spacious with 2 walk out balconies, 1 in the living area and the other in the bedroom.

The swimming pool area is fine and spotless.

The was no restaurant on-site this time, it having recently closed.

Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed as there is currently no tenant.

Also, the bar/cafeteria was closed during our stay which was a shame as there are no other such facilities in easy walking distance.

Unfortunately the restaurant and bar were closed which was disappointing,

but we were profoundly disappointed to find the restaurant closed. .

The restaurant and shop had unexpectedly closed the previous week,due to the proprietor's unexpected departure.

Sleeping - need to ensure windows fully closed or noise from railway and road can carry up hill to accomodation.

Only problem is that it is closed on a Tuesday.

The whole building needs updating, the bar is closed in the summer

Pool and leisure facilities were closed for renovation,  we had not been informed of this, which set a very poor note to start with.

Good selection of kitchen appliances, all kitchen equipment working properly.

Good parking facility, very nice view of the mountains from the front of the hotel, i did not get a room facing it,

Appartments are fully equipped and the staff is extremely friendly, The resort is well organised and clean.

There is a big and warm swimming pool as well.

We found the appartement clean and well equipped.

The apartment I got was super clean, well equipped and the staff (Verena) was super friendly!

The kitchen is well equipped and suited our needs.

Our room was spacious, properly equipped with a astonishing view to the mountains and the Schladming valley.

The apartment allocated to us was of studio type for two which is spacious, clean and equipped with a nice kitchen complete with cooking facilities and necessary utensils.

Also the indoor swimming pool of Alpine Club is very nice and relaxing with fine facilities.

Big rooms and beds, nice and clean bathroom and kitchen too, morden ski resorts , customized for winter sports,nice pool, facilities for the whole family, nice restorant, town is near and there is many nice restorants and shops in the town, we spent our very nice winter holliday! !

it took us longer to queue for our hire car than to drive to the resort.

If you don't hire a car, getting to the slopes is a little more time consuming as there is a lot of waiting around for buses.

but this bar didn't open until 8.30pm and that was only if there was enough guests waiting to use it.

Tennis , table tennis and pool was available with no charge except a deposit for the cues.

The room was clean and very large and extremely effective with stuff to cook and making food in the kitchen.

but honestly it was such a clean room that I didn't mind.

Rooms were VERY clean and for Europe the price was great.

Room was clean with just gorgeous view to Schladming valley.

So next time if i come , i would ask for a room with a view

fridge (I emphasize this since the sofa next to i can be used as additional bed), two TVs, iron and ironing board, drying rack, two balconies, well sized wardrobes, comfortable mattresses (not to soft, not to firm), additional pillows and duvets, a pool with a beautiful view on the Dachstein mountains.

Nice apartment with wonderful views and we were lucky to have sunny weather all week.

The air so fresh, views of the mountains spectacular, easy access to shops, bears restaurants and to a range of outdoor activities.

The views from the rooms facing the valley are fantastic.

The resort is situated with a beautiful view to the "Schladminger Tauern".

We stayed for 3 nights during summer 21 and had one of the best views that you can get and the location is just perfect at an elevation.

The surroundings are great and the mountains in the front of the hotel give you the chills and calm for the perfect holiday .
