The friendliest staff (everyone one of them), scrumptious food, incredible bike tour guides (especially getting us safely out of Riccione  through all the roundabouts), wonderful spa after our cycles, fun activities and the hotel itself is nice.

Exceptional  service, great rides, laughter, delicious meals and a host of so many new friends at the Belvedere Hotel.

My husband and I adore the comforts and contemporary luxury of the rooms, together with the 5* gourmet variety of the meals buffet.

The food was AMAZING, plentiful and varied, catering for those with food allergies too.

from the cycling tours and their guides, to the delicious food, and especially the attentive care of the staff.

Post-ride lunch buffet by the pool and evening dinners are sublime.

From the  rooms ( chic Italian decor, super comfy bed , spotless ), the outstanding food, (the Chef is absolutely  the best, I  continue listening  fellow guests just ravishing about the food quality, how delicious, fresh  and so many healthy options, not to mention Marina's paella, something that you need to experience ), the fresh flowers everywhere, the social events are the best, you will never see that amount of people being so happy and having the best time in one single place.

The food is beautifully presented, healthy, and delicious; just what you need to power up your cycling efforts.

From the breakfast buffets to the dinners that start with tapas by the pool and wine with the meal.

The hotel is well maintained, everything is clearly spotless, the food quality is amazing, starting with full breakfast, continue with lunch after long riding and climbing (we biked an average of 55 miles and 3,200 feet per day,

The food all week and special events are off the charts delicious and fun.

though most meals are buffet style, rest assured that you will be amazed at the variety and quality.

The food back at the hotel was a culinary delight with the kitchen team putting out so many lovely salads, pastas, main courses and desserts every lunch and dinner as well as delicious breakfasts to fuel us up for our rides.

Energy drink, bananas and sandwiches for your ride  provided every morning after a hearty buffet breakfast.

Food is over the top delicious and plentiful.

A small suggestion would be to have another bike mechanic on hand to help out during the bike pick up and drop off as the process seemed to take longer than it needed to with the poor guy working all alone.

though some of the road surfaces are poor this is not a major factor.

However, those in the lower levels are subject to traffic and poor pavement close to Riccione.

I have absolutely nothing poor to say about the experience.

though it takes 5-10 km to really get out of town on each ride, and some of the roads are busy and in poor condition.

I believe that one should always take responsibility for oneself or suffer the consequences for poor choices.

Room very small, no storage space,  breakfast buffet ~ cold scrambled eggs daily, bikers lunch ~ insufficient amount of food, poor quality wines served at dinner, table service poor ~ no silverware ~ short supply of coffee ~ cream.

Lots of hills, poor roads in town and busy, few bike paths, and NO sag wagon.

After staying at so many small rooms all over Europe we found a gem on the beach with a bigger room and bath.

The only very minor point to consider are the rooms are quite small, with limited storage,

The room we were given was a little small, so we upgraded to a suite, which was super.

to land in your room which is small, old-fashioned, and not very luxurious.

I can confirm that everything claimed on their website is true.

Although we'd been hoping for longer rides having seen the range of daily tours on the website and were slightly disappointed to find only 2 available most of the week in the heat (30-35+°C throughout) we would have struggled with significantly longer rides.

She found the Hotel Belvedere and I noted the high ratings on the social media websites.

Everything that you read and see on their website is true.

For us it is back to work and school and checking out the Belvedere website when we need a look at our favourite and only summer destination.

Decent sized room with balcony, very clean, yummy breakfast and extraordinarily friendly and helpful hosts.

You feel like at home, every person of the stuff is ready to help you, everyday cleaning, wonderful breakfasts (hello, Fabio, I would sell my soul for your torta alla ricotta😄), a shiny room with the balcony with loads of space for clothes and things.

The rooms are simple, with good aircon and a balcony, clean and have enough space for a simple stay where you mostly want to be outside.

There is also balcony you can sit at, to have Italian style breakfast :)

The hotel also offers you help with booking trips, reserving beach seats/umbrellas and advises you where to go.

at reception we were greeted by gabrielle who was the perfect host who managed to answer most of our tourist questions before we had even asked .our double dog friendly room was clean to perfection.. with a small balcony to take the evening air.car parking canbe a problem in large cities

The beds were quite comfy, the room quite silent with not noticeable noises coming from the balcony outside or from the nearest room (our was room number 4 at the 2nd floor).

