The choice of omelette iwas given if you do not want the breakfast of the day which was nice because we did use the substituion one time.

When I reviewed my statement upon checking out, I saw the extra night was billed at $451.

and we couldn't charge our devices very well.

It would have been nice to have a printed card with the available options.

Do yourself a favor and book a room with the view of the rocks, it's definitely worth the little extra $ they charge for it.

They informed me that if they were able to resell the week they wouldn't charge me the full stay and they would let me know.

For the amount of money are are charging.

This morning we go to check out, and I notice on the receipt that we had been charged more than the 20% we were told.

Fast wi-fi with no login at no extra charge.

but she offered to take my card and then bring it back.

My credit card number was given to a third party WITHOUT MY PERMISSION and we were subsequently charged an extortionate amount for a jeep ride, significantly above what we were promised -- and clearly the hotel owners were in for a nice cut as I was constantly passed back to them when I questioned both that my credit card had been charged without my permission and that the amount was incorrect.

Had some issues with check out and billing.

We were greeted with an envelope obviously hoping to get a tip rather than the usual card (at this price, pay your staff, don't expect me to).

Also, we were not told about parking costs and wasted a lot of time turning around to find a bank since the park did not take credit or debit cards.

The hosts are warm and welcoming and the grounds are lush with interesting, tasteful art sprinkled all around.

The grounds themselves were like an oasis, with a running creek, firepit (for those cold nights) and many art works.

but the rooms, the grounds, and the view are worth it.

The beds were very nice, and the grounds are impeccable and beautiful.

We were disappointed in the view from the balcony that had a rather large tree blocking a good bit of the magnificent red rock views.

This is truly a slice of heaven with views of the red rocks that will take your breath away.

It was a wide trail with some shade and beautiful surroundings of coffee pot rock and follow it around the Thunder Mountain loop for a hood 4 mile hike or so.

It is well worth the cost and is in the perfect location to enjoy the beautiful red rock formations and access other points of interest.

Stayed 3 nights in this very secluded and quiet, clean resort with a perfect view of Sedona mountains.

The terrace outside the dining area has a gorgeous view of the mountains (Chateau is in an elevated location to give unabated views of the mountains).

That will be all you need for a day or a week of pure relaxation and enjoyment while you bask in the majestic views of Sedona.

The fact that we could walk to the MK in 5 minutes, walking through security with only a few people rather than the usual crowds, is priceless.

I don't believe for one minute that the new policies and restrictions are to limit crowds.

I loved that we could do premium character dining, see amazing views of Magic Kingdom fireworks, eat a fancy dinner, have the kids run around the arcade, window shop with low crowds at their hotel stores, purchase tons of tasty treats normally found on Main Street, and get front of the park access in a short 10 minute walk with a private security screening area which hardly had any line the whole time we were there, ALL IN ONE RESORT!

However, it is evident the crowds are still coming so adjustments regarding concerns will be nominal.

For days where MK park crowds are expected to be epic, the value may be there,

We had a day where we didn't do a park, so we took the monorail to MK and then the boat to The Grand Floridian to check it out and then the monorail back to The Contemporary, it was a nice experience with no crowds at all.

The location of this hotel is superb  - the Magic Kingdom is our favorite park so we loved the ease of walking to and from the park instead of dealing with the crowds.

Best part if that you go through your own security check along the walkway avoiding the massive crowds arriving from the bus area.

Having the balcony at the end of the hall to watch fireworks was so nice especially not having to deal with the huge crowds during the mass exodus.

The food offerings were equally as excellent as WL and we really enjoyed not having to go through the hassle of a sit down restaurant or even QS when we were EXHAUSTED from the heat and crowds at the parks.

1st Place-The Contemporary Tower Club-The amenities in the room are just amazing.

We looked for a boat or a bus to take back, since the monorail was clogged with crowds and STROLLERS,

They play the music at the hotel so you really get an amazing experience, minus the crowds.

It is a perfect place to stay if you want to avoid all the crowds after watching the fireworks and you can just walk back to the hotel (10mins walk).

We went to the 4th floor and went outside, climbed up a couple of flights of stairs and had the most perfect view, no crowd!!

With younger children, it is a great way to see the fireworks without having to travel in huge crowds to exit the park, and bring them back to the hotel for bedtime.

We had come back early due to my arthritic knees playing up and the crowds being huge meaning I would have to stand for a couple of hours waiting for the fireworks.

They play the music that you would hear if you were actually at the Magic Kingdom, so you feel like you are there without fighting the crowds.

It was really nice to be able to walk to and from the MK instead of having to deal with crowds at a bus or boat.

The walk to Magic Kingdom is maybe 10 minutes, and is a life-saver at night to not have to wait with the crowds for the monorail or a bus.

When you take a deposit, you produce, or you give it back.

