The children are so well looked after with kids club and ski school meeting just outside.

It has so much to offer for everyone, a lot of activities for children, parents and grandparents.

Great place to relax with many possibilites to kid entertaining like trambulin, inside ebike trail and staff like that.

Super service, smile all over, elegant restaurant, appealing menu’s incl vegetarian, large rooms, wonderful outdoor lunch area facing south, ski rental, motorcross room for the 6 to 10 yrs, table tennis, computer play stations and very important a nice bar / relaxations area for the parents where kids of course were welcome.

We are family with a young child and have to say that this hotel is very good at making sure all is arranged for parents to enjoy their vacation!

I do want to highlight the girl who took care of our table in the restaurant called Timea.

Breakfast and dinner menu had their own kids only buffets with almost everything.

We came all the way from Dubai with our 3 kids and had a wonderful experience skiing on the beautiful slopes with our great and friendly instructors from the ski school there.

Hotel facilities are excellent and the new bikes room for the teenagers is a lot of fun.

The spa facilities include a large pool Sauna and steam, there is an adult only facility upstairs which is good as in the holidays the spa area can get swamped by children

Only drawback - you need to pay for tap water at the dinner- bit odd tbh

Price wise not too bad compared to French Alps.

My only concern was that as we booked a 2 bedroom, we had to pay a minimum 3 adult rate which made the overall cost quite expensive.

The hotel kit hire was a bit pricey (390 Euro for 2 for 6 days)

When checking the rates it may seem a little expensive

No wineselection; almost only austrian wines of mediocre quality, yet expensive.

Everybody is really sincerely friendly and warm, the food was amasing and the Skiraum so chic, that I have never seen before.

The food was amazing and the whole staff were very friendly and helpful!

Every dinner is superb, it's a special experience that you won't forget for a long time.

Lovely spacious rooms, ski-in ski-out location, excellent service and amazing quality food.

Ideal location next to the ski slope, pleasant rooms, extremely friendly staff.

The rooms are spacious, the pool facilities are excellent and the hotel is located directly in the slopes so you are literally on you skis right outside the hotel! Amazing!

There are separate rooms for ski equipment, from where we are directly at the ski lifts.

Hotel is refurbished and will be further enhenced in next year (new rooms)  Due to "Corona" times special attention is put on hygene.

Rooms and communal areas were cleaned from top to bottom on daily basis.

Everything was just perfect from the facilities of the ski directly in our from the hotel, the professional and friendly staff, the welcoming aost, beautiful modern and spacious rooms, and lady

One of the best features of this hotel for skiiing is its access to the slopes directly from a lift from teh basement boot room.

Very friendly staff, really good food, lovely Spa area and swimmingpool, clean and cosy rooms, in house ski teacher and the location on the mountain is superb!

We are staying in room 127, which is 1 floor lower then the skilockers (where u leave your ski things ) and same level with the pool, gym and sauna (with clothes on), pool for kids, 2 level under the other spa place( jacuzzi, sauna village,massage), 1 level up then the reception,bar and restaurant.

The sauna pool steam area is peaceful and not overcrowded.There is a lovely outdoor bar/retaurant for relaxing in the sunshine apres ski.

Rooms very nice with lots of cupboard space.

Ski room has nice touches like heated rack to put boots on overnight, plenty of space for poles/helmets/skis, etc.

There was plenty of storage space and a sofa to relax on.

Despite huge Covid challenges, the Krings sisters and their loyal staff managed to give us a superb week on the slopes.

The foods (breakfast and dinner) were delicious.

The on-site restaurant serves a wondrous breakfast buffet and offers meals at both lunch and dinner, and are happy to accommodate those with restricted diets.

There was a welcome buffet on the Saturday evening with fantastic options.

Max (a young, intelligent and very eager-to-please waitor, and Doris (a lovely, 40'ish woman who is always smiling and helpful) made breakfasts and dinner so pleasant.

During our week we had two gala dinners with a huge range of buffet food, plus we had one Tartare Rustica (fondue) in the a la carte restaurant which is included in the the dinner price if you stay for a week.

