The Washrooms are in very bad and dirty shape and also there is no water pressure in the Showers.

also I feel that there electricity is lot on solar energy so we would switch on the bathroom water for 10 minutes which is like wasting water only then it would get hot. .

The water pressure in the shower was very low & difficult for my husband to have a decent wash.

The breakfast menu was also decent and we enjoyed every meal.

The dinner and breakfast was awesome with a mix of fruits, local and organic mouth watering preparations.

The buffet they provided in the breakfast is of topmost quality.

You have everything in the hotel Yoga & Meditation (Aparna) amazing mentor, staff always ready to help you, view from balcony mesmerizing, food yummy and specially when you have small kiddo with you don't worry hotel staff will make you feel at home only, you ask for it and you will get it on your table, spa (Rupa & other male staff) very nicely done.

The food is delicious and the staff is courteous.. we needed jain food so was prepared according to our preference.

There were lot of options in breakfast and most of them were served hot.

Buffet option in the morning is very limited and what ever is available gets out of stock which is not at acceptable.

There were hardly any options in the buffet breakfast .For the first time we only had bread

Only suggestion will be to have relook at their breakfast option and provide more / better buffet, in terms of options.

Hot water, a small heater and a clean room was all that was needed.

Room is clean, dont think i wish they look into is the vent in the bathroom is common for all rooms i feel.

For instance, I would have liked remote access for the air conditioner, because it becomes very chilly at night and then I would have to get up in sleep to turn it off.

but definitely want to support the recently opened Samsara that blew my mind!

It was disgusting to find out such a callous action from hotel.

However, the plus point is you are Rs 20 away from all the action of Lakhsman /Ram Jhoolas etc by their local tuk tuk or Vikram.

If possible, a glass seperating the shower area from the handwashing sink would be a very good add-on as opposed to the curtain currently installed.

Had an extremely unpleasant and unacceptable experience with day 2 breakfast where Sambhar, Chutney were spoiled and Chole, aalu sabzi and bread was  at least 1-2 days old (it was also a repeat from day 1).

No indian bread below INR 95 on the menu,  which surprised us.

If I wanted two bottles of water at 2:30 also, Pawan Negi from housekeeping would come in a jiffy.

Just 2- 500 ml water bottles to drink and make tea which are replaced after 4 reminders and 30 minutes.

but the housekeeping provided only 2x 500 ml bottles of water per day.

The food was delicious, loved every bit of it.

My suggestion to the hotel management is to please Introduce some more oriental dishes like Thai curry pad Thai noodles and Burmese Khao suay.

The front desk staff was very supportive and helpful.. Ms.sonia was very good and corporative.. well the hotel was very nice and clean..food was very delicious and healthy.. will recommend others as well and would likely to come back and visit soon.

We received  guidance and help from the front desk,  to get booking for river rafting, from INBOUND ADVENTURE TOURS,  which was the high point in our trip.

It’s a 3 star property with basic rooms.

However, they took some time in allotment of rooms to us.

Room cleaning is great nice cheerful atmosphere created by the team.

Kalam went out of his way to look after me, and took me out for a morning on his bike to visit the Beatles ashram.

There is a small dining area where you can have breakfast or other food.

The hotel is all super clean, the rooms beautiful, very good taste, the owner and the kids are really nice and caring people, food is delicious.

I ate breakfast and dinner in the cafe and enjoyed the food.

The cafe downstairs has a good selection of food for breakfast (a range of Indian and Western) and staff are attentive.

The food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious.. great healthy food.. huge plates of fresh fruit delicious fresh coffee.. just perfect .. even with a days notice they would go and buy your choices of vegetables from the market.. it was so kind and helpful.. nothing was too small a request.. even helping me when the ATMs refused to give me any money.

Lovely place, lovely people, delicious food.

Nevertheless, meals were fantastic with continental and Indian choices.

The food was great with a good combination of authentic Indian and continental dishes, serving breakfast lunch and dinner.

Here you will feel at home, everything is clean until perfection, food is delicious and everybody is heartlhy smiling and helpful.

I should also add (no small matter), the food in the café is very delicious!

The Seventh heaven restaurant is excellent offering a large range of breakfast choices and the dinners are among the best we had in India offering authentic indian food

but tucked away from the road noise, located next to an ayurvedic spa and a great healthy restaurant.

but that’s me..
Ok so the power was a bit intermittent.. so I ended up turning off the air con..  as with power going on and off the aircon beeped loudly each time it started and would wake me up in the night.

Both these factors seemed to contribute to a strain on the electricity supply, and so for most of our stay at the Seventh Heaven, the power kept going off and on; day and night.

Oh and cups to go with the electric kettle in the room seemed to be missing when we arrived.

but with the power going out intermittently, I found myself reading & writing more than sending emails.

(2) The only heating (for cold December nights) is by a small electric heater that can at most warm your feet if you sit next to it, and that cannot even be plugged in the freezing bathroom.

The power cuts and Wifi cuts were annoying

Noticed some electrical issues in my look thru the place.

When you see the entrance of the Ajatananda Ashram, turn left and then at once to the right (the alley is dark and dirty

Adjacent to the the entrance is a vacant block of land which is turning into a rubbish dump.

As well as this, the guests who had checked out just couldn't seem to stay away and we're always back for meals or long chats in the entrance lounge.

My Lowlights:  Only staying 15 nights,  waiting until my last night to try their stuffed tomatoes - don't make this mistake!

I think the best part of visiting this place is meeting people running it - they are warm and genuine, and they offer honest and open advice.

We would definitely recommend this place and would like to visit again soon for a longer period!

Next time when we visit Rishikesh again, we will definitely stay here again! ❤️

As before I have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful boutique hotel as a place to base yourself while in Rishikesh except that it may make it harder for me to secure a room next time I visit.

Charlotte and Kamal are so welcoming and helped us with our transfers from Delhi and went out of their way to help with recommendations of places to eat, yoga classes to do - and everything we should see during our brief visit.

I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Rishikesh.

I feel extremely lucky to have found the Seventh Heaven, and when I next visit Laxman Jhula I wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else.

The food is the best in Rishikesh with Kailash and Mamta looking after us.The rooms are cool and peaceful only 10 mins from the Ganga, Charlotte or Kalam can recommend some great places to visit as well as Yoga studios.
