This place was awesome, first we were greeted and farewelled by Mackendy at the front who was super friendly and helpful.

However, no matter how friendly, there are only so many people to help with check-out, so I highly recommend checking out the *night before you leave* (that is, if you don't plan on using the minibar later that evening).

but quickly developed friendly rapport with 5-6 of the staff.

The natural hot water park (only for guests of the hotels) is great and calming with may different temperature pools with varying depths.

The location is very convinient, close to the water park, the resort hot pools.

The best experience is  surfing in a hot water wave swimming pool.

It also gives free access to the hot water baths.

The place is beautiful and the hot waters are relaxing.

In the other side, the restaurant staff is very gentle and polite and the swimming pools that are hot and very beautiful.

but in my opinion Tursimo is the best one because of location and facilities.

My family has been going to Rio Quente Resorts for almost 20 years and Turismo, since it was first opened, has constantly stood out as our favorite location to stay.

Talk about the location & amenities
The hotel is very well located close a desativated vulcano mountain witch supplies by a hot water creek hidden in an amazing "cerrado" forest.

but using a football), oh and dancing in the pool.

Also, it is a great location because it is equally distanced from Hot Park and the Parque das Fontes (Fountains' Park), where the thermal pools are located, and within a short walk to the Toldo do Bosque, where the evening shows occur.

Everything rest was great.The place is great, the nightly shows are wonderful and the heated pools are the maximum.I hope to return soon to relax and have fun.

Do not miss the “Araras” flying around the pool by the end of the day.

On the good side, the pools have clear and fresh warm water and bars where you can relax.

The resort in general is fantastic .. the natural pools are unbeatable.

Hotel Turismo, on the grounds of Rio Quente Resorts, is a good basic hotel with lovely grounds and a pool.

That way you can pay your bill ahead of time and not even have to pass by the line-ups on Sunday morning (which happens often because everyone's flight leaves at the same time).

For the price charged I expected the ultimate resort experience.

Restaurants are too expensive for what they offer - the food is merely acceptable and menus are poor in options.

Second problem was with the items charged at the bill: They double charged our dinner costs.

Our second room was much better smelling.

NOTE: Not all rooms have wifi, as per feedback given by the receptionist.

There are definitely a lot more of the staff that deserve a shout out

The hotel's service is always quick and reliable, with our rooms being cleaned as soon as we leave for the day and the front desk doing whatever they can to help, any time of the day.

We were Family travelling, including a 89y lady.

I noticed the extra charge in the bill and they quickly corrected it.

Servers in general are very nice & hospitable,

The room and the food are OK, the front-desk is below-average.

Although this was a family trip I had lots of work to do during the early morning and/or night.

Wonderfull place with heated natural waterpools, big water park (hot park), with several swimming pools, water bars, kids will love, unbelievable place where u can chill out and join with family.

My family and friends visited this excellent hotel for 3 nights in May 2017.

Best place to relax and have fun with your family.

All in all we met many lovely staff and families  and it met our criteria perfectly.

The bar staff and the restaurant staff were particullary friendly and helpful.

Again, knowing the language, I called the Customer Care line, in which a very friendly person tried to help me.

  - Even having 4 years old, the hotel is very well maintaned, parking is easy , employees are very friendly

Could be better
  Lots of things could be better for families travelling with small children, such as..
- Direct Transportation to "Hotibum" attraction.

The swimming pools and attractions at the Pousada do Rio Quente and Hot Park are also AMAZING and toddler friendly!

I have to agree that I found the Tourismo staff exceptionally warm and friendly, and I thought the food was excellent.

but obviously with the old children's pool decommissioned and the new one moved a long distance from the main thermal pools, parents now insist on bringing young children and babies into the deep pools.

From the front desk, help with our bags, service at the bar near the pool and the breakfast/lunch restaurant.

at the park pools cleanliness was poor at the bar and bar tables, I've cleaned the tables.

the live music in the pool at night is amazing.

The infinity pool was gorgeous at the hotel and the sunsets were spectacular!

but my brother-in-law has stayed there a few times and described it as classy and high-end with a beautiful infinity pool.

People say the water flow is around 1.6 million gallons/h, which is enough to renovate the pools many times a day.

They have an infinity pool with a great view.

I suggest them to hire a chef from club med or from Costao do Santinho

  In the rooms the internet is HORRIBLE.

During my stay I identified 3 things that still need to be improved: 1) the check-in was too slow; 2)wi-fi in our room was horrible (I did not care too much because I mostly left my cell phone in the safe box to force myself out of work. Lol.

There's been a lot of attention paid to upgrading safety and security in all the facilities.

Loads of fun and attractions, good food, good bedrooms not to mention the amazing hot water and the wonderful employees.

Well, this lady helped me to re-do the reservation over the phone and needed a lot of brazilian information that I did not have handy, which she then sent me a link to complete the payment transaction, which I did in the end of the same day.