Hotel wasn´t new, and room was small with small balcony, BUT everything was so clean!

This is a family room with 2 balconies, quite large in comparison with other similar 3* hotels.

Rooms are clean, adequate size and we had a little balcony to sit and enjoy the evenings with a glass of wine.

The best hotel I stayed on my way from Rome,Siena,Florence to Venice.It is close to the beach,rooms are nice and clean,with balconies which invite to sit there and look at the stars.

Spacious bathroom (rare situation for Europe), balcony with table, chair and ashtray (good news for smokers ;))) Furniture in the room is placed very conveniently, so there would be enough space for you and your things (with the remaining free space).

My cousins and I reserved 2 rooms, each with balconies and plenty of space- closets, drawers, desks, shoe stands, etc.

Our room was tidy, convenient and very well thought out (enough place for clothes, refrigerator, air conditioner directing cold air in the opposite direction from the beds, lovely balcony, etc).

Nice and clean rooms, great breakfast with hot and cold dishes, we enjoyed the balcony for lunches. WiFi.

The breakfast is great and there’s plenty to choose from with the pastries/cakes changing daily.

Close to the beach, in the vecinity of many restaurants,  this 3 star hotel offers about everything you need for a beach vacation : clean, nice rooms, excellent breakfast,  beach towels,  very helpful staff.

First of all, excellent breakfast - our kids (very picky eaters) always had something to choose from (oh, pana cotta..), different meals every day.

Breakfast was very nice with lots of savoury and sweet options.

The breakfast was also amazing with a wonderful wide variety of sweet and savoury food and drink!

The breakfasts are great - many options with fresh fruits, vegetables, sweets, many juices, milk, cereals, choice of breads and even chocolate fondue fountain!

The staff is exceptionaly friendly and even a 5 star hotel would not be embarased to serve such a nice breakfast.

but good ones, like free botteled water in the fridge, the extreme cleaniness and the breakfast buffet. WOW!

At the breakfast there was unique serving for glutene and vegan option.

For the price this is a great hotel, it’s very clean, has an amazing choice for breakfast.

Rooms are clean, they provide extra towels for the beach and the breakfast room offers an excellent selection of hot and cold foods (and coffee from bean-to-cup machines).

The breakfast is big and you can eat healthy.

They helped me in many situations giving good informations about places where it is done COVID tests with no appointent, printed a lot of documents and even move their own car to mace place for my own.

The staff were absolute amazing, always friendly and helpful and happy to help us with any information on things to do and places to eat!

Ines is a lovely lady and hostess, and the wealth of information she possesses is useful, well informed and freely given with a smile.

Despite the ridiculously small amount charged I wasn't treated any less; Ines welcomed me and provided me with very helpful information (the best beach, the easiest transportation etc) that turned out spot on!

Ines provided us with all the information we needed, what a great lady.

The girl at reception was very helpful and moved me to a normal sized room in the other hotel across the road.

Hotel offers 7e parking about 3km away which we feared a bit, being a family with 3 small kids and lots of luggage.

We came as family of 4 with 2 teenagers - the room was great, as it had 2 beds in separate mini-room with connecting doors, which offered my kids degree of freedom.

We spent 9 days/8 nights at the Stresa, with our 2 children (a girl of 7 months and a boy of 3 years old respectively).

My daughter she wants to stay for a long time.

Everyone knew our names and they gave and gave and gave from the big spotless rooms, to incredible selections for breakfast, to an Aperitivo for everyone with lots of guests, including kids the night before we left.

Ines also played with our child and help us with every situation which we have and ask to any of our questions.

You cand also enjoy different kids of milk such as: rice milk, almond milk, soy milk and cream milk.

The hotel is walking distance to the beach so my husband and I just loaded the kids into the stroller and walked to the beach and everywhere for dinner.

When our daughter requested the apple twists they had one morning

The kids were over the top thrilled as were the parents!

Our kids loved the attention they were given.

We also loved Ines ,the owner who is fantastic with children and so cheerfull everybody feels happy just looking at her.She is also very helpfull.

We will definitely return as the kids love Rimini, too.

My wife, four children, and I stayed at Hotel Stresa for two nights in August.

We stayed here for six nights with the family (2 adults and 3 children).

The hotel is certainly not a luxury hotel

The rooms are quaint and practical, and luxury seekers would better to search else where.