In February we had a great stay at the Sporthotel Royer - the day started with a great breakfast, a wide range of bread, sausages, muesli, cake and croissants, yoghurt, pancakes, different kinds of fruit and vegetable juices, sparkling wine and freshly made eggs and so on.

Excellent, great value for the money, lovely staff, very very friendly owner always joking, Saturday Gala buffet was amazing, big indoor/ outdoor pool practically in the hotel, afternoon tea and cakes very very nice, served dinner high quality, children had their own quite large buffet with unlimited soft drinks an unlimited ice cream !!!

The food at the hotel is superb- we had several gala dinners and the 2 buffet evenings were the best I’ve experienced- no cheap all you can eat style food here!

The price includes a huge breakfast buffet and 5 courses dinner, whit excellent food and a fitting wine suggestion.

Breakfast (made packed lunch),afternoon tea/cakes,drinks with dinner.

Definitely come back again to this hotel for the ‘healthy’ stay and ‘delicate’ culinary.

Breakfast and evening meals were very good indeed and a choice was given each day.

but very good with an excellent buffet in the morning for breakfast.

We were provided all meals as part of our package, and the food that was prepared was excellent was done buffet style and was excellent every time.

The restaurants are very good, serving generous breakfasts and traditional Austrian dishes for lunch and dinner.

The breakfast was also brilliant with lots of fresh food and fruit.

Starting the day with a great and delicious breakfast that contain chees, eggs, vegetables and a lot more.

My 11 yr old fussy eater usually had a mixture of the 5 courses and the children's buffet.

Both pools have plenty to keep youngsters entertained and there's also swimming lanes for guests wanting to swim laps.

Tired from skiing we relaxed in the spa area or went swimming in the big pool with slides for the children and tracks for swimmers.

So much to do within the hotel for non skiers- saunas, spa, tennis, shooting range and bowling and the pool is excellent.

There is a large indoor/outdoor pool, workout facility, and they even have bikes that they let you use.

There is plenty to do near by from walking and also the pool area is great you could spend all day there the water slide is great fun.

Don’t worry for the small kids, you have your own world , close to the swimming pools there’s a small playroom for young Kids also games machines that you can play with some euro coins through in.

Not just because of the cleanliness of all area's, the fabulous swimming pool with water slide, wellness centre with small gym, tennis courts, shooting range, or the spacious, comfortable bedroom, the gorgeous food, served by friendly staff, the location (within an easy walk to the main gondola) the various Apres Ski Bars that have you dancing in your ski boots straight from the mountain.

The pool area I thought was excellent and there was a small gym also.

Super facilities, excellent pool, gym and lots of activities, mainly aimed at the summer visitors.

The hotel is really amazing, full of activities for kids and families, amazing service, great pools.

There are lots of games and leisure facilities including a squash court, a fitness center, a first class swimming pool as well as table tennis etc.

The "haunted restaurant" area, as we nicknamed it, with its pool table, ecclesiastical paintings and chapel was quite wonderful and the three indoor tennis courts were most useful on the wet days that we couldn't ski.

It is just as big as the pictures with a lengths pool, leisure pool connecting, and flume.

And the pool is large,there is a slide,so bring your children too!

You can drive around with the e-car or the segway, you can play bowling or shoot on airguns, play tennis, basketball, skwash, run or cycle on the jim, swim on the indor and outdor pools and slide on the 2 waterslids.

Pool - This was the topping on the ice-cream.

Dinner each evening was delicious - 4 courses with a good choice.

Big well furnished rooms and lots of activities.

From their efficient and friendly booking (Daniela), through check in, you'll find the rooms cozy, large, well equipt and well cleaned.

The hotel has a large bar area, plenty of seating, two restaurants, spa etc and has very large, comfortable rooms.

Great boot room with heated boot racks etc.

The room was clean and there was plenty to do.

If you are a light sleeper I would recommend a room at back of hotel as the snow ploughs had us awake from around 3 am each morning.

The rooms are good, well equipped and kept spotlessly clean.

