 - Had a beach view room ,saw the sun riset everyday.

 - The location was perfect overlooking the Copababana beach.

 - but there were so many annoyances that we would not return: - room wasn't particularly well-cleaned and towels were stained.
 - If you wanted you could get towels and a chair on Copacabana Beach provided by the hotel.
 - The worst was having to demand improvements, cleaning, changing bed linen and towels to have the minimum of hygiene during my stay.
 - I called the front desk for an extra towel one morning and was told “only one towel per guest” -_-. .
 - The areas for improvrement are that there were no robes of slippers in the rooms so you had to get towels at the reception for the beach of pool.

 - This hotel is in a good position for copacabana beach and sugarloaf mountain

 - In conclusion, we were slightly disappointed with this hotel due to room issues (zero sound isolation, lack of cleanliness, and the view), communication issues as well as the hotel's slightly disappointing approach to New Year's Eve festivities.
 - Only drawback would be your clothes do take a bit to dry due to the climate
 - We could not gain entrance to our allocated room due to faulty entry system so had to wait half an hour while reception tried to resolve the matter.
 - I had a problem noise that was made due to repairs to another room beside or above mine and I told Rui about it and he upgraded me to another room with no problem!

 - Also asked by the phone which size were the bed.
 - One strange thing though, no phone signal in the restaurant.
 - But the staff here are the rudest I've came across, spent big money here and there not helpful at all, they no little English and when I checked out I asked to make a phone call and was told it wasn't possible, staff need a course in hospitality.

 - I was in Rio for business for 1 night, reception staff were very friendly and gave me an up graded room with a sea view and balcony, I arrived at 10am in the morning and was able to check into my room at this time at no extra cost.
 - Rooms are big and comfortable, mine had a window with a beach view.
 - The views are Awesome right on the beach !
 - The view from the balcony was absolutely incredible.
 - The hotel is right on the beach, perfect spot, in particular if you can take one of their spectacular ocean view rooms. They are the best value for the money you can get.

 - but some guests might find it annoying.
 - Since they are beach hotel, they should have provided something the guests can hang and dry their wet cloth.
 - I find it unacceptable for a hotel to place guests in rooms next to ongoing construction.
 -
 - Ours was not changed after the previous guest had left,

 - All the mats at our table were filthy.
 - If you are not particular about strong unpleasant carpet smell then this hotel is ok. Front office staff were just ok, breakfast was below average.
 - For the amount i paid for the room, i would expect them to at least return an email, and clean the MOLD off the shower walls.
 - Paid a fortune to stay in this hotel only to be met by a room that smelled of urine.
 - The front desk looks shabby despite the high ceilings in the dining area, the rest of the hotel smells a bit old.