They're aren't enough elevators for the amount of rooms in the main tower which typically has you waiting in line for them, especially around when the fireworks happen and everyone that isn't staying there shows up.

Only reason why I didn’t give it a 5 is because the elevators are very busy.

The elevator is a bit small especially for large families.

The elevators were extremely slow, the food was overly expensive and not good.

Also, the elevator didn't work in our building,

Two of the elevators were not functioning properly during our entire week-long stay.

As other reviews mention, the hotel could also use several more elevators to avoid lengthy waits.

As there was only one functioning lift we requested to be moved to the ground floor as this would make things easier with the wheelchair.

When elevators arrive they are over full.

We like seeing the characters as chefs from our walkway to the elevator.

Also, expect the elevators to be super busy in the morning and at park close.

And the elevators are slow and rammed at all times.

There were 4 elevators at the resort in the main building

Tip: get there 15-20 min earlier because you have to ride the elevator up and there will be a line.

We were also disappointed to see only one small elevator for the entire wing and only 1 party at at time allowed.

Family-of-ten Disney Trip made easier by staying at the Contemporary.

It's one of the original 1971 Disney resorts, along with the Polynesian.

The hotel in proximity to Magic Kingdom cannot be beat.

It was so nice watching the nightly fireworks at the magic kingdom from our balcony.

We loved being able to walk to magic kingdom.

And the access to our favorite park, Magic Kingdom, was awesome.

I have stayed at Disney a few times and this was my second return to the Contemporary.

The best thing about this resort is the walk to the Magic Kingdom.

EXCELLENT value for money if your goal is the Magic Kingdom.

Over the years we have stayed at several Disney resorts

We enjoyed being able to take the monorail back and forth from Epcot and The Magic Kingdom.

Didn’t feel the Disney magic from this cast member.

Best location and such a short distance to Magic Kingdom!could also watch fireworks from hotel and good atmosphere!

You can actually walk to magic Kingdom too.

We have always enjoyed visiting the Contemporary, even when we are staying at other Disney resorts.

Because we did not pay any upgrade charge for this floor it is hard to gauge how good a deal it is.

Overall a nice stay, if a bit overpriced.

Though the price point is high, I can now see what the Contemporary provides that the moderate resorts simply do not.

Someone else mentioned parking and there are no costs to park.

For the price Disney charges the room should be clean.

You paid to get the resort closest to Magic Kingdom by foot (less than 10 mins).

We paid extra for the Disney feel and I felt like a number in a clunky old machine.

Regardless, it was disgusting and not worth the price.

bottle of water and the downstairs store charged 4.69 plus tax.

I would have paid more if I had known I was in a separate building.

All the food is over priced we bought 4 burgers and 4 Gatorades at the cafe and it cost $99 Canadian the burgers were dry and burnt (McDonald’s has better burgers).

but was relatively expensive at breakfast.

even though I paid for a room with a patio or balcony and did not receive one.

but I expect way more for the price we paid.

In a word, this hotel is an expensive process.

The food selection from breakfast to late night cognac and dessert was of good quality and the wine selection very (burp) lovely.

Steakhouse 71 is brilliant (and now does take out too).

Contempo Cafe is a fast-casual eatery which also has a "market" with numerous grab-and-go items.

While the garden wing is decent (especially for the price), I highly recommend staying in the main tower because of the monorail and restaurants access.

The restaurant makes sure Mickey & Minnie & Goofy, Donald & Pluto says hello to every table🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️&&&&&& the dancing from these 5 AMAZING!

Mobile order breakfast to go from Steakhouse 71 was divine .

We had a big birthday dinner at California Grill -- well worth the expense if you get a chance to dine there.

The snack bar at the pool had nice lunches choices and treats.

Other good things:
- Contempo cafe doing great breakfast and mobile orders for a quick park getaway in the morning
- The pool, the kids loved it at the end of the day 
- Monorail leaving from just inside the hotel
- Within walking distance to the Magic Kingdom
- Watching fireworks from the floor fire escape

Bad things:
- The lifts are so slow!

Multiple restaurants and bars, great bartenders and also shops and arcade.

Reservations are a high must for the in-demand restaurants.

On the few days/evenings we did not have dining reservations, we had no problem getting a meal, drinks and snacks at the quick serve area (again, cast members were always available, pleasant, and attentive).

Booked chef mickey and well worth the money with food and the time the characters spent with us.

Food was cooked wonderfully and they packed everything you could want in the take away bags.

Shopping and restaurants offer great variety.

We checked our bags with the valet while we ate before our transfer to the airport arrived.

Happily, the food in the parks was much better.

We arrived early by Uber and were able to store our bags, go to the parks, and go straight to the room the next day.

Our room was in the Garden Wing, which is much quieter than the main building
