A small suggestion would be to have another bike mechanic on hand to help out during the bike pick up and drop off as the process seemed to take longer than it needed to with the poor guy working all alone.

though some of the road surfaces are poor this is not a major factor.

However, those in the lower levels are subject to traffic and poor pavement close to Riccione.

I have absolutely nothing poor to say about the experience.

though it takes 5-10 km to really get out of town on each ride, and some of the roads are busy and in poor condition.

I believe that one should always take responsibility for oneself or suffer the consequences for poor choices.

Room very small, no storage space,  breakfast buffet ~ cold scrambled eggs daily, bikers lunch ~ insufficient amount of food, poor quality wines served at dinner, table service poor ~ no silverware ~ short supply of coffee ~ cream.

Lots of hills, poor roads in town and busy, few bike paths, and NO sag wagon.

After staying at so many small rooms all over Europe we found a gem on the beach with a bigger room and bath.

The only very minor point to consider are the rooms are quite small, with limited storage,

The room we were given was a little small, so we upgraded to a suite, which was super.

to land in your room which is small, old-fashioned, and not very luxurious.

Marina and her staff  continue to innovate and strive to give their guests the best possible holiday.

Have to say a special word about Marina the owner who is the most caring, attentive, always around owner.

Marina (hotel owner) has created an amazing culture that attracts the most client service oriented staff that I have ever had the pleasure of encountering.

I can confirm that everything claimed on their website is true.

Although we'd been hoping for longer rides having seen the range of daily tours on the website and were slightly disappointed to find only 2 available most of the week in the heat (30-35+°C throughout) we would have struggled with significantly longer rides.

She found the Hotel Belvedere and I noted the high ratings on the social media websites.

Everything that you read and see on their website is true.

For us it is back to work and school and checking out the Belvedere website when we need a look at our favourite and only summer destination.

it suffices to say that everything they claim on their website is true.

Our trip to the Belvedere Hotel in Rimini, Italy was all the website said it would be and more!

A wonderful hotel, great food, a fantastic cycling program (5 performance levels; with friendly guides and first-rate bike rentals), the beautiful surrounding landscape, and lots of friendly cycling company.

The groups for the most part were very friendly and we often joined them for meals after the first couple of days.

We enjoyed a great week's cycling, with friendly and knowledgeable guides, and when our stay unfortunately ended with a night in the local hospital, the staff at Hotel Dory couldn't have been kinder or more helpful.

We also lost the internet after 1 week and never got it back (I think they are still calling the engineer :-) ).

When I needed to call the reception, it never answered.

While the Dory is far from rustic, we call our wonderful week there last fall "bike camp" because we felt as

Things didn't start out well when we had a phone call the day before saying that we would have a 3.5 hour wait at the airport before we could be picked up - not happy we phoned them back  and they arranged for some-one to come and pick us up at the correct time - things were looking better!

When we arrived it was raining and they gave us the key of the apartment, an incomprehensible map and poor instructions on where the exact door of the garage was.

We had dinner in the restaurant which is a kind of buffet affair, you needed to pick your moment to get a good main course and, if you arrived late, lots of the courses did not get replaced / refreshed, one particular night which apparently was the last night of the Italian holidays was hell on earth, the dining room appeared to be some kind of warzone with guests fighting over food every time the poor waiters bought more from the kitchen.

The one concern, and the only reason for four rather than five stars, is the very poor quality of the roads in the area.

There is an area for children, a bit too small and poor.

Our bike guide, Paolo was knowledgeable and fun to be with.

I was so impressed with the loyalty of the staff that have been serving in the  hotel since the first time we came 10 years ago.

The Dory staff went out of their way to accommodate any requests we had.

The room had everything we could ask for and breakfast was abundant and well catered for, with cheerful and attentive service throughout the stay.

We especially enjoyed Gianni's brief explanations of different sites' histories.

Everything, from the cycling side (special mentions to Andrea, Natalia, Gianni, Alessandro and the AMAZING Drelli) to reception (Denise, Nadia, Alessandra and others) to the catering staff (Giacomo, Pavel, Cosimo, Ilaria, chef Solideo and the rest of the team) went perfectly.

Wonderful staff, food was inc, in our package and was plentiful and everything tasted really nice, hoping we're going again next year, 
my one negative point, i was in a twin room and the 2 beds we're tiny so beware of this, great location beautiful area close to Rimini and for those cycling the hills are just a short warm up away.

What a wonderful experience,  the hotel dory is clean,modern and staffed by an excellent team of professionals for whom nothing is too much trouble, cannot reccomend it highly enough.

Stephano the owner is kind, really cares and a wonderful host.

The staff are really friendly and the facilities are really clean .

I’m not sure would imagine rooms at from of hotel may be a little noisy.

but little bit noisy at the night so thats why sleeping I´m rating for average.

The only criticism was that our room 110 was very noisy as it is above the breakfast room.

Had a room on level one, the bed was comfortable, room a bit noisy and no wifi at all.

All this entertament activated from 9 to 01 pm so it may be loud and noisy

The elevator was pretty much constant occupied during the first halt of the day.

Despite the room being on a high floor, it was not high enough and for two nights we were unable to sleep because of the constant moving of furniture in the rooms above which were occupied by members of a hen party.

My hunch is that, in the height of the season, Rimini would be everything that negative comments suggest: beach packed like a vast sardine can; impossible to escape loud sound systems that pump out 20 ads for every song they play.

When we arrived, we were slightly disappointed to hear by the guy of the reception, that the swimming pool only can be used/accessed when we bought an entrance ticket for the sauna facilities.

Furthermore, the pool had strong massaging jets for back and shoulders.

Rooms are very noisy on evenings and nights, they also lack basic things such as close/wardrobet place for luggage, ironing board etc.

Only downside:  duplex two-bedroom apartment on 5th floor corner had ceilings too low for 6ft husband who kept banging his head.

The gardenia suites were large, modern, air conditioned, well sound proofed and generally well equipped, the only downside being the low ceilings in some of the rooms (part of our group moved to an apartment on the ground floor after hitting their heads one too many times!).

Also, you get the false impression of the pool from the pictures on the web-site - in fact, it is a quite small pool hardly isolated from the busy traffic road.

but we did not find noise to be a problem.

but probably not during high season, then I can’t imagine how noisy it could become.

The two one-way streets that our hotel sat between were really noisy and congested none of which we expect in a "beachfront" hotel.

Thank you to all of you who took care of us also keeping our rooms so nice and helping us to feel at ease in the spa.

We booked our hotel room on arrival due to having to stay 4 extra nights in Italy after flights cancelled, the staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Shout out to Inna and Alessandro for looking after us so well in the restaurant.

Everything was lovely, Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice and fresh Croissant every morning, the staff was very kind and professional, the Room was nice with a balcony and was cleaned every day, The hotel was few minutes walking from the beach so very convenient if you don’t have a Car.

The only downside is that when the hotel was built the lifts installed were so narrow that a wheelchair will not pass through the doors so my dear cousin who is in a wheelchair has to listen enviously to our praise for the hotel without being able to stay at the Augustus himself.

Sadly, this hotel couldn't accommodate my disabled cousin due to the narrowness of the lift doors ruling out wheelchair use

Only thing to be improved is the sound of elevator or water pump of the swimming pool that could be clearly heard in the room (5th floor) late in the evening and early in the morning.

It was a little noisy because our room was right in front of the elevators