The rooms are comfortable and quite modern.

We had room 115 which is great if you are looking for a room for 3-4 people.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our room and also the comfort afforded by the beds.

Thirdly the room was large (room 307), important with all our winter gear, my daughter had a double sofa bed.

Lovely spacious rooms 240/241 - unusual for a ski holiday.

Lots to do in the hotel after skiing including pool and table tennis.

Schladming hosts World Championships in alpine skiing periodically, so you can be sure that every level of ski is accommodated - while basically 'red' level.

Then we took the skiing bus and started our great day.

Huge Spar supermarket 2 mins walk and a bus next to gondola to take you to Roorhmos for more skiing.

We had a pretty big balcony with a beautiful view on to the mountains, a TV and our room also had a small hall area to hang up your coats and leave your boots after a long day of skiing!

As soon as we got back from skiing our kids would rush to the pool.

We stayed here on business and on for an extra couple of days skiing.

This will be our venue for skiing in this fabulous resort next year.No more timeshare for us!

It has a few down points as all Austrian skiing hotels do

First time to Austria with the hope of Christmas markets, good skiing and crisp cold, snowy days .

Otherwise, it is a very good choice for a comfortable base for excellent skiing experience.

Schladming itself offers plenty of skiing

Then there is the five course meal every evening which, surprisingly, is needed after a day out skiing.

We had a brilliant skiing week and were really lucky with the weather - sunny and clear.

I'm sure we'll return in the future, maybe for skiing.

although in Austria, hotels are not completely smoke free and the smoky smell from the smoking room was apparent in the bar area.

Downside: Weird smell in our bathroom (I'm guessing from the pipes) - the "double bed" was 2 adjacent single beds.

Austria has a 'hit and miss' system of non smoking rules.

- Room is airy, nice bathroom, beds were a bit too soft, wide balcony with nice view. - Wellness area: the massage service was a disaster, the masseur smelled (sic!)

If the lifts are shut then there are excellent facilities, with swimming, tennis, sauna, squash gym…

But, this hotel is just chuck full of activities: old bowling, squash, gym, table tennis, indoor & outdoor tennis, tanning, and truly lovely sauna & steam area. They have a huge Kommunal swimming hall (there will be kids having fun!)

Like the name it self, the hotel has sport facilities like tennis court, table tennis, volleyball, futsal area, gym, squash, billiard, dart, bowling, golf, swimming pool with long slide, and separate pools for kids and adults.

Very confortable and clean rooms, a lot of thinks to do indoor ( tennis, pool - big pool!- , bowling, gym, squash, billiards, dart.

Large hotel with nice atmosphere,very warm and clean with modern rooms and lot of sport facilities (squash, tennis, billiard table. and big indoor pool with a big slide inside - specially nice for kids!)

It is quite big with many sport facilities (squash, tennis, indoor pool, etc.).

The hotel has the most amazing collection of sports facilities from Swimming Pool, Tennis and Squash courts through to Bowling Alley, Billiards, Table Tennis and even a rifle range.

Georg, waiter, was excellent and very attentive.

The staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating.

The staff are outstanding - really helpful and friendly and they all speak very good English.

Hotel is really welcoming and the staff are super friendly.

Every member of staff we encountered provided a first class service and I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Schladming.

The food is good to very good, and extremely accommodating if you wish to eat something off menu.

The staff is very attentive and friendly.

Staff were all very helpful and pleasant.

The hotel provided transportation to and from the train station, and the staff was always available and very helpful.

On the down side the pool is basically the town baths, which is not quite what you would expect from a four star hotel.

Restaurant won't aspire for michelin star

although the hotel claims for 4-star superior status, it is not worth paying 4plus price for around 3 star quality (tired, very crowded hotel).

The indoor tennis courts are great and the racquets and balls provided of a good quality.

As well as the tennis courts, there is also a swimming pool which is definitely worth going to.

The tennis courts are excellent (rackets and balls provided free by the hotel).

Lots to do & occupy your time, from swimming, bowling, pool, tennis.