Let me first start by saying that this is not a luxury hotel.

As someone said in another review, This is not a luxury hotel,

If you are looking for luxury then keep looking,

They call you on your names, they learn them even if they are difficult.

It was such a relief not to have to deal with the language barrier and not having a phone to make all the calls needed.

I booked a single room without really reading the description.

For the single traveler:
The most economical rooms are really small.

There is really not a single problem to report.

I couldn't bring myself to give a 5/5 rating, because it is not somewhere that I will long to go back to, and I suspect that noise could be an issue, with single glazing and hard floors I could hear people moving about,

On the negative the room is on the small side and there isn't a pool.

They upgraded our room bc I booked too small of a room.

but the quadruple room we had would be a bit small for a longer stay.

The beach is just down the street so you can swim after your ride or in the Hotel pool.

The hotel is minutes from the beach, close to all the restaurants and shops, and equipped to entertain all ages.

We witnessed the beach a mess for one day and then the miraculous clean up.

Wonderful holiday, great food, fantastic scenery, steps to the beach.

It’s situated in a tree-lined neighborhood close to the beach - for those interested in that sort of thing.

The hotel is 100 mtr from the beach in a very calm street and just around the corner of the shopping street and restaurants.

Friendly family run hotel with excellent location close to beach, harbor and Riccione center.

Located 2 blocks from the beach, 1 block from a street full of shops and food outlets the location is Excellent too.

I had a massage and most guest used the pool/ sauna and nearby beach very popular for safe swimming.

Friendly, big rooms, cycling washing service everyday, bike room, mechanic, guided rides everyday except Saturday and Tuesday, close to beach and restaurants, great roads to cycle.

Riccione is nice with a retro Miami Beach vibe and is a great and festive town.

The hotel itself is brilliant - well located close to the seafront and to the bars and cafes.

Ideally located very close to the beach and main shopping/restaurant area a well as only 10 walking minutes from the train station.

The hotel is a short hundred meters or so to the sandy beach.

The food was Excellent and the best was, 1 block form the beach.

The three buffets per day were well presented and the food was varied and tasty.

Dinners were at buffet and we had mixed feelings; some dinners were really good and we were all satisfied, some others much less.

The rooms were lovely,  food delicious and the the activities and cycling treks were stunning.

The room had everything we could ask for and breakfast was abundant and well catered for, with cheerful and attentive service throughout the stay.

my one negative point, i was in a twin room and the 2 beds we're tiny so beware of this, great location beautiful area close to Rimini and for those cycling the hills are just a short warm up away.

Hotel Dory has been owned and run by the same family for three generations, and they have figured out how to make a stay at their hotel an outstanding experience.

The family room was sold to us as a Junior Suite,

We went there on a cycling trip with family and friends.

While I didn’t think it was possible to have more admiration, affection, or respect for Owner Stefano and the entire Dory family, my second stay during a catastrophic weather event proved me wrong.

The owner is very attentive and often present, and the staff is very friendly and feels like family even after only a week.

It is a family run hotel, with long-time staff, and it shows.

The staff were outstanding and attentive and treated everyone like family.

With 5 different cycling levels to choose from and kids programs every day this is the perfect place for cycling parents to bring their families.

What a week came here with some friends to cycle and was not disappointed the guided rides In various groups of speed and distance means you will find the group that  best suites you on each day of riding the whole feel of the hotel is your part of a family and you will meet fellow cyclists from all over Europe.

Special Experiences - The bike rides to wine tasting and to the owner's family farm were definite highlights.

Things didn't start out well when we had a phone call the day before saying that we would have a 3.5 hour wait at the airport before we could be picked up - not happy we phoned them back  and they arranged for some-one to come and pick us up at the correct time - things were looking better!

When we arrived it was raining and they gave us the key of the apartment, an incomprehensible map and poor instructions on where the exact door of the garage was.

We had dinner in the restaurant which is a kind of buffet affair, you needed to pick your moment to get a good main course and, if you arrived late, lots of the courses did not get replaced / refreshed, one particular night which apparently was the last night of the Italian holidays was hell on earth, the dining room appeared to be some kind of warzone with guests fighting over food every time the poor waiters bought more from the kitchen.

The one concern, and the only reason for four rather than five stars, is the very poor quality of the roads in the area.
